I have a AirPods Pro purchased in late April 2020 and started to notice increasing static sound recently with my right AirPods. I brought my AirPods Pro to the store, got it tested and Apple's audio diagnostics show both AirPods failed. My AirPods Pro was exactly among the batch of units manufactured before October 2020 that may experience sound issues per the Apple website, and should've been eligible for the program where Apple will service the affected AirPods Pro (left, right or both), free of charge. However my request of replacing my right AirPods at no cost was denied because it is beyond 3 years since the original purchase date that the AirPods cannot be covered by the quality program in store. In other words, if I had taken my AirPods to the store 4 months earlier, they would've offered me free replacements. I don't know what difference it could make during the past 4 months to justify that the sound issues weren't due to the product's underlying faulty quality known to the company as early as in 2020. However in my opinion, if Apple really cared about its customer service/experience, they should've provided this program to all affected units without time limits. I would’ve given it no star if it was not for the assistance from the store technician who did his job.

Terrible service. My macbook which I have bought 9 months ago recently has a cracked bezel (the bottom strip of the laptop) near the hinge due to no fault of my own, I did not even realise it was glass. I came in looking for a solution but apparently my only solution was a $753 full screen replacement and it is not covered by apple limited warranty. Might as well buy a new ipad! The man who assisted me kept trying to corner me saying it was my fault that it was damaged, and if not whose fault is it? And trying to also imply that it got damaged because I was not careful enough , and that I should have paid more attention when closing the laptop - when it does not come with any warning about this issue which is quite common now that I have researched into the problem because of the way the laptop is built. I barely take this laptop outside the house since I have my own Microsoft Surface that I take outside for work. Very disappointing, it was my first time purchasing a macbook, and if I knew how fragile this thing would be I would never have purchased it, especially with the rude and cold service I got today. I have ipads, apple iphones, airpod, and thought buying a mac would be a great idea. never again!

Nice staff with lousy operations... I've always liked Apple Stores to browse products, but my purchasing experience has never been great and I tend to avoid them now considering they rarely budge on price. All I wanted to do was exchange a product I bought online for an alternative brand of the exact same price. In total, it involved three trips and a 2 week wait to finally get this done – all because Apple was still processing my online order and it couldn't be closed on the system... On my final successful visit, the exchange took over half an hour. During this time (at their new store), the staff around me were constantly swapping buggy payment devices, and my friendly staff assistant constantly required various approvals from his manager. When I finally left I was actually surprised to leave with the new product. It would also be nice if they had 'display boxes'. There were only two of my products left on the shelf, so it would be nice to know I wasn't getting an expensive product that a hundred different people had touched. Here's a photo of the new store.

I had passed by Apple store many times but never stepped into the store before till today. I was looking for iMac to start my Vblog edition journey. The front assistant was very warm welcoming and introduced me to specialist Phobe. She was very patient and professional to answer all my questions. Phobe recommended some latest products and software that suitable to my needs. The information I received today are very.helpful. I decided to wait for new products on display later this month. Furthermore, the free learning session I joined was terrific and fun. I tried the procreate on iPad first time and drew myself. The trainer is fantastic to share his knowledge and experience with people who are beginners. I did enjoy the one hour session and strongly recommend to people who like to try could book your seat on Apple online store. Totally, I had a great experience in Apple store and learnt new art skill on how to use iPad drawing via Procreate. Thank you :-)

Mixed experiences here coming down to the employees. Had an iPhone SE trade in (2020-2022) which they could only fulfil giving me the 2022 model as it was too late for transfer for the 2020 model. Was told to come back anytime only to be refused next time being told I need an appt. Had a good experience regarding AirPods and had a free replacement. Next time brought my SE in due to it not charging and was greeted by an employee who was unprofessional and suggested I buy a new phone if the issue persisted even though it was still under warranty. Got referred to Apple Southland which the same guy said they couldn’t book due to a different storefront but his fellow employee managed to get me one. So seems like at this store the experience comes down to who you’re dealing with… and whether or not the staff member is a fool or not or at the very least has some professionalism. Can’t complain about a couple of them though.

