"Coles is like a routine"
"Great little Coles! The store is located next to the entrance of the Queen Plaza Mall (Adelaide street), up the escalator It's a small Coles but it has everything! I loved that at the entrance of Coles (next to the checkout counters) it has a coffee station with the option of a plant base milk machine and another dairy milk machine"
"This is the newer of the 2 Coles located in the CBD"
"Recently popped into Coles on Adelaide St, Brisbane, and was pleasantly surprised by their new range of quick meal options"
"Brand new opened on 23 Feb 2022"
Coles is like a routine. Can't skip it. But, my yesterday's experience was very weird. Incident one: I got a half loaf cabbage which was $1.90 and at the self checkout machine I was charged $3.50 which I realised after going back home. I went today to clarify and they understood so gave me a full refund for the same. Incident two: The same day, I got a kg of gourmet tomatoes and it was $6.50 per kg. The weight was 850gms and I knew it would lesser than because obviously.. At the self checkout it was charged $8.50 for 850gms. I thought it must be my mistake so I checked again but it was the same. I called the staff member and explained, she cross checked the price and gave me the price as per 850gms and finally it was charge $5.62. And guess what, I went today and saw that they had removed the price note under the tomato section today. I saw few Instagram posts that had a similar experience and the same thing had happened with me yesterday. I urge everyone to please check the total of such items at the checkout and specially the self checkout. I don't know how many numbers of people must have overpaid yesterday and this is not at all fair. What about the elderly people? People with disability or even with people who hardly have time to check all this because they just have so much trust in Coles like I do. Kind request to Coles please rectify this immediately with the self checkout machines. Location: Coles Local, Queen street mall, Brisbane City.
Great little Coles! The store is located next to the entrance of the Queen Plaza Mall (Adelaide street), up the escalator It's a small Coles but it has everything! I loved that at the entrance of Coles (next to the checkout counters) it has a coffee station with the option of a plant base milk machine and another dairy milk machine. In addition, you can prepare your own coffee. Also, it has another station where you can prepare natural orange juice. The place is very well organized, clean and spacious. Like the other Coles, it has many vegan options, such as Be natural, So Good, Vege, Beyond meat, Pana, among others. On the other side of the checkout counters, there is another Macaroons station, but no vegan option. It was very nice shopping at the store. Very nice staff!
This is the newer of the 2 Coles located in the CBD. The store is design to cater more to the CBD work community and holiday goers. Instead of a deli, there are shelves of pre-packed food like prosciutto, ham, olives, sun dried tomatoes etc. There’s a terrific baked goods section with bread and cakes from high-end bakers like King’s Bakery. There are lots of dips, salsas and entertaining options to choose from. The selection of ice creams and vegan ice creams is excellent. There’s a fresh coffee maker as well as fresh orange juice maker on site. The pick-your-own ice cream and mochi near the checkout is a nice little add-on. Toiletries and cleaning products are limited but sufficient.
Recently popped into Coles on Adelaide St, Brisbane, and was pleasantly surprised by their new range of quick meal options. Perfect for those on-the-go or those, like me, who sometimes need a speedy yet delicious dinner solution after a long day. The variety is impressive, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Each meal I've tried so far has been both tasty and convenient. It's evident Coles is stepping up their game to meet the needs of the modern urban dweller. Kudos to the team for constantly innovating and keeping the shelves stocked with fresh, high-quality options. Highly recommend.
Brand new opened on 23 Feb 2022. Good selection of items on offer, but few. Some out of the ordinary items available in bakery, ice cream, chips section. The front seems too spacious that it seems a bit of a wasted space. Would be great to see something extra or special happening in that space. Nice mural above the escalators. Overall well use of the top floor on Adelaide Street. Parking is difficult. There is no parking right there as it is in the city.
Nice store very convenient metro not many specials but there is FREE COFFEE TILL 17th OF JUNE 2023 1 PER DAY EACH CUSTOMER you can chose to donate or not it doesn't really matter I'd suggest you use your money to help those in need living on the streets of Brisbane or perhaps with this sudden free gift of coffee it may encourage you to be of service to humanity and preform and act of kindness BE HAPPY ;)
This Coles has recently opened in the CBD. No doubt replacing the one which used to be in Queens Plaza. Actually I find this branch of Coles very enjoyable to browse. It has lot's of different & unique groceries which are hard to find anywhere else. In particular the bakery section has a very tempting selection, such as items from local bakeries.
Love it! The store is clean and spacious. Everything is displayed neatly and categorised appropriately eg vegetarian, heat to eat, entertaining areas. There are also "slice your bread" , a "juice fresh juice" and a "make your own coffee" ☕️ stations! Also, appreciate Brisbane's aboriginal name Meanjin. I wish more people knew that
Great central store. Has all you could need and a good range in each section. Staff were friendly There is a self service and a manned service check out so both options available. The front says liquor land and there is a smaller liquor store but the main section is the groceries!
