I recently visited the casino and had an incredibly unpleasant encounter with one of the employees named Dergham. I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others who may consider visiting this establishment. His demeanor was disrespectful and rude. He seemed to have a complete lack of understanding about how to treat guests with respect and professionalism. Instead of providing helpful guidance, he appeared to go out of his way to create problems and make the experience uncomfortable. Throughout my interaction with Dergham, it became evident that he lacked the necessary customer service skills. His behavior was unacceptable, and it greatly diminished the overall enjoyment of my time at the casino. As a guest, I expect to be treated with courtesy and kindness, but Dergham failed to meet even the most basic expectations. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional conduct from an employee who represents the casino. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate action to address this issue and ensures that all guests are treated with the respect they deserve. I strongly advise potential visitors to be cautious when dealing with Dergham. His rude and disrespectful behavior creates a negative atmosphere that undermines the overall experience at the casino. It is my sincere hope that the casino management takes this feedback seriously and takes appropriate steps to rectify the situation.
I want to give negative stars but site made me give 1 to post. Easily the worst experience I have ever had a casino two nights in a row. I tried to give it a second chance and I wish I didn’t. The workers / bartenders just let these guys run the place wild! My friend and I were waiting patiently to be served a drink. Bartender saw us said I got you next. He comes to take our order these 3 guys scream hey I need this literally over my head and he serves them first. I said what was that and he goes, I didn’t see you. Lie Forget the Roulette table. The pit bosses let these guys run wild and jump over you to place bets. The words no more bets means nothing in this dump! I went up to pit boss and said you just let these rude guys get away with this. He says it’s roulette and that’s how it goes. No it doesn’t, You should control your tables and not have anyone jumping over you to place bets . Very unprofessional and he didn’t care one bit when I placed my displeasure. It basically felt like they have their own “gang” of guys who go all the time and bet a lot so they get to do whatever they want almost like the old Wild Wild West! The customers visiting London get no courtesy. I highly recommend if visiting London don’t go here! If you live in London then iam not sure why you would ever go here unless you like rude unprofessional staff and guys who think they own the place!
I ve been another Grosvenor branches in London and i never win in any Grosvenor casinos UK. Foods are delicious. Great atmosphere for a town, but as usual Grosvenor's slots does not pay out more than £230 unfortunately. I ve been more than 30 different casinos all around world( Las Vegas, Monte Carlo, Cyprus, most Central and Eastern as well as Western European casinos) Grosvenor Casino's slots are very very tight with giving money. I don't advise you to play with slots. The Cashiers are too slow. You could probably wait 5-10 mins in the queue. I think the Most British casinos do not pay out sensible money or jackpot. They know very very well how to make/earn more money. According to my calculations chance/winning factor is less than 1,5% here! For live games such as BJ, Roulette i could say a bit higher, but not fair enough.I feel like that the casino just focussed on making money without giving any sensible money/award/jackpot its customers (whatever you say). It s more less than most central and Eastern Europe's casinos, Las Vegas as well. 1 star is for atmosphere and the another one is for the foods.
Horrible experience!! I played poker for a week and all seemed good, however, upon asking to buy chips on my debit card, I was accused of money laundering and asked to leave. I tried to explain that I had just arrived back in the UK and was using my savings to play, but they were adamant that they would not allow me to top up after I had lost most of my stack. I was not even allowed to retrieve my remaining chips that I left on the table. I suspect that they have a heap of house players and didnt like the competition from an outsider. It's a shame because the games are extremely soft and I had an overall good week. To round off my review, the food is awful as is the service and most of the players and staffs attitude. Very hostile and clicky. I also saw a fair bit of cheating amongst some of the players, who were adding chips to there stacks, taking them above the starting limit. Stay away!
