Very disappointed! The entire centre was evacuated and with two sick kids and a pram full of groceries, I was told by one staff member to simply come back with them after the evacuation. But as I tried to leave another staff member told me I couldn’t take the groceries out of the store. ‘What am I supposed to do then?’ I asked. The cranky old lady told me I just couldn’t leave with the groceries. So asked if she could help me unpack so I could get my children out faster. Her reply was ‘No, it’s an evacuation. I need to leave’... ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! What kind of sorry excuse for a human and a company that groceries were put ahead of the safety of children! And yet, no assistance with unloading said groceries! What would have happened if it was a bomb threat? What would have happened if it was a fast spreading fire? You, Woolworths, have apparently trained your employees that the lives of women and children mean nothing in comparison to $60 worth of food that couldn’t be returned to the shelf anyway due to health and safety regulations. I’ll stick to Coles from now on.

What has happened to Woolworths Carindale? I have shopped there since Carindale shopping centre opened and it was always my only store to shop at, but in the last couple of weeks the shelves are not stocked when I go shopping on a Wednesday they are quite bare in places. The bakery has little stock out at 10am or does no longer bake certain things. The meat section has changed with meats pre packed in hard packs and nothing like it used to be. I have had to resort to going to Coles to get things I can no longer get at your store which is something I have not had to do before. Their shelves are well stocked and very enticing. Woolworths no longer seems to deliver catalogues to homes, they have them on the counter but you do not stop and read it before you go into the store. My favourite store is Woolworths but unless it improves or reverts back to better stock I may reluctantly have to do more shopping at Coles. This is no reflection on the staff as I always find them friendly, courteous and helpful. Ros

young boy with blonde hair was rude and unfortunately he is racist. he ignored me and skipped to say hello even he says to other customers He does not seem to understand how his attitude hurt others. He seems to treat others by separating them according to his taste and mood. It's a distinction, but it's also a discrimination. I was very sad with his attitude. I can no longer go to this supermarket to protect myself. It is very disappointing. But there is no choice. This store recognizes and hires people like him. Human education is not the responsibility of the company. also another cocern it is said we have to keep social distancn at least 1.5 m but if he keep standing in front of the entrance, we can not keep social distance and he see a lots of people and could catch wirus there. thats not good for him.

  • Lara Townend

Karen Townend(not Lara Townend) I wanted to purchase salmon. There was one lady serving in the small goods, to my right, another in the meat section to my left. In 8 minutes of waiting there, not once did they acknowledge my presence. 5 people arrived after me and were served. One gentleman actually was served a chicken, then moved to the meat section and still started to get served before me. One very rude woman knew she was after me but accepted the service, even though her husband told her it wasn't her turn... she poked her tongue at him!. When I stated that I had been waiting, a girl attended to me- no apology.. said the "fish" person was on lunch (time was 5.05pm). Maybe the number tickets should be put back in to service.

The store is actually under very poor standards myself family & friends refuse to shop there anymore, some staff make your shopping experience actually quite nice however the rest ruin it for everyone, take for example a young girl on front end by the name of Brittney is nothing but rude & disrespectful how she manages to keep her employment just goes to show me that higher up management don’t know the whole customer experience that we should walk away with comes from snotty rude & downright disrespect from a nasty personality, don’t recommend this Woolworths to anybody wanting a good shopping experience

Your two favourite loyal customers, are now very upset due to the fact of poor customer service we were treated very horribly and verbally abused. one lady requested we leave the register due to a horrible reason. cora is the only good worker she deserves a rise. we feel offended and might have to swap to coles at this point.we deserve an apolgy from the whole crew member even the ones who weren’t there , please feel free to apologise and give us free push pops when you have owned up to your actions, we are now traumatised from this event and cannot stop crying sincerely ur favs. xx

INVASION OF PRIVACY!!!! Went there like normal on a Thursday before work, only had clothing and medicine in bag from other stores and a stupid girl half my age at the checkout accused me of shop lifting it from Woolworths and made me show all my receipts even though the damn store doesn't sell pharmacy medication or fashion clothing. What's worse it took me a few minutes for me rummage around my bag for the receipt's and for her to check every single item on them with the contents of my bag making me late for work. Seriously not happy and will think twice before returning again.

  • Kim Hanrahan

Helpful friendly staff, easy to get around, great variety, plenty to choose from, full shelves, heaps of checkouts open, fantastic online shopping with plenty of spaces to pickup ur shopping, great customer service from the team there as well as them been prompt n caring as well as friendly n helpful especially wen I have been late in picking up the shopping from my allocated time frame. Job well done team, have not seen a frown on any of them always smiling n happy.

