From a few months ago, there was a problem with small leaks inside the faucet in the laundry room, and the Ziplocs got wet and moldy. I thought it would be expensive, so I kept delaying it, but decided to get plumbing service because the problem got worse. It was $200 when I took a picture of the problem and then gave Andrew an estimate by phone. Andrew came and solved the problem in a short time, much easier than I thought. There were other problems. It wasn't a big problem right now, but I showed a cold water rusty faucet in the yard leaking little by little and bathroom faucet. He said he could fix it now right now. He had been receiving calls from two other customers and looking busy. I actually expected the amount to be substantial. Andrew was very professional in fixing them as well. Moreover, when I discussed the issue of having to install another washing machine, he helped me in detail with realistic advice. He offered only $160 for it. I thought it was less than what he did and offered $200, but he refused. Then I forced him to take just another twenty dollars, but he refused in the end. He received less than the estimated cost. I have received several plumbing services from other plumbing services so far, but the charge was too expensive, so I hesitated this time. I've never used plumbing services as honestly as Andrew with perfect workmanship. I will continue to use Andrew only when I need plumbing service. I will actively recommend Andrew to those I know. Andrew has done numerous jobs on my house over the past two years. Replacing water lines, mixer tap installs, sewer work, shower traps. New gas line for the kitchen. More, but i forget. All done to a high standard, very reasonable prices. On time and with no fuss. Have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to my family and friends, as i know the price charged will be fair, but more importantly the work will be done to a high standard. My Reno's are hopefully nearing completion, as such no more need for a plumber "fingers crossed" will miss our chats. If you need a plumber, don't be fooled by using the large mobs with overpricing, call Andrew you'll save money and get a great job. All my work has been listed on a written bill: and certified with the government when needed, ie gas work. Need more convincing, on one occasion, he noticed an issue with the gas meter, called the authority. Within an hour had a new breather installed by them, no charge to me. Didn't even know i had an issue . He cares.

Rheem gas water heater decided to rupture it's tank after a valiant 17 years. I decided to ring around some local tradies and settled on Andrew (Plumbing and Gas Man, Aberfoyle Park). Andrew was brilliant with advising different systems and explaining how they would suit my needs realistically without any real sales pressure. Within a few hours of the water heater going down, he had a new one fully installed and up and running. No fuss, no drama, just good solid workmanship. He clearly and thoroughly explained what was happening during the install and fixed up a few pre-existing issues, leaving me feel the installation is as safe as it can be. I would definitely recommend his services and have saved his details for the next plumbing job I need doing.

Had a plumber install a new hot water service in our house who then detected a gas leak in our system that they could not find and quoted me literally thousands of dollars to replace all the gas piping in our house, called Andrew for a second opinion who promptly came to our home to assess the situation. Returned later that week spent a couple of hours tracing our system and found the leak and it only ended up costing me a few hundred dollars, i wish we had called Andrew in the first place. We had our main stormwater drain pipe broken due to a tree root. I contacted Plumbing and Gas Man and he provided with 3 options to go for the repairs. He explained all the options and I picked up one option and I've got all scheduled within the following week. The work was done quick and with good quality. After the works the area was left clean and tidy. I defenitely will use his services again!
