The incredibly warm and caring staff at Walker was an absolute God-send to our family in the most difficult time. They were professional, compassionate and very understanding of our family's needs. Paul Rudolph and staff took care of every detail imaginable for our family in a most respectful and efficient manner. Our father passed away in another state and this can be complicated with getting the body home and dealing with paper work and death certificates. The staff at Walker was with us every step of the way making arrangements for everything from: flights, documents & flowers to services, viewings and personal affects. They made our entire family comfortable during a very sad time. I can not say enough positive things about the entire staff at Walker. I highly recommend them to anyone who loses a loved one.

If I was able to give this place 10 Stars I would. Paul and his wife are Angels. They created a beautiful memorial for my Dad Harold. Paul was very easy to talk to and gave me and my family the attention to plan exactly what we wanted. He isn’t pushy and he isn’t trying to sell you everything you think you may need. Paul and Wife were super accommodating on the day of my dads service. The place was beautiful for my family. Very clean and plenty of parking. You would not be wrong for choosing this place. You don’t have to trust this review, just stop by and check out for your self. They did an amazing job on a budget. The owners are kind and go above and beyond we literally worried about nothing. They even have a lot that it seemed like they reserved it just for my family as every one had a spot and we were a big group. We had three busy boys who were able to lounge downstairs. They have a cool site where everyone can drop pictures and they create a slide show, we were also able to play My father in laws favorite music. During the burial ceremony they handled everything to bringing flowers to throw on the casket to tipping the pallbearers, reading a bible verse, driving around where my father in law lived and leaving flowers at his home...Bravo!! They had all the details down packed! We highly recommend them!

Choosing Walker Funeral Home in Queens allowed our family to have the most normal grieving process possible during COVID-19. I reached out to other funeral homes in the Queens area and directors were unwilling to have viewings and/or open casket short viewings. Paul Rudolph at Walker Funeral Home is genuine and guided us through every step of the process. He was prompt to respond via phone calls and emails. Any questions that we had, he gave us his time to make sure we were comfortable with the decisions that we were making. He wanted to be sure that our family was able to grieve properly, given the circumstances. The staff at NF Walker Funeral Home in Queens are compassionate and very professional as I had to make this difficult call for services for my Father. Paul was extremely comforting and helped answered all my questions. My Uncle passed away unexpectedly. Our family lives in North Carolina. We needed to find a funeral home in New York that would prepare my Uncle for a flight home for his Homegoing Celebration. I prayed the Lord would direct me to a funeral home which is Family Owner and kind. God answered my prayer with N.F. Walker of Queens Funeral Home. Paul Rudolph, Jr. has to be the kindest honest patient director ever. He started by offering me the lowest price - instead of the middle to highest that the other funeral homes show you. My sister was so satisfied that she made up a huge basket of babies items when Paul Jr.'s wife had a baby--which was around the time my mother was buried. That's how much we love him and his family. It's indeed a family-owned business.

I buried my grandfather, uncle and recently my beloved grandmother here at N F Walker.. Paul I just want to say thank you for the compassion and professionalism during these hard times.. from getting the bodies from the hospital to the death certificate you guys were on point with everything..You guys accommodated me even down to me personally fixing my grandmother for her final viewing...the funeral services were all beautiful to the pictures and even allowing my personal priest to bless everything.. so thanks again during these difficult times...

Walker funeral home was amazing during this difficult time. My mother was in Houston when she passed and they made all arrangements to bring her home to NY. Having experienced the sudden loss of my brother, I thought this process would've been much harder. Paul and his Mother made this process easy and were so understanding. We were able to have a viewing and service with Hindu rites in a clean and beautiful funeral home. I highly recommend.
