Been to this place a few times now. The food here is fantastic and the owner service was terrific! However , today was disappointing, I brought my parents that are both from Malaysia in their 70’s. It was raining and the outdoor seating was getting wet. Hence we wanted to sit inside. Upon asking the barista if we can be seated inside , she said NO . They don’t accomodate 6 people in their indoor. I saw there were 3 tables available for 6 people, all she needed to do was join one of the table together, even the other waitress was suggesting the same thing. Sadly the barista insisted no, they do not accomodate 6 people indoor. Frankly , it quite disappointing as to my impression, this cafe use to be accomodating and warm to dine in. However this time has totally let me down, I understand if we are 6 adults in mid age, but 6 customers with 2 elderly in the group, I think a little flexibility will be acceptable ? In the end , we were seated in 2 separate tables. Food pictures for evidence of what we ordered and spent. Not a FAKE competitor review.

If you're looking for a nice local and lowkey place for some breakfast, this is the place. Let's start with the food. My missus and I ordered some chips to share, breakfast burrito and eggs benny with roast pork. Each bite of the roast pork had the crunchy crackling. There were a good amount of pork too! The hollandaise sauce was good and the portion size of the dish was good for the price. My missus had bbq sauce and onions removed from the brekky burrito; it didn't change much of taste. I personally liked it and didn't find it dry without the sauce. My missus could only finish half the burrito cause the sizing was too big for her! Anyways, I forgot to mention I got a large cappuccino and it was nice, good ratio of coffee to foam! Overall the pricing and portion size are perfect!! Now, the atmosphere/decor needs a touch up. The main thing is, the furniture needs an updating as most chairs do look well-worn past their prime.

This is an unexpected find, hidden away amongst the back streets of suburban Algester, part of a small, mainly Asian shopping complex. The food her is absolutely beautiful adn scrumptious. I have had lunch and breakfast here. The service is always very friendly and accommodating. We ask we for ham, cheese and tomato toasties, and even though it wasnt on the menu, they still made it for us. The food is served up fairly quickly and smells delicious and looks very fresh. There is a good selection for breakfast, including bacon and eggs. Lunch options are quite a lot, from your traditional Australia food, as well as Vietnamese options. The Banh mi was very fresh, and as per usual, scrumptious. The coffee is very tasty and the sizes are appropriate. The prices are all average with nothing being too expensive.

Used to go here once every 1-2 weeks since start of Feb. Initially was going rate a 4 star - only minus was the price respective to its location and atmosphere. But I usually like to give the place a few tries before writing a review. Unfortunately, today was a big 1 star experience. I ordered multiple banh mi for takeaway. All of them were missing coriander. The bread was stale (unlike usual) and the meat too. Had much more unusual spices that normally isn't on their meat - tasted like they were trying to cover something up. Called the store to ask if the menu changed / if the banh mi no longer has banh mi in it. The waiting staff went to ask the kitchen staff, who only then informed the waiting staff that the cafe does not have any coriander in stock. No action to address the situation. Would've been better if they told us before we placed and picked up the order. We wouldn't have ordered it in the first place if we knew. Such a shame as I bought all those banh mi to get my family to try our their food - no one was impressed

We've been to this Cafe for the past 5 years since they've opened. However the last 2 visits have been sup par to what we've been used to. Both were on Saturdays. We ordered the Vietnamese ice coffee but it came out with the coffee grains not filtered out so we returned it and showed the waitress the cup. We ordered the meat mashup and asked for an extra plate. We were given a bowl so I politely went to the counter with the bowl and asked for it to be swapped with a plate. The reply I was given was " what's wrong with the bowl" I had to explain to her that I cannot use a knife and fork with a bowl. Absolutely love love loved the Cafe and recommended alot of our friends however I don't think I'll be going back as it looks like there has either been a change in ownership or the owners no longer work weekends. I hope their weekend staff picks up their game a little because this Cafe was one of our favourites.