Yesterday at #Woolworths in Carindale (Brisbane, Queensland), I asked at the delicatessen for 6 (six) slices of cooked turkey breast. The attendant wrapped the meat and I finished my shopping and went home. To my frustration and disappointment, I found that the attendant had only given me 5 (five) slices. This is not the first time this has happened. It is highly annoying especially when you need an exact count of an item for a specific dish or purpose. Aaaaaargh!

  • Paul Baker

It's my local supermarket and ticks most boxes! Still some lines not available, but I think that is today's world that we live in thanks to the you know what! Easy access and friendly staff, what more could you ask for except for cheaper meat and more range of toilet paper , 2 years and still can't get my favourite scrub every time. And I wish they would stop shifting stuff around so I don't to hunt for it, first world problem I know, but still annoying!

  • Nanette Hinsch

I slipped over in aisle 8 or 9 as someone had spilt their Boost Juice 4 minutes before and not reported it, and I fell on my right knee. I now have a huge bruise all over my kneecap, but at least Joshua got me a chair and a bag of ice to ice it straight away. Very regrettable. The take away is, WHY do people who spill things not let the staff know so spills can be cleaned up? People are so SELFISH!!!

  • Cathy Rutherford

Ordered online and missed the pick up timeframe that suited me. Catering for a function that commenced when the next available pick up time did. Sydney call centre guy said he would make a note on the order that I needed it earlier. Got an SMS and picked up 30 mins earlier. Champs! That's customer service. Order spot on and packed well. First online order experience, and not the last.

  • Jeannine Grant

The store was quiet which is always nice when u are a senior lady. I found everything I needed and noticed some interesting sauces/gravies I'd not seen before. I do not enjoy the self service check out but was fortunate that a very friendly young scanned and packed my groceries for me. A good stress free experience. As I have gotten older I truly dislike the self service check outs.

  • Cassie Shakespeare

Although I can't say that I had the best experience signing up with Woolworths Prepaid Mobile, nor with home delivery, I'd like to focus my positive feedback towards my recent experience at Woolworths Carindale. Specifically, the help that Thelma so enthusiastically and patiently provided at the Self-service Checkout. Superstar Service, give this woman a pay rise! Thank you, Thelma.

  • Stuart Fisher

In this day and age, it's hard to impress with a supermarket. Especially one that is a large chain. Woollies, like most other supermarkets, prides itself on being consistent across the board... And this one is. Similar layout, same products, same ole same ole. Edit: the checkout staff are the slowest in the world. And my guess is they do that too push more people to self checkout

  • Laurence Robert

Woolworths Carindale was busy as usual after 3 pm, I did pick-up a couple of tubs of yogurt, pay for then and leave within 5 minutes. The yogurt is a new brand called Siggi's, I like this brand as it is thick and set like home made yogurt. This store is well layed out and I know where my regular shopping items are to found. The staff in this store are also helpful.

  • Yqy Y

Don’t go this Woolworths if you are Asian.. The lady at the self check out, she check no body, but only suspect me ( An Asian) mum not paying the milk...I bought $60 items, and for no reason you suspect me didn’t pay the milk??? This is a Racist store..or at least the lady staff working at self check out area, at around 11.40am, 15/12/2022, she is racist.

  • Belbo Beaboo

The stock availability is consistent, as is the relatively low occurrence of aisle obstacles caused by staff stocking. The store is in need of refurbishment, but always clean. I can rely on there being hot roasts available 90% of the time, which is excellent for a Woolworths store. Staff are excellent and could probably use a few morale boosts.

  • Keith Batch

Too many empty shops. The only major shopping centre I know of that doesn't have a post office. Woolies Carindale is the same as all the other Woolies stores. Messy, trolleys with empty cardboard boxes left I the aisles. Items wrongly priced. Example..one type of honey has a special sticker on the shelf $6.20c, the original sticker says $5.60.

  • Lindsay Wang

The employees at this store exhibit a noticeably poor attitude towards Asians, displaying clear discrimination. Every time I make a purchase, their demeanor is distant and unwelcoming. I try to avoid going to this store as much as possible, unless absolutely necessary. This is by far the worst Woolworths customer service I’ve encountered.

  • Charlotte Akuhata

This is a special place for activities and have a wider range of products that can be purchased and it would depend on the particular brand shoppers are looking for the staff have great ideas for fundraising and may recommend a variety of products and brands to try inexpensive items in store, talk to the staff they are very helpful

  • Mickey

Very clean Woolies and always has a good variety of stock. Never have an issue shopping here and am always pleasantly surprised with the selection at the meat department. If you ask them, they will go and find a nice chunk of meat and slice up however you wish. Definitely recommend as far as inner-city Woolworths go.

