Im so disappointing considering the workouts are great, my exprience in the gum was great. I even an to come back in the near future when my schedule became more flexible. Unfortunately, I would highly suggest to not invest your money into their required monthly bank withdraw and that is where get you. They totally scam you on this, even if you don't want to take word for it, read the other reviews. I was hesitant at first because they require a automatic withdraw from your bank account...its just like all the othwr gym memeberships. I followed all of the steps to cancel, just like the contractual agreement language reads. Basically when you cancel, they first tell you that you need to freeze the account. Then you have to wait another month before you can cancel the account, and you cant send in documentation or cancel or speak over the phone. They definitely make it inconvenient, so they tell you that you have to come in and cancle it in person, this is when i started noticing that their customer service changed. All of a sudden they dont want to help and the crazy thing is i know they saved my phone number because i used to call up there to see if there was any extra available spaces for me to get in a class and they always answered...then when i was trying over and over to speak to somone about all the trouble with trying to cancel the membership they stopped answering my call. Thats messed up. I have been up there 3 times, i continue to sign the same paperwork to cancel my membership and they hit my account up again the last 2 months from the day they promised they were going to put it in the computer to cancel it. It is a $100.00 out of my account ever time. They have done this to 3 people i know. Thats a shame Orange Theory is gwtting a pretty bad rep. Companies like this start to become known as all the othees gyms around that rip people off. Think twice before you go talk to them, you will notice they are super sweet to speak with in person but the staff will not care to help you with ending your contract even if you follow the rules. Its pretty said the company is that desperate to suck ever penny they can get out of people. I would suggest if this happens to you, report them to the Better Business Bureau and file a lien against them.

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but I just don't understand the lack of effort here. The workouts are great and the trainers are great. Those are the only good things. I assumed that's all you need to have a great gym, but oddly enough, everything else about this place made it terrible. Maybe I'm skewed because I came from a gym that really supported me and all those that worked out. Maybe that's just not an "OT" thing to do. I haven't been in 3 months and I don't think they have noticed yet. If they have, they don't care. I tried canceling 2 months ago and never received any responses to my texts, voicemails, or emails and yes I get that I need to come in and cancel but couldn't you have answered my calls or emails by telling me that? I would sign up for the morning classes and would be 20th in the queue to get into the class (which is strange because they told me the wait list maxes out at 10, but that definitely wasn't the case). In response to me not being able to get into a class, they told me that I can still show up and see if other people don't show up, and if they don't I can take that spot. I don't want to wake up at 4:30am and go all the way to the gym, only to find out that I won't be able to workout this morning. Went into the gym to cancel today because I noticed that I have been charged again, and "since February is a short month, I will be charged for March as well because we need 30 days notice". And that's just unfortunate for me. If you're looking for a gym or community that is going to support you and your fitness endeavors, I'd look elsewhere. To summarize: 1. Good workouts and trainers 2. No support 3. Gym classes are always maxed out 4. App is terrible 5. Corporate and cold on cancellation policy 6. Not worth it

Wanted to at least try one class but unable to due to ridiculous policies. Booked a class on a Friday for Saturday under the free workout option and then when I arrived Saturday morning, I was told that it was a special class and I couldn’t participate using the free class. The attendant let me reschedule for Tuesday. Which also, maybe design the app better to filter out special days when free workouts can’t be used. Come Tuesday I show up at 6:42pm for the 7pm. Hit traffic on 7th, obviously in my work clothes hoping I could change before class and I’m confused as to where to get help and then this guy, probably named Leo is sitting down behind me by the door and I tell him it’s my first time here and I’m not sure what to do. He tells me in a very sassy way that I’m late and can’t take the class because I had to be there at 6:30pm. All I wanted to do was try this place because my coworkers rave about it and I wanted to participate with them. The least Leo could do was let me in since I showed up Saturday morning and couldn’t even take a class then. He was very unprofessional. Too much sass ruining an experience for someone who was eager to try it out. If you have our email on file, maybe try that. Or calling. Also… I’ve heard from multiple people that some attendants or coaches, whoever decides not to let new people in per this 30 minute policy, actually let people take the class if they’re there 15 minutes before. So enforce it or not. Or tweak your policy because it’s ridiculous how some people can take the class and not follow this 30 minute rule, and then end up like me, stuck in traffic and try and get there as soon as I can and not let me in.