I walked into Apple Chadstone to buy the series 8 ultra watch I was approached by a store representative I asked are you in sales he joked I hope so. ! I took his reply as banter. And we walked up to the watches I was looking for I then picked a watch and asked him it I could get it asap as I was in a hurry. He then stopped and replied I don’t take kindly to that comment I replied what’s wrong with what I said he then said I’m going to refer you to one of the managers. We both walked to the manager and he explained what I said I replied hang on it’s okay for you to be rude to me at the beginning but when I asked you I was in a hurry that bothered you. The manager said to me I can put you in a queue I replied nah it’s all good I don’t need the watch that badly. Booked in to have my IPhone repaired, only 2 days reservation in advance. They were able to reinstall IOS into the phone within minutes and fix the problem. Exceptional 1:1 provided and professionalism from tech staff. The Hype when you walk into the store lives up to the Apple reputation. The store is very aesthetically pleasing with minimalism design. Prices on items in the store are tiny and there is no lining up at counters to make any transaction as seamless as possible. A bit annoying that you can’t just walk in & window shop as you have to book yourself in and be with an Apple employee likely due to COVID guidelines. Not to mention they temperature check you at the door and quiz you on whether your a risk of being sick. I love the assurance that any faulty Apple Device is replaceable within 2 years of purchase.

Terrible customer service and arrogant staff, Haily. Went to the store with my mum to purchase her new iPhone 14 pro. We needed the help to transfer all things to the new one. While we are waiting, the female staff came and touched my phone without asking. And said my mum and I should go to home as transfers between phones are very easy. WE ARE BEING IGNORED after I said I prefer to get done here as I wanted to make sure there is no issues. When I checked with another male staff how to make a complaint, WE ARE BEING IGNORED AGAIN. after 5 mins sitting stupidly, I checked with the same male staff, instead of helping me, he started to defend Haily. The total experience was absurd and uncomfortable in Chadstone. But realising it is normal after reading other negative reviews. Great product but customer service sucks.

I Made an appointment with the genius bar to rectify length of ring tone which was too short on my Pro max 12. MY Tech Lia tried many different ways to rectify but was unsuccessful after spending about 45 mins and was then told problem was a Telstra Issue . I went to Telstra sat for nearly one hour they were unable to help and told me it was an apple problem . Went back to Apple store and saw a different tech Stella- she tried again and told me it was a Telstra Problem . Subsequently I came home and out of sheer frustration went on line and found a video on how to solve this problem . I.e Go settings -accessibility -touch -call audio --auto answer - +/- to increase or decrease length of ring time and was successful ..... Genius Bar , Really ??? A response is expected .. I disabled my phone accidentally and received the 16 minute disable message. When I went back into my phone it said iphone locked to user it and wiped my phone clean. My daughter with it two weeks later and locked it again a couple of times to the 15 disabled message and it wiped my phone again. Genius Bar said there are only two ways to reset photo and had no interest in the issue. I have had two more people I know this has happened to them. I asked Genius Bar whether I could pay someone to set up iCloud etc and they only do that over phone. After 20 years using Apple, I hate it to my core and will slowly make the transition off iphone and their money making model. MacBook pros now have no memory storage, there are no external ports so you have to buy accessories, it is a complete scam.

This is by far the worst experience I ever had at Apple. ANYONE DO NOT GO ON THURSDAY. Honestly the staff at Apple are really ignorant and stubborn when it comes for help. Literally they only care about people who booked an appointment and not people who walk in at the store. I was frustrated and disappointed when no one came to help and I had to asked one of the employees that are free yet alone with a customer. I cannot believe these people who are working on this day, I JUST WANT TO BUY AN IPHONE YET THEY DONT CARE. Therefore I want the managers to read this, and I hope this will never happen again. There should be many staff that needs to be replaced as they are not able to do even the basics of advice and sales. Do better Apple such a disgusting act.

