Approx 6.10-15pm on Thursday 6.01.22 Walked up to service counter, staff member who was manning it was chatting to another manning the self serve checkouts, neither apparently saw me and the service desk worker just goes off with a trolley to somewhere else in the store. Self serve worker apparently didn't see me for the five minutes I stood there (calls her observation skills into question. Wonder how many people they've let walk out with items they didn't pay for?). 5 minutes I stood there and no one came to assist. Dissapointing and highly inconvenient. Was already feeling invisible today, didn't help. Took my business to Woolworths instead. As all my future business will go. Screw this store and corp

Terrible service from MARGARET(wearing eye glasses), bakery section. We requested if she could cut our bread but she said to come back. We went to pick up the last few items we needed and we camae back and she screamed "come back later". My husband replied we will wait as thats the last item we are waiting/getting at coles. She was saying something but we couldnt hear exactly and with an angry face. When she finished cutting the bread, she just throw it on top of the shelve. Very poor customer skill and RUDE. She was lucky we need to go as our baby was crying otherwise we will complain to the mananger in front of her.

I shop at Coles regularly. I will no longer go to this store. The fruit and vegetables where terrible. I picked up a melon and my fingers went straight into it. The oranges were mouldy and the apples had marks and bruises. The shelves were not restocked quickly. The staff were messing about with someone in their Easter bunny costume instead of stocking shelves and checking the quality of the food. I sometimes get emails to leave feedback as I’m a flybuys member but I didn’t get one for this trip. The Mt Gravatt and Petrie Terrace which are the other main ones I shop are a lot better.

It was a cold windy sunday afternoon. I went to the local coles for a feed, planning on getting some spam for my pet lizard. I was on my way to check the spam out and purchase it when out of the corner of my eye i saw the hottest counter chick ever to work at coles, his name, Jack Penelope. We made eye contact and immediately locked eyes, ever since my lover died, jeff, i've been so lonely. I identify as Gender Nonconforming and this young female/male made my nips stand on end. I will be coming back to this store every day of the year, only on my sole quest, to find my lover.

Never had an issue with this Coles, everything’s always in stock even at the beginning of the covid pandemic when other store were experiencing shortages of rice and pasta this Coles still had some in stock (the shelves were 2/3rds empty but at least it had something. And the in the most recent lockdown I was fortunate to get the crazy reduced food that was perfectly fine like chicken strips for $2 a kg just because they had too much in stock. Also the other competitor supermarkets in Carindale are complete garbage so it’s not like there’s any competition.

I appreciate the efforts in maintaining a sanitised environment during the Covid pandemic. However wiping over the self checkouts with a wet chux cloth between patrons only works if you actually use disinfectant! Using a wet rag only moves germs from one place to another. The disinfectant spray that I assume the employee should have been using, was sitting untouched next to her drink bottle. Upon further investigation this was actually a store Manager who was doing this! Good on ya Coles Carindale

I have reduced my rating from 5 stars to 3. They have a new way got exiting self serve. While I appreciate the new level of theft protection where the customer service tenant is to let you out without informing them and having a go while letting someone else out is unacceptable. This happened at 4.15pm 28thMay 2023 and quite disappointed with the behaviour of the new person I was made a aware of this through a previous interaction. Coles needs to lift there game. Very sad service.

Mouldy Pancetta from the Deli. Staff not checking the quality or expiry dates. How could the staff member cutting this meat not notice the mould. Staff need more education. Food Quality is discounting. I wonder if the meat slicer was wiped down afterwards, as there would have been mould residue left on the blades. Coles said to bring out back, no mention of providing a gift voucher for the inconvenience of returning & not to mention unable to use in my Sunday night dinner.

I had bad experience in this super market . A girl at the check out was very rude. I said Hi but she looked my eyes and ignored and said nothing , even she said to my partner . I said thank you at the end but she completely ignored . She discriminates customers . It was really uncomfortable and makes me angry. Her name start from A I think but I'm not sure. Anyway , it was very rude and horrible attitude to customer even as a person. Big disappointing this morning.

Highly irritated that at peak hours, 5pm-7pm they had 1 person on checkout, they have gone as far as installing self checkouts with conveyors and the works so thay they can save money on cutting staff... people work all day and some on their feet all day to self checkout a trolley full of groceries? Or stand in a que for 30min so that the one person on checkout can assist... i will never shop at coles again. More than happy to take my bussiness elsewhere

I noticed that most sale items (tomahawk steak and some other meat) seemed to have been preserved by some staff members, leaving only two on shelf (originally there were almost 8-9 boxes of them) for regular customers which really disappoints me. As a loyal customer, I believe in fairness and equal treatment. I hope Coles will address this issue and ensure that all customers have an equal opportunity to benefit from sales events.

