Woolworths is located at 159 Osborne Rd Mitchelton QLD 4053, Brookside Shopping Centre precinct. I've always found Woolworths Brookside store to be one of the best in Brisbane, they always have well stocked shelves, great specials & plenty fresh produce which is always available & well presented. Other factors that I've always found useful are the Kerb side pick & home delivery service, which are two great services provided by Woolworths. I find that management & the loyal staff go the extra mile to ensure nothing is left to chance to ensure fantastic customer service. The past couple of years have been tough with Covid-19 restrictions, but this Woolworths outlet has always stood the test of time. With the Festival Season fast approaching, this will be a great opportunity for people looking at receiving great service & wonderful produce to shop at Woolworths Brookside.
I am so lucky that I live near a Woolworths. It is a low-cost and convenient supermarket. Whenever I have money, this is the first place I go to shop. They have a good variety of groceries and fresh food items, which is important for me because I am trying to eat healthier. The produce section has a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, and other vegetables, such as lettuce and potatoes. They also have some exotic fruit items like star fruit which is great! The big bonus about shopping at Woolworths is the low prices they offer on many of their food items, which helps me save money by not having to buy certain things that are very expensive elsewhere.
The service was excellent and friendly. The location overlooked the sea, with beautiful views. Inside and outside seating was available. Also, dogs were welcome outside ( but not on the balcony). The food was excellent ( we had lunch), with a good selection of starters, entrees, and mains. The drinks menu was complete (they also had a non-alcoholic beer). While there are cheaper places to eat, the restaurant is very popular. Main meals were $30-$50. Staff were turning people away because the seating was full. If you go there, book early and ask for a seat near the front window, or ( in good weather) outside on the balcony. Lovely !
Gave five stars for the lady on self serve registers. Shame that the older of the two ladies working in the service deli provides such a rude & poor customer service this afternoon. Very rude no customer service skills. It was an effort for her to walk from the deli to the meat unit counter. You lose five stars due to the pathetic customer service from the cranky pants in the deli. No name badge, I wonder if this is her way of customers not knowing her name to complain about. You lose five stars due to the deli dragon lady
Can't comment on the physical store as I do my in-store shopping at Coles, however, their Direct to Boot service is fantastic. I order and pay online, they text me to say when my order is ready for pick up in my selected time slot, I can then indicate when I'm on my way (so they can have my order ready to go) and when I arrive in the designated bay, I can indicate when I've arrived and they bring out my order within minutes. So convenient and it saves me so much time. Overall, will continue to use Direct to Boot.
The woman serving at the front of the shop was acting very suspicious and shaking very very nervously and that told me that she was doing something wrong instore and the prices of things were very irregularly high I won't be shopping there again and the Optus credit that I wanted to buy was supposed to be rejected after she pressed a button which was also very suspicious it seems like she cancelled the Optus transaction I feel like I have been discriminated against
Only negative about Woolworths was the lack of the smaller trolleys. There were plenty in the car park. They need to get better trolley collection staff. They certainly outshine Coles at the other end of Brookside where I went shopping first and couldn't get all the groceries I wanted A highlight of my Woolworths shopping experience was the existence of store directories at the end of most aisles. These were missing from Brookside Coles
This Woolworths is a modern store. It has been built on part of the Bracken Ridge Hotel site. It also has a Post Office and Chemist attached. I have always found the store to be well stocked on every day I go into do shopping. They also have a fresh fruit stand for the kids to have a free piece of food. I think this is a good thing to do, anything we can do to encourage kids to eat fresh fruit instead of sugar ladened junk food.
I just went through self serve at woolworth's brookside and Donna was checking peoples bags and when it was my turn to go the self serve checkout i put my items through in a aggressive tone Donna said before you zip your bag up i want to check it so i had to take everything out of the bag and i felt like she was accusing me of stealing in other words she was saying I was a thief.
Look out for shortdated dairy at this store. Bought some milk on my weekly shop with only 3 days expiry, called store to seek a replacement with a normal (over 7 days) expiry. Was told this was not possible, then I asked to speak to the manager, I was then hung up on. Attempts to call back and phone consistently rang out. Really poor customer service.
We went through the pickup for groceries & it was chaos, when the staff put it right in your car was so much more efficient, now they bring it out, you have to load it & then they take the trolly back inside. We had at least 8 cars in front of us & another 8 behind by the time we got out order, whoever thought of this mess should be sacked on sight.
The pool will Brookside need to be re-modelled the one in Everton Park is better layout and Brookside Brookside needs a complete overhaul in the store itself it’s big it’s large a bit clumsy I feel I just need a big redevelopment in store at self sometimes I think woollies to go on its own I know it’s convenient but that’s the truth of the matter
The fruit and veg in this store is rotten a lot of the time. I bought strawberries last night and had to throw them in the bin soon after because they were all mushy. I’ve bought capsicums before and cut them open to find mould on the inside. The packaged lettuce is almost always brown on the bottom and soggy. The list goes on.
Thank you to Matt in Fruit and Veg in Woolworths Brookside. A great asset to the Brookside store. I was in need of advice, Matt was helpful, cheerful and thoughtful. He followed up next day when I was in store for more fruit. Well done for great customer service in Woolworths Brookside Matt.
20% price rise. That's effectively what has happened with the Turkey Mince. The packets used to be 500g and sold 2 for $11. Now they are just 400g and still the same price. This was decided at Head Office. Poor form Woolies. Customers need to speak up to voice concern.
Plenty of stock, friendly staff, good cheap prices, heaps of sections like car accessories like oil, jumper leads, etc, pretty good for a supermarket. Also can buy bedding here, which is cheap and nice to feel. Plenty of room to move around. Great specials.
