I frequently shop at Coles at Mount Ommaney for convenience but there are a few things I hate such as the long queues to pay for groceries. Sure, It would be easy to go through the self serve section but that doesn't help those who rely on a job at the checkout. Oh, and have you ever tried finding a person to ask a question? Coles MT Ommaneny has become another Bunnings, where as soon as an employee sees a customer looking like they want to ask a question, they take fright and run in the other direction. Does anyone know if Coles stills stock "Oops"??? My biggest beef is with this Mini Shop thing, where you spend $30 to get a mini plastic item. My 9 year old daughter is collecting these and I was in their today and spent $177.54 which is $2.46 short of $180. The stingy check out lady only gave us 5. This was after I had to waste my time and repack all my cold items into the 3 large "in your face" cooler bags I provided instead the normal reusable bags she decided to pack them in. I separated the cold groceries and put the cooler bags up first. She just put them aside and took the others . Umm, does anyone teach these people how to pack and what has happen to good old customer service? My final recent experience was 3 days ago when I bought a Coles seasoned blade roast which could have fed 6 people. Unfortunately after spending $20 on it, cooking it and throwing out the docket. My family found it was sooooo salty it was inedible. The dog was happy although she drank a lot of water. On that note, well, um, I think I here Woolies calling me, which is only a stone throw away

Have been shopping here for more than 5 years now and 3 times out of 4 they either do not have the bread we are after or it is not sliced. To makes things worse, half the time there is nobody there to slice it for you, and when there is they take it almost as a personal offence if you ask them to. Now, it so happens that we only buy Pane di Casa sliced, so it becomes annoying to have to go to Middle Park Coles for a bread. The Coles in the shopping centre is convenient, but after too many times to remember when they did not have the once product we specifically went there for, I thought it was time for some feedback. Unlikely for anything to change though as all it happens when notified is that they get defensive and annoyed with the customer. At the end of the day I came to the point where I will stop shopping there if this continues.

Warning to shoppers Check the scan price to the shelf price I purchsed icream from them advertised price $4.90 SCAN PRICE $10 i only picked it up because that was all i purchased spoke to the person at the registers and was told that price was for the smaller container would i like to put them back running late i paid and left When i rang and spoke to the manager they did offer if i came back i could have them for free because they scanned wrong but that should have been offered at the register In any event you should be able to trust that shelf price is what you get charged not offer you free if you catch them out How many people with large shopping orders would not even realize they are being cheated i will never shop coles again if you cant trust them then you cant buy off them

I shopped just now about 4:30pm and checked out on self service with my sister. The staff that was there stared at our trolley and then said about the limit about the tissue paper per customer which we are aware of and I told her that it was for me and my sister which is from a different household. She immediately turned her back and said nothing but when she was a few steps away she just stared at us the whole time which I find very rude. Next time please advise staff to be accommodating and remind them about their customer service role. I have heard good stories about Coles Mt Ommaney but I think those are from a few staff that really cares. Shame there are those ones that doesn't.

Handy to shop here as one can also quickly pop into Aldi should one need to. However I find that this Cloes never seems to have enough staff on tills. If I compare this to Woolworths, the number of staff on tills at Woolies is much higherr. So at Coles one tends to get very long queues. I am also starting to find Coles pricing not as competitive as Woolies or Aldi... Having said that, recently I have managed to find more of the fresh produce I need at Coles. Update Sep-23: the queues have been ok recently but the Self-Serve check out areas need more space. Far too cramped. Coles in Forest Lake is much better laid out for self service checkout.

Hi guys, now i know this isn't a big thing but still disappointing...... This afternoon I was refused service at Coles Mt Ommaney shopping centre with a near full trolley of groceries... I've been going there for over 10 years. They closed the checkout I was in line waiting for... The manager said the young lady working at my checkout had to go and said I'll have to use the Self-Serve Register... I asked if someone else could serve me ? She said they've got a million things to do and no she didn't and then just walked off...... Time to start going where my support and money is appreciated.

