"I didn't shop there"
"I don't know how many times I bought Life Smart ground chicken which is Metro and Super C's brand "Irrésistibles", and even though the date on the packaging is more than fine (usually 3-4 days until spoiled) the meat still has an awful smell at least 50% of the time"
"Always great deals and you can leave with quite a large amount of food for a low spending"
"Friendly staff"
I haven't done enough shopping here to know if the prices were high, but they were definitely higher than Tampa Florida Aldi prices. Probably closer to Publix prices. Quite a lot of fruit /veggie selection, but I couldn't find anything beyond the basics for a pot of tea. Very crowded. As dirty as you would expect a discount supermarket to be. Some of the people hanging around the entrance made me uncomfortable because they look like they were hunting. Just be aware. I love that it is across the street from a great thrift store.
I didn't shop there... But my diahrrea came out fine in the available public bathroom. The clientèle is a bit unnerving when having to wait a good 10 minutes while I poop. The bathroom was a little gross, but luckily the toilet paper roll was full, the soap dispenser had soap, and the running water was hot. I was able to successfully clean the toilet seat without fear of having fecal matter or urine on my hands or buttocks before completing my task. The experience was overall stressful but nonetheless warm and liberating.
I don't know how many times I bought Life Smart ground chicken which is Metro and Super C's brand "Irrésistibles", and even though the date on the packaging is more than fine (usually 3-4 days until spoiled) the meat still has an awful smell at least 50% of the time. What is even more infuriating is when the date is good and they get noticed (probably by a client) that the meat is bad, they put it on sale. Unbelievable.
Always great deals and you can leave with quite a large amount of food for a low spending. I would prefer if they had a points card and not an app which had specials. Obviously I am uploading a review during Covid-19. So I appreciate their 1 person enter policy to minimize overflow and we have technology where we can text family to make sure we didn't forget anything behind.
Friendly staff. However the mandatory shopping cart is perhaps a wrong policy to deal with covid. I often just need 1 or 2 items and I end up spending 2wice/3 times more time in the store because I have to carry the thing with me and wait for people to move on. Not a big deal anyhow and appreciate that you guys are open during covid. This was just my feedback and thought.
Always check out a Super C when looking for food. Anyway , being unfamiliar with this location, I could not find a good selection of wines here. But maybe, there never is good selection in these stores. Don't have Super C stores in my home town. Anyway, bought a bag of chips for 99 cents plus tax. There was an SAQ (liquor) store around the corner.
Regular groceries store with huge selection of food and drinks, from hourly breads and snacks to preservatives goods. Customer service are acceptable and cashiers are fast at scanning products. Few times I've visited this store and the only 2 part that I can find improvement on would be the dirtiness of the entrance and bathroom. Would recommend.
Rude staff, decent prices, lack of fresh produces. One of their fridge has actually been off for 2 months now and the meat in it is just gross. They know about it but won't fix it. Happened once that I bought some drinkable yogurt only to get home and find out it was already opened. Tried to return it but they refused = crappy customer support.
It's more or less the same as any super c, the prices aren't particularly shocking, they don't have as much quantity in stock when there is a large sale though. I'm not a fan of them prioritizing self-checkout over cashier's. It's not exactly the biggest location, so it doesn't really make sense to do so from my perspective
It’s a nice place to buy groceries the prices are great and it’s easily accessible and employees there are pretty helpful and nice I recommend buy your groceries there I wish they had like some sort of rewards card that whenever you buy stuff you get points cause that’ll make shopping there even better
Employees are usually quite nice. The place itself is almost always out of meat. Aisles tend to be crowded with boxes / stocking carts. It's cheap. The bathroom is not locked yet so that's nice. Honestly it's just a decent grocery store with, probably, clientele that make it look worse than it is.
Illegible price tags on the shelves that don't always even show the unit price legibly. No cashes open other than the express to force people to use their horrible self-serve cashes that don't work right. It's nice of them to encourage people to shop at other grocery stores -- it's working.
I am the guy from Service de Collecte Cans4Cash. I am always treated kindly and in a friendly manner when I bring unwanted refundable bottles and cans there. I bring a lot of refundable empties on a daily basis. I also shop there and the staff is always eager to help me locate products.
Good sized Super C, well stocked, good selection. Carpark is small and very busy. You can't wheel your trolley to your car because of the bollards they have, so you have to leave it by the entrance and carry your bags to your car, or bring your car to the entrance and then load up.
This store is always such a disappointment. Out of the 6 sale items I went there for they had 1 in stock. This happens VERY OFTEN! Even regular household items like garbage bags are sold out. I only go there because it's close to home but typically it's a waste of my time anyways.