One of the best place to play poker as they offer a huge selection of stakes from minimum of 1£-2£ to up to 25£-50£ at sometimes, All games available at this casino from BJ, roulette, poker, baccarat and many slots games Still one of the best place in London to play poker, Dealers and some managers are very nice, There a lady manager in there which I think she's very rude and need a proper training as she doesn't know she's working in an entrainment place and will always tell the players off and be bossy, Other then that the other managers and dealers are so polite and makes you enjoy your games
Came here last min . Com Very hungry, got served by the lovely waiter extremely friendly, food came out really fast, the waiter recommended the lovely prawn dish… wow just wow …. Lovely seasoned with lots of sauce. Asked for ketchup and Mayo…. He bring them out in a massive dish..: saves me time keep asking for more ketchup and Mayo Drinks are lovely quiet strong so diluted it with hubby’s coke… very cheap and value for money as they don’t charge extra for service …. Very happy with the great fast service and great food and service with a smile. Thanks x Phong Tran
The Grosvenor Victoria Casino, also known as “The Vic”, is one of the busiest and longest established casinos in London. The Vic is known for its Poker Room which hosts a variety of tournaments and cash games daily. Some of the best poker players in Europe have played here. In addition to poker, there is a wide selection of table and electronic games including Blackjack, Punto Banco and Electronic Roulette. The casino has a popular restaurant that serves European and Middle Eastern cuisine and a bar with a comfortable lounge area.
Good atmosphere and professional staff . Be wary of the blackjack tables as its statistically impossible for the cards dealt to be as bad as they are. It seems when it's quiet and revenue is poor the CSM machines are definitely rigged through the software. Someone needs to have the place investigated thoroughly. As for gambling where odds are already in favour of the house. Manipulating software makes for an unfair game and spoils the reputation of the brand.
I met my date at the bar in the casino because all other places were closed, it was a Sunday and I am from Tokyo (many places open until 5am next morning). It was a nice casino experience, although we were at the bar the whole time. I remember the place was a bit cold in the winter time and I almost got kicked out because I was taking selfies. All became precious memories, and I would definitely like to visit again if I ever go back to visit the city.
I'm regular customer in the casino for more than 4 years because I live 2 min from... And my opinion is is good place atmosphere space to smoke.. is ok the only point is that i never had any bonus rewards....nothing. some times i lose more than 1000£ but they don't have that option i think and the card is only for entrance so my recommendation is good and clean you can drink something fantastic staff. Just don't expect nothing ( welcome bonus or ....)
Food is pretty dismal. Loads of machines all over the place. Some of the live games have been killed off by management, such as Punto Banco. On the up side, the staff do their best to do what they can. Looks like decisions from up above are made without much thought. They are recruiting new staff into the poker room. For beginners, they're actually pretty good. Maybe the situation can improve. They just all need to be paid a half decent wage.
Visiting London and popped into The Vic to get my poker fix. Had a few nice evenings (it's open 24 hrs for the night owls) Great dealers, a good mix of players, it's a little bit and miss with the atmosphere, not as lively as other poker rooms.. I look forward to hitting the felt there again soon. One small criticism is that it's hard to find the tournament schedule on the website.. but that's very minor.. mostly cash tables.
i have been a few times and the amount of fights i have seen due to the fact that they dont have a dress code and anyone can go in its not one of the top London casino as you would require membership for them. On one of the black jack tables the dealer forgot to pay me when i won and treated me as i was a thief after they checked the cameras which took an hour they finally paid me. One of the worst casino's in london a shame.
One of the most well known Casino. Sure looks very different with the separators at the tables. We went to the 2nd floor loft to watch the Ukraine and Sweden match, with shisha and everything. Food is quite reasonable. Taste is alright, I wouldn't say great. Server was really good at their job and getting all orders right and in good service time. Drinks were really good. Whoever was at the bar, knew their job well. Thanks.
Very long ques to play, staff misinform clients usually, poor service, some questionable players on the tables teaming up... I would avoid this place unless you are happy to wait for hours to be seated to be served bad quality drinks/food (again with long delays)... Besides, never trust their callcenter about activities, they misinform you... This casino is only for local regulars who know their way around there...
First time I have seen the Grosvenor dealer cheating people. I have overall great experience but due to one incident I am given one star. On one table they had changed minimum bet to £5 then I started playing outside but kept loosing. Once I won then dealer returned my £5 chips and said minimum is £25 outside. This was disgusting experience and they cheated many people like this on the table on 18/12.
Not a bad website. Wouldnt use again however for two reasons. 1) didnt win anything with my own money, but the moment I started using the bonus money (which you can never withdraw the winnings from if you dont make a small fortune) you suddenly start winning big money, but of course its not real. and 2) A error message appeared 8 times during play, and to keep logging back in was really tedious!
