This was the most disappointing & traumatic GYN visit that I have ever experienced. I want to make it very clear that the staff at Mount Sinai Doctors & the doctors’ personal nurse Delvin are completely excluded from the following criticism. If anything, I find it so unfortunate that they are apart of a team with a physician like Dr. Abrams. I made this appointment to follow up on some serious news I received about test results regarding an STI. This is my first experience with something so scary & unknown to me. When I arrived to the office of Mount Sinai Doctors. I was greeted cheerfully by the front-desk staff & my wait time was minimal. When Nurse Delvin took my vitals - her demeanor and attitude were kind, receptive & open. I felt heard and understood. She assured me that Dr. Abrams would take good care of me-her attitude prompted me to feel more relaxed & that I was in fact a safe space. However, this good start to my appointment, did not prepare me for the horrible interaction that was about to ensue with Dr. Abrams. When Dr. Abrams walked into the room and began speaking with me I noticed the negative change in the quality of communication immediately. She was very dismissive upon speaking to me about my STI. She made it very clear that she disapproved of my personal choice to have unprotected sex with my boyfriend. In my world & in my opinion - this is a personal choice that does not need to be criticized or cast judgment upon by my GYN. Anyway, I told her that although I took the required prescription for treatment of this STI. I still was not feeling well at all & I was looking forward to being examined as to assuage my fears about this condition potentially being worse than we initially thought bc of my current discomfort. The whole room was set up for me to be examined. Yet I was not examined, I was reprimanded with negative words & told that I should come back in 3 weeks to be examined because I received the treatment already. The way that this information was delivered - the tone, the attitude, the demeanor, the crossed arms - I would never recommend this doctor to anyone - even my worst enemy. No one deserves to be hurt when they are vulnerable and seeking care. At this point in the appointment, I not only felt completely unsafe in Dr. Abrams presence. I subsequently had to leave the exam room & then the building in tears. I will definitely be searching for a new GYN...

I arrived for an appointment on Tuesday July 14, 2020. I expected extra precautions to be taken during the Covid-19 crisis. Boy was I mistaken! After having my temperature taken at the door I was allowed into the waiting room with about 6 - 10 others. The security guard at the door doing the temperature checks wrote on an ID the expiration date of July 12th. Mind you it was July 14th so what was the purpose of that? The signs said no visitors allowed but there were clearly visitors dropping off patients in the waiting room. No one seems to ask them to leave. I couldn't believe what I was being subjected to. My Cat's veterinarian is taking more precautions than Mt. Sinai Doctors. When I take my pet to the vet I'm not even allowed in the building. At my dentist 's office I'm not allowed into the office until the prior patient has left and the office and exam room has been sanitized. There is no waiting in the waiting room allowed at either my dentist or my vet's office. This is how it should be. What a joke. As if a temperature check guarantees that I am not infected. Give me a break. And my doctor as usual overbooked and was running almost an hour behind schedule. Did someone have the courtesy to call me and tell me my appointment would be delayed so I would not have to sit in an enclosed space amounting to a petri dish of virus? Of course not! They expected me to sit for over 50 minutes in a patient waiting room with other patients who weren't even wearing the mask properly over their noses. Is Mt. Sinai a reputable and responsible health provider or a mortician waiting for clients? No wonder people are choosing to die at home during this pandemic. Shame on Mt. Sinai!

Honestly, Ielt like I was a robot being treated by robots. When I arrived, my vitals were checked at the door with an oximeter and temporal scanner. My temperature was recorded as 95 which I know is lower than it really is. Then the security guard rearranged things on the table as the tech was finalizing my oximeter results. As a result they couldn't find my sticker for a minute. The waiting room is cold and uninviting. Social distancing is insane and, more imporantly, the restroom is closed due to COVID. . Really? I was quickly swept into the medical room, given an EKG that I guess was routine, and then the cardiologist came in. My cardioloist is someone I've been seeing for years, and really liked and trusted in the past, but in recent visits, I feel like a timer is started when I start my visit and he is not allowed to go over the time allotment of the timer. Then I was told I would be given a card for my next appointment. I was given a card for a day and time that I would definitely not be able to keep the appointment. Mount Sinai Doctors needs to understand who their patients are. I think it may be time for me to look for a new Cardiologist or, maybe, encourage my current cardiologist to join a different group practice other than Mount Sinai Doctors Forest Hills.