  • Harley Smith

Very disappointed! I was accused of stealing as I purchased fruit from fresh sensations shop on the floor below. The lady made me feel like a criminal and had to show that I purchased the fruit. Very disappointing to be accused for something which I would never do. I will not be returning to Woolworths again!!

  • Lisa Bee

Ok, so we all hate the self check outs. Hate lining up for what feels like hours behind 5 full trolleys at one of the few open maned checkout. But woolwoths at carindale has a lovely flower section, overpriced but good fresh fruit area and who can't stop loving the never ending Fresh Fruit people song.

  • Linda Meredith

I wish to acknowledge all the wonderful young staff at Woolworths Carindale. They work so hard and are such beautiful people. What they have to endure from rude and unsavoury customers seems such a shame. Rebekah, Nicholas to name just a couple. Thank you for your wonderful, friendly & helpful service.

  • Erikai Guerrini

Woolworths used to be our go to supermarket Post covid it has turned to crumbs. While I feel sorry for them, Coles seems to be able to provide a better service and fresher food now. Their food is always rotten or not available and enormous prices. Although that is a problem everywhere at the moment.

  • Bianca Adams

I think that the store has gone down hill dramatically and they need to really start to improve with further training maybe a new manager?? and attention to the small things matters. This is an area that demands a certain standard and the team are just not delivering it here. Much needed re-staffing

  • Kiara Warner

Hands down the best Sushi. So fresh and tasty. $12 for 10 pieces (Cruncy Chicken Teriyaki Roll… Delicious, way better than any other sushi store) 97% of the time they have exactly what I am looking for, always stocked with beautiful fresh flowers at a reasonable price and such lovely staff members.

  • Te-Amorangi Ruki

Had a great friendly experience with staff member Ben. He was efficient, joyful and very talkative. Another staff member, Jazzi was very helpful with helping me find a specific item. She was very friendly and lovely to talk too. Great customer service, well-done Woolworths Carindale.

  • Katherine Willis

Have visited this store a few times and had top-notch service from a lovely woman at your self-checkouts (Bridge). I used to work in retail and take my hat off to her - racing from customer to customer (to fix system errors) and never not smiling! Thanks for all your hard work :)

  • IiTizz Gamer

The worst Woolworths I've been to say don't help just tell your I'll even don't help I'm half blyne and don't help even though I have disability I just have trouble seeing things I asked over free people today yesterday I asked 4 people or they say is down the aisle

  • cathy Lee

Good thing here is no negative 5 stars. Self check out is always dirty and staff there chat chat chat. Even it isn't busy. They have their social com there rather than work. From now I am going to take a photo of the machine every time and report how dirty it is.

  • troy ware

Shout out to Celine it seems to be tough to find staff that are still interested in a good old fashion chat and interaction. She is a credit to your store in a rough time, brilliant smile and loved the chat... As brief as it was, very efficient. Regards Troy Ware

  • Stephen Broadley

Woolworth seems to delight in putting products where you wouldn't expect to find them. The only benefit is if you are looking to add to your step count! If you are in a rush, sorry, but you'll be bumping into people zig zagging around looking for stuff like you.

  • Robyn Robertson

I don't normally shop here. But yesterday it was convenient to do so. The times I do shop it is always easy. Pleasant staff. No long queues. Very inviting store with many food options. Managed to get a half ham there my last store choice. Worth the trip.

  • j t

This store has been going going downhill for years, Have completed surveys with no response or action. Management doesn't seem to care. Empty shelves and long queue's are now common. This is a company which makes billion dollar profits. Not good enough.

  • Anzac Forever

Quick shop here to grab groceries as I was looking after 4 grandkids, had everything I needed plus a bit more than my local Woolies, Tiger prawns were great, sushi was fresh and the service was spot on , and it was quick going through the self serve,

  • Emily Stark

Always been happy with Woolworths. My favourite buy is the Super Wellness bowls in the freezer section when they go on special. Nest healthy alternative for a frozen meal. Also appreciate the parcel pick up so I can continue shopping at the centre.

  • Untitled

My favourite $2 Trip. The staff are very friendly. and they have a wide variety of fresh fruits and food. The manager is cool with me grabbing my items and paying for it. with the Nicest cashier at self services. get the job done, quick and easy

  • Lauren Riley

Please educate your staff on how the Vegemite $2 limited coins work through checkout. Getting incorrect information that it’s only by chance if I get it in my change is not true. Cranky staff was on an all time high today in Woolworths!