I walked into the store and waited, then got told by a staff member to wait near the iPads section. After waiting a man come over and was incredibly rude, he was overconfident in what he knew and had no idea what he was talking about. He tried to convince me that I should buy an iPad Pro for mindmapping?? I asked him about its features and after asking about the battery life, he said 10 hours. I said oh that’s good and then he said in an annoyed tone ‘up to!’ ?? He was very unhelpful and left me with an unpleasant experience. I’d recommend going to the Apple Store in fountain gate as they were incredibly helpful in assisting me. (This is not meant in a mean way towards the unhelpful staff member, just a recommendation for better service in the future).

Honestly, the service here is actually terrible. Just go to Southland's Apple store, they're much better. Came here because my laptop felt like static and you could feel the electrical current every time it is plugged in. The 'Genius' who was supposed to be helping be, basically said I was wrong and there's nothing wrong with my laptop. Waited for an hour, walked away with no solutions, just someone gaslighting me to thinking my laptop was completely fine. My online case manager ended up helping fix the issue instead of me bringing it into the store. Got my Airpod Pros checked out here, the charging was faulty, walked away with a 'firmware reset', but the charging was still not working properly. Ended up going to Southland to get it replaced.

Absolute and utter incompetence of staff. I have been lead on a wild goose chase by “genius” staff members and their management which has resulted having to come back to the store 4 times only to be advised that now after this many attempts to fix the issue with my brand new phone I have to go back to the phone service provider for assistance. What an absolute joke of a store, management, staff and Apple processes. Clearly the intention here is just to sell products with absolutely no regard for customer experience. I don’t know what has happened to Apple but it is certainly a far cry from what it was and what customers were previously able to expect in relation to product and service quality.

On September 10, 2023, at 4:00 PM, my girlfriend and I came here. We approached a Chinese male customer service representative to help us with our phone issues. To our surprise, all we asked was about transferring data to another phone, but this customer service representative was extremely impatient and had a very bad attitude. It was our first time getting our phones serviced, so we didn't understand much, and he didn't want to explain further. For such a large company like Apple, if they can't even control their employees, should we continue using Apple phones? I suggest firing this customer service representative! It was clear that he wasn't very busy that day, yet he was so impatient.

I feel some staff here need to improve their attitude and respect for customers, twice spent a large amount of money to buy ipad pro and iphone 14 promax not to have a bad experience. The first time, meeting an unenthusiastic male employee, he always seemed unhappy, not friendly. The second time, I met a female employee to let her customer wait for her to get her phone for 20 minutes, then she went to change the phone screen for another customer without even caring about us. If I hadn't asked the other employee, I would have waited until the store closed, when another employee complained to her, she even pointed at us and said something. ? Actually, I feel I had a bad experience.

Worst experience with technology I’ve ever had with Aaron and the team at Chaddy. Took in my new iPad for warranty issue with defective touch sensor and was told it is physical damage and not covered. Staff member got my hopes up indicating that they may be able to cover the defect, however the manager refused to cover and offered a paid replacement as the item can’t be repaired. After over a decade of buying Apple products - watches phones tablets etc it’s the first time I’ve needed service, and this experience was the pits. Sorry Apple - you have changed and lost your way. My next purchase will be anything but Apple after this experience.

Couldn't be happier with my experience at Apple, Chadstone, mainly due to the customer service. I was looking for a gift for a mate who was moving overseas but I was unsure if there would be any suitable given my budget. In saying that, the Apple employer Khaled was extremely helpful regarding the type of product I was after, which would fit into my budget. He was also extremely patient given that I essentially was going in blind and didn't have a set product in mind. Apple Chadstone isn't my closest Apple store, but I definitely will be returning whenever I have any Apple issues/concerns as I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.