Had to leave after being ignored by staff. I had my dog with me and wanted to have breakfast. We were standing by the door for ages while the lady in there too busy re-arranging photo frames. No body greeted us. I obviously can’t enter the cafe with my dog. We patiently waited to a point I had to call out to the two staff behind the counter to let them know that we wanted a table outside and pointed out that I got a dog with me. “Sit anywhere” said the staff, again ignored us afterwards. Then we sit outside for like 10mins. No one since then acknowledged our existence. They even walked pass us a couple of times. No one offered menu or asked us to order. I have to point out this was not a busy day- lots of empty tables, staff chatting and rearranging decorations. I’ve had breakfast at PAIISE before and this is the first time this ever happened to me. I guess I’ll just have to avoid the cafe from now on.

Our fave local coffee shop just around the corner. Such lovely staff who really know how to give amazing customer service and welcome us like old friends every time we walk in. The food is exceptional with always changing and evolving menus to keep things fresh. They offer a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The Banh mi’s are the best I’ve had in Brisbane and we often phone in an order for a few and swing past and they’re always fresh and ready to go. They make everything I’ve had so far in house including sauces etc which really give that amazing flavour and general love for their product. Amazing coffees too made exactly to your liking by baristas who know the machine. They also have really instagramable food and coffees/drinks if that’s your thing. A hidden gem in the suburbs that’s definitely worth a visit.

  • Truth 88

Been going here for couple of years, I understand how hard to keep a business going and is totally ok to increase price as nowadays. However, the food quality and staff attitude just not matching near your price tag… which i believe it’s fair to say everyone come here to support local business, but if your local business just taking advantage of inflation and not maintain or improve food quality and train their staff properly, why people come back ? It use to be one of our favourite shop, but now it really just a average cafe with a ridiculous price and greedy owner, not recommend anyone come here for overprice tag and would not come back anymore even we live in the area.

A hidden gem Fantastic coffee and great food. Kid friendly ✅ GF ✅ Lactose free ✅ Vegan ✅ Excellent food. I’ve had the banh mi and pancakes here and both were delicious. There’s a mix of food with Vietnamese food like pho , but also cheeseburgers and the usual breakfast eggs/smashed avo also on offer. ☕️ All your favourite coffee options plus Vietnamese coffee, iced latte and iced tea. They have a gluten free menu and milk options for those who are lactose free or vegan. My kid has intolerances and the staff were happy to make him a special meal that he enjoyed. This is really not the sort of place you’d expect a fantastic cafe. I grew up in the area and I can tell you that this shopping centre used to be deserted and very bleak.

  • Ng D

Firstly, the food was nicely preseand tasty but pricetag was a bit high, location wise. My cappuccino was a bit foamy as you can see in the picture but it wasn't because too much frothing, i reckon they left it on the counter for too long before bringing it out. Lastly the service, one of the staff that was serving our table seemed still in training. When 2 different people asking to move to the same table, you just simply give it to someone who asked first. It's not something that you had to consult your fellow staff members. Also you could've just told another person someone had already asked for this table. Lucky her workmate knew some common senses.

Stepped out of the usual breakfast and went for the Chicken Smash, absolute flavour sensation! The signature tomato soup/broth that nestled, chicken balls, diced chicken breast, tomato's,onion and a sunny side up egg was perfect. It gets better, a crispy banh mi roll was on the side to scoop up any juices.....Heaven. Rather than a coffee to complement this hot meal (which is served in a hot cast iron saucepan) I went the passionfruit, raspberry lemonade, safe to say it wasn't sickenly sweet, but refreshing. Love coming here any time of day food is always on point, staff are always cheery and give good Vibes.

Paisse Cafe is an intriguing spot for anyone seeking a Vietnamese-inspired and modern Australian breakfast. The quality of their food and coffee is impressive, particularly their standout crispy pork Vietnamese salad. However, the service aspect could use some improvement, with the male staff member at the front desk noticeably falling short, though it could be at me or on those days I went, not sure. Despite enjoying the food, the underwhelming service experience leaves me undecided about a return visit.

Totally in love with the cafe! Wonderful and friendly owners and staff! With one visit the owners remembered my name and always greet us with such warmth! The food is fresh and delicious. I need to try the whole menu! I haven’t been to many cafes that offer a range of chocolate - white, milk and dark for their drinks! Most cafes forget about the chocolate drinkers but not these guys! They’ve got us covered! Algester has been in need of a friendly, fresh and delicious cafe! The coffee is also worth a stop in! Keep the great work up Wen and Tran

  • Nani Lee

The food is pretty okay, but the service was bad. One lady who looked like a regular came and ordered the same coffee right after I ordered my coffee.. they were chatting over the counter. They made her coffee first while I was standing there.. then they started to make my coffee when that lady left with her coffee... not the first time I experienced bad service here so no surprise.

