Yotis was one of four plumbers we considered for a big plumbing job on an old house we bought in NDG. Most of our pipes were 100 year old galvanized steel pipes and had to be changed. The other plumbers who came to quote pushed to use copper, while Yotis was the only one to give me the pros and cons of copper vs PEX. In the end, he suggested using a combination of PEX (where difficult to reach) and copper (where visible), which worked worked out really well. Because he used PEX, which is easier to work with, he only had to make two openings in the ceiling of our butler's pantry. He managed to change all the plumbing without doing any opening on the 2nd floor, or any damage in the finished part of the basement. He delivered on time with no cost overruns.

Hang up on me... I politely asked if he could give a discount as all other places I called gave some sort of discount and the prices are pretty much the same, so I wanted to pick whoever can install earlier. He said no and I understand. But when I called again to ask if he could install on the weekend with the original price, he told me it's impossible to ask for discount and also install on the weekend. Hello? I didn't ask for discount again. I only asked if he does installations on weekends. I called this place only because of the good reviews he got here, I'm disappointed in how impatient and rude he is.

I called them because our dishwasher wasn't draining. The technician asked me some quick questions on the phone and explained that it was very likely a broken part of the dishwasher and that we would need to contact the dishwasher manufacturer for the repair. I got off the phone in less than 5 min, paid $0 and had clear next steps with a better understanding of the situation. Will definitely be calling them if / when we do have a real plumbing issue. Customer service 5 stars.

Just had a new toilet installed - same great service, attention to detail, communication and value for money as always. Previous work by KARE: our hot water tank is efficient and works well, the dishwasher runs quietly, and the faucets and drains have been trouble-free. Yotis and his team are honest and professional, and have advised on things that only needed basic maintenance not replacement, where others might have done unnecessary work and pocketed the money. These guys are very helpful and polite. They repaired a garage drain for us, and provided various options that varied with cost. We selected the low cost option. They did the work after business hours at our convenience. While they were here, I asked them to change a countertop for a bathroom vanity, which they did with pleasure. I'm very happy to have found these plumbers. They are busy, but if you're not in a rush, they will adapt to your schedule and do excellent work.

I called Kare Plumbing and Heating INC after seeing reviews here. I can confirm that Yotis and his crew are prompt, careful in listening to your issue, and execute to a quick solution. At the end of the job Yotis explains where the costs are (parts/labor) making it an easy breakdown of where the money went. I honestly do not have a bad thing to say about them, and would surely use again.

Just perfect, called Yotis at 4pm to know what he could do to change a hot water tank, came asap to check what needed to be done and was directly able to tell me how much it would be. He confirmed with me if it was ok to do the job the day after, and it was done in the morning.. less than 24h between the call and have that fixed, all that remotely as I'm not in Montreal..

I called them up in regards to an issue on tuesday. Although, they responded quite quickly, I was informed that they would call me back on Wednesday. They didn't call back on Wednesday. When I called back on Thursday, they informed me to go get the missing part to fix the problem at "Home Depot" and that they could not help me. Terrible experience...

Yotis was efficient and professional. He replaced my laundry faucets and had time to fix my leaking kitchen sink as well. I asked about replacing my shower faucets also, but he was honest and let me know that they were fine for a few more years. His fees are also cheaper than some of the other plumbers in the area.

Completely forgot to write a review. lol I'm pleased with the work that was done. Only neg I have was the constant appointment date change. (Though I can't entirely blame them. The parking is horrible here downtown.) Other than that if there is any future plumbing issues, I have no problem calling them again. =)