Vast array of tables, slots and roulette machines, enjoy poker on the second floor and a deck for shisha. Enjoy Water and coffee self service at no charge, and enjoy food and beverages at the bar. Also if there's a game you don't know how to play, rest assure the beautiful women are more than just pretty faces dealing cards, they will explain how to play xx. Underground Parking availble, free.
Probably the best card/poker room in London. Tons of tables, great services from massages to table food and the dealers are quite efficient. Would definitely go here to get the most out of the hour if you go early enough. Getting a seat after 11pm is quite difficult, couldn't get a seat change during that time. I only stepped in to the Hippodrome, but the Vic definitely has a better card room
Winner winner, chicken dinner! Can't miss this if you're out and about on Edgware road. Need registration or Grosvenor card to enter. Spacious first floor for Blackjack, Roulette etc and a separate floor for Poker. Absolute quality ambience but as with all casinos, you rarely get out of them with your wallet still in positive. Used to offer free cold drinks but not anymore.
I'd never been in a casino before! Would be good if they had teaching tables as I didn't have a clue what I was doing and there were some die hard gamblers at the craps table that I don't think appreciated my newbie status, but I didn't care I was having fun and they seemed like it was the end of the world. Good night out but could end up expensive!!
It is an amazing place for a night out especially for gamblers.Parking is free ..it has one restaurant and two coffee shops and two bars..There is a large poker room at the second floor where cash games and poker tournaments are held all days of the week. Very enjoyable place for adults highly recommended...Don't forget to gamble sensibly :)
You expect more from a London casino. Has all the usual stuff and lockers to hold your things. Receptionists were great but I didn't get any waiting service in the 3 hours and however much I spent there. Staff didnt seem to want you at their table. Overall it did the job but wasn't a great experience. Seen better from you Grosvenor!
This venue of entertainment is very congested and the staff are very rude and disrespectful. Being polite to your visitors should be their first priority if they want to increase popularity. Well if this was a talent show -1. ( security personnel at the front make you feel welcome and make the casino proud of it's name)
Won’t accept anyone with shorts on in the middle of summer, I work in casino marketing and some of my best players have shorts or sweats on. Never judge a book by its cover! I was ready to lose over a thousand dollars in this casino tonight but was turned away at the door. Oh well guess my money is no good there.
Is one of the biggest casino in London after aspers (in Westfield). You can find every kind of game and highly qualified staff here. Women dealers are elegantly dressed up with black cocktail dresses. Nice atmosphere and wide choice of food and drink (also pretty cheap). Costumers mainly from Arabic countries.
The Vic as mostly been good to me as I stick to Poker upstairs rather than losing money in the actual casino. Good food and drink. Players range in quality and standard. Some are absolutely horrendous, some are very shrewd and run up a lot of hours in there so are experienced with their calls and folds.
One staff member on reception, huge queue. Then when visiting the bar I had to wait 15 minutes to be served. Once a staff member arrived I asked him for a drink and then had to point him towards the correct pump, as he was walking around like a headless chicken. Can't say I was impressed to be honest.
Good quality casino with variety of livr table games. Poker saloon is one of the most crowded i ve seen in london. They serve good ginger lemon tea with honey and in the smoking area you can have shisha which is one of the best in edgeware road. must go place to have fun and win money if you are lucky
staff are always polite and always a pleasure to go to and enjoyed meals on a number of occasions however food has gone down hill ....food ordered was not very nice at all maybe the chef has changed but will not eat here again 3 stars given due to bad food.... but always up for a gamble
Finish poker trnmt 10 of 81. Won my money back lol. Only the chipraces cost a lot of time. Gosnevor can somewhat improve with for example buttonante and give standard a 500 chip for 1 to 5 chips of 100. Save lot of time. Some dealers are funny and some dealers are quite bad shape
Really enjoyed playing craps here. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful in explaining now craps works as I was playing for the first time. I think the decor could be improved and the food options were quite fatty and mainly fried. Very busy, mainly men.
This is like the holy grail for me poker wise. The casino is buzzing 24/7 which is nuts. Only ever see that in Vegas. My only dislikes are the soft drinks aren't free like the rest of the Grosvenors around the country and no player points are accrued when playing cash games.
it's becoming like a coffee shop for some people , they don't play just come to eat free sandwiches and beg for some money from punters , added to that they keep around the tables to shout some numbers and distract the punters attention. I would recommend Barracuda instead.
