Awesome food! I almost gave this place after the first visit when it first opened ~yrs ago. Then was convinced that they may have upped the ante a bit. So I went there with my family for a second round. I was shocked. I couldn't believe I'd let this gem slide passed me after years of avoidance. The food was spectacular, and the service was good, although I think a couple more wait staff would be good, but in the current crisis, I can understand a shortage of staff. The only downfall I can moan about is the pepper and salt grinders! They are labelled with tacky sticky tape and a note saying "pick me up from the bottom" which I, nor anyone else would notice unless studying them without first picking them up, leaving pepper corns or salt crystals strewn across the table. . Being at the Cafe for 1 hr and it happened not only to us, but 2 other tables. The wait staff said it was a very common daily occurrence (as you'd imagine). For the cost of the wasted pepper & salt they're probably hammering through I would imagine a new set of grinders would save them money within a week or 2! I will definitely be visiting again! Delicious! But for the love of God, please buy some new grinders!

Jin and the staff at Pitch and Fork were amazing! We had a group of 15 people and 2 babies for brunch to celebrate a birthday and the whole morning was absolutely seamless! We did a food/drink preorder which was a super easy process with frequent communication between myself and Jin. Jin was super helpful sending through a template for us to fill out and answered text messages very quickly. All of the coffees came out 10mins after we arrived and all the food came out all at one 10mins after that, which was no easy feat! Jin also checked what time we wanted the food to arrive on the table via a message the day before which was super helpful as well. Food was great as always and the staff were super helpful throughout and splitting the bill was super easy. Can’t thank Jin and the team and recommend them enough! Such a great spot as well for a big group as the space is nice and open.

- We ordered 2 Pitch breakfast and it was so disappointing - Hashbrowns had no taste, it tasted like a rotten vegetable and I’m not even exaggerating. Was looking forward to the hashbrowns most of all and it tasted like a raw lettuce leaf, that is the best way i could describe it, try it for yourself and you’ll see. - They messed up our order (coffee) as the waiter didn’t write down what we asked for, just tried to memorise things. - Spinach was too salty and bacon wasn’t cooked properly (just fried on high heat and flipped to make it brown) I guess it’s a good restaurant because of the location and view but that’s all it can provide. - Hot chocolate was literally made of chocolate sauce with hot milk, instead of the normal chocolate powder and all. literally a dessert drink? This breakfast and experience really killed our mood, was planning to have a good Monday morning breakfast but pitch and fork said nope! Did not want to pay for it, I felt like I didn’t even have breakfast just $60 plates worth of disappointment.

Bought a caramel thick shake. Coffee drinks and medium sized meals. Expensive but so fresh and delicious. 90%full and mine is ready in 10 minutes tasting so yummy. The atmosphere is cosy with small blankets given out in winter. I've been there a few times and always leave happy and sufficient. Hard to always find a table every time I go almost cause it's popular. Just enough parking and disabled parking but hard access and room to have a wheelchair fit it's so full of tables and chairs. They have a good variety of different choices for every different dietary requirements. Toilets within center not far away but not sure if disabled ones. Breakfast and lunch but they close around 3.00pm so no dinner meals. I'm more than happy to go there often. Child friendly and park beside it to play on swings, slide and so on with seat's all around to watch kids or just relax.Hope I was helpful for you.

Lovely spot, but very, very underwhelming experience. Service was abysmal with the waiters more focused on chatting to each other than tending to patrons. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, despite a number of seats available. Once we were seated, we waited another thirty minutes to have our orders taken despite other customers who walked in after us receiving service. Doesn’t seem to be any system at all in service. Granted, it was pretty busy and I convinced myself these things happen so it wasn’t worth writing a review. Then we got out food. $25 for a Reuben sandwich that was not even slightly toasted. Impossible to pick up and eat like a normal sandwich on account of being so soggy, washed down with a $9.50 smoothie that tasted like ice water and berry seeds as the honey wasn’t blended into it, just poured into the bottom of the glass. Disappointing and expensive lesson this morning.

