The new gates are horrible and bordering inhumane! We came in for a quick shop, paid for everything, said thank you and goodbye to the self checkout staff. Then we encounter this gate that didn't open to let us out??? It only opened after we said 'excuse me' to the attendee who then pressed a button they were holding to open the gates... absolutely ridiculous. It's one thing to have an automated gate, but it's another to see that the gate only seems to open if this attendee was there to open it. This shouldn't be the attendee's responsibility or fault at all to let patrons out of your store. WHAT IF THERE WAS A THREAT?! WHERE AND HOW WOULD WE LEAVE??? We went shopping at Target, Kmart, Dusk, QBD, etc. today with no qualms at all. Then, we finished up our shopping with a quick trip to Coles. Unfortunately, this ended our shopping experience at the Indooroopilly Shopping Mall with an incredibly sour note. An absolutely unnecessary and unwelcome addition to the store.

In the absence of a Coles Taringa listing this is our only avenue to raise public complaints. Coles Taringa has been disrupting traffic and preventing access to public footpaths for years now. There is no way to contact the site managers and emails to the listed contact go unanswered. This is abysmal. Coles needs to do better. I don't care if the shop ever opens I just want this huge private company to stop blocking public infrastructure. With the profits Coles is reporting I don't see any justification to not get this wrapped up. Losing goodwill in the community. Shopping at Woolies until this is resolved.

Seldom shop at Coles, always shop next door, because we received an offer of 3000 pts if spend over $50 so we decided to give Coles a go, the egg section was a mess, many have no price label, saw a female staff (those who do the online shopping ones) asked her to help scan the price for us, somehow her scanner is not working, she whinged and moan continuously, rudely returned the carton of eggs to us, turn around, pushed her trolley and left. Will go back to our old favorite, woolies.

My go to grocery store!! Hecticly busy during the obvious times, but the store is so spread out it’s mostly fine. Always nice and neat, and the staff are always amazing: especially this one girl with shorter hair, glasses, SUPER friendly, been there at least a couple years now- she deserves a raise I swear. They have the pizza station, hot chicken, bakery, seafood, deli- everything you need. Would highly recommend!

A great store with good staff. However, I unfortunately I saw the worst of the worst today, with a clearly woman who was clearly in her seventies and financially comfortable, clandestinely transferring grapes out of one bag of a pre-packed and weighed bag into another, so as to steal the fruit without being caught. I wish I could have found a staff member at the time. What is wrong with society?!

Thanks to Coles staff member Lachlan who rescued my lost parcel that I left on my trolley in the car park. He saved me so much trouble by picking it up & was on his way to hand it in when I returned to look for it. I was so stressed as my wallet was in it & I would have had to cancel all my cards & ID. Thank you Lachlan, you’re so kind & honest & courteous.

Our regular grocery shopping store. Shopping is easy and convenient. Checkout counters are also super easy to operate. A bit more of Indian items would be better, nevertheless it has sufficient items which we need for our daily / weekly/ monthly needs.

I was doing my shopping the other day and I was greeted by an employee by the name of Matthew. He was very polite and showed me where everything I needed was, and when I finished my shopping he farewelled me and wished me a good day. He was very nice.

hate the new gates at self checkout. So annoying and unnecessary. If you don’t trust your customer base, don’t let them scan their own groceries. If you don’t want to pay a teenager to do the job, then suck the losses from a few bad apples.

Coles is always out of stock on some items or no longer keep popular items that have always been in their store. After many years shopping there, I guess it's time to move on.

Always a good shop. Plenty of stock. Good Keto available products. Helpful staff. Love the new check outs. Nice and easy to load groceries straight into bags a correct height.

It’s where we do our grocery shopping every week. Really like it. They usually carry most products I use even during the shortages. Weekly Specials are great help.

Best almond croissant I’ve ever had. Bought it from the Bakery at Coles Indooroopilly. Warmed up it was absolute perfection. Thank you baker!!

Won't shop here again, feel like a criminal with the new gates. Also your prices disgust me. It was peak hour and only one register open too?

  • Andrea Shearer

Great store to shop in. Always tidy, helpful staff if you are trying to find a product. Good specials on offer regularly.

  • Debra White

This Coles has it all. Well stocked shelves and good selection. Avoid during peak hour as it gets extremely busy.

  • Jonathon Costello

Superb customer service from a bloke named Pattison who got us items not on the shelf from out the back

  • Annette Blythe

No gloves at deli. Didn’t buy product after all. Went to Woolies

  • Darryl B

Great store. Handy being inside the Shopping Centre.

Best deli and cheese selection around for sure
