I'm a big fan of Specs but not of this location. In general I like Specs selection and their service, but this store is unlike any I've visited. On more than one occasion, I've encountered employees where quite obviously intoxicated and have overheard comments between employees about drinking on the job. Several of the employees do great work and seem to be aware of and displeased with the state of their coworkers and it's pretty easy to tell they're doing all the work, while the rest get drunk. I can't believe Spec's allows this to continue. At the very least it's bad business and at most it's probably a violation of TABC regulations and illegal.

WOW an unbelievable (being yelled at) shopping experience. Was I shopping for a reason? Yes. Did I expect to be yelled at and called "white privilege' ? No.. Lizzie you must calm down and let shoppers have a peaceful enjoyable experience no matter what they BUY... Yes we all know about masks and how to wear them but you don't confront us calling us names while yelling!! Were you drunk? P.S. For those reading this review, The best summer drink I have found is organic vodka mixed and shaken with Ginger beer and organic lime juice. If you buy from SPECS buy from another location than the one on Preston near Sevy's, R & D and Hillstone.

Staff is VERY rude. I walked in looking for minis to take on a trip. The white lady behind the counter had an attitude when i asked for it, she looked me up and down as if I wasn't suppose to be there. And when I asked for the prices of them, you would've thought I disrespected her in some way. I just walked out without saying anything. Please be mindful of who you all have working there, I just moved into the neighborhood and my friends and I would've loved to be ongoing customers being that it's a 2 minute walk from us but we will definitely be taking our money elsewhere.

Went there for some specific items that showed in stock in ther website for that location. First answer I got was "no we do not even carry that brand". Had to show them that they had them in their inventory. Not quite a friendly environment to browse and/or buy stuff (even some of the Customers there were a bit rude) and prices are either the same or more expensive than other liquor stores in the area. Better add 10 minutes to your drive and go to Total Wine or Kindred Spirits.

Parking is fine. Store is fully stocked. But the lady who checks me out (older, white or blond hair) is not friendly and doesn't even try to smile. It's very strange to be helped by someone who acts like you're bothering them when you're paying. I try to avoid this store and only go there when it's last minute. I'd rather spend more time driving and have a pleasant experience in another store. .

A lot of different types of items. Cashier did not know what gold patron was, even though we told where it was right behind him. He started to argue with us, saying they are red, orange and yellow patron. He was going by the color of the box and not the names. We finally just asked him to give us what we wanted, we paid for it, and he was still trying to argue what it was as we left.

I went in here to buy a bottle of liquor as a holiday gift. There seems to be a good selection of spirits and the staff was reasonably helpful but seemed rather tired. I needed gift bags as well. They charge more if you use a credit card and encourage using cash for a discount. I don't know if this is a common practice in liquor stores but it seemed odd.

Small location but one of my favorite Spec's to go to, Staff and Management are A1.. friendly and helpful. They have samples in store as much as they can with really good brands to try. Prices are fair and they are located adjacent to one of the most affluent neighborhoods in Dallas so it's a safe space.

This store is very small, the isles are too narrow consequently difficult to handle the shopping cart and you're afraid you will bump into a shelf and break bottles, due to the lack of space they don't carry many of the products you would find in the other stores.

Ohh yesss, love it. The variety is large, great quality of spirits. Interestingly enough in a corner is the Cigar collection, you will be surprised by what you can find. I hope next time I visit them they can have Rum Barcelo Imperial from the Dominican Republic.

Staff is rude an not helpful at all boxes all over the place while they just follow I around to see if ur stealing . Because am Hispanic I felt unwelcome . At this point I recommend the liquor store. Should had read the reviews before coming …

What a friendly staff member I met the mgr Katie and I inquired about a certain wine box and I offered to buy it but she gave it to me I was beyond thrilled. I'm making a kitchen decoration for my farmhouse style house thank you again for everything

Small location, but have just about everything you need. The lady that assisted us was very helpful! However the guy at the register (older Caucasian man with glasses and name tag flipped over) was not so nice. He doesn’t greet, nor say thank you!

Good friendly service, but not as large as other Spec's locations. Additionally, parking is tight and layout a bit confusing, though it makes sense that they want to watch you going in and out and the current way it's set up makes that easier.

Love Specs. This location seems to have low stock and high prices. We had an issue with the register not ringing up what matched the shelf sign. The manager gave us the price on the shelf sign even though the price on the sign had expired.

Unsafe truck drivers. I put my blinkers on to merge to avoid parked cars in lane and driver sped up almost causing a bigger collision. Then proceeded to shout through the window. Teach your drivers better driving habits …

Crowded, pushy sales people. I was looking for a specific Christmas gift and got cornered in the back by the beer. He was insisting a beer he had met my needs when i knew for a fact it didn't. Had to escape!

Staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. It is a smaller store so call ahead if looking for something rare to see if in stock things like that go quickly. Ask for delivery days if not available.

This location is well stocked and the staff are welcoming. I ended up getting a couple doc swinsons along with multiple other bottles that I cannot get in my state. I will definitely be back.

Last purchase at any Specs. Never try to embarrass your customer especially when your staff can't ring up one single item correctly... There are so many more affordable options in Dallas...

Some of the employees were very nice and helpful but one. I was given very helpful tips on how to save in the store. Would have given more stars if it wasn't for the rude cashier.

Well I must say that this store is amazing. They have all sorts of complimentary items for wine and spirits. Customer service was great and they're very quick at check out.

dont bother with curbside. very disappointed - wasnt even that busy. waited for over 10 minutes and ended up going in. i'll be going elsewhere holiday gifts etc

This was my first time in the store. The staff is very courteous and the store is a lot larger than what it looks like from the outside. It is well stocked

Great prices and even better with Key Club and Cash/debit. Knowledgeable people that can direct you on what to buy given your taste and price points.

Great establishment with a solid selection. The service is generally good, and you also save 5% using cash or a debit card. Sign me up!

The gentlemen that checked me out was very knowledgeable and down to earth. He was humorous and that helps after a long day at work.
