"You have lost the business of 7 people after that menu change, you went from somewhere people would go out of the way for to basic food you cook at home, the big breakfast with avo, tomato, relish, potato balls, bacon, eggs for 18$ was the best breakfast i have had, i always recommend this place due to the great price and outstanding food on offer, even if you raised it to 20$ people would still buy it"

"i ordered the potato hash cakes which i have had before and are usually Delicious! firstly there were not many people at the cafe however the order seemed to take a long time to come out, secondly our coffee's were luke warm, thirdly we were a table of 4 and the first order came out 10 minutes before the rest of the meals fourthly when i got my hash cakes they tasted foul and i believe either they were not cooked properly or were off"

Fantastic little sidewalk cafe with a brilliantly designed menu. Simple but with that 'wow factor' one looks for when dining out. Both my husband and I live in the suburb, and just love how this cafe has really injected some personality into the place. Breakfast and lunch is always 10/10 everytime we go - on average we usually visit every second weekend or so. Consistency is key, and alot of places usually fail in this area, but Sunday's obviously has the right staff and maintains their quality of service and product very well. I love that most of the staff working there are also quite young, as a little cafe like Sunday's is a great place to gain experience in hospitality and I applaud them for giving these young people such opportunities. The big picnic tables outside are also fantastic when we have family over, as is saves us from being crammed in amoungst everyone else - only issue is around peak hour when all the seats are taken, but first in best dressed I guess, as long as those that have snagged a table are being considerate of others, I expect the tables turn over well enough. Overall, great little cafe. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the suburb, and keep up the great work Sunday's!

You have lost the business of 7 people after that menu change, you went from somewhere people would go out of the way for to basic food you cook at home, the big breakfast with avo, tomato, relish, potato balls, bacon, eggs for 18$ was the best breakfast i have had, i always recommend this place due to the great price and outstanding food on offer, even if you raised it to 20$ people would still buy it. Now you offer the basic bacon and eggs with hashbrowns, why fix what is not broken? its 16$ and flavourless food that you would not even drive 2 minutes down the road for, talking to one of the ladies serving about the menu change and she said people wanted a more basic menu so now its gone from a 10/10 to a 2/10. I hope you change the menu back to the excellent quality it was before, even charge more for it as i would definitely still pay and come down often with other people. Now you've gone from being a favourite breakfast spot to being a place you eat at when you have no other options, goodluck with the business and reconsider another menu change.

i ordered the potato hash cakes which i have had before and are usually Delicious! firstly there were not many people at the cafe however the order seemed to take a long time to come out, secondly our coffee's were luke warm, thirdly we were a table of 4 and the first order came out 10 minutes before the rest of the meals fourthly when i got my hash cakes they tasted foul and i believe either they were not cooked properly or were off. i said this to the waiter and they said yeah we threw that batch out! i then ordered another meal off the menu with no offer of compensation and i asked for the poached egg to be hard as i am pregnant and can not eat raw egg. what do you know the poached egg came out runny. i took my meal back and asked for a refund. unfortunately we will never be back and we will never recommend this cafe!

Sunday’s cafe is new to Rocklea. I’m glad they’ve came along! The location is perfectly quiet to get away from the city rush and still remain close enough to the city! Perfect cafe to stop for a coffee in transit or take your time with a beautiful breakfast or lunch menu! The service at Sunday’s cafe has been nothing but outstanding day in day out! I come to Sunday’s nearly every week day for my coffee and have never had a drama. The menu here is very unique in its own way and that’s what makes Sunday’s so good! Anything you chose to have from the menu, you’ll be greeted with quality food at a fair price! Good range across the menu for all types of palettes! Would recommend to friends!

Oh dear, worst coffee I have had in a very long time! I specifically asked if there were two shots in the iced lattes… and was told yes. There is NO WAY this coffee had two shots let alone one. When I asked/complained I was quite literally ignored! As for a quiet corner??? The noise of the construction works across the road at the station meant we could not hear ourselves think! The food was okay, but our experience will not have us running back anytime soon, well actually never!