This brand new Coles is spacious, fresh, well laid out, airy and has natural light! There are a few items on offer that are not usually found in a regular supermarket, such as a self serve coffee station and Jocelyn's Provisions amazing biscuits.
Unprofessional check out staff, didn’t scan my flybuy causing me miss out on $150 worth of flybuy during Apple gift card 20x point promotion! Self checkout machine always ask me to scan Flybuy, will not be using human staffed checkout again!
The workers are always on their phones and are no where to be seen when you want one of them to pack your groceries at the checkout. And when they do they complain and squash everything into 1 bag so it breaks when walking home.
The most overrated and overpriced Coles I've ever been too . Cadbury mini eggs $4 at Coles Fairfield Cadbury mini eggs $9 at Coles Brisbane CBD Yes I get the rent will be more but that's just ripping people off ..
Staffs are so friendly, they made my day brighter by giving that extra smiles. I feel like more stores in the city should go check out how they do the customer servicing. The whole store is very clean and tidy too
I am actually closer to the myer center coles but checked it out cuz it was new..and im so glad I did. Its new clean spacious and a bit posh. Coles can we PLZ have those self slice bread machines in all coles...
Awesome new Coles supermarket hidden near the corner of Burnett Lane and Queen St Mall. It's got everything you need. A bit smaller than a suburban Coles but seems bigger than a typical city Coles
Pretty good coles this one, got most of the necessary stuff you need. Tidy little store with half decent staff unlike most other coles I’ve been too lately probably one of the cleanest as well
Very clean and well-presented, certainly feels more up-market than most Coles stores. However, due to the nature of its small floorspace, the range of some food items is very limited.
THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH PAIN AU CHOCOLAT IN THE MORNING! CONSIDER LIMITING THE AMOUNT EACH PERSON CAN HAVE OR, AT THE VERY LEAST, PROVIDE MORE FOR EVERYONE! IT IS FRUSTRATING !!!!
Really like this place its like a treasure for me. This shop here is very organized and has great location. All in one shop and has everything I needed. Highly recommended!!!
My favorite food store in Australia, they had coconut water on sale which I brought back to our cruise ship since they didn't have one available at all. Celebrity solstice.
New store. Discovered by accident. Hot food selection goes very very quickly. Yes it's the city centre but when will these stores learn about stock levels vs demands.
A fancy Coles with everything you need to entertain or cook a dinner party. Also handy and convenient to grab something on your way home or during your work day.
A bit of an oasis, in the lack of good value food, of the Roma St station area. Near the good walkway across the Brisbane River, to the cultural centre.
The store is great when you find it. Don't go to 79 Adelaide St, It is up escalators on the corner of Albert St and Burnett Lane, behind 79 Adelaide.
2 very lovely ladies tending to the self checkout today. I forgot my bananas and came back and they handed it to me. Friendly staff
This Coles will not have discounts like other Coles. Maybe mainly in the city so does not comply like other Coles great discounts
Good little store but with little variety in terms of groceries. Mainly for picking up a good value snack on your lunch break.
Plenty of oranges on the shelf, a working machine and plastic bottles, yet staff refuse to squeeze any fresh orange juice
As central Brisbane doesn't seem to have a full Coles store this only has limited items no kitchenware for example!
Living in the city this store is convenient for me, it has a good range of groceries for flying visits after work.
Nice coles, has everything you need and is right in the middle of the city, it has a nice modern look to it.
nice clean tidy shopping environment fresh food and new items it’s should beat Myers’s coles to the ground
Not too sure what's happening but I failed to find any of the half price promotions in this new store.
I like the atmosphere however very limited organic options. More organic products would be great.
A well designed layout that I found easy to navigate. Appears to be a good array of products.
Doesn't have the range compared to other Coles, but it's good for a quick shop in the city!
Not only is the orange juice machine forever broken… but its displayed pricing is wrong!!!
Don't miss this place...And do try the Coles salted peanuts in big packets, simply devine
Great store once you know how to find it (hint - the entrance is not on Adelaide St).
Very nice well organised store, has all essentials and more. Nice and helpful staff.
Great Location and convenient for shopping, central location of city of Brisbane
Lovely small supermarket. Many items not found in regular Coles supermarkets.
Well set out store and friendly staff. Wish it opened a bit earlier than 7am
Not Asian are all from China , I unhappy that the clerk thinks I’m Chinese
This is perfect for the little too up shopping you need to do on the run.
Better than most Coles but limited selection and not competitive prices
Surprisingly large and well laid out for a CBD supermarket. Nice work!
Not as big as suburban stores but ok to get sandwiches and small items
I always find the staff here particularly helpful and friendly
Good range and handy to Brisbane CBD. Up escalator. Very new.
Nice little store, close to King George Square bus station
Overpriced and doesn't honour Coles advertised specials.
Nice Coles, with different brands than other comes.
I was unable to use cash at the self check out.
Centrally located for all your grocery needs.
Well kept store. Good range. Friendly staff.
Useful & convenient in the city
Nice big new supermarket