I have to commend how a dark-haired young lady who has served me a few times at the checkout for the way she handled a nasty situation today (March 30, 2020) at around 4pm today. To say it was awful would be an understatement - some 'dude' screamed the foulest abuse at her that cannot be committed to print . It seemed to reach the stage she did the best thing possible - walk way. You Coles staff have always been good people and I hope this young lady hasn't been shaken too much. Look forward to seeing her and her mates around at my next visit. KR Courtney

Not a bad Coles store however I found it difficult to locate items I was looking for. The layout of the store was a little confusing and the signage was minimal. Overall the experience was ok, staff were friendly enough. Real busy compared to Coles stores which aren’t connected to shopping centres. Plenty of stock, shelves well maintained. Just might need to reorganise layout of store to make it more user friendly as I spent most of my time trying to find items which seemed to be in different aisles as expected.

  • Julez Macheson

Very clean store with a good variety in supermarket groceries. Fresh food from the deli & meat department in-store as well as the bakery & fruit & vegetables. Plenty of room to shop without banging into shelves of displays & that have an aray of gift cards & quick service area too. Trolled are in good condition so it makes shopping a lot more pleasurable. Friendly happy staff the are happy to help with whatever glue needs maybe. It's great to be treated with respect & good old fashion customer service.

Never have a check out person. Don't go here if you wanna get any more than 2-3things. Was made to do a trolley full got half way and just left while the receipt checker and her co-worker just watched. I also had my 4month old baby and 7 year old l. Save your money and save your time Fresh&Save Richlands or Aldi are the way to go. Cheaper prices and a person at the check out. No checkouts open besides self service not even an express lane. You're in a shopping centre act like it!

  • Doug Brown

I was trying to find cookie dough I had no luck by myself. I was trying to get the attention of some Coles worker but she just kept walking past ignoring me. I finally got someone's attention and asked where the cookie dough was, it was in one isolated chiller next to the pizzas, not where I was expecting it at all. This all took me a lot longer than if it was in a more obvious place, say near other chilled desert foods or if someone was willing to assist.

I always shop at coles but recently I have found the variety is limited to just coles brands. Products I bought regularly have been distontinued which I have not been happy about at all. I don't know who it is who decides what products should be deleted maybe they should be deleted and not the product. I now find myself shopping at Woolworths more variety and in alot of cases cheaper. Sorry Coles you are about to lose a loyal customer.

  • Alena

Very clean and tidy down isles. Plenty of disabled room, parking and access and staff always available and happy to help.public toilets nearby. Sometimes the fresh food area has a couple of things on the floor like a squashed grapes ect. What you would find in every fresh food court. They always have beautiful flowers delivered almost daily and they are much cheaper than a flower shop and I think better too most of the time.

  • J K

Spend $300 on shopping only to pack it by yourself while 3 check out girls just chat and watch. One of them could've open a check out but instead when they saw our shopping trolley, told us lane was closed. If someone truly cares about there service. It happened between 8pm-9pm 06/06. Bad enough having a sore back I had to do it alone with my wife. Dropped the ball again Coles Mt Ommaney. Pathetic customer service.

  • Leo Susanto

Always bought fresh fish from this store over several years now and never had an issue. Wanted to buy fresh salmon today and was served by a young friendly staff (a girl). Intended to get a piece of salmon by pointing a finger to it but was cautioned twice by a male staff for finger pointing. Was disappointed and left the store without the fish. Will NEVER buy any fish from this store any more.

  • Nhu-y Huynh

Worse Coles I've been to in regards of customer service. Store manager was rude when I asked for a raincheck as I couldn't get the amount of a product that I wanted. Prior to that stood at that information desk for 5 minutes when he could I was standing there waiting to ask for help. Going to start going to another Coles. Middle Park is much more friendlier!

  • David Hahn

Great service tonight from the young lady working in the self checkout area. Tegham, was very helpful, had a smile and made good conversation and was very professional in helping when the scanner was playing up. It’s a positive change from bad service at other coles sites. Well done Tegham

  • Kellie Lutze

Clean store, great range and competitive prices all. This Coles is one of the nicer stores and makes for a pleasant shopping experience. It being situated indoors does make it a little less easy for those quick milk and bread pickups, but the small inconvenience is offset somewhat by the close parking.