Just as the other reviews say…we needed a membership for the poker room. Avoid the roulette tables we found it unpleasant and not run properly. They've got a few slot machines which is fine. Overall, we had a really good time, nice atmosphere. Just know when to stop!
Strongly advised to not to go to this place as I. The roulette the machines are being electronically controlled by the computers. If u place in 35 out 36 number, u have 1% chances of wining while betting on 35 bets and leave just 1 bet. It’s all scam and fraudulent
Its ok nothing amazing. Get very busy on the weekends though and not alot of space especially on the first floor. No more free sandwiches as before and roulette machines outdated. Toilets are usually clean and staff are freindly. All in all an not good and not bad
Friendly and welcoming, many were sorry to hear of the passing of my father. I was touched by their genuine sorrow, especially AK in the poker room and the barman. Happily I left not only the richer financially but also in respect for the Victoria Casino staff.
I arrived here late on my last day here for a year. The barkeep said that I could get a cocktail. I ordered one and was told that it was too late. I mentioned that the dealer said that it was okay and the floor came by and basically kicked me out of the casino.
Poker room was great the staff was professional & really friendly. The players were a mixed bag of skill levels. Only complaint I could make is that they charge players for drinks. Alcohol is understandable but bottled water and soda should be complimentary.
Nice three story casino with the big entrance on the side of the main street, almost walked past there. Walked around all areas on all floors, didn't have the lively atmosphere I've experiences at other casinos; however, it serves your betting needs.
I would probably avoid the slots. The have a win rate of 94.5% and you will find better online. I remember when bonus games used to be common here, but you rarely see people anyone get on one. I gave it 2 before the casino itself is lovely inside.
Be advised they don’t allow any bags into the casino - no fanny packed, no ladies purses, nothing. I went to play poker and left when advised. Didn’t want to carry around my battery pack, headphones, tablet, wallet all in my hands. Weird casino.
very nice and comfortable casino.......used to enjoy Diwali function after playing the games,,,,,you loose some times and some times you win,,,,but it the joy that counts,,,,,,,,though haven't been invited since last two years. why no idea
The best place to play quality poker games with the best players in the field. Good services, free parking for the customers. The food quality has plenty room for improvement, but overall a great place to play competitive poker games.
Not a particularly great casino but it is more than adequate. Staff are always wonderful and they do make you feel welcome whilst they take your money. Especially good if you like playing puke due to the big room upstairs.
Exactly what it says on the tin. Largest poker room in London with the best range of games. I don't like the way you have to pay for soft drinks, most other casinos offer these as complimentary. The waitresses can be moody
casino games include craps , Punto Banco , Blackjack , 3 card poker , roulettes etc , 2 floors of gaming area and a cardroom active 24/7 , bars , restaurant and smoking area . Good night out for fun or serious gamers
Nice atmosphere with loads of things to play. Numerous roulette tables, poker and other games. Had great beginners luck here Free underground parking available and nice chill out place in the loft
Very large casino with multiple floors, tons of options in regards to what you want to play whether its slots, poker, dice etc. Multiple bars and an outside smoking terrace in addition to a shisha bar.
Cody he is amazing slot technician really make customers at ease very patient and explain games process . He really is helpful i wish he is on everytime i am playing because he is very easy to talk to
As casinos go, this is one of the best in London, especially for poker players. Huge poker room, allowing for regular tournaments and plenty of cash game tables to suit all size gambling habits.
Great casino, great staff. Plenty of table games, slots and a big card room on the upper floor. Restaurant meals were very tasty. Worth a visit. 5 min walk from Edgeware tube or Marble Arch.
That is my favourite casino. I am not a gambler at all, visiting always as a company. Been in many casinos in London and none of them have such an amazing team. Always polite and helpful
Ive been playing poker here for over 30 yrs ive always liked the Vic but i preferred it when you didnt have to pay for a coffee and a sandwich also years ago we got a free breakfast.
Fantastic poker action, with loads of NLHE and PLO tables. The waitlisting system is efficient and fair. The food is delicious, albeit sometimes overseasoned. I'll be back.