They put 6 self serve checkouts and their horrible and because of that, there are less staff at the cash. Its stressful and will most likely go elsewhere like metro just because they put in those self checkouts which probably means they laid off employees just to save money.
SuperC Market offers a standard grocery shopping experience with an average variety of products at reasonable prices. While the customer service is satisfactory, there's nothing particularly outstanding about the store that sets it apart from other supermarkets in the area.
I like super C. It's much cheaper than Metro or IGA. The food there is fresh enough. It's not close to metro station tho. If shop there you need to take bus. The store is clean the staffs are helpful. There is enough variety of food choices. I would recommend this place.
Very tight and limited parking. The store is too crowded and I don't mean by customers. The ailes are too narrow and they have used every inch of the store to put products. Very difficult to maneuver especially when they don't even offer smaller shopping carts.
Low prices as any SuperC. The have lot of food to refill when something is on special so everyone can get some. On the quality of the fruits and vegetables it's not the best. I'd recommend going to Adonis for fruits and vegetables for same price in average.
The worst self checkout machines money can buy, why didn't they just buy the ones Provigo or Maxi uses, it slows everything down with all the endless glitches, I only come here if I absolutely have to, like when eggs are on sale like today for 2.44$.
Had a disappointing first experience. Bought cut and packaged watermelons and it had gone bad tasting sour. The place is nice, vast and offers a huge collection but they should probably keep a closer eye on their cut, ready to serve fruits section.
They have a lot of variety. They have a ton of registers open at all times. Most of the items aren't too expensive and yet, very good quality. They also have an Asian, European and Mediterranean aisle which not every grocery store have.
Good place for deals on food and it's well known. When it's on sale, you need to be fast or you'll get an empty shelve in front of you. Hard to manoeuver in the dairy section with all the the product piles. Overall a great experience.
Best prices in the neighborhood but they are seemingly frequently out of stock for things that I regularly buy. They also never have enough cashiers on duty and (like almost every grocery store these days) expect us to scan our own
Large variety of products and fresh veggies. Also has a very nice international aisle (asian, caraïbes, latin, italian, middle eastern, etc), where I usually find all sorts of products. Fair prices, spacious, but yes usually packed!
I don't buy my protein here but for anything else save tons of money! Canned goods, dairy brands, vegetables/fresh produce, good selection of alcoholic beverages too. Not too big but not too small. They have cashiers and also self
Big store with old women who can’t speak a single word in English, i do think they can speak little english but they choose to ignore you once they see that you dont speak French, which is kinda embarrassing in customer care.
This super c was cleaner than others I have seen but not by much. Go here if you see good deals on canned or packaged items but don't trust fresh things like meat or produce. Getting fresh produce here is a gamble.
Meh This super C is okay, nothing special. Saw a lady touch every baguette with her hands, let's just say I won't buy any baguette there. Otherwise you can find mostly anything you need. Could be cleaner though.
Not a bad place to shop. They have good prices on most things and lots of specials. Their vegetables are sometimes in bad shape and I wouldn't trust the meat. For general grocery shopping though, great prices.
Wanted to work there as it seemed dynamic. Once hired I soon realized that the HR videos are one thing whereas staff are on a lower level. More info may be provided to anyone interested. To be continued...
Not many healthy options in some categories, the produce was a bit over-priced, and the whole store had a feeling of being a little dirty and disorganized. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
Super C is budget friendly for those keeping an eye on the grocery bill. You get more value for your money than any other grocery store that I've seen in Montreal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I love their seasonal planters. The groceries are at a fair and cheap price and when there’s a sale it’s even better! I always check out there sales on the App Flipp, right on my phone!
Always crowded, always waiting for the cashier. This same is true for self checkout machines as well. It has been like this for years. Appeeantly it is not an issue for the management.
The peices are good as all of the other super c but you have to be really patient because most of the time you have ro wait a long time in line before you can finally pay your grocery.
This place is ok just make sure you watch the expiry date on meat. Was sold bad meat a few times as well as bad fruits and veggies. On special sometimes means too bad to sell tomorow.
Tidy place, includes almost everything for daily life. Vast variation of food and vegtable. Discount on meats (Fish, chicken, beef and pork) are always on. Great prices and great staff.
Always fast at the cash and the staff is great. Sometimes there are some veggies missing but because of its demographic location, i think its on purpose. Never had a bad experience
They are always missing items and when asked for a raincheck they say no and say its out of there controle.service really went down hill the past few months here. Won't be back
Some stuff on the shelves are missing. I understand things could be sold out still when you get to the store and the regular stuff is not there it's an upsetting experience...
