"I asked an employee to check in the backstore if there was something, because the shelf was empty"
"Good and Kind Staff"
"Possibly the worst grocery store experience I've ever had"
"****** Although they do have great deals At times , their veggies & could be much much better !!! It just broke my heart to see such stuff go to wast and so dryer up or you know it will S spire a day after bringing it home ! I hope I see some changes , because the main foods that are so important for our bodies the the ones I can not buy here ! It’s sad indeed!"
"Price: one ride in June’19 was $3"
I asked an employee to check in the backstore if there was something, because the shelf was empty. He said sure no problem wait here (in front of the door to the backstore). I wait and wait and wait. A good 10 minutes. At some point an employee asked me if i was waiting for anything. I explained to him and he said that the other employee is not in the backstore. So it turns out he just came out from another door that leads out of the backstore or something and just left me standing there like an idiot!! I went to confront him and he said they dont have the item. I said "well couldnt you have told me about it?!?? You just let me stand out there for 10 minutes???" I worked in supermarkets when i was younger and there is absolutely no excuse for this and it's unacceptable. I should have taken his name and gotten him fired. How inconsiderate do you have to be to do that to a customer??!
Good and Kind Staff. Very patient with me as I was the last to leave the store (as I waited for my Uber driver to arrive), even though it was already past the closing hour of 10pm, they not only allowed me to waited inside (to avoid the bitter cold outside), they even provided me with a large trolly to bring my many bags of groceries outside (as I shopped in bulk almost 3 weeks worth of food and groceries). So, well done to all of the kind and very polite staff that night who served and helped me.
Possibly the worst grocery store experience I've ever had. Lackadaisical staff and poor management permeates this unkempt business that borderlines on unsanitary. Long lines and slow checkers is the norm, and though the management is rude and unhelpful, the checkers are friendly and do their best. Over the years, I've gotten used to the poor service in Canada, but Quebec seems to bring it to an entirely new level. Yikes!

Price: one ride in June’19 was $3.25, works for 120 minutes, for metro and bus. So you can ride few stations on metro, then catch a bus. But you can’t go out on the street and then enter the station again. Tickets for more rides usually cheaper. Day ticket costs $9. Buying process is easy, credit cards accepted. Navigation is easy.
The staff is good, the place is clean l, but the prices are not always great. You need to follow the specials to get the good deals like in all metro, IGA, lowblaw... Compared to most Metro, this one is on the smaller side but they do have a small deli with cold cuts. Overall not a bad place to shop and friendly staff
Clean, fresh produce, great staff and a good variety of cheese, as well as meats and fish (compared to other supermarkets). But, it is pricey. The place is a little small, so it does get tight to move around sometimes. There might be lineups, but usually moves really fast !
Clean, not too crowded. Staff is always super nice! They just lack a bit in more in the "international" department. Only a handful of very "americanized asian" sauces and noodles, and the latino is pretty much 100% old el paso. Otherwise a great neighborhood grocery store!
Hope this is the correct Metro! I have never been as I’m located in the United States but, I just read an article on little 3 y/o birthday party! How awesome! Please teach America how to be genuine! Literally in tears Thank you for making his day!
Staff is super friendly, good selection considering it's smack dab in the middle of Montreal's filthiest ghetto. It does take about 10min on average to pass at the cash, often employees are just talking instead of passing customers.
Felt like I was going to be assaulted by store employees became aggressive when I did not want to take a shopping cart to purchase one item at the front. Worst grocery store experience I've ever had. I will never return.
Missing larger sizes of certain things such as rice, but that is a minuscule issue, and the only one ive had to find. Its clean, its simple, its a supermarket. Google asked to do an update so here it is. Its the same.
They have quality products but the store itself is very hard to access, the lot was not plowed making it difficult to get in. It's not wheelchair friendly and there is no way to bring the cart to your car afterwards.
It's bigger than the metro Bigras close to my previous home but it lacks in variety, specially vegetarian and vegan options. I occasionally go there in hopes to find something just to realize they don't have it
Was disappointed that there cat food was not stocked up ! Stopped by again last week and again cat food was not well stocked ! Lots of customers but never enough cashiers and the one's they have a very slow !
Great supermarket, love this place because I keep going there with the woman of my life. She makes that place even better than its already is. Give me food and a great woman and you'll have a happy man !
This supermarket brings WW2 nostalgies as it seems that every type of food is rationed there. No variety whatsoever. Small, cramped... Also do yourself a favor and stay away from the meats section.
