The prices here used to be the most competitive I could find pretty much anywhere in town, but over the past 6 or so months, the average prices have crept up so that you can get better deals at some of the bigger box liquor stores (e.g., Total Wine & Liquor). That's the only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars. Still, the prices are cheaper than grocery stores and other liquor stores nearby, so it's still my favorite local place for convenience & price combined. Also, they do offer regular sales on products, so if you're flexible on what you want, you can get some great deals. Ingress/egress is easy as it's at a stop light intersection, and the parking lot is never totally full. The staff is VERY friendly, and says hi literally every time I come in, though maybe that's a sign I should slow down on the booze:). Selection of everything - beer, wine, liquor, mixers - is huge, and if they don't have what you like, tell them & chances are they'll try to stock it for you.

I love this place and will now be the only establishment I purchase liquor in Dallas. Here is why, service and selection. I am from out of state and live in a state controlled environment so I stopped in to see if they had anything fun I could not find at home. While I was browsing a woman was shopping for a party, she was not a drinker and was “lost” in the store but wanted the basics so her guests could enjoy themselves. The gentleman assisting her gave her wonderful attention and service and suggested a very solid bar cart and did not try and oversell her (ex. you don’t need Jack and Bulleit, you just need one) when I got my turn, we had a good conversation on the liquor I was looking for, he was knowledgeable and gave me wonderful suggestions and I was very happy with my purchases. Even checking out was a great experience with a friendly knowledgeable gentleman. I will be back for sure on my next trip to Dallas. Well done Goody Goody, well done.

Went in a couple of weeks ago. it was about 8:30pm on a Friday night. There was no one in wine area assisting customers. About 8:45pm, I asked the guy at the register for assistance. He said he could not help me , the guy that normally worked in the wine was gone for the day, and rigidly reminded me they were closing in 15 minutes. I asked where a particular type of wine was stored and he pointed me in the right direction. When I got to the register to check out, he asked if I was a part of the Wine Club. I said No, should I join? He then gave me a look and said yes but do it next time. I asked can I add these points to it next time? I was purchasing several bottles. He said no you cannot. Then he checked me out and that was it. I did not feel appreciated, helped or anything. It was more like get the heck out of our store, we want to go home. Oh and I posted this a few weeks ago, and the post strangely disappeared off their website.

These people are such parking nazis. There's several other businesses around the area that are walkable, including a coffee shop next door. When I used to go here I would park, go in an shop at Goody Goody and then go to the coffee shop that is literally just a few steps away before getting back in my car and driving home. The last time I went to go do this, the security guard in the parking lot was very rude and started yelling at me. Even though I had bought stuff from Goody Goody and had shopping bags in my hands. I told him I was walking over to LaLa Land to pick up an order. He seriously told me that I would have to get in my car and drive next door to the coffee shop to go pick up my order. We're talking about like TEN FEET. This was the most rude and frustrating experience I have ever had with a business in Dallas. I refuse to return here and I warn everyone I know not to shop here either.

Not just the best liqour store in the downtown/uptown area it's quite possibly one of the best in the entire Dallas Metro. Huge selections as far as the eye can see. Are there places with more beer? Yes. Places in Dallas with better wine selection? Oh god yes. That said this place still has everything you'd want. My #1 reason for loving Goody Goody though are their prices. You will be hard pressed to find cheaper stores in town. Everytime I go to other liquor stores I legit am doing comparisons to GG's in my head. This place almost always wins out. Considering it calls ritzy uptown home this is a good thing. The employees are a mixed bag tbh. They all have a no-nonsense attitude that sometimes comes off as stiff, or even rude, but I have a feeling it's all in the training. Great selection & great pricing win out.

Going downhill ! Drove 15 miles to this location to purchase three bottles of different liquors for the holidays. They were out of everything advertised "on sale" that I was looking for. This appears to be the new norm at this location and the white rock store. I've always shopped at goody goody. I've always liked goody goody I'm going to head to the Greenville location where they have 23 bottles of one and two of another. The buyers need to do a better job keeping the store stocked with promotional items. Last note: shelve tags or bottle locations are out of control. Misplaced in wrong locations, miss-priced. Very unhappy loyal customer.