  • Ricky Pedro Metran McLean

Comes here every weekend for groceries but last week was not good, very bad service on the self checkout. The staff named Ben was more interested in selling charity tickets than helping the customers. Very bad service …

  • varinia street

A huge Woolworths Store! Great fresh produce & freshly baked bread! Good selection of fresh meat & seafood selection! Heaps of room between the iles! Friendly& helpful service provided! Wheelchair access is available plus parking!

  • Vicki Wadsworth

Notices up saying go to service station for your limited toilet paper and hand sanitizer only to find out there is none and they don't know when they will have some. Up date your notices. Keep customers and staff informed.

  • Erold Carter

Just called in for 2 packs of toilet paper on half price special to take to work. But the main reason for Westfield Carindale visit was to get protein powder from shop next door as I'm a member this weekend I get 20% off..

  • Sere Sere

I would like to know what special training you offer to your cash register employees to be so slow. Honestly, it s unbelievable how slow they are. All of them. So it must be a retail policy?!? Please do something!

  • Jason Chan

Called in to check the stock of a product. A rude staff told me he couldn't tell and he would not not check it for me. He cut the line finally. Everytime I call in, they will answer but not this time.

  • WeepingTimeL

I love coming here to shop, and just imagine the trolleys are all imperial star destroyers from star wars using the pincer maneuver. Can't wait to watch the movie 'Star Wars: Woolworths Strikes Back'.

  • Samuel Taylor

Hands down the worst Woolworths I have ever been to. Not enough room for the amount of stock, and for the amount of people going through there. Avoid busy times or you will 100% regret going there.

  • Mari Heidari

Thank you very much Ethan! We ordered my daughter's birthday cake from the bakery and he was so patient and nice in taking our order . We hope we receive such a great customer service everywhere .

  • Ken Bird

Part of a major shopping centre. Easy parking and access. Taking covid precautions seriously. Good range of fruit and vegetables and supermarket items. Choice of manned and self serve checkouts.

  • Dawn M

Our thanks to Peter today who went out of his way to find us and give us the Walnuts he had just unpacked. Appreciate the extra mile the team go to at Carindale Woolworths Thanks Peter! …

  • Chantel Van Schalkwyk

Good quality products with a wide range availible. They could have a better international section. Coles Carindale sells South African products while Woolies does not. But otherwise great!

  • Jerosha Matheson

It's a Woollies, we get groceries.... would have gotten more IF they had any trolleys, but the guy at the front counter joked(?) That the trolley guys are on strike for Christmas ?! …

  • Ken Wilkinson

Disappointed with this one and mainly at the sushi bar. I asked them to make 2 nori roles and they said no? Wynnum and Belmont wollies make them on request everytime and Carindale don't.

  • Kieran McKenzie (Macca)

I have been here a couple of times now. I would not recommend coming on a weekend. Huge line ups everywhere it is ridiculous. Not even staff on every checkout can keep up with demand.

  • Raymond “Ray” Lyons

Click & collect was excellent at this Carindale store. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the Samuel Village store, the last two C&C were not good or of an acceptable standard.

  • Lana Farina

A shoutout for Ben - I just want to say I received the best customer service ever from Ben at the checkouts a couple of Saturdays ago. He was amazing and seemed to love his job.

  • Alex Pietila

I regularly visit this woolies and have never had a bad experience! The staff are super friendly and I'm never left at the self serve checkout waiting for assistance, big win!

  • Maree Thomsen

Great service. Very friendly checkout guy from NZ tonight. Great range including Kiwi section for all those wanting Watties Tomato sauce, malt biscuits, L&P etc...

  • George Zedd

This is one of my least favourite supermarkets. It looks dirty and is uninviting. Shopping here is a chore ad there is very little available at reasonable prices.

  • Rob

Do not expect the deli to have what you want, they seem to close up early every day. There at 5pm and the deli was empty. Not good for a large supermarket.

  • Allan Bevin

Friendly staff and a great range to choose from. New layout of shop makes it better for what to get now. Love the new trolleys alot easier to push around

  • Anubis Oz

Always love this Woolies as easy to park most days.Great specials this week. Also very happy with the Disney Ooshies. So many products to get bonus ones.

  • Andrew Poulsen

  • Melinda Rainbow

I love this place staff are very approachable and don't treat me like a third country person. Stuff is always available barely low on stock.

  • Edith Steele

Very efficient, polite, handed out a free face mask. All, during a rush of shoppers because of 3 day lock down starting today from 5pm.