Always missing products , especially if the products are on sales. =/ This metro is really not great, go to Super C instead you will get a better selection for cheaper and its only 5min away
It's small, yet strategically nestled on Rue Ontario. I can get out of my flat, hop on the 125 bus, get off at Metro, complete my shopping, and take the same bus back. So convenient!
I never thought I'd get so many dirty looks from grocery store employees until I came here. The produce here is disappointing, much like the attitude you'll get from the staff.
Very expensive compared to other Metro stores but it is in an impoverished area so it has a captive clientele so people have to go to the store they can walk or bus to.
Shittiest service of the year. Super long to get service and got skipped by a person buying cigarettes. That person can wait in line like I did just for creme.
It's a bit sad metro if you compare it to the metro a saint Catherine. But. It still has everything you should expect from a generic grocery store like Metro.
That's a Metro supermarket, it sells the same goods as any Metro, you won't get lost. However it's a bit more pricey than super C, which is not very far.
One of the worst Metro I've ever been. It's dark and not very clean. Also, they are part of FoodHero program but don't do a good job serving the clients.
The management is really kind and they do a great job. They're always happy to help. I have a new service dog puppy and management was super welcoming.
The presence of a public transportation management company in Montreal greatly facilitates route planning as well as integrated tariff integration.
Fresh food available here with a great selection of alcohol and beer. Service was good and didnt have to wait for a long time to pay for your items
Good selections, love the cold cut section, has organic selection and gluten free selection. Friendly staff and easily accessable
Need some restore and to be more like other great metro. The grocery feels apart of the metro we can find on the morgan street!
Pretty good grocery store, it's metro so the prices are okay on most items, pretty friendly staff, pretty good layout
Pretty ok sometimes products on special are'nt available. Nice people at the cash reg.delivery guys are great people.
The most ghetto Metro grocery store I have ever been into but what to do when you're hungry you shop anywhere LOL
Always dirty and smelly. I went twice to buy water and soft drinks. Would never go there for produce or meat.
The staff is nice. But there is a lot of products missing compared to other Metro’s grocery’s stores.
The spot is so good to do cross shopping. There is a butcher and a sausage guy close. So fun
Friendly service. Selection is limited as it is a rether small Metro and prices can be high.
The butchers are not always clean and good. Better just go to the SuperC two minutes away.
Conveniently located however this store has not been renovated or updated since the 1980s.
Nice metro. They have a good selection of beers and obviously a great selection of food.
Nice store, but the homeless contingent around the entrance make it a bit intimidating
The place is pretty ugly. Couldnt find any decent beer there. Depressing supermarket.
Selection is limited. Not enough quality product. Prices are high without quality.
A bit expensive but ehh it's a metro, at least their inventory isn't bad.
A few vegan available item. Staff is really nice! Overall a good store!
Nice, clean and well organized. Well located with a huge parking lot.
Hard to get to with all the road construction. Decent grocery store.
A lot less variety than the other 2 locations I went to in Montreal
Smaller than other Metros, but you find what you're looking for.
Small supermarket with good selection of fresh and frozen foods.
Good location. Very polite and curtious staff. Often visit.
Always a lineup, max 2 cashiers at a time. Cmon guys …
Not a great selection of products, but it's close to home.
Nice a little pricey, and seems nobody understands English
Ok prices for a Metro, lots of beers, employees are nice.
Prices are a little high and there could be more variety
Dosent have everything you expect from a metro. It okay.
Metro definitely a class apart when it comes to grocers
Great place to shop within walking distance of my home.
Very clean, on Thursday and Sunday there is restock
Ok staff made me laugh with a joke made my day
Very expensive. Not a lot of ethbic selection.
Always treated with maximum respect & dignity
Over priced, small and not a great selection.
They are super clean and have great specials
Can find more stuff than in other groceries
Mostly French... Lacking some beer variety
Has everything you need but is a bit small
Good beer and vegan gluten free selection
Produce is always messy and understocked.
Great choice of fresh and local products
Too often out of stock on some products.
Friendly staff, well organised aisles.
A bit small but the essential is there
Easy to get in and out, friendly staff
Good and a desent type of every thing
This location sells expired goods
A bit small but great selection.
Good place to buy daily grocery
Fresh food and lots of pastries
Always waiting line.... …
Good selection. Sketchy area.
Regular Metro grocery store.
Large clean well stocked.
Need clean floor dirty
Good deals nice place