I made an appointment to try first session today at 1230 pm, they ask you to show up 30 minutes early, noon, to fill out paperwork. I was 8 minutes late because I couldn't find the place for my GPS showed it was on the opposite side of the shopping center. They called me to see where I was and directed me to walk through the tunnel and then said they have a 5 minute cut off limit, 1205 pm, and would need to cancel my session since I was past that limit, the class I remind you started at 1230 pm. I was shocked they refused service to a potential new client over a few minutes. I drove 45 minutes to get here but they didn't care. They tried to say it was because they want the best experience which I understand that but 3 minutes? The best experience would be to do your best to get them into the class. I understand if I was 15 or 20 minutes past the cut off but just a few? I will not be returning or recommending this place. They where very cold and rude.

I wish I could give more stars to this studio but unfortunately, I had a very bad experience with the coach Page. A group of friends invited me to join the class so I signed in for the first time option but I arrived around 25 minutes before it starts. The coach Page - in a very impolite way - did not let me take the first class. I have friends that have arrived later than I did and they have not had any issues with it. I also never received the call they told me they will make to explain arriving time and other things. I understand the rules that every coach may have but a bit of empathy and good customer service may help. The worst part was when the mentioned coach called me next day after an email I sent. She was very defensive and sarcastic over the phone. If you don’t know how to deal with customers avoid talking to them until you receive some decent training on that matter.

  • Christine Lott

I went today to the 7 am 90 min class. I have been a member for almost 3 years. I was very excited to have my friend join me for her first 90 min class. She was running a little late and was upset and rushing. I told Ariel at the front desk she’s driving all the way from Mineral Wells and she’s running late I hope she makes it.My friend got their right at 7:05 and Ariel was very rude to my friend to where she won’t come back again to this studio. I feel like the people working the front desk still need to give Grace to people who are running late and driving far to go to their studio. I know there is a 5 minute rule and then you can’t come into class. But, the front desk still needs to be nice to them as they come in and make them feel comfortable and not feel bad about being late. The class was amazing and Cody did a great job coaching as always. I do give the class 5 ⭐️ s.

I attended two classes. Both were great workouts. After the first free session, I asked the lady at the desk about the free week I saw online. She said I could do it and signed me up for the second class. After the secomd class, another lady tells me they don't have paperwork on file for me and tells me to complete it. I let her know I hadn't decided on on joining yet and she informs me the free week has to be done at the location closest to my house and she'll charge me $12 instead if the normal $28 drop in rate...AFTER I've completed the workout I was told was free. They had my address on file the entire time! I let her know that I was enrolled in the class by an employee and wouldn't pay for the class. I'm being generous with two stars because I really did enjoy the workout, but the second lady ruined my experience. The prices are pretty high as well.

REVIEW UPDATE: 1 star for the coaches and 1 star for the workouts. The facility is not up to standards for the premium costs, especially compared to others. Equipment is consistently broken. Only one shower in the studio. Class times were an issue for me, especially when they would be canceled without much warning. And the management here needs some improvement. Especially when it comes to training the front desk staff. Super sad to cancel my membership after attending OTF since 2019. ORIGINAL REVIEW (3 stars): I love Orange Theory and have been a member of / attended classes at multiple studios for years across the country. This is definitely the worst managed studio I’ve attended classes at. Coaches are pretty good but management needs improvement. And it’s really common for equipment to be broken in this studio. Again, love the work outs!

  • Kelsey Tennison

I started at OTF in November when it first opened! I actually remember crying a bit during my workout on Thanksgiving thinking, that there was no way I would have been here a year ago, and now look at me! It has always been a very welcoming environment for all fitness levels! I have seen my body and health drastically change in the last 3.5 months through this program! I was not a jogger/runner before but now I am able to do at least 2 speeds above where I first started! This place is changing lives for the better! Give it a try and I know you will love it! You absolutely do not have to think about anything for that hour other than listening to your coach and doing what they ask you to do to get an awesome workout! On average I burn around 600 calories and I know I continue to burn them the next day! Love love love it!

I chose to visit this location while in town to see my family and it wasn't my greatest experience. 1. During check in, the front desk staff member was working on signing up two people for memberships. So there was no time to properly do my intake to the studio, show me the facilities or introduce me to the coach. 2. The staff member was very flustered and was short with responses to my questions. 3. I tried to get my husband signed up for a free class to take with me and I was told since he wasn't local he could pay a $28 drop in. So he went to the gym we have a membership with. It seems like he's like come on. I don't want to show you. Overall I did enjoy my workout and eventually getting to interact with Coach Craig.

  • ivan Vallejo

I have signed up for many free workout classes with other gyms and I did not go because I wasn’t sure how I’d feel working out with new people and the environment I’d be in . I took a shot with OTF and I can say I’m glad I went through with it and ended up signing up for the unlimited plan The coaches are supportive and always give pointers and motivate you to push through I have most my workouts with coach Maria and she is excellent . Everyone is so friendly that you meet working out with you . I’m excited to see how my journey will be and looking forward to my next class

I have been doing Orangetheory for over three years. I was the big girl in class when I first started and was very intimidated to do my first class. The supportive staff and other members made me feel completely at ease. Due to the heartrate monitors, I quickly realized we were all working as hard as we could at our own pace. Everyone was doing their thing, not looking at me. I have lost 125 pounds and kept it off for over two years. Orangetheory is a big part of that. The workouts are always different and challenging so you never get bored.