I am having severe, excruciating back pain. One of my doctors wanted me to have an X-ray of my pelvis to rule out sacroiliac joint dysfunction- as I am scheduled to have surgery and we are trying to avoid that. This location will not allow me to have an X-ray here because my provider is not in the building. Such a stupid rule, it makes sick patients have to call multiple people and travel all over the place to get care. The operators don't even have access to other Mount Sinai location schedules- so it's nearly impossible for me to find the easiest place to get to get the imaging done.I willl the one I spoke with was SO helpful but his hands were tied!)Why am I the one going out to my way so my doctor can see the image fast enough? This system is really not patient centered and makes me want to avoid Mount Sinai...

I called to make an annual checkup appointment for the first time. My insurance is very good, everywhere I go I never had any issues, it's from an insurance company that is not famous, but the final payer of the insurance is Aetna. I never had any problem anywhere else with my insurance. The lady who answered my call refused to check the insurance for me, the second she heard the name of the insurance company, she started to ask me to go somewhere else, not even bothered to listen to my explanation. "We don't do that here" that's what she said. She is very rude too, keep interrupting me when I'm talking. I have to tell her to please let me finish. Very Interesting. Please don't do your business like this, you are losing some good patients.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. I’ve gone to almost every mount Siani hospital and clinic in NYC Been going there since I was born I love the doctors from mount Siani but I recently started bringing my mother to this clinic and the doctors are horrible they are extremely rude and seem like they don’t even want to be bothered. Never expected this from mount Siani. And it seem to only be this location. If you have no patience to deal with elderly people. Switch departments. now I have to switch all my mothers doctors because she just hates coming here knowing that we are just going to be treated horribly

Dr. Emily N Fatakhov MD took the time to listened to my concerns and aliments I've gone to many doctors and felt defended over my chronic joint pain. I've always left offices feeling unheard or unseen this wasn't the case with Dr, Fatakhov. she took her time to listen and explained my condition and set a game plan in motion to help me find some relief. her bed side manner and tone were kind the staff was friendly and the wait time was excellent, convenient office right by the train. I recommend her for any of your rehabilitation needs.

Doctors are fine, but the ancillary staff are just so rude, no manner, they do not have an idea what a customer service is. This all reflect to their clinic manager who do not train her staff. We are paying customers, they need to remember that. For years, i have been hoping that something will improve, but it just gets worst. The staff needs serious in-service. Management, pls do something about this. The other side, where cardiology office is, the staff are just the opposite of the primary office. Terrible experience. Arisa

I came for my 1015am appt , to do a follow-up on my asthma. As 1030am approach I started to have a problem with my asthma trouble breathing. I told the desk and they said go out side take your mask off . I did try that but it got worst at 10:49 am I told them I was leaving and went to a Urgent Care that saw me immediately and gave me a treatment. I will never go back there I was treated horrible and no one cared .

Great facility. Good staff. OB-G YN dr. ABRAMS is an amazing and absolutely wonderful doctor. Never felt so lucky with any doctor. She has great personality plus great knowledge of her skills. Had surgery performed by Janet couldn't be more happier; it went smoothly and great, with no side effects what so ever and heeled nicely in very little time. Just love her! Very highly recommend her.

Had a very good experience with cardiology the front desk very nice and helpful nurses very professional doctor made sure my needs were addressed still doing test so far so good way better experience than Long Island Jewish forest hills hospital were they tried to kill me

  • Karielee Barrere

This Hospital needs to be shut down. They are dirty and unkept. Shut this Hospital down. They are greedy and are lying to their patients. They killed my grandmother who had Covid they refused to give her treatment that would have saved her.

Readily available appointments, convenient times / location. You’re seen almost immediately after check-in. The doctors are informative and they take their time with you. The assistants are personable. Very efficient operation overall.

  • Catalina Castillo

Do not WASTE YOUR TIME making appointments here. I got Rescheduled 3 times! When I called I get the weakest excuse of putting me under the follow up slot. When i clearly stated I was a new patient. Zero stars for me

  • Freddie Sanchez

Good doctors, and it's in a convenient location. Mt Sinai overall has proven to be a very positive experience compared to others doctors I've been to in NYC, so I would recommend them.

  • Sanjeev Madan

Totally unprofessional, canceled the appointment last minute and next appointment is after 15days. Very disappointed …

  • MissCindy P.

Useless , called to make an appointment was just told that they can’t make appts for new patients till Jan ?

  • Sampo_with_yumi

Good doctors, but the staffs are unbelievably-disorganized, unprofessional and unfriendly.