I bought a pork roast from Coles Carindale supermarket on Sunday morning. We went to cook it Sunday afternoon to find it was 3 days out of date. I called the store and the store manager (Tim) who eventually picked up the phone was extremely short and dismissive. Really disappointed with the service provided by a "leading" supermarket as well as the fact that a roast joint was sold when it was so far out of date!

  • Eliana Guerrero

Love the service Today I had to lovely ladies greeting me and my little one on arrival!! Had to interact with staff from different areas and they were all great!! Specially the lovely gentleman at the butcher who was happy to stop doing what he was doing to grab the item I was asking for from the fridge and give it to me in my hand when he could have literally just point it out!! Fantastic experience

  • Thea Martin

I asked a store member to check if an item was in the back, so she called someone down twice, no one appeared. Then she asked a colleague to call someone down, still no one appeared. I offered to go to them but she said she wouldn't know where they were and that they were "a bit useless". So now I'm off to another coles. A lot more staff training is required and a desire to actually help

I went to get refund for some items this week,i didn't had receipt for that items, because i didn't print one from shelf checkouts, the manager (Male) refuse to give refund or store voucher, because Woolworth also sell that same product i had bad experience and bad customer service, not happy at all. manager(Male) should give refund or store voucher if items under $20 without receipt.

  • Skye Hingston-Curtis

reception in the store for phone is terrible if you other half is trying to get a hold of you or you are looking up some product you forgot the name off. get centre management to install a god dam relay because I am not touching free wifi with a 10ft clown pole to leave my phone open for hacking or using my personal id as the cost of access to it, screw you.

  • Will Bassett (Badger)

I haven't shopped at Coles Carindale for some time. This was a quick shop, with the main purpose to stock-up on cat food primarily. I would have happily given 5 stars apart from the price of around $20 for hand sanitiser. Ridiculous. I'd like to single out an employee, Beth, for her kindness and assistance. It's the simplest of touches that go a long way.

  • Mike S

I went to Coles Carindale to purchase some mollases. The only thing oustanding about the visit was the total lack of service and a "could not care less" attitude. In the end I gave up and went to Woolworths to buy the product which was very easy. Coles should train their staff wherte products are located and restock your shelves.

Liv is a 10/10!!! I was looking for some nutritional yeast that i had found online and had asked 4 staff members who looked like they knew what they were doing yet they had no idea where it would be in the store. As a last resort i asked one of the teenagers, Liv, she knew right away that it was located at the end of aisle 1.

  • Thilo Spicher

I bought the other day prawns at coles. There was a young guy serving me and he picked prawn by prawn out and I asked myself why was he doing this! The were big prawns, but he picked the smaller ones out for me. I had a dinner in the evening and when I opened the bag I could the little tiny prawns. Thank you for that. …

  • Lew Joubert

What an outstanding experience! Such lovely goodies to be had, from fruit to toilet rolls and everything in between, and the staff are amazing. You really must go there even if only for the blissful experience, and while you're inside, do purchase something scrumptious, it will make your day.

  • Anthony Simmonds

Good supermarket, quite large and has a great range of products. Fruit and vegetables are generally good quality. Meat us usually of good quality too. Has pretty much everything you need. Handy location in Carindale with plenty of parking. Really convenient opening hours too.

  • George Zedd

This store is fairly busy so expect a few items to run out. Eggs and tissues had run out on my visit. Overall, this store is part of my weekly shopping routine. I like this place because the registers are always well staffed so waiting time in the queues here is short.

  • Brett Edgerton

I really appreciate the COVID awareness on display and Coles deserves much credit. There are two trolley\basket cleaning areas and they are well maintained (kept clean and tidy, and well stocked). I feel like they care about my wellbeing.

  • Jari Sannholm

Staff wouldn't get out of the way let alone acknowledge us or move trolleys that were blocking isle, myself and another customer had to wait for 2 staff to get past while talking to each other rather than directing traffic. Disappointing.

  • Peter Lc

Fairly typical of a Coles supermarket. Most grocery lines can be bought here though various products do seem to be getting deleted from their stock. Wheelchair accessible. In-store, delivery or click & collect are available.

  • Ryan R

Fruit and vegetables are very poor quality. Damaged produce, mouldy produce, fruit flies above and on the produce. Not even the packaged produce is immune.. have seen the issue on multiple visits, not an isolated occurrence.

  • Paul Clarke

Treat people like criminals if they don't buy anything, automatic sliding glass doors won't open if you buy nothing, then I'm asked by the coles assistant if I touched something, stole something is how I interpret that.