  • Graeme Ferguson

Wife just bought 3/4 of a kilo if fresh prawns for 20 bucks, but i then I called to say to get them at Mega Meats Brown's plains as they are way cheaper. But store wouldn't take a return or even offer a compromise. So much for Christmas spirit, ripping of the hard workers. Go to Mega Meats way cheaper.

  • stephen clarke

Are you looking for a nice long wait? Go to Coles Mt Ommaney. You get to line up for 25 mins just to serve yourself. 8 registers but only 2 open on a Saturday morning, I found that to be absolutely pathetic. Apart from that, it is a well stocked supermarket within a very good complex. Lots of parking.

  • Shane McKenzie

Self checkouts super slow and break for no reason, once again. You have cameras and security.. turn the bloody remove previous item feature off please, seems counter intuitive to have all three. The lady was nice enough to scan and re bag my items when the machine broke.. this time.. 5 stars for her.

  • Arayala Vtuber

Went to the store the other day bought yellow kiwis, got home and was ready to enjoy since they aren't always in stock and I really dislike green kiwis. I cut one in half i got 3 in a box of yellow kiwis that were green. very disappointed i couldnt just get what i was buying.

  • Susan Clarke

I visited today and it was far too crowded. No social distancing and one of the staff said that it was similar to prior to xmas. Phoned and spoke the manager who was high handed and gave all the excuses. Not good enough under current circumstances. Won't be back.

  • Grace McKendrick

One of the better Coles in my area. Good selection of stock. They now have a greeter at the 'door'? Maybe to stop shoppers from taking the trolleys and heading over to Aldi? Yes I am guilty! Some is usually there first thing in the morning during the week.

  • Danielle Park

My visit to the Mt Ommaney store today was lovely. Dallas was pleasant as were other staff members. I will not return to the Forest Lake store again however- on numerous occasions, the customer service has been atrocious. Good job Mt Ommaney.

  • Kraegy M

A spacious shop with wide isles and friendly staff, but when I went there on Sunday afternoon the store was out of many of the items I needed to purchase, including low-fat beef mince, pre-packaged chicken breasts, asparagus, 1kg bags of

  • Dan Rivett

I'm going to rate this shop as ok, seeing as it's never just Coles or Woolies I have to go into its always both as some things are on sale at Woolworths while some things are Coles depending on the week. The layout of Coles has changed

  • Ulrich Goersdorf

They have good special. There's 1 annoying thing though. At the "fast" checkout, which is supposed to be for up to 12 items, they serve people with a full trolley. If you're in a hurry, or have frozen stuff, icecream, it's terrible.

  • Rui Cassin

I noticed that frequently Coles presents an offer but charge the full price. Keep your eyes opened that my wife today almost lost AU$ 15 and have to wait 25 minutes to correct the transation. Looks like they are not reliable!

  • Diana Waines

One of my favourite Coles stores. It's spacious, clean & modern. Always a well stocked fresh produce selection & a great bakery. There's usually no waiting at the self check outs & staff are helpful without being intrusive

  • M S

Its a big range store but is pretty busy. Would recommend coming early or late but try to avoid peak times such as Saturday mornings as it can be chaotic. Store is well stocked, bakery staff are helpful and store is clean.

  • Stephen Rippon

Saturday morning and shelves unstocked across several product lines. Staff around packing SOME baby goods. Checkout lines overlong and self checkouts in full action, Customer Service anyone? Disappointing to say the least.

  • Kirk Brooks

They had two registers open, with 5 full trolley behind each. Instead of opening more registers they put two people behind each. It took us over 20 minutes to line up and check out. Won’t be back at Mt Ommaney Coles again

  • Thuy Hua

Rude and abusive staff at the Seafood Deli. Taleah, Store manager does not know how to manage the store either. This explains why the store has a poor customer service record. Such an intimidating shopping experience!

  • Ian Strachan

Polite staff; and a good range of food. I found the layout confusing, with milk stacked well away from dairy products like cheese and yogurt. The aisles were clear and shelves well stocked first thing in the morning.

  • Marianne Egling

Lovely bush Camp for a weekend.A shame the baby animals weren't available for the kiddies to see.Otherwise a wonderful Camp, with half gallon drums available for a fire to toast marshmallows and enjoy.Friendly staff.