They have three months advance notice to pull a large order of beer and liquor for my wedding. They failed to return my emails on several occasions, failed to give me a total or estimate of the total price, and failed to return my phone calls in a timely manner. All said and done, they did not have the order ready the day before my wedding as I requested. Even though I had multiple emails and conversations with them. In the end, I want to Total Wine who set me up in less than 30 minutes. Do yourself a favor and go to one of their competitors. I will never step foot in another of their stores again.

The taster lady asked every person that was in line if they wanted to sample some scotch. When it was our turn to go checkout she never asked us anything. When asked why she didn't offer us any she stated that she doesnt ask every single person that walks by but clearly she did. We even stood there for a couple of minutes to watch how to treated everyone else. She Just chose not to offer the black people any. Only after we confronted her did she ask if we wanted to try it. This was a horrible experience and should have never happened.

I love going to this store! Their selection is massive, their prices are pretty good (especially considering it's practically in Uptown), and the staff members are always so nice and helpful. I've been going here for a few years now. Hell, I still prefer this store even though I've moved a fair distance away. I just add it to the list of stores I visit anytime I'm in Dallas. I couldn't recommend it enough. My wife also likes it; their wine section is sprawling and well varied. It seems like half the square footage is just for wine!

The selection of wine was really wonderful, however the prices were so-so to more expensive on all wines. Perhaps that's because of the neighborhood, but the bottles that I regularly use as price comparison were all over priced. Bottles normally at $9.99 were at $12-13. Black Box reds ran $22 (regular 18-21). The bottles marked for savings were only on sale with a 6 bottle volume discount. I may stop in if I was in the area again (due to selection) but wouldn't feel compelled to seek it out due to price.

Went here for the first time after getting paid in a settlement from my lawyers at Thompson Law (which is conveniently next door) & wanting to celebrate after. The staff is possibly the nicest group of people I’ve ever met in a retail store. They’re like the Chick-fil-A or In & Out Burger of liquor stores. Selection is biggest I’ve seen - outside of Total Wine - & prices are good. Welcome to friendly booze heaven...every piece of your being will love this place, except maybe your liver:)

I've been a customer for years. Only recently have I begun requesting bottles and help finding particulars. Lilly has been the twinkle in my eye. No matter the request or search, if there is a way , Lilly has shown initiative to make it happen. How Lilly is not managing her own store is beyond me. I recognize talent and skill when I see it. Not only is she a great human being but, only because of this individual will I continue being a return customer to this location. Thank you, Lilly.

I have never experienced such disrespect from a group employees in my life....i have been going here for few years but today was my last day they black lady with with blonde here got me kicked out form my husband not showing his ID when i was the one paying it i was the one handed her the bottle and we both are bottle club members..smh booo losers dont waste your time all of them disrespectful........dont even deserve a star cant post without one

Great selection and service! I was searching for a local DFW liquor store that carried several unique liquor bottles and the Oak Lawn Goody Goody carried almost all of them (which I identified thanks to their handy online inventory tool). As a bonus, they offered to order the ones they didn't have in stock and they arrived the next day! Thanks to Jose and the staff for providing a stellar customer service experience!

This was my choice liquor store for over 6 years. The cognac selection is impeccable. The prices, outstanding. Let me tell you, there were even times they didn't realize what they had and I capitalized on them. Or maybe they did know, and just wanted to introduce the products...either way, I surely miss their selection and prices. Hands down DFW's Goody Goody liquor stores are far more superior to Atlanta's Tower.

People there very friendly yall! They greet you with warm, hospitable smiles at the door, eager to assist you to get you you what you want & are very accommodating!...and they have EVERTHING‼️ Customer service is very impressive & visiting from Los Angeles, I feel very welcomed! Southern hospitality is exemplified here & I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Uptown Dallas area!

Great liquor store right off of McKinney and Lemmon. I expected the prices to be high since it was in uptown, but they had a great selection and great prices. The place is clean and we'll lit. The staff was friendly too. The only drawback would be that parking was very tight..... But I guess that you shoukd expect that everywhere in uptown. Highly recommend as a one-stop-shop.

