Worst service I’ve ever had. I am staying with my relative in palliative care which is stressful enough. First day ordered scrambled eggs with avocado got fried eggs with avo on toast and pepper which i am allergic too. When i took it back the woman was very rude, accused me of asking for salt and pepper, made a big fuss of throwing it in the bin and then threw a stainless steel bucket on the floor. Second day ordered scrambled egg no salt or pepper and was rudely informed they don’t put salt and pepper on it i have to get my own at the front. Then ordered a hot choc on soy and got a flat white. When i said that’s not what I ordered the man rudely said well it’s on your receipt now ill have to throw it out! I would have taken it but i dont drink coffee. Please pick up your game cafe staff! Hospitals are stressful enough without putting up with this.

Food was ok, some was a bit greasy. Not much selection that was ready to go. But not impressed that couldn't get full strength coca cola drink! But why is there display cabinets full of cake, cookies & slices! I don't drink tea or coffee, which I sure I could of got a sugar satchel but cant enjoy a full sugar coke! Shouldn't it be my choice what I can buy & consume...

The only thing is that when they make the coffee orders they make alot at the same time in which this means you stand there for longer, even the hospital staff have to wait longer as well then thier coffee breaks are shorter because if this problem. Could they make the coffee and call the number straight away.

Absolutely terrible food choices for a hospital. Nothing healthy available today at all, no salads or any decent options. I was happy to have a piece of lasagna but the pieces were big & they wouldn't let me have half the size with veggies....will make sure i eat before i go back there next time!

Staff are rude and have poor attitude. They make you feel like you're an inconvenience for even asking for any food. People aren't in the hospital because they want to be. The least you can do is be polite. If you dont want to be there, I'm sure there is plenty of people who could replace you.

Please make a coffee drinkable.Coffee taste is always inconsistent and below average. This is the only one cafe at the hospital. No competition and no improvement. Coffee I had today was terrible like water and luke warm. Huge difference compared to cafe at next door st vincent hospital.

Went here today. I had ordered a coffee only although it was quite busy, they managed to make the coffees fast and efficient. If you like strong coffee, make sure you ask for an extra shot. I did forget to ask. However, it was still pretty good.

Very disappointed that on a Saturday the cafe tea and coffee was not available from 2:30 in the afternoon. I did not realise that there were no patients or visitors requiring refreshments on Saturday afternoons. They could have more vegan options. The vending machine was good.

Horrible coffee: tasted as though a dash of skim milk was used in a full cream milk latte and coffee tasted rough; both at Breeze Cafe and the small coffee bar at the main entrance. I really love coffee and visit the hospital often, so wish the coffee situation would improve.

What an awesome hospital cafe. Well organised staff. Hot and cold choices and inside and outside seating. I've eaten in a lot of hospital cafes. This one is a pleasant change from the every day. Merlo coffee, very nice blend. Bring your own keep cup to encourage others

Very good coffee and it was lovely to sit outside with my friend who is a patient so she could see her dog who she hadn't seen for days ...

Unfortunately because I visit the hospital a few times a year I visit the cafe at the same time. The cafe has an excellent selection of hot and cold food. They serve good coffee that is always welcome. I have never had a bad meal or experience here.

Let's be honest, they have a captive audience - there is no competition and as a result, staff are rude at best, making you feel like they are doing us a favour just being there. Given the number of staff working, I don't understand how

Best hospital cafe iv ever been to Good vegan options Very refreshing Enjoyed a lovely lunch Was surprised and excited by the choices. The food was fresh and delicious and a fair price. Looking forward to my next time there

As far as hospital food goes this gets an A plus, only thing I could spot of concern was its distance from the main entry. If you happen to be on crutches(as was l), it is a long hobble to get back to heading home.

  • Susan Foreman

The young woman who served me was so lovely to talk to, she didn't look at me strangely because I was wearing a face mask. The staff were absolutely a wonderful blessing to all the patients who passed through.

Good coffee, good (not great) foods both hot & cold, small range of pre-packaged snacks (drinks, chips, biscuts) care packages, newspapers and a tiny selection of magazines (mostly women's).

  • Stuart Currington

The Breeze Cafe has had quite a makeover since I last visited it a few years ago . It would seem for the better, with the menu varieties appertising, and the prices quite reasonable.

This is the Cafe at Prince Charles Hospital. Great place to grab a snack, lunch or coffee, eat in or takeaway. Has a few shelves of personal needs too.

  • Wendy Preston

Good open space, well utilised by staff. Love to see how much coffee they get through in a day. Good friendly efficient service.

  • Neil Tomkins
