Fredericks funeral Home went above and beyond my expectations. I was quite distraught after the death of my dad and found it difficult to impossible to make any decisions, plus I had never arranged a funeral in my life or even attended many. My father passed in hospice, and I called Fredericks literally that evening while still at his bedside. They took care of picking him up, made an appt for me to meet with them in person and step by step guided me as I was so lost. When I met with them, they had a book and a big screen as well (to view things larger) and step by step asked me each question. I didn’t have to do anything but answer and if I was unsure they even helped me with that. SUPER ORGANIZED and in my time of need, they took care of it all. They even offer catering now which was wonderful ! It seems odd at first but all the guests approached me with appreciation on how after the funeral they all could go to an adjacent room, talk, catch up and eat without having to leave or drive somewhere else. (We did an open casket but instead of burial we were doing cremation after so we didn’t go to to cemetery). I got so many compliments about how lovely the whole thing was.

Our family used the services of Frederick Funeral Home in 2018, when my father-in-law passed away and once again in May 2022, when my mother-in-law passed away. At a time when our family was experiencing such raw pain and grief, Frederick’s responded with deep compassion and professionalism. Funeral home staff proved completely capable of handling all of our family’s needs. All aspects of planning were fully explained by knowledgeable, competent staff. No question or request was off-limits. Funeral arrangements and step by step planning were implemented seamlessly. From the Funeral Director Lucy, to the front desk staff, each individual was respectful and gracious. We found Lucy extremely thorough. Her quiet demeanor and genuine empathy were a comforting presence. She helped us navigate through this very difficult time as painlessly as could be expected. We thank Frederick Funeral Home from the bottom of our hearts. Frederick Funeral Home is under the Dignity Memorial umbrella and it is appropriately named.

Our family was treated with such respect, empathy and professionalism.They helped us say goodbye to my father in a dignified manner. I can't say enough nice things about Freerick's funeral home. We dealt with Marie and she was amazing. She explained everything and answered all of our questions. She made us feel so at ease and I felt like I knew her forever. We loved working with her and nothing was left undone. We also used the caterer which we had never heard of. Everyone that came never heard of it and thought it was a great idea. We didn't have to run out afterwards to get something. The food was amazing and we had enough leftovers for a week. Everyone was just wonderful. I stopped in without an appointment because I was nearby. Nicole and Angela were tied up and couldn't meet with me right away so I was going to leave and stop in at another time. One of the ladies at the front was very kind and sat down with me to begin the process of PrePay until Nicole or Angela were available. Everything was explained in detail and all my questions were answered. When I left I felt a burden lifted from my shoulders knowing that within a year our funeral arrangements would be completely paid for. I cannot thank Frederick Funeral Home enough for the exceptional funeral they provided for my mother. From the moment they gently picked up my mom at home, up to the prayers at the cemetery, my family was shown nothing but care and kindness. All of our needs were met and even anticipated. Nicole and Lorraine were wonderful and knowledgeable and helped us choose the perfect casket and flowers. They did not try to sell us the most expensive items, and the flowers were just as pictured. They made my mom’s funeral memorable in the best way possible. (And they have a room for the family to rest and eat in btw viewings so you do not need to rush and find a restaurant nearby.)

The absolute best experience (if I can be so bold to say) dealing with any type of business for services. The humanity in which they communicate; they listen to your needs, and do not try to up sell you anything you express that you don't. Everything about my aunt's funeral today went off without a hitch. The costs are reasonable, the facility is beautiful, and Nicole, Lucy, Diane, Charles and his son, are amazing, compassionate, and just downright good people. I would recommend using them for all my families last needs. Well done!!! Robert was recommended to me by my Godbrother and he was everything as advertised. He was very understanding, very fair and when I mean fair it’s his honest professionalism because most of us who have to deal with these unfortunate circumstances don’t really know what to do and could be taken advantage of off because of our grief. Robert (Bob) understanding of your loss and financial impact is very thoughtful to lay everything out and he was always accessible. Never missed a call or email. Jessie did a wonderful job during the wake services and attended all my family needs. Saved all our photos and flowers. Always available when needed.

Went to a funeral memorial and it was so hot many people complained . Nothing was done 3 female staff members were at the desk. They did not offer to get a fan, check with a thermostat, or call maintenance.. All 3 girls had a attitude to the several people who complained. People felt like fainting. When people are mourning they should not be treated like this!!!! There are several other funeral homes to go to.and I would not recommend this place at all. When the supervisor came in he said OH I JUST CAME IN with a attitude and then replied go to the desk when we said we did already he just ignored us !!

I would give Fredericks 10 stars if that would've been possible! After the passing of my mother in law last week, Fredericks not only went above and beyond to ensure that everything is taken care of but also respected our Greek Orthodox rituals from start to end. The funeral directors were there by our side from the beginning until the casket was being buried and ensured that we ( my wife, I and the rest of the family) have nothing to worry about. With the sudden passing of my father, my brothers and I didn't know what to do. We called Frederick's Funeral Home and they met with us right away. Death is not necessarily what one wants to think about, but it is a part of life we must deal with. Frederick's makes it not as difficult.

This unfortunately is the second time I have had to use their services this year. However, because of the professionalism, kindness and accommodating nature of the home, it made everything so much more bearable. I am especially grateful to Lucy Vista, who answers all of my emails quickly. She was even on vacation when she answered my questions and made sure that everything went smoothly. Everyone there is so kind, the home is very clean and well run.

From the first notification phone call I made to them, to the end of the funeral service for my mother, they made sure everything flowed seamlessly and painlessly for me. They anticipated my every need and answered every question- no matter what time of day or night i asked it. Marie Pemberton was our main director and she was exceptional. She knows how to do her job well and make things easier on the family during this most difficult time.

The loss of my mother was extremely difficult. Frederick’s and particularly Lorraine made it much more bearable. From the moment I first spoke to Lorraine, I felt as though I was being advised by a friend not a stranger. Frederick did a wonderful service for my mother's funeral from start to finish. I want to especially commend Marie who was sympathetic and caring...a true asset. She helped me plan the service and followed my wishes completely. We used their catering service as well - what a wonderful idea! I just wish my mom could have been there because she would have approved wholeheartedly.

"Avoid this funeral home at all costs. They took sides in a family dispute and denied one side of the deceased's children from saying their final prayers. The director, Charles, was also sarcastic and the other Manager, Marissa lied about when services would be held. A funeral home should never take sides and should always be empathetic to the grieving family."

If you care about having time to say your good-byes. this is not the establishment to do business with. We were rushed out at the end of the service. Everyone in my family was appalled. It was so unprofessional and disgusting I am only able to write about it a month later. Find a different home unless you want a rushed service, and an embarrassed family.