Tastes so good! Their Beef pho is fresh and yummy. Soup is rich with lots of punchy flavor and crunchy texture from fresh veggies. My friend ordered the sizzling beef on the stone is also another great choice and I definitely will order next time. Their beef is so tender and the lemongrass is well marinated, not too over seasoning at all. Extra bonus, super friendly service and warm smile from all staffs. Really quick service! Worth of money. Thanks team for all your efforts and really make my day especially our server with ashy hairstyles!

My friend took us for brunch here on the weekend. What a treat! This is the best cafe food We’ve had in a long while. The eggs were really fresh and cooked perfectly and the avocado- wow! The Vietnamese options and salad were superb - crunchy with a delicious dressing. To top it off our Vietnamese coffee was the best we’ve had since Vietnam. Staff were very pleasant and efficient too. Just wish we had one here in Caloundra. It would be an absolute hit. Loved it.

Thankyou google and reviews for leading me to this place. One of the more expensive but best breakfast yet in my brekky journey. So BIG and so YUM! Had super brekky bowl made into vegetarian. They even use Lindt chocolate in their hot chocolate/coffee froth topper. Oh and if you like strong coffee, you'll get it without asking for the extra shot like I always do but won't next time! I see a little dog bowl on the floor so imagine it's dog friendly too.

Cosy corner cafe in Algester with an amazing spread of Vietnamese inspired dishes on their menu. The Meat Mashup (in a hot iron cast) seems to be the popular dish as almost every table around us had ordered it. The warm French baguette was extra soft and the perfect accompaniment to soak up every last bit of the tomato sauce. Bonus points for having a proper gluten free version of their full menu for easier ordering (for those who are on gf diets).

  • RED 99

Ordered Uber and it took 30mins more then expected and once it arrived the coffees were spilt and the food was soaked in coffee all over the bag. The Uber guy said the packaging wasn’t packed properly causing it to tip. I tried putt the food upwards in the bag but it did just tip over and was very unstable.

PAIISE Cafe is a unique cafe nestled in the suburb of Algester, that brings in a modern twist to Vietnamese cuisine. Would definately recommend pho you to try if you're in the area especially with the new arrival of their seasonal summer menu. Coffee is a must try!!! The owner of the store is very hard-working and delivers to produce quality food for us to enjoy. They also do catering. Will definately be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Found this Vietnamese inspired cafe while browsing on Google maps in my local area. My family and I came along and enjoyed beautiful tasting dishes that were well presented and balanced for the families palate. Thank you to the hands of the artists in the kitchen for taking their time for a well worth experience. Blessings and Praise from Van.

Hidden gem in Algester. Food is good, I tried not to order Wagu Beef noodle soup but the ordinary one to compare with other places and it was outstanding. Egg Benedict was perfectly cooked. Coconut coffee frappe should be a bit sweeter but it was nice too. It took us a fair bit of driving to explore this place but it will worth a trip to come back.

  • Gia Le

Food is nicely presented. However the bo ne was not sizzling hot when it was brought out which is quite disappointing. Flavour was bland. The roast pork comes with the chili hash dish was under average. And also pho for $25 is quite a rip off for a local cafe. Overall I would not be coming back.

Good place for a brekkie. Yummy eggs benny although size-wise it's tad small compared to other places. Reached here at 7:30am and was told I can't order brekkie as Chef hasn't reached yet. When I asked how long do I need to wait, “I don't know!” was the response.

Coffee is ok, service is friendly and fast, and place is clean. Compared to other Vietnamese food outlets this place is a bit pricey and inconsistent with taste; they don't get the taste always the same and most of their buns have too much shredded carrots than pork/meat/or chicken so a bit disappointed there.

  • Mily Bock

next level outstanding. Spectacular. Tastebuds went on a sensory and emotional experience like no other. Smashed avo was sensational, coffee was lit, my mate loved the breakfast wrap. Don’t let the dodgy carpark fool you, this place is off the chain !