Must comment on our visit to your casino. Fantastic. Felt like a movie star, every thing was so smooth and professional. Looking forward to our next visit. R. Lynch B,Ham
I like the recent makeover ...it is far more comfortable especially the slots machines zone..no more people standing behind you watching....thumb up...see u later...
The restaurant staff were friendly and very helpful with vegan choices, and there was a selection of plant based dishes on the menu. Good value and tasty. Thank you
Second only to Coventry Ricoh arena which IMHO is the best G casino in the UK this is very spacious and offers a wide range of games and also a vibrant poker scene.
The casino is ok but the surrounding area is awful and dodgy. Not exactly what I expected from one of the most famous London casinos. Hippodrome is waaaay better!
Can’t believe they charge for coffee at the tables. The place is too greedy. The staff however for the most part in the poker room are friendly and competent
An excellent place for poker players. A good bunch of players at the table and excellent dealers. Would definitely go back the next time I'm in the country.
Thanks for your services and great staff here All welcome pleasant atmosphere and nice seating area, well recommended to all who visits this establishment.
I liked and enjoyed playing the slots good customer service good staff very humble and friendly staff also speaking Arabic so happy and enjoyed the place
Specious lovely staff at London Victoria Tibi is one of the staff member was friendly and helpful with the slots machine Will definitely give other visit
Small casino I played poker and the game was slow because the dealer used a calculator to determine the rake on each hand. $1/2 buy in cap is 500 pounds.
Not bad, it was my first time there, there are different rules to European casinos buy staff are very helpful and friendly. Just as were other players.
Came here to play poker one evening. Tournament had good structure. Cash tables were friendly. Staff was helpful and attentive. Food was just ok.
One of the best places around Marble Arch to have fun and the staff are amazing (Alex) dealing with slot machine his always there to help out
Heaven.. Was made very welcome by staff and players at the poker tables. Didn't bump into Victoria Coren unfortunately though …
Great atmosphere, very professional and trained staff. Ordered fresh catch of day and lamb shish. Value for money and excellent experience .
Good atmosphere. Customer service first-class and interesting to see SO many people there. Underground parking (free) is definitely a boon.
Good time pass however you need to have luck sitting beside you in order to win. You can have sheesha here, drinks and food is all good
1st time I've been since it's been refurbed, place looked great! Nice and spacious, with a great feel to the place. Friendly staff too.
A great casino that has really friendly staff who make sure you are looked after. The choice of food and drink is exceptional too.
Always great service! Waitresses can be a bit slow and not attentive at times but it’s a great place. Remember to tip if you win
This was ok but not great. Didn't feel very welcome and the atmosphere was a little weird (went before the pandemic in January).
Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is delicious and service fantastic. Really enjoyable night, would highly recommend.
Very good place to chill with friends and play. There's loads of gaming machine to choose from. With free snacks and drinks.
An excellent spot to chill, offering top-notch customer service with a friendly and accommodating staff! Highly recommended.
while hippodrome hiked their bets up to minimum 50 on color or sector, grosvenor still kept them 25. Good casino, I like it.
Good ambience, suitable atmosphere and well-mannered place to throw your Dices for the ultimate Jackpot.... …
Really good place, no more complimentary food/drinks as it use to, on the plus side cash machines are now free to use.
Always huge waiting list, some funny characters playing, wrong info provided by their staff, not fresh air inside…
Really pleasant experience first time at a casino and had lots of fun the dealers were all professional and kind.
Very clean. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain some of the games. Definitely will go back!
Very clean. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain some of the games. Definitely will go back!
Love this casino and the employees, Coby and Allen are so handsome and polite, always enjoy my time here.
They been so rude with the customers and they still the money to the people and check them out …
Open 24/7. Location is great and inside it’s huge. However, it’s hard to track down anyone for service
Good facilities, staff lacking a bit of training and customer service skills on tables and bar staff.
Restaurant highly Recommended Excellent food and service. I even won on the roulette table!
The worst Casino has ever in London, specially the managers. They are terrible people!!!!
Ahmed, has served me very greatly and here victoria is the best casino .. always winning
It's a casino, it does what a casino does... You ain't going to find religion in here!
Good service provided by Alex electronic gaming host , good food. And friendly stuff.
Lovely staff, friendly and helpful, nice spaces for sitting and large balcony