Unfortunately would no longer recommend. Food and drinks are great, but service over the last few visits has been sub-par. Today we were told before being seated there would be a 35 minute wait for food and we agreed that was fine and were seated. But, like the last couple of times (and on less busy days), it seems that customers are forgotten about after being seated and have to make the effort to get a waiter’s attention just to order. Waiters were more focused on reorganising table configurations and seating more customers than attending to customers already seated. Others who were seated after us were also apparently served. We ended up leaving and can’t see ourselves coming back. Really unfortunate as we like the place, perhaps consider adopting an order at the counter style service?

Tucked away inside/next to Memorial Park in Toowong, this cafe is outdoors but fully covered and had amazing breezes coming through when we were there. The views of the football field next door was great - can never get enough greenery right . Our food: ~ Fish and Chips ~ Pitch Benedict /w Ham ~ Iced Oat milk Mocha & Long Black ☕️ . The food came out pretty quickly and happy to say that it was a solid brunch. The fish and chips came with a side of salad, plus that crumbed fish fillet was pretty big . The Benedict was good too - the best part was the house made potato hash! . It’s a pup friendly cafe too, so Wifey’s looking forward to bringing our Bailey here at some stage

First time at Pitch and Fork. The ambiance surrounding the cafe is nice. Our drinks came out quick and both our drinks are really good. Coffee has a good flavour and strong and the iced chocolate is very chocolatey. For food we had the pitch, the bacon was cooked well and the highlight was the tomato chutney. The knife was blunt and unable to cut through the toast. We also had the karaage chicken burger that came with chips. Chips was crispy and had good flavour. The Japanese Mayo dip for the the chips was also good. The brioche bun was fresh. The let down was the chicken. It was so thin and only half the size of the bun. The thinnest part are also mostly just breading so it tasted like I'm just eating the bun.

This cafe offers a superb dining experience with a large menu offering something for everyone’s taste and dietary needs. Gluten, dairy, vegan options are available on a large selection of menu items. A large range of coffee/tea options are available. Outdoor seating is under cover. Service staff are very helpful and attentive. The cafe caters for all size groups. It is so popular that reservations on weekends are a must. Great value/menu pricing as well. Experience an amazing breakfast/brunch experience in Toowong!

Incredibly nice brunch stop just off Corronation Drive. The setting for this cafe is perhaps its best feature, completely open alfresco dining looking onto the adjoining sports field, you can really waste the day away looking out into the surrounds. The all-day menu is quite diverse spanning from fritas, chicken burgers, lamb wraps to poke bowls. The drinks list is equally interesting and satisfying; my entire table ordered the cold-drip brew and we were all impressed. The prices here are mid-range to expensive but not without good reason, and despite this the atmosphere is calm and casual.

  • Jordan Tselepy

Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning with my partner. Food was delicious, but took a long time to come out, especially considering the place wasn’t packed. There also didn’t seem to be particular staff assigned to particular tables/sections, so we had rotating service, and that service wasn’t great - reminded me of The Corner Store actually - very begrudging and not friendly. Otherwise, convenient off-street parking, and a beautiful location! Would probably come back for the location and the food, but wouldn’t make it a regular stop.

  • Matt

Good coffee, most of the food was good but the wagyu beef burger came with maple syrup which wasn’t stated on the menu but according to the chef was part of the meal. In all fairness we all gave it a try and it wasn’t that bad but I just felt like it should have been on the menu. Personally I disliked the addition but I can see that others might like it. Decent service but no one apologised and we just felt a little annoyed about it.

Situated on top of a small set of concrete stairs and overlooking an oval and sports club, this cafe offers a very nice and relaxing place to enjoy either breakfast or lunch. Good mix of menu options. I went with something more healthy and ordered the acai bowl. The bowl turned out to be a large plate and serving size was huge. It was very refreshing obviously quite filling. Price-wise it is reasonable. Parking is plentiful with street parking and on site parking available.

  • Michael Benson

The gluten free burger bun was nice, but the acai smoothie was mediocre, the ham and cheese croissant was disappointing, and the coffee was bitter. The place felt more like a sporting club than I'd expected and there was loud building construction going on accross the street (Saturday morning). On a positive note, the survice was quick.

