"We had the chicharron pupusas, the beef tongue plate with fried plantain, bean rice and yucca fries"
"I’ve been coming here since I was in high school, so a little over 6 years now"
"Very nice clean place , starting with the employees, very nice serve you with a smile on them faces , well trained, a cute lady came advising the employee what they need to do I think she is the owner or manager don’t know but she is hot, I was there morning time they was preparing the meals for the days we didn’t have much time so we took arepas with cheese and another one with corn I think the name was cachapa, it’s very yummy and the prices very acceptable they have many Latin food and a space for shopping I loved it cause I found the spices that I need , very cool place You should visit and try the food plus you can do some shopping not a big place for shopping but you will find most Latin product that you need for your kitchen "
"The attention was good considering that there were a lot of people, but for the volume of people there are few places to eat and the tables were dirty full of food leftovers from customers who did not have the kindness to collect their leftovers and None of the staff did either"
"A perfect Colombian and Latin restaurant that also has the supermarket attached to it"
We had the chicharron pupusas, the beef tongue plate with fried plantain, bean rice and yucca fries. The food was amazing! The beef tongues are not a usual choice of meat for us, but we were feeling adventurous. They were so tender and perfectly seasoned, they tasted great with the bean rice. The pupusas were freshly prepared. With the medium spicy sauce, they were fantastic, perfectly toasted on the outside, tender yummy porky filling inside. It is a cafeteria style of restaurant so order at the counter and find seats afterwards (about 20 seats only). The counter lady was so patient at explaining the various options to us. We would definitely come back again. The menu seems to be composed of Mexican, Colombian and Salvadoran delights.
I’ve been coming here since I was in high school, so a little over 6 years now. It’s a charming place with a Latin grocery and a small restaurant with a quaint area for dining in. They’ve recently expanded their grocery at this location, so there are more products available now. The Colombian empanadas are amazing! It’s my favourite one here in Montreal. I’ve also tried a bunch of their desserts & it’s always been a great experience. The staff is always so kind & attentive. I don’t speak Spanish and I started out being unfamiliar with most of the food choices when I started coming here and every single time, they’ve been so helpful at explaining and recommending things from their menu. PS: Inca Kola + Empanadas = perfect summer treat

The attention was good considering that there were a lot of people, but for the volume of people there are few places to eat and the tables were dirty full of food leftovers from customers who did not have the kindness to collect their leftovers and None of the staff did either. The dish that my husband ordered for me was a chicken in sauce with fried yucca and baked plantain, everything was delicious except the chicken whose flavor was too subtle and did not stand out at all, passion fruit elujogo was delicious, and the bathroom was clean even when We waited a long time outside since the door was closed and nobody answered. It turns out that the door was stuck.
A perfect Colombian and Latin restaurant that also has the supermarket attached to it. The food is beyond delicious and the service is super friendly and hospitable. You can dine in or take out and the restaurant is very quick and on its feet. I had the spicy chicken quesadillas while my partner had rice, chicken, and fried yuca and it was as authentic as it could get ! Loved the food and the taste and so glad I discovered this gem of a place through recommendations. I am definitely coming back with family and friends and trying so many other things on the menu :)
We just happened across this spot while walking down the street. It looked like a spot that lots of locals were popping into so we tried it. Absolutely delicious food, large portions and we were more than full by the end of it. The price was great for the amount of diverse foods you could get on one plate. There is a grocer attached with lots to browse. Huge selection of yerba mate to choose from. I would definitely recommend stopping in here. The rice pudding and sweets were particularly good to share after as well!
Incredibly delicious!! You can tell as soon as you walk in because it smells so good! And the staff is all really super nice! Photo is my partner’s order, rice and beans with chicken and salad, very filling. I had the pupusas with salad and some medium spicy green sauce and it was super delicious. Pupusas by themselves are a very filling meal. Prices are good. Will be returning often to try more things!

Great spot to have a quick bite to eat, authentic food and products to the core. This is not a restaurant but rather a Latin food grocery store which also serves food but no matter, the service here is better than at some restaurants I've been in. They sell products from all over Latin America.. given the small size of this place and being Latino myself, I'd say they're very well stocked and with good variety. Come check it out and take a visit to Latin America
Great restaurant and grocery store. It has a huge selection of hot sauces, chilies, beans, tortillas and other Central and South American staples. If there’s a specific ingredient for a Latin American recipe you can’t find at a regular grocery store you’ll likely find it here. On the restaurant side they have good empanadas, very good pupusas and I love their soups. All very reasonably priced. Nice causal spot for a quick and comforting lunch.
Walked by today and I had to stop in for lunch because it smelled so good. We had the chorizo tacos and the pulled beef with rice, beans, and plantain. The food was delicious, flavorful, and inexpensive and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back again and again. An added bonus is that the back part of this restaurant is a small grocery store specializing in Latino grocery products.
An excellent spot that only locals seem to know about. You can dine in, takeout, or get groceries here. Great lunch spot! Tacos, arepas, and empanadas You can find Mexican, Spanish, and other South American goods in the grocery store attached (+1 for frozen empanadas and arepas). Service here is very friendly. The menu is a bit in accurate, but it’s not a huge deal.

