So, I have visited the Fitzhugh store many times most because of the convenient location to my home on Travis Street. Also, I understand we still live in an uncertain time where a pandemic continues to surprise us, and we all must do our part to stop the spread and save lives. We must all do our part, meaning we must help others; not simply demand of them to do their part, but help them do their part. I visited this location this afternoon around 3 pm. It’s pouring down rain, and I hurry up inside the empty store to avoid becoming drenched by the downpour of rain. I stand in the entrance with my hooded rain coat on, where I’ve used the hoods drawstrings to securely cover my mouth and nose. I know I should have worn a mask to be above reproach and prevent concern. I am all about protecting others by adhering to the CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of Covid-19. I’ve been fully vaccinated and still adhere to these guidelines. However, in my rushed moment to stay dry I realized I had dropped my mask on the wet pavement of the store parking lot. I only needed to make a small purchase available at the cashier’s lane. However, before I was greeted by the two masked employees, a female sitting within a foot of a standing masked male employee, I hear the female question me, “Where’s your mask? You gotta mask?” So, I respond through my muffled and snuggly hood, “I dropped my mask in the wet parking lot, but I have my face and nose covered, and I only need to make a quick purchase here at the counter.” “You need to wear a mask, sir. Until you wear a mask, we can’t help you.” She responds. I look at the two of them. She still sits while leaning on the counter, and he still stands leaned on the cash register with his hands crossed in front of him, as they strictly enforce, with their stares, safeguards, necessary safeguards. I agree I should wear a mask. I intended to wear a mask. And I used what resources I had to cover my nose and mouth securely. So I look at them. They don’t care about keeping me or them safe. They just don’t want to have to work. They are both leaning comfortably in their empty store not willing or budging to make accommodations for a pleasant and safe shopping experience. I work in the luxury hospitality market where we enforce strict guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We actively practice safe distancing, washing of hands, mask wearing. and discussion. When guests need to book uber’s or have conferences we do not deny them the opportunity to enjoy their day. If our guests do not have masks, we have a ready supply for them to utilize as many times necessary. Sigel’s it’s pretty obvious why I walked into an empty store of yours today. You got money to keep the lights on, but employees too cozy to get off their rears and offer a mask to a customer. In the last two years, I’ve spent well over $4000 at this location. That may be pennies to some and a fortune to others. But it’s money I earned and chose to spend at your store. However, I will never spend another dollar again with Sigel’s, because obviously your choosing to prevent business transactions not Covid-19. I’ll take my money somewhere they take action to ensure a business transaction while they also take action and provide resources ensuring a safe experience for their customers. I hope this motivates you to get up and do a little more than just sit around turning away money. Invest in some masks and provide them if you really care. Today, you don’t seem to care, but tomorrow I hope you have a change of mind.

This is a great store to shop for entertainment type drink such as liquor and mixers. I think that the prices here are really good. Considering the other liquor stores in the area the prices that I have known at this store or really good as well as the selection of items or always in stock. The customer service is really good at the store as well as there's lots of room to walk with in the store as well as there is a lot of space to park outside. The store is very noticeable from the road very easy to get into and very easy to get out of. This is a good location because it is downtown and close to the freeway and you can find all of the mixers and even some that I never even knew existed. The only thing that I was not happy with that I noticed when I went to the store that I always look for at liquor stores or lottery tickets. The store does not carry the Texas Lottery but there are several other stores within the area that do. I do highly recommend that you go here if you're looking for any type of liquor or drink mixers.

Was just here this past Saturday. I'm African American and the cashier was a white woman. I was standing in line waiting to purchase my items and she kept switching back and forth between registers for some reason. There were 2 other African Americans in line ahead of me waiting to purchase their items. While waiting, a white man walked in, selected his items, went to the register she was currently at, she rang him up, and he was walking out of the door all while I was still standing in line. She had the nerve to apologize about the wait. I won't be going back, neither will my affiliates. I'll be sure to spread the word

Stopped in for the first time on my way back from Houston, and even though I live 30 miles away, I will definitely be back. An associate welcomed us, and Princess, the manager, really made an impression. Of all the stores I've visited, I could truly see why people living in the area would make this their go to for reasonably priced adult beverages and honest service. Thanks for a great experience!!

One of my go-to liquor stores. The lady that usually works the front register is amazingly nice and super quick. The older man behind her is kinda slow, so if you're in a hurry, go to the lady EVEN IF she has a customer and the man is empty - he is that slow. All that being said, love this store and frequent it often!

Customer service here is always over the top and today was no exception! Orelia and Andrea helped me wrap a gift... which was very unexpected!!! I love their spirits (no pun intended!). This store always has the best prices and selection. Thank you do much!!!

What can I say, it's a Sigel's within a mile of my house! Same great service and knowledgeable employees as any other location. Plenty of options for wine, beer and liquor including a fairly robust local beer selection. Reasonable pricing and friendly people.

It took an hour to buy liquor and beer here I was the only one in line, the 4-5 people behind the counter were busy cacklin like a whole bunch of hens, at one people I asked if I should come back once they were done. Never again will I go back to this store.

Large selection of everything u culd possibly want to drink. The workers are nice. The security guard rocks. Its neat & clean. Plus, they've got the purple throne that u can take pictures in. The CROWN Royal throne, that is. I highly recommend this store.

One stop shop. Great service. Fantastic selection. Often when I visit, vendors are offering promotional samples. The place to go if you're near Downtown Big D.

Great spot for the essentials. Basic spirits can be found at a few price points. Not a huge selection for amaros or vermouths, but a great regular spot!

Wide variety of liquors and snacks. The price of the liquor rang up differently that advertised but they corrected it and gave us the price advertised.

This Liquor store has a large selection of everything. I went to find Gluten Free Beer, they had it.