Find it absolutely absurd how there are 20 red shirt staff walking around freely but only one guy at the corner is responsible for taking payments. Just wanted to get a cable and rush out to catch my bus because I’m injured and limping so it’ll take a while but the payment dude was busy chatting away, tried to ask other staff for assistance because all I wanted was to buy a cable which cost 30aud, EVERYONE referred me to this one staff in the corner, 7-8 of them walking around holding ipads and doing nothing. I can understand if it’s peak busy hours but literally so many of them were just wandering around

I had an unfortunate experience at the Apple Store, Chadstone. The store manager, Sam, exhibited behavior that I found unprofessional. He seemed unaware of customer service protocols, and I was disappointed by his lack of apology for the situation. During our visit, Manager Sam not only denied coverage for the screen protector, dismissing our prior conversation with the team as lacking proof, but also insinuated the possibility of dishonesty. This Apple store is in a different level. I am visiting Chadstone probably after one years time and oh boy what a change. They have completely moved the store to a diffident location and now it’s massive. Almost felt like I was in a American store. Love the concept and having live trees and so much open light coming into the store. One of the best best apple stores I have visited and the service was equally amazing. The layout of the store is well designed. Once you go in, doesn’t feel like coming back out.

Had an issue with my Apple Watch not syncing to my phone correctly when I bought a new iPhone 15. Did everything at home - rest it, factory reset, all the stuff you can do on your own. Went into chadstone on a Sunday - no appointment but was able to see a technician within an hour. A lady named Stella helped me - she was very friendly and helpful and fixed the issue within half an hour. I had low hopes in being able to have it fixed on the spot and so when she resolved the issue I was very happy. Thank you Stella!

Remarkably terrible service. Purchased an iPhone 14 Pro here on Thursday. Came in tonight, ready to buy a screen protector and case, and was asked to wait 8 minutes - fair enough. I ended up waiting at least twice as long without so much as being acknowledged, let alone assisted to make a purchase. I asked a staff member what was happening, and was dismissively told to keep waiting. I didn’t bother and definitely won’t be coming back to this Apple Store ever again. I’ll go to Fountain Gate next time.

Having not long ago converted to Apple from Android, we purchased new phones from this store during the end of 22’ The sales team member was calm, polite and straight forward with the transaction. Helping me with the watch bands and choosing the right model of Apple Watch. The whole process took less than 20 mins and we walked out happy customers. We’ve been back a few times since for smaller purchases and a warranty repair. Each experience was positive and the staff were all easy to deal with.

I booked an appointment with Genius Bar for battery replacement. Battery health stuck at 86% for years and drained within 5-6hours. They refused to replace the battery even though I have been paying apple care plus for many years. Have never get anything replaced before but the only time I need actual service they refuse to do so. Apple care is a scam and the service is getting increasingly worse. I just bought ip15 pro and regretted. Will not be future customer of apple.

Went to the store to TRADE IN and the staff said I needed to wait two or three hours for an available time. I made an appointment for the earliest available time. When I arrived at the store at the scheduled time, I was told that I couldn't trade in without a physical id. The staff didn't tell me that I needed an id to trade in when I made the appointment, so I wasted 3 hours of waiting time for nothing. Really bad experience!!

The response was to book an appointment in 30 minutes time. How absurd, customer service non existent without treated like a number. I have been a customer of this company for a long time I visited for the sound problem of my phone, which took away the ability to speak from me for 8 months and I was talking through the speaker, they said you don't have a warranty and you have to spend $500 to fix the speaker! Terrible service! Pick up order service is the worse experience ever! Showed digital id, purchase record etc. still didn’t allow me to pick up the order, saying it is not physical Id! I went in to get my watch repaired. Apparently you need to make an appointment to deal with a technician and they had a new iPhone launch so were too busy. I just wanted to leave my watch and get a phone call about it but no! Have to come back for a group hug and a deep consultation about my watch screen. Complete joke!! Staff asked to pay for items that were still covered under warranty? Are you serious? I spent 2k on an iPhone 14 Pro with a heating problem, and the staff said everything was great, and all they could do was pay for a battery replacement, which has a decent health rating of roughly 90%.

A modern Apple store with a beautiful light well at the forum area. I would say the store is one of the nicer ones out there, and I would definitely enjoy Today at Apple sessions held here.