Nice place to get a variety of groceries and save some money. You need to have plenty of time if you’re visiting though, as the lines for the cashiers can get pretty long.
Cashier was very pleasant. Found everything I was looking for unlike some stores that do not stock sufficient amounts of sale items. Was an all over satisfying experience.
Very effective and cheap prices. All groceries are available. Nearest metro is pie-9. One can take bus 179 to reach there. Credit card acceptable. Wheelchair accessible.
When I want quality, I go to the Maisonneuve market. For everything else, there's Super C. It's definitely cheaper there than any other grocery stores in the area.
What can I say about this super c! Always clean for were it is located. Amazing employees who smile and who are not afraid to spark up a conversation if wanted!
Always fresh, packed nicely, prices are better than most places...a few immigrant things missing but overall it is a great place which provides great services.
Almost always calm environment. Well organized. Usually well stocked. Very much cheaper than shopping at Metro. And there's self checkout. Great super c.
They're in-store brand Selection waffles are amazing. I have been eating them for years. I toast them, butter them, drizzle maple syrup and lemon juice.
Small entrance, smaller parking and staff is not as jolly as in other super C. As of the quality of groceries, it is great just like any other super C.
What can you say, super c so the prices are good. I'm just not a fan of their self check out machines, they seem to bug a lot. Maxi has the best ones.
Best place to shop for groceries. Affordable and reliable. Plus it is so much cheaper to get stuff delivered than taking a taxi on huge shopping days.
How are they out of sale items on day 2 of the new sales. But the place was pretty clean for "Cheque Day" and the staff was quite polite and patient.
Very nice grocery store, very cheap prices and has great promotions. Opening hours makes it the best place to get grocery even late at night.
Most of the products are good, but last time I have found a bunch of molded tomatoes on the display. Honestly, there were more than a dozen.
Conveniently located, clean enough, good prices. However, specials are often not available, especially meat or half and half (10% cream)
Maybe I am being dramatic, but the cockroaches at this place really grossed me out. I don’t know if the cheap produce is worth it.
Very good supermarket. Very convenient location, #1 in my area in my opinion and definitely my family's favorite grocery store.
The fruit..not so fresh..bought a case of mango, didn't check them..they all were bad but 1. I hate the lighting in that store.
A good place for affordable groceries. A lot of their aisles were out of stock, hope they can rapidly replenish their stock.
Two parking lots make it easy to take the car to pick up large orders. Basic and low cost groceries with good weekly deals.
Good prices and always have what I'm looking for. Would have given 5 stars if the service was faster at the cash register.
Why does FedEx make SuperC their pickup point? Do they understand how the SuperC experience is different from their brand?
Easy access by bus. Going south bus stops in front. Alot of choices in store. You can check out on yourself if you want.
Very good price and last variety of food. Highly recommend Super C to be your go to supermarket for meat and veggies.
Huge with almost everything you need at affordable prices. This is where I buy all my groceries. Every single thing
Products are nice stoked, but new young cassiers are hopeless, I was waiting 20 minutes to have a rain cheque...
It's a Super C in a fantastic location - just a few blocks from Metro Pie-IX and on the 125 Ontario bus route.
Kinda smells sometimes, but you can usually find some very good deals compared to other major grocery stores.
It is the best place for fresh meat and veggies. The price is cheaper than other grocery stores in the area.
Nice large format superstore. But huge queue. Self checkout kiosks are not enough to handle the crowd here.
Lower price on some items, but many things can't be found. Other groceries in the area have more selection
Good shop and the prices are affordable. Sometimes you can get good discounts, but sometime not …
Untrustworthy I bought bottle of Pepsi from vending machine And it is expired I’m so disappointed
It's a Super C, so yeah, good prices, decent quality, and the staff is usually quite friendly :)
Clean, well organized grocery store, can be extremely busy but there are self checkouts as well.
Pretty good overall. Sometimes some shelves are empty but it's a pretty popular location.
Guy in the white hair chased my 5 year old in the parking lot. My son is now in therapy.
Priduct are good quality and low cost if and when available. which is not often
Good grocery store, friendly staff, slightly smaller compared to other superc.
Deals every day all year long, but parking space is small and congested
Well organised, but sometimes there is a nasty smell at the entry
Great prices, always have sale items in stock when I go.
Good prices, good selection and mostly friendly staff
Very kind to me at customer service! Merci beaucoup!
Good selection , decent prices , curteous staff.
Excellent staff. Very helpful. Very clean store.
Good discounts and range of products