I do love this cafe personally however it takes way too long to grab a cup of coffee when im busy. It is great when you have time to grab a cup of coffee with brunch but not really recommended when you are in a rush. If that was just fixed abit then everything would be perfect. The atmosphere here is great though.

Food took about 30mins. Ordered a big breaky meal, food was warm, bland and actually made us both feel sick towards us nearly finishing our meals. Because of that, I can't really rate the restaurant more than a 2 stars if I can't finish my meal because it makes me feel sick... However, the service was solid and the view/location is great.

Lovely surroundings. I had an iced latte which came out quickly and was good. The waitstaff are prompt and professional, though I wouldn't say overly friendly. It is incredibly expensive, even for a breakfast spot in Toowong. It was busy but that seems pretty normal and everything was under control. It's got a nice breeze (helped along by ceiling fans) which was necessary since it's outside. Also it's dog friendly.

  • Deborah

Food great, service pleasant (they were every busy). Strange location for such a thing anyway and it was blowing an absolute gale through there. I wouldn't want to be there in the cold Atmosphere is not really present in a very open outdoor place like this.

After a relatives health scan, we duck around the corner to this cafe for lunch. The food is delicious and the coffee is pretty good. The pasta had a very different distinct flavour (loved it) with my mum and I shared a big breakfast. These were enough for us. Be careful of the birds stealing your food though!

Not your typical cafe setting at Pitch & Fork. Set atop a flight of stairs overlooking the sport field, it's clearly somewhere for the locals and local workers. Service is very friendly, the menu is diverse in its offerings and the karaage chicken burger I had was very nice. Juicy and generous nubs or chicken, nice soft charoal bun and just enough mayo to melt it all together.

Warm welcoming staff.. drinks and food came out so fast even when they were absolutely packed. And 100% worth the money and wait , I ordered the sticky chai and nourish bowl, and both blew me away with the quality of fresh ingredients and balance of flavours and care in presentation. Every detail is well thought out. Amazing work guys , thank you !!

Zucchini & Ricotta fritters and Kids Pancakes are awesome! The fritters are crunchy, soft and creamy work well with prosciutto, poached eggs and lemon herb aioli. The pancakes are fluffy and happy with the bacons included. It's good place for family with kids. They have a large space and plenty of car parks.

Lovely cafe with great views and atmosphere. Service, coffee and tea was pretty average. Tried: ¤ mushroom - pretty basic dish, lacked flavours as it is quite bland. The potato cake was lovely tho ¤ kimchi fritters - interesting flavours, quite dense and doughy. Didn't really compliment the pumpkin puree

Today we ordered a burger.... It was inedible... The manager was not interested (i felt sorry for the person serving though they were nice and i was polite) .... but i was glad i had my dog with me and he was able to have some. Unbelieveably bad on food and interest in customers. Must be new owners.

Nice cafe in the middle of the park. Coffee was great, service was friendly and efficient, the poke bowl is quite nice and come with large portions. I couldn't finish it. Haven't tried other food on the menu but ot all seem yummy to me. Will be back Just love the green background and park atmosphere

  • Wendy Lo

Really liked this place for Breakfast (I did check the menu and reviews before I brought my friend along). We enjoyed the food and friendly service. Only thing I would recommend would be better signage as we weren't sure we had arrived at the right place and had to ask as we came up the stairs!

  • Rob Jack

Slightly odd spot for a cafe (pressed against the local clubhouse) but a lovely shady space for breakfast or lunch. Excellent selection of all day options, the breakfast burger was absolutely delicious. Coffee also excellent and service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back.

Disastrous customer service. They are totally disorganised, and this creates a chaotic environment. Delays in orders and the queue logic simply does not exist. The only positive thing was the easy parking and the coffee.

Great food, convenient local spot. This cafe is super popular and I can understand why. Staff advised booking ahead on a weekday if you want a table on a weekend by phone so don't use the facebook or web booking.

Yes!! This place was delicious!!! We had the avo toast with haloumi and the pancakes and it was so tasty. Don’t order the pancakes unless you’re ready for a lot of sweetness will be back here for sure! …

Delicious food and great service. The mocha was very fancy with chocolate flakes on top. Avo on toast was bursting with flavours definitely recommend. We added bacon to it. Will definitely go there again.