A nice place to eat, great food and service, can sit on the footpath outside and it's on a quiet street. Parking can be an issue close by, but there are usually enough nearby to satisfy. As always the food and atmosphere make up for the lack of easy parking during busy times.

We go at least fortnightly as live in the area. Consistently great. Our faves are the brekkie burger, mushroom fields, avo and toast (w a twist of beetroot) and the very berry smoothie. Reasonably priced, great cabinet selection of cakes/slices and family friendly.

Amazing cafe tucked away on a quiet suburban street. This is the sort of place that has a line around the corner and 20 minute wait for a table in other areas - it is that good. Based on what we ate and what we saw being delivered to the tables around us, I have no doubt everything on the menu would be good. The housemade baked goods in the cabinet were exceptional as well - not to be overlooked. Great service and coffee to boot. Look forward to returning soon.

What a delightful hidden gem this place is! Located conveniently just opposite the Rocklea train station, this cafe bursts with such a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere. Having tried multiple dishes here, I can wholeheartedly say that they've been delicious and consistent each time. The staff are amazing and always accommodating. A must try!

Staff were lovely and the vibe is cool. Very clean with sunny and shady footpath seating. My tea was disappointing sadly as the water was warm not hot. A friend mentioned later that her coffee is always warm too not hot. I'm wondering if it's a Plumbing/Council issue perhaps. My pastry was nice however it wasn't same day fresh. It had that firm refrigerated taste to it. Not everyone is as fussy as we are though.

  • Zeglar “Zeg” Fergus

Great find in suburban Rocklea, just opposite the train station. Nice café, well run with very friendly and efficient staff. Choice of indoor seating, or outdoor under the old shop awning, either good. Plenty of street parking adjacent. The food and snacks are great, and so is the coffee. This has become a regular stop for us. Note for those with access problems, there are a couple of steps up off the footpath.

Food was awesome. However the girl that didn't hear me say SOY flat white could have been more gracious about her error. I'm allergic to milk so I certainly did not ask for a full cream coffee. Less impressed the same coffee came out with a bit of soy splashed in it. And yes I did have a mouthful and it was milk in there. Not cool young lady. Not cool at all.

Jumped off the train and saw this lovely looking cafe across the way. Dropped in for a coffee, which was okay, but for the 20 minutes I sat there the guy making the coffee, serving the food and chatting to customers had his mask down on his chin. Friendly bloke, but he should realise that protecting his chin from Covid offers no protection to customers.

Perfections, Sundays absolutely delivered. Friendly staff reasonably priced, family friendly. The kids meals even came out with children's cutlery. But the best bit of all was the food, eggs perfect, bacon thick and delicous, chutney was scrumptious. Highly recommended.

As a bus driver I quite often pop over to grab a coffee but today I caught up with hubby and decided to try their menu. Not disappointed, we shared the Aussie Burger and a serve of fries to which hubby was so happy as he loves shoe strings fries. They were happy to two plate it for us. It’s definitely a come again place. More

Such cute vibes! This little café has some tasty food that took a while but was fairly worth the wait. I got the Wagyu burger whit was tasty, had a lil kick in the back with the siracha (I don't remember what was in the burger by now) and my sister had the signature hash which she seemed to enjoy as well. Happy brunching!

Lovely spot for breakfast; sitting in the sun drinking a coffee, watching the world go by. The food is pretty good too. I had the eggs and mushroom on brioche bread. The eggs and mushroom were fabulous, but the brioche bread really let it down. I will be requesting sourdough or the next time, but great food!

Popped in 1st time for a quick lunch with a business colleague today; the pad-thai @ $15.50 was super disappointing! Most ''non-Thai'' dish ever..little flavour, authenticity or quality ingredients or spice and kitchen had no chilli sauce

$6.50 for one cinnamon scroll?? I’d only ever spend that much if it were bam bam bake house because their quality is top notch. The overpriced scroll I received was very dry and didn’t taste very nice. Disappointed :(