  • Luke Skywalker

Run by corporate Socialists. Whom should be paying their dues to society rather than asking for government handouts and deductions. Often is the victim of crime by its on corporate socialist leaders and CEOs .

  • Paul Hayfield

Dallas and another lady were so helpful and patient with me. I forgot my pin and got my credit card locked but they held on for me until I got it sorted with the bank and kept my groceries cold for me. Thanks.

  • Matthew McQuilty

It's a supermarket. It's hard to be too different in this space. On the upside it was clean and the staff polite and we didn't have to wait too long to check out. On the down side, well it's a supermarket.

  • Jocelyn Glow

great Coles, one of the biggest I've been to and has everything you could imagine. Staff are helpful and nice and even when the store is busy lines move quick and there are always plenty of staff working.

  • Chris Booth

Whilst this Coles has a bigger range because of the higher income area, it still manages to be unclean, understocked and full of rude people. Not the staff though, staff are always really nice.

  • YUE HU

just like any other Coles, nothing really special. but cleanliness was top-notched when i was there. aisles were not cluttered with stock to be refilled. a joy to be browsing here.

  • Knickie Gun

Conveniently located within Mt Ommaney shopping centre. It's one of the smaller stores so you might not find a wide range of products but you usually have the main things there.

  • Pseudoecho

It's easier to shop at my local Coles but the empty shelves at my local store sometimes necessitates my trip there. I only shop there if I have other things to do at Mt Ommaney

  • Frank Law

Always busy but it's in a convenient enough location for a grab-and-go. Overall presentation of the store makes it easy to get your essentials in a quick and efficient manner.

  • Leda Ferguson

Smaller style Coles. Has a great pick and mix fruit and nut section. Missing some lines. Not that busy. Great place to avoid the crowds. Limited deli section and meat section.

  • Kevan Wayne Jones

Extra wide range of goods. Market priced. Pleasant staff and helpful check out person. Some difficulties in negotiating shopping row with packer in them but few empty spots.

  • kryptos 444

Shelves empty, staff standing around, only self serve checkouts and 2 manned checkouts open with 10+ people queued up on each. If I have to self serve I’d rather go to Aldi

  • Hype Queen

I’d give this Coles 5 stars if they’d get their checkout issues sorted on weekends. Expect to wait 15-20 mins to checkout on saturdays and Sunday’s, incredibly frustrating.

  • Kirsty

Wondeful, large store and usually always stocked up! Always fresh produce. Can always find a park on the top level as hardly anyone parks there. Friendly staff too!

  • Amin Mofidian

The front desk old lady showing bad attitude. Maybe she was tired but that's not the customer's fault. She was serving at 8pm Saturday. I hope manager talk to her.

  • Ldn Bne

Standard Coles Love the click and collect pickup dedicated parking spot. Save on wasting time there or pickup on the way home after heading to 8Street foodcourt?

  • Peta Miles

Extremley busy for a Sunday. Shelves not stocked and only 2 checkouts open. Management need to stepup and manage alot better, today was very badly organised.

  • Somi Stewart

Enjoy shopping at Coles Mt ommaney in store and online click n collect. Found that staffs are friendly in general and good stock level. Can’t complain.

  • Christopher Robert

Good stocked coles has stuff middle park and jindalee don’t have. But they recently started closing at 8 mid week bit annoying when I’m on night shift

  • Jesse Lutze

My go to Coles. Some of the staff are rude, but they always have a good selection of sales and products. The store is clean and open late on weekdays.

  • Ingrid Stegner

The layout is a bit different than other Coles, and was very busy (which is to be expected on a Saturday). The staff were very nice and helpful.

  • Adam C

Messy store, no staff on registers (even minutes after a priority one call), staff run off their feet. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere...

  • Robert Sells

Good shop but it was much better when it had the cross aisle. Bring that back as it was much better. Prefer that than extra items on shelves.

  • Saeed Akhlaghpour

Quick access from the parking. Friendly staff, especially a few elderly ladies. The butcher who is an old man kindly responded my questions.

  • Ecka Hesketh

Susan from the Deli ‘s has excellent customer service!!! But this store really needs more workers especially at checkouts.

  • Rice Hopper

I will never shop at Mt Ommaney Coles again. The checkout staff are so slow and unenthusiastic. Expect a huge wait time.