Avoid their restaurant section. It used to be good now their quality decreased. For example their cheese empanadas used to have lots of cheese now it’s all crust and nothing inside. I paid 18$ for a small stale looking salad and some crust that they call empanadas. Worst spent money ever. Used to be a regular customer but never planning to return here again after this experience
Awesome grocery store to pick up your South American and Mexican items. I got my panela cheese, cotija, queso fresco, epazote, guascas, achiote, tomatillos, aji amarillo, masa, picanha steak, Colombian sausage, chorizo, beans etc…While you’re there, try their amazing tacos at their food counter. Very friendly service too!
Great Latino grocer, comptoir service and a quick lunch with indoor seating and air conditioning. We got the Venezuelan tamal and carne asada enchiladas with rudimentary jarrito. There was a lot of quick and ready choices, including by the item buffet selections, pupusas, tamals, arepa, and plantanos.
Just what I need! Excellent prices, especially for the spices. Friendly staff too! I had access to latin stores like this in Colorado and didn't expect to find anything like this in Montreal, let alone something that is this affordable. I am so happy to have found this place and will be returning!
Bought what I was told to be Columbian empanadas, but was awful. Served with a Mexican salsa. Picada was over cooked and was served to a Columbian, he said it was unedible. A waste of money !!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! Was for a birthday dinner, buy was ruined with poor quality . Afraid ti try tres leche
They have several options for vegetarian even vegans. Good music, you really feel the good Colombian mood. Also all of people there was so nice and friendly. If you want to try a bit of Latinoamerican culture this is the place for you! Natural juice and desserts highly recommended.
Who would argue with efficient, professional, trilingual servers offering plates of wholesome carnitas, plantains, quesadillas, empanadas, y otros cosas? Sabor Latino is a delight; the market on St Hubert is newer, cleaner, and brighter but both markets offer a Latin flavour.
Great spot for a quick bite. Tamales, Arepas, Flan and much more. Eat in or take out. Small grocery store right in the store. Everything is fresh. The desert trois lait, or three milk desert, is great! Especially with fresh made coffee!!! Right on the main! Enjoy! ;)
I ordered the veggie plate (#12) and it was delicious! They were out of one of the items so they gave me extra plantain as a substitute. So yummy! Quick and friendly service, they were happy to offer suggestions about what to get. Thank you!

Very good price. The service is very friendly and the takeaway food always tastes great. Edit: I came back today to get takeaway again. Thanks for being so warm and friendly. I really enjoy buying food here Also please bring back the pan de queso.
It's really an acquired taste. You either love it or you don't. I had a chicken tamal and a yuca ball. Tamal was not for me but that yuca ball was sooooo good. Would definitely go back for more of those. It's a crispy yam ball stuffed with meat.
I had been here once before and my experience was okay. But this past time it was not that great, they sold us a tres leches that tasted spoiled. I would be concerned on how long they have some of their pastries in display. Very disappointing
They expanded the store ! So many rows of products from all over south america and Mexico. I was so excited when I found some alfajores from Havana I squealed. Great selection of sauces, sweets, snacks and pantry staples. I always like to
They're my fav, they serve nice portion but they have diminished their portion(a little) and upped their price, but I still love them. The people serving you, are always so welcoming and friendly, they're paired up with a grocery store
Fantastic pupusas, tacos, empanadas, everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. Service in three languages, too. Never know if I should order in Spanish, French, or English lol. Very nice staff and extremely reasonable prices.
This is a small Salvadorian restaurant with soul and heart. The food is perfect, the choice is great and the staff are all nice and, most importantly, they care. I went to Salvador before and it taste just like I remember.
I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, the expansion & product selection in the supermarket is great y todos los empleados son muy amables! The best out of the two locations in terms of cooked meals, honestly.
Great latino market. You can go and try delicious latino food for take out. They have in place COVID measures, so you can feel free to go and leave easily. Everithing I ordered was tasty and service is amazing!
so far the best place to eat latin food in town, it really makes you feel closer to home, and there is plenty of options to try, the prices are good, and the people in there are reaaaally kind
Amazing place. It's divided in 2 parts. The "Pret-a-porter" section with tons of great food ready to go, and the market with everything Ive been looking for in other markets.
Smaller supermarket with extensive variety of products essential for Latin cuisine. Small meat counter with helpful staff. Fruit and vegetable offerings need more variety.
Great place to stock up on your Mexican hot sauces. Staff was helpful and they have a good selection. They also have prepared food that is cheap and delicious.
I love Sabor Latino! They have all the fresh ingredients I need for cooking traditional Mexican dishes. Also they have tons of variety of snacks and candies.
Amazing surprise to find walking past! They had many of the peppers and spices from South America that I could never find so I was buying online.
Food is fire!! Authentic, cafeteria style Latin American food (great fried plantain). I usually get heartburn but it’s usually worth it
Wow absolutely delicious tacos, Al Pastor and Chorizo. There are countless other appetizing things to eat here, certainly will be back!
Amazing place! Really good food at very affordable prices in a great location. I take all montreal visitors here! A must see!
Next to the grocery store, there is a little "restaurant" that serves different items all over South America.
The food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the place smells amazing will be back. …
There are many latinamerican products available. It is a specialized middle size supermarket.
Excellent service! Makes you feel like family and there chicharon’s are amazing 12/10 for me.
Love this place, food is amazing, friendly staff, great quantities and prices …
Great selection of items, and fresh tasty food from the market restaurant
The staff was very friendly. Good place to find all latin products.
Super good food and super nice employées :)