  • Michael van der Hoorn

Now this a super market and a half! Not too much you can't buy here. Fresh, meat, fish, bakery and lots more. Plenty of room to walk around a d lots of trollies. Staff helpful and always have smile on. Good job Guys!!!

  • Dan Crowther

Pretty good Coles. Large store with decent aisle width. Gets busy. They have a decent number of product lines for a Coles considering Wesfarmers purged about a third over the last 5 years. Staff are always nice too.

  • Cam

Really good, the blueberry muffins I got were delicious and the staff were very fast and polite. Only thing is that the store seemed a bit messy but it was the day after a public holiday so that is to be expected.

  • Ashley Knight

Ticket price was wrong and pulled them up on it and was told some bull story and all over a few dollars. If they forget to talk down the sale price from yesterday I should get that price. Back to Woolworths I go.

  • FunKfit Workout

I love the new Coles style, nice big aisles and easy to find signage. Not the easiest to get in and out of as it's located in a shopping centre, but that's to be expected. Overall a good experience.

  • Tristan Coupe

The staff were friendly, however I feel that the store could have been a bit more organised. It was hard to find the products I was looking for. That said, there was plenty of choice in the aisles.

  • Charlie Stewart

The fact that staff are filling during peak teams, two per aisle, is dumbfounding. Social distancing is not possible and it's clear their attempts at it are for legal purposes only.

  • Taylor Krause

I stopped shopping here for meats and fruits and veg as the freshness is absolutely non-existent. Also meat is always understocked anyways! The cashiers are absolutely lovely though

  • Cherie Jamieson

We went at a very busy time of the year ( Christmas) but I found that there was not a lot of certain items on the shelves. I suppose you would expect that at this time of year.

  • wayne jean

Far end of the mall in the new section. Long way from the main carparks but well laid out and friendly enough. Big fruit and veg section. Good seafood and meat selection

  • Secret Break

Seems to have a good range of fresh fruit and vegetables. A large Coles with plenty of product variety. Other stand alone Coles have more convenient parking though.

  • Sarah Baker

Thank you to all the staff who have gone through panic buys and snap lockdown rushes, stock shortages, Karen's and anti maskers. You guys are incredible …

  • victoria anderson

Great stock in store and good layout made it easy to find what I needed. Bit claustrophobic at the self serve checkout but they are all like that.

  • Emma -Jane Smith

Didn't have everything and prices getting higher then Woolworths Also things were ripped open and some staff didn't know where things were

  • Oliver Meehan

A visit here for groceries is part of our regular routine. Staff are normally helpful and the store itself is usually well-presented.

  • Faye Kin

Customer service is excellent and the store is clean and tidy. Always a pleasure shopping here.Always trolleys available as well.

  • Miguel Wagner

Best time to visit is in the night time - after 6pm - except for Thursdays - as this supermarket gets busy being in a Westfield.

  • Hamish Pike

As always a good supermarket with a great range and large isles. It is always busy with customers but easy self serve checkouts

  • Coles

Coles Carindale is good. Big store with lots of product. Definitely has one of the better self check out layouts of all Coles

  • Mellissa Deegan

Fantastic, went in there to find a new product, chia pudding -low sugar, has fibre and protein. Comes in three flavours, yum.

  • Cynthia G

Big and spacious. Shelves usually full except for the toilet paper aisle . Good for bulk and quick shopping visits …

  • Robert Jones

Large and plenty of self checkouts which aren't going away. Being in Westfield's it's a trip back to your car.

  • Yenny Wong

One thing in particular I get from coles is their seafood salad. Taste best than any other supermarket.

  • Malphas

Sadly a lack of 750ml Bundaberg sarsaparilla means that I have no choice but to shop at woolworths....

  • chris haselwood

Renovated and the bulk buys is good but they need to keep it stocked up other than that great shop

  • Sheila Rad

Coles experience was like all coles stores. Fully stocked shelves with helpful staff on hand.

  • Joug

Slowly getting rid of check outs with a cashier and a ton of self-check outs are taking over.

  • John Welch

Bigger than most suburban Cole's. Getting groceries to car always a hassle

  • Michael Thomas

Only one register open, self serve had a line of people waiting

  • Luke Bock

Why is there a gate at the checkouts. Herding us like cattle.

  • Lewis Aitken

Had exactly groceries I required. Very busy but quick service

  • Janine McMullen

Plenty of stock, easy to find supplies and pleasant staff

  • Karen jorgensen

I never find the staff very friendly or helpfull

  • Larnie Darling

Reasonable size store, always busy, well stocked

  • Joan P

Service not good. Need a good product manager.

  • Aditya Rao
