My husband suffered from Alzheimer’s, and finally passed away As his illness worsen, our medical expenses skyrocketed. When I noticed that the caskets on Walmart’s website were one third of the price Hanley Funeral services billed me, I spoke to David and got a price reduction of $800. While I waited in Frank L.’s office to get the refund, Frank spoke to the person in the adjacent office, and made a crude joke about getting hotdogs from Walmart. He made sure he said it loud enough for me to hear. It was cruel for him to joke about my need to reduce the overall expenses, especially when I was still grieving for my husband. Perhaps he has been in the business too long, thus this lack of compassion and decency toward a widow. I found his behavior obnoxious and despicable While the other staff were courteous and respectful, I was so pained I would made sure never to use Hanley Funeral Services again. p.s. all Funeral Homes charge substantially more for caskets, urns etc. It was Frank's behavior that caused this grievance

Our family couldn't be more grateful to David Dillon for the care, empathy, professionalism, kindness, attention to detail in the dignified and beautiful arrangements made for my mother's funeral and burial. David Dillon was our" angel on earth". His manner, his compassion, his professionalism made a very stressful time for our family as smooth and comforting as possible. He and the wonderful people behind the scenes, could not have done anything better. We are eternally grateful to David Dillon, Frank Letteri, and all who are associated with Hanley Funeral Home. Couldn't have been more aggravated with this place. I can overlook the lack of actual drinking water (nice water fountain) and the half empty boxes of tissues but the fact you had a worker taking apart items from the coffin, removing flowers, basically shutting down the room 10 minutes before 9pm was an absolute disgrace. Taking a crucifix off of the coffin as a 10 year old girl is saying her final goodbye to her grandfather 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO 9PM was unforgivable!! The family paid the full price they are entitled to their full time! Anywhere I can possibly leave this bad review I will. Might as well have incinerated the body right in front of them too. Zero respect by your workers and establishment.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the beautiful & fitting farewell my husband, Michael Falzarano, received at Hanley Funeral Home after his death at home on February 4, 2019, on his birthday. David Dillon's professionalism, courtesy & caring during this very stressful & upsetting time was exemplary. Also, when his staff came to our home to take Michael, they were truly empathetic with me & my son. They handled Michael with respect, honor & dignity. Thank you David Dillon & staff for helping to make the loss & farewell of my wonderful Husband bearable. You were with us every step of the way giving Michael the Military funeral & burial he truly deserved.

First not sure what the proper etiquette is for review a funeral parlor. Emotions are high and you feel very vulnerable. With that said I can’t thank Frank Letteri enough. He was the consummate professional, sympathetic and empathetic while guiding us through the process. My dad was a WWII veteran and there was an issue in getting military honors at the service. Frank was relentless in assisting us to get my dad what he deserved. My family can’t thank Frank and the entire staff of Hanley Funeral Home enough. Would rather never need to use them again but unfortunately we are going to and will use them again.

To the Hanley family, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. From the pre-arrangements for our Dad to the actual wake and funeral, we can’t thank the staff enough. Special thanks to David A. Hanley Funeral Home has been in business for many years and it shows with their excellent customer service. Our representative was Frank who took care of us from preplanning thru the funeral. He is knowledgeable, caring and excellent at orchastrating the entire funeral process. He is very easy to talk to, non pushy and he cares. Hanley gets a 5**** Star rating from me!

From the first phone call that I had with Frank, making the arrangements with David, I felt taken care of as if I was family until we left the cemetery. Everything was explained, and everyone was so warm and compassionate. Thank you everyone for making the most difficult time of my life a little easier. You do a wonderful job.
