I loved this cafe and would be a regular at it if I lived in Brisbane. They are just great. The food is good. I had grilled fish with chips and salad, a simple meal but beautifully prepared and presented. I was interested to see that the salad was dressed with herbs, I'd have liked a little oil in it but it was very nice as it was. The service was absolutely first rate so I'm sure that if I'd asked for some oil it would have been provided. For dessert I had Tiramisu, made in house, and I have never had a better one; it makes the one we often have at home look like Amateur Hour, this was an experience in itself, and was absolute Food Heaven. The coffee is of a good standard and acceptable to a Melbourne person. I only had one meal there, lunch, but I also spent an evening there, drinking wine and people watching. I particularly appreciated the waiter's attitude when I couldn't find my credit card, he was so relaxed and not bothered that I was able to remain calm and find it at the bottom of my handbag. That nice young man also took my wine to keep safe while I went out for a cigarette, reminding me that one should never leave one's drink unattended in a public place. This level of care for the customer, I felt, really went above and beyond, and if I visit Brisbane again, Cafe Mondial will be at the top of my list.

Wonderful! As a regular patron, I can eagerly attest to the attentiveness and professionalism of both the wait and kitchen staff. Open from breakfast till evening, I have observed the chef make many special orders to accommodate guests. Highly recommended!

Flat with no steps, and the alleyway tables are nicely spaced apart. Recommend the alleyway for neuro-spicey patrons as the curbside tables are very busy and densely packed.

William, the waiter, was just wonderful. I’ve been working in an hospitality and a customer service environment for a quiet time, and I can definitely say he makes a difference. The approach, friendly vibe around, the way he interacts with the customer is just amazing. I’ve had one of the best breakfasts I could’ve had in Australia and not necessarily because of the product (the brekkie was just yummmmmmmmm !!) but because of how he made me feel. This place is definitely one of the best I’ve been to. I was definitely satisfied l and will come back there soon. Would like to thank you so much ! Small things made a huge difference ! Thank you !

This little place was what we needed, good food and unpretentious. Tables are outside, there are only few tables inside, but not much space. The outside tables are in the pathway so people passing through are very close to the tables, so it's better to sit on the street side. The staff was very friendly and the food was good quality and tasty. Bathrooms is a bit of a challenge, need to go inside the hotel to them go out again to the parking area, not ideal. Recommendable.

Have walked past on so many occasions and decided to grab a take away coffee yesterday. We were acknowledged upon our arrival, placed the order, and didn't have to wait long. I had a peek in the cabinet in front and looked like they had a decent variety of sweets and baked goodies for sale. I got a medium cappacino with oat milk. The coffee was alright.

This was our first visit and we chose it for breakfast. The cafe was around 3/4 full and we were gratefully amazed with the speed of our food to arrive. The photo attached was the big breakfast, quantity was no issue, nor was the quality. My wife got the French toast, it was equally substantial. We would happily return.

So popular and fashionable cafe at Royal Albert hotel, and Mediterranean cruise. located corner of Albert street & Elizabeth street CBD. Had big beacon and eggs for breakfast. Amazingly huge and delicious, also omellet too. Tea was very hot, it's so good! Delightful to sit here and have lovely meals. Staff were friendly and they made me feel happy! Much appreciated for great meals and your service!

Friendly customer service. This place is really nice, their Egg Benedict with Salmon is tasty and very well presented. The service is fast and they offer Coke in glass bottles which tastes so much better. I would definitely recommend.

On the New Year day I received the warmest welcome and service when it was pouring due to storms. So crowded but very nice atmosphere. I might be a picky foodie and a coffee snob. It was okay but far from impressive. Overall it was a positive experience.

Excellent value for great food. This is the second time I've been here and it is STILL a place with good basic food done really well. Check out the specials board at lunchtime. Everthing was fresh. I will be back.