It's my local and the ONLY reason I'm giving it a low rating js that shelf restock is being done while the store is open. How are we supposed to get what we need with massive pallets of boxes in the way. Do restock when the store is closed please.
A little dirty for a reasonably large Woolworths. Had to get staff to clean some mess. Reasonably well stocked, though sometimes I have to go to smaller stores to get missing items, particularly grocery department. I hope they pick up their game.
A colorfully well presented store! Extensively stocked with fresh produce & daily & weekly specials! Everything you need in a SUPERMARKET! Competitive but reasonable prices! On most products it is cheaper than Coles! Manuka Honey is sold in
Im consistently disappointed by the the availability of the deli. Each day I turn up the deli is half close by 5pm. Even at 4pm today I cannot request prosciutto sliced because the slicer is closed. Additionally, the seafood section is
This shop is great if you need groceries. It's my favourite Woolies for Click and Collect orders, actually. But if you don't live near here though, I probably wouldn't recommend you make a road trip for shopping... it is just a Woolies.
Not so wheelchair friendly, aisles are a bit tight, nevertheless staff are polite and helpful. Be mindful as heaps of shoppers are senior citizen, it could be slow process at the check-out counter. Helpful staff.
Fantastic service and range at this store. Big thumbs up to Jane in the deli. She was so considerate and helpful. Love the fresh meat and the snags are the best locally made ever. Great range. Great local store.
I will give it a 5 only because I have met staff there that are lovely and take the time for a chat but on the downside woolies need to keep clean floors and make sure rotating stock are at a regular basis.
Standard woolworths experience. Nothing too crazy, nothing too bad. Usually, it has the stock I am after, and employees are friendly. Lines can get a bit busy, but find it's a standard amongst grocers.
Come here regularly. Couldn't find an item - asked staff to assist which they did. They were out of the product but provided alternative product. Staff member was very professional and friendly.
Woolworths at Brookside is a middle range Wollies .. it has a good range, but the store is dated and often has long queues at checkout .. what makes up for that is most of the time good staff
Really good range and variety of products. However, in comparison to its neighbours like Keperra and Everton Park, it lacks Vegan, Gluten free and other alternative dietary products.
Always a great selection of goods at good prices. Staff are friendly and the store is kept very clean. Defintely my go-too woolies; managed very very well :) 5 stars well deserved.
I love this Woolies! Especially the drive through pick up... I order on my app, select a pick up time and Bob's your uncle, groceries to your boot! Couldn't be easier!
Great range, clean store. Very warm though, especially at the registers. Maybe the air-conditioning needs a service. Staff and customers were visibly sweating.
Going down hill. More staff picking orders than helping customers in store. Don't ask for a checkout to be opened even if you have a trolley full of groceries.
Great service from two friendly team members, one in fresh fruit and vegetables, the other on check out. Both naturally talkative and helpful. Thanks you two!
Very sad that they have almost removed all customer service. With the introduction of the new cashier packing, it seems a push to get people to pack they own.
Clean, very busy and has great variety of fruit, vegetables, meat, chicken, fish and sea food. The checkout young lady that served us was great at her job.
My favourite Woolies. Fruit and Veggies are fresh and they are big enough to stock a large range. Friendly staff top off a pleasant shopping experience.
Useful tip: shop here in the hour before closing and you will find a far less crowded shop with reduced exposure to any contagious. It's also quicker.
Lovely and friendly staff when you enter the store and very helpful for your business. Just love the way they go about helping you find what you need
Alright. Gets busy.. Especially weekends and Thursdays (pension day), has good produce and a butcher. They also have sushi, made fresh in the store.
Busy supermarket inside the shopping centre. Standard Woolies layout. Checkout lines (including self serve) can get long here during peak times.
Sadly have to give one star as the sushi Izu place inside has a serious issue with the staff and thw woolworths employees weren't able to help
Experience was great until we come across Irena at the Service Desk, to busy talking to other staff members,,, thinks she 20 years old.
You have Woolworths and Big W how could you possibly go wrong. It can get very busy but it's great to shop. And has great kebabs.
Great local Woolies. Easy parking, even on weekends and always well stocked. Would avoid on Saturday's between 9am and midday.
I mostly do my groceries there. It caters to my needs and staffs are super helpful to help me find the stuffs I need.
These guys at Woolworths are always super friendly, and their reduced price is a goldmine for a broke person! :)
Lower pricing however you would need to compare with last year and the year before to make a correct comparison
One of my favourite Woolies in Brisbane. Always has what I need for Gluten free products. Staff are friendly.
Adding an extra star for Shirley. She packs the bags wonderfully. She's also fantastic at customer service.
No complaints about Woolies at Mitchelton. The fruit is generally a step up compared to nearby stores.
Large Woolies inside Brookside shopping centre, undercover carpark or open air parking available.
Best time to come is in the late afternoon - after 5pm so there isn't too many people here
easily one of the best Woolworths in Queensland, the staff are amazing and super efficient
Never have a problem finding my purchases. Staff are very helpful. Easy parking there too.
Well stocked with fresh produce and a wide range of goods. Reasonable pricing
Like it. Easy to find parks after lunch hours. Friendly staff, good service.
Always great Customer Service in finding things!..we're Seniors!.. …
The staff were very helpful when I was using the self serve checkout
Shops like BigW, Coles and food, shoes, books, bank, and medical.
I always find it easy to locate what I require at the time.
Good variety of products. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Was busy today due to Labour day public holiday tomorrow
Great convenience and reasonably priced.
Same old woollies. Got all you need.
Nice clean shop with friendly staff.
Long wait at checkout Only 2 open.
Always have everything I need.
Staff are always very helpful.
