I actually liked this place until they started telling lies. I had a membership at one of their other casinos, Empire, which I used to enter this casino, I showed them my ID and all was fine. I entered the casino and played there many times, very rarely won and lost about £20,000 overall in a three month period. No problem, I never got angry, never abused anyone and was always courteous. One day I was entering with a friend who was also a member and was told I couldn’t come in. Apparently I had three memberships! Two previously at this venue and the one from Empire... the trouble is, I had never been to this casino before using my Empire membership! I didn’t even know where it was! I wrote to them and challanged them to produce evidence of these make believe memberships! I had only ever had one membership at Empire as well, by the way. So after a week of no response by email, I called and was told the manager would review the situation. I pointed out in my email that every membership at every casino would require photographs to be taken of the customer upon joining so they would have to have photos of me when I allegedly joined on these two previous occasions. This manager who was supposed to call me back didn’t, so I called back again and was told he had reviewed it and I was still not allowed in and I had one other previous membership. A couple of weeks later I was emailed by someone claiming to be the manager who said he would refer my case to head office. I’m still awaiting a response but clearly this is no way to conduct business. If I had one or two or even fifty previous memberships and wasn’t allowed in, I should have been refused entry the first time or maybe the second time but not the umpteenth time having lost so much money! Since I have been so poorly dealt with, I feel 1 star is 1 too many for this establishment. I’m happy to give it a re-review when they stop with the lies and resolve the matter fairly. Update 08/02/2019: Despite the response below, no further contact whatsoever has been made. I will be taking my case to the Gambling Commission and, if necessary, court. Update 20/02/2019: My case is being reviewed by someone from head office now, has been a few days... Update 23/03/2019 A very obnoxious man by the name of Viv Ross has written back to me claiming that I had previous memberships at other casinos in 2007, that I had been nationally banned then and that this information all came to light at the end of 2017 when the casinos merged information!!! So basically it took 10 years for them to get told something which there is no information about, it’s all a big London Clubs secret and it just happened to all go on The Sportsman casino’s systems over 10 years later! Hilarious. If anyone wants to read the utter nonsense this man has written to me, please reply to this post! I certainly won’t be changing my rating of this joke of a casino, that’s for sure.

Absolutely awful. They let their regulars ruin the experience by constantly favouring them over silly issues. No one made me feel welcome despite my efforts to be courteous and polite. Manners don’t cost anything. If you enjoy being pushed around, ignored and dictated to, this is your dream venue! To the owner, I don’t want to be in touch with you. Your staff are only polite with the regulars and I have read more than enough awful reviews of this casino to assure myself that I was right to leave when I did and right to decide never to return. I will be very surprised if any self respecting person gives this place a good review in the future.

I was visiting the casino with my partner and one my friend. I gave a kiss to my girlfriend when a guy (PR manager) came to our table to tell us not to do this because is disrespectful... Never had that bad experience before at any casino...as a European person in an European country have a right to kiss my girlfriend wherever i wish to.This is against the human rights! Definitely not coming back here anymore!!

Won’t accept anyone with shorts on in the middle of summer, I work in casino marketing and some of my best players have shorts or sweats on. Never judge a book by its cover! I was ready to lose over a thousand dollars in this casino tonight but was turned away at the door. Oh well guess my money is no good there. Apparently only people with jeans on lose money.

Stopped there for a quick bite to eat while around Marble Arch, my girlfriend and I wanted somewhere relaxed. The food was amazing, the staff were all wonderful and super helpful. A big thank you to the manager on duty, you and your wonderful staff made our day! Beautiful place, will definitely return!

Went there mainly for a meal but couldn't watch several people literally burning thousands of pounds when there are homeless people sleeping in the rain outside. Tables have a £5 minimum bet which is a bit much if you're not into big gambling. Food was really good with excellent service.

Stopped by for a quick bite after shopping - really impressed by the hospitality of everyone! Great food, great portions and the soup of the day (broccoli) was delicious - the little breads it came with too - sadly I was famished and didn’t photograph those! Brilliant service overall!

Had a meal downstairs before gambling, restaurant staff are all so friendly and helpful. Lovely meal and quite big portions, we struggled to eat 3 courses. Croupiers upstairs in casino seemed genuinely friendly and helpful. Sorry, no photos, can't take photos in a casino.

Great drinks, bartender was teaching me how to flair.. on top of that I accidentally left my key's here and they found them as soon as I called and gave them to security with my name on the envelope so I could collect 24/7 great place and very trustworthy

The staff are lovely at reception, the bar, the cash desk and they always hold the door open for me when I take my coffee outside to the smoking tables. But.....I feel the slot machines could have fairer pay outs. I wasn't born yesterday. I

My husband and I are regulars here. The food is always fresh, tasty, presented in a lovely way. The staff were brilliant, professional and always make us feel very special. There was no rushing from them, very courteous. The food is amazing

This is good for people who like to go on gaming or wining I use to go with frainds in 90s for social outing the food was good. As my oldest day memories I visited occasionally that it is not the same but I still visit occasionally

Nice and quiet casino. the receptionist makes you feel welcome, 3 stars only because as soon as you enter you are completely ignored, I didn't see any waiters or slot host at all.

A quiet relaxing casino..downstairs at the basement..it's restaurant and slots machines area..I love these machines they are very quiet...mostly older people comes here..
