The Self Checkouts simply don't work any more. If you have say 10 items, the check out will fail 2-3 times. If its busy you can be standing there for minutes each time as the poor shop assistant has to run from unit to unit re-setting every 2nd customers Self Check Out. The entire time the line up of customers just gets larger & larger so people then pack the assisted check out. Its a mess. Many locals are not shopping there anymore. I sit on local Body Corps & many locals whom shopped there for years are now just going to Woolworths in the MacArthur Centre. Prices & choice are better at the bigger Woolworths yet Coles was so handy. Its beyond me how the Shops Management can obviously see what's going on & don't have the units fixed

This is the larger of the 2 Coles located in the Brisbane CBD. This one is situated in the lower floor of the Myer Centre. It stocks a reasonable deli section which the other Coles doesn’t have, as well as more meat, fruit and vegetables than the other Coles. However the selection of fruits and vegetables are frequently dismal looking and of a very tired quality. The same can be said of the selection in the Deli section too. You’re much better of getting your fresh fruits and vegetables at the Wednesday or Sunday farmers market in the city.) However, for the other household items, this Coles has managed to put together a sufficiently appropriate range to help you maintain your weekly grocery shopping.

As a customer, I found this Coles to be quite disappointing. It seemed to lack the same level of quality and variety that I'm used to seeing in other Coles stores. Many items that are discounted in other stores were not on sale here, which was a letdown. While the location is convenient if you live in the CBD, I wouldn't make a special trip here just to shop at this Coles. The staff were friendly enough, but for some reason, the overall vibe of the store just didn't sit well with me.

Worst customer service. The 10dollar automatic 10dollars off in my Coles mastercard is not popping out in the counter even though i got 35000points. The one who assist me didn't know what she is doing and just laugh it off when she give me a wrong instruction to swipe the card which charge my card without the $10off.....

Coles city is a scam. Just charged me full price for left over sliced reduced to clear ham. then when I questioned the price, said it was a mistake - the ticket was'nt removed last night, it will take 15minutes to change the price. So what you charge full price for reduced left over ham in the morning?

Always happy to shop here. It has a decent selection of groceries & staples for a small City supermarket. Also a good fresh food selection, fruit & vegetables usually always good quality. Bakery has an extensive selection of sweet treats

This Coles Express is way too expensive, they never have any specials, and you have to pay full price for everything. There is a difference between convenience and getting ripped off. I go to Woolworths now in the MacArthur Centre.

City centre quick in, quick out market with most things you'll ever need. Very busy at lunch times otherwise still busy. The exit via the self service checkouts is cluttered.

Quick checkout with the option to use self checkout or staff. Very convenient location in the mall

Can't go wrong with Coles. Just a small inner city supermarket with a medium sized selection.