  • Rachel Patman

Indeed, its crowded. Yes, its expensive. Affirmative, its difficult. HELL YES, its all worth it. Orangetheory breeds self-confidence, self-worth, and tight bodies. The 7th Street location, specifically, puts all the other locations to shame. The clientele are motivated, the coaches are incredibly enthusiastic, and the staff are the most genuine people to done the color orange. To the staff: Thank you all for making every gym session a true experience and for your stellar attitudes every day. You are appreciated.

  • Kristina Lerma

I absolutely love everything about OTF Montgomery Plaza! The front desk staff are all always so polite and helpful. The trainers are awesome - head coach Bri is my favorite and John is a close second! Gym is clean, location is great and they have so many classes to choose from - I've never had an issue getting into classes after work or on the weekends. The workouts are always changing and challenging, forcing me to push myself way past what I would normally do on my own. Highly recommend!

  • Justin t

Was 5 minutes late for a class on a Saturday due to the cowtown marathon, but coach Ashley refused to let me join the class. Extremely disappointed in her lack of flexibility and understanding considering the major traffic detours that were literally all around the shopping plaza. I decided to cancel my membership and find a different fitness studio to stay fit, where the idea that “the customer comes first” is put into practice and members are treated with more courtesy.

  • Chloe Schumer

Thought I would be super intimidated by the whole class since I don't regularly do any strength training. This class you can set to your own pace, but the coaches are always so motivating and helping you with your posture that you are constantly trying to do your best no matter if it is at 5:30 a.m. It's such a fun class and great atmosphere! There is a community of OTF that are really great and I've already signed up for a membership just with taking one class!

  • Jim Sluck

I’m 56 and have done 500+ classes with most occuring at this studio. Despite massive Covid turnover the front desk and coaching staff remain some of the best anywhere. I’ve not been this fit since high school and I can 100% attribute it to OTF. The app makes it convenient to schedule and the platform doesn’t accommodate any chit chat and lounging during a work out like other gym experiences. The team at Montgomery plaza are top notch!

  • Annie Tuggle Wilson

Great first impression and looking forward to joining the OrangeTheory Fitness community. Awesome, effective workout classes. You not only feel like you're getting a great workout, but you can see it with the science & technology used via heart rate monitors. I really like that I can track my calories burned or splat points so I can challenge myself & push myself to do better than I did the class before.

  • Qween

I’ve been to mostly all of the locations in the Fort Worth location and I would say that the staff are very helpful. Although, there seems to be some confusion at the Montgomery plaza on the cancellation policy. Prices are a bit steep especially when there’s no room for flexibility on the scheduling and rescheduling of classes due to sudden Illnesses and emergency situations through the app.

  • Lauren Cozzi

I agree with the comment below. I had a pretty bad experience due to management. They were charging me drop in rates of $28 per class without letting me know that they were able to cancel my membership sooner. I brought up the issue to management and they said they were unable process a credit for the charges.

  • Holly Owen

I thoroughly enjoy the group class effect to keep me motivated and pushing myself. When I work out alone, I stop when I feel uncomfortable. The coaches are amazing at keeping you moving and focused on the workout. Definitely getting back in shape after only a couple of months of attending Orangetheory!

  • Julia Sebesta

I have been working out at OTF Montgomery Plaza for a few years now and I just can’t stop!!! I love the energy and accountability that the staff and other members bring! And our coaches and front desk staff, like Brooke Berg our amazing assistant manager, make every workout worth all the hard work!!

  • Ryan Smith

There’s a sense of community that you don’t get anywhere else. I genuinely feel the coaches and staff are invested in my life and want to see me succeed. It makes it much easier to work out when you’re greeted with smiling faces, conversation, and encouragement before and after every workout.

  • S C

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve been a member at this studio for years and given them so much of my money. They do not have good customer service at all nor any loyalty to their customers. Don’t join this gym. You can’t get beyond the studio manager to help resolve issues.

  • Barrie Grisoli

I always loved the OTH classes, but the Montgomery location charged me $199 when I wanted to cancel my membership during COVID. They should have allowed customers to cancel for free. Some people are not comfortable taking classes during COVID. They lost a loyal client over this.

