Good coffee. Service tips: When a customer asks for sugar or equal in their coffee, place it in for them rather than sending them to a bench to do it thenselves. You're there to provide a service, so make it gold star. The coffee isn't cheap. We pay a premium. Serve coffees with napkins. People like to wipe their lips when they're done drinking coffee. Also, water and glasses at tables, please. Easy things. Inexpensive. Improves customer satisfaction. Also, wifi for customers!!! The staff don't need it. It's all about the CUSTOMER. Other than that, ok service.

This place is not really good if you wanna have a rest and eat something. The food is not good or particularly attractive, if something bothers me is the cheese unmelted in a burger, and the cashier was aggressive and rude.My partner ask for something and she interrupted him rudely and finished with: What are you waiting for?. My partner and I were astonished, we were waiting her for another question, but anyway, I don't suggest this place at all.

Paid for lunch, received coffees and they forgor our meals and closed. Appalling for Hobart on Show Day when there's a lot if people who need a meal. Also, supposedly open until 4.00pm nut closed before 1.00pm. Not good Cafe!

Gave relish when I asked not to have any, pork was a little dry, no table service outside and dogs aren't allowed in the outside dining yet nothing on the website or in the the courtyard saying so. Prompt and friendly service which is why 2 stars not 1.

Staff very rude, didn't let me finish talking while I was ordering, and when I was waiting for the receipt, the waitress said "what are you waiting for!?" Please stay at home instead of working.

Sat out in the courtyard, had to clean dishes off the tables and then they forgot my meal! Lovely when it came and apologised - as with a lot of places, think they're understaffed.

The worst coffee I’ve had in a long time. Was bit and lacked a taste of coffee. The cake selection is epic though but the service wasn’t very friendly ‍♂️ it was convenient. …

Nice food, 2nd visit for lunch, however the attitudes of staff are not very welcoming and are made to feel like your an inconvenience. Next time we will take our business elsewhere.

Boy, that museum builds an appetite. Even the taxidermy didn't put me off my lovingly prepared focaccia and bespoke earl grey.

Has improved out of sight on my last review from over three years ago, with new operators in place it is definitely worth going along now and at least checking it out.

  • Arthur Weston

Worst big breakfast I had on holiday as over cooked bacon and eggs and was just ordinary for the money.

Disappointing that the Courtyard cafe is advertised as closing at 4pm, and being told that at 3:18pm the cafe has already closed

  • Craig Anderson

They believe people are not hungry or eat after 3pm and stop selling food. Very average service. Seems to just suit themselves.

Great location!!! Beautifully fitted out store, with great coffee, friendly staff & a nice selection of cakes & sandwiches.

  • Scottie Davis

Great place to meet for a coffee. Outdoors in the heritage courtyard is great, but warm inside of you need it.

  • Peter Reid

Great coffee and salted caramel cookies. Service ain't bad either. …

Tasty warm brownie. Coffee is good, but not the very best you can find in town.