The staff here is great and always helpful. Sometimes when you go, they even have someone doing free tastings. I like that because I might discover a new drink that I'd normally wouldn't buy. I love their wine selection and like the fact that it's separated by region and type. I'm going to a wine party in a few weeks so might have to stop by and pick up a bottle or two.

Security guard is very rude and aggressive I was kicked out because I was still making up my mind on picking liquor I instead went to another goody liquor where they treated me better and ask if I needed help and were patient with me I spent $1000+ on 40 bottles of different varieties liquor. Don't come to this goody unless you want to be push around by a bully

My wife and I visit this store once a week, and we find every employee happy to be there and happy to serve you. Their bottle program isn't the most exciting…it's a substitute for sale pricing. That said, their prices aren't higher than others, but there not much lower, either. We go because their employees aie smart, helpful, friendly, and consistant!

This location of Goody Goody Liquor is where you want to go. Become a Bottle Club Member and stack points towards discounts on your hooch. I just hit up Customer Appreciation Day and got 10% off everything. I'm a Rhone Valley fan, and they stack deep on every region. Very courteous, and if they don't have what you want they will get it for you. ah

The personnel and the prices make this Goody Goody's my favorite place to shop for wine and liquor. I've been to their competitors, but none of them are so much better on prices that I would rate them higher. If you want an explanation about a brand that you haven't tried, the folks here will give you trustworthy advice...and they are super nice.

Friendly, very helpful worker bees. I walked in looking for one specific item and right away they found it for me.. Online it said there was one bottle left.. Gambinos King Cake Rum Cream ! Don’t order anything from this store‼️I place an on line order for delivery and this guy name Patrick cancelled the order without informing us because he think it’s a fraud .I ordered $300 worth of liquor for my employee holiday party but he ruined it for everyone.WE WILL NEVER USE GOODY GOODY EVER AGAIN

I live in the middle of Oaklawn and this is my neighborhood liquor store of choice. It's got a good selection of liquor and decent beer and wine offerings too. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The only nearby place that tops it on beer is the Wholefoods on Lemmon.

Associates are always affable and willing to help, and the prices are almost always the lowest you'll find. I watched two associates help someone find a bottle of whiskey they didn't remember the name of, and they never became impatient. I would recommend above all else!

Very nice store with a huge selection of spirits, wines, and beers. Lots of parking. The streets surrounding the store do get pretty jammed during rush hour traffic so you may be stuck on the street for a couple of traffic light cycles. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The cashier that helped me he was very nice to show me where some items where and as well he was kind enough to offer to help me put my items in my car. I had 3 kids with me and that was super helpful! He is a gentleman with dreads. He deserved a raise!

Great selection on liquor and wine. The staff is kind and extremely helpful if you can’t find something or have a question. The only thing you should know this is a good place for beer, but selection isn’t huge so don’t come here anticipating that.

Reasonable prices for the city, good selection. Parking lot is small & the spots are for sub-compact cars...so there is inevitability spaces that are partially used by adjacent car...they need to repaint parking lot to get more cars spots.

Why are y'all blocking the parking lot when it's never full? You have a security guard out there telling people to leave when it's not needed. Meanwhile the street is overflowing with people from the coffee shop who can't park there. Rude!

My go-to liquor store with a friendly staff that includes experts on major product areas. There’s the wine guy, the vodka guy, the bourbon guy etc. Prices are very competitive and the Bottle Club can save you a few bucks occasionally.

This has very quickly become my favorite liquor store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have had any liquor/brand that I've been looking for and they have the best prices I've seen of all the liquor stores in the area.

I came in, and an employee immediately greeted me, helped me find the product I was searching for, and they had every liquor, wine, and juice and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be a repetitive customer.

Best liquor store ever. Went by today to get a bottle of scotch but they were out of the 750ml of what I usually buy. Al, who was the man, gave me the 12yr old bottle for the same price. Well deserved 5 stars.

Parking is good as long as you pull to side of building. Great selection of whiskey and wines. They also have all the staple vodka and tequila you may need. Staff is fast and friendly every time I am there.