  • Lynn Hampton

Shout out to Brooke!. I was thinking about canceling my membership after several years, but she encouraged me to stick it out. She is always offering an encouraging word and makes me feel so welcomed when I walk thru the door. I'm not just a client but a part of the OTF family!

  • Martin Killick

I have worked out at a number of OTF studios and this is bar a long way my favorite. The Daymakers and Coaches are all friendly and welcoming and they create a fabulous environment to work out. Having now moved to another City I miss OTF Montgomery Plaza a lot!

  • Colleen Peltier

This place is amazing! You will get a different and unique workout each time. Everything is based on your personal level of fitness because they monitor your heart rate throughout the workout. The results I've experienced are measurable and outstanding!

  • Melissa Walton

OrangeTheory has changed my life! Not only is it the best workout I’ve ever done, but I have made the greatest friends! I am forever grateful. And a huge shoutout to Brooke for always brightening our day when we walk through those doors!! #4:30Crew

  • Paige Bradley

My favorite workout class! I’ve been a member here for 4 years and it’s the best. Only negative, the schedule has become a lot smaller with less classes daily, which has been tough, so make sure it fits your schedule before signing up

  • James Steed

I was lied to. I clearly explained to the woman at the front desk that I wanted a one month commitment due to a back injury. I determined after the first class this was not for me. They charged for a second month. Lots of lip service.

  • Christine LOTT

I took the 7am 90 min class. It was amazing class with Coach Cody! He always motivates and pushes you to do your best! I am always looking forward to the next class. I love all the coaches at the plaza and I am never disappointed.

  • Daena D

The hour goes by fast! Even though it all hurts it is worth it, the positive vibe of the class is the reason I signed up and keep going. Loving it, the pace is great and the different stations keep it exciting.

  • gabby grove

I love Orangetheory!! I’ve been here for almost a year and love every part of it! The staff is so friendly, the coaches are amazing and very motivating! It’s a super fun environment I can’t get enough of it!

  • Kaylee Skinner

Hi, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Very informative and went over everything throughly. It was nice being around people that know about TCU as well. Nicole, Paige, and Mikki were amazing and so sweet.

  • Alejandra Villagomez

If you want a killer workout this is the place to go! You’ll leave feeling like a whole new person. Trainers and staff are wonderful, and they have multiple class selections to fit in with you’re schedule.

  • Kristin Wylie

I’ve been coming to Montgomery Plaza for 2 1/2 years and the people/staff are always so nice!! OTF is such a motivating and fun workout! Shoutout to all the staff including Brooke for being the BEST!!

  • Jeremy Mullendore

Amazing workout designed to make sense, overseen by a professional. Accompanied by welcoming staff who greet you by name as you enter their CLEAN, 'anti-funk' facility. Don't knock it til you try it!

  • Quadriayyah “Spirit” Mulligan

Want to change your life or walk a mile more than you did the day before? Want to burn off that stubborn tummy fat or just feel rejuvenated? Try Orange Theory fitness and you won't be disappointed.

  • Bryan Tomlin

Great workouts with no planning or thinking. It makes it very easy to stay consistent. The only drawback is that it is extremely busy and you have to book your sessions days to weeks in advance.

  • hilary Tipps

Amazing customer service, which is important to those old folks, ha! All different shapes and sizes of people doing these workouts and I never felt like I did not belong. I highly recommend!

  • Jacqueline Ruma

I ❤ Orangetheory Fitness and the team at Montgomery Plaza is amazing... great workout, balance of cardio, strength, and HITT training. Bonus, first class is free... if you know, you know.

  • Hope Olsen

I like how the workout is different each time. That always keeps the workout interesting and relevant. The staff are so friendly and create an encouraging and comfortable atmosphere.

  • Tiffany Seefeldt

This is my 2nd month at OTF and I absolutely love it. It is such a good work out and pushes me every time. The energy in the room just pumps you up. The whole staff is amazing also!

  • Stacie Growald

Forces me to work out really hard. But it's only an hour. You can do anything for an hour! And for you fellow nurses, watching your HR and keeping it orange is like titrating drips!

  • Kamibedford

I love love love this place!! Long time member but love these coaches and front desk. Brooke is the bomb dot com and Head Coach Marley is legit the best coach we have ever had.

  • Viral Patel

Workout class are good. Downside is membership prices are different base on location. That’s kind of unfair to local residents living in near to downtown locations.

  • Anna Tomlinson

Absolutely what I was looking for in a workout. Clean gym. Quality equipment and extremely friendly staff. High Motivation lead group circuit class made it fly by.

  • Lola Ogunfowokan

Visited from Florida. Staff was super sweet and helpful. Coach Sarah was awesome! She's like a nicer Jillian Michaels, but definitely pushes you to do your best.
