Came to meet up with family here. They said food was average so didn't order food. Ordered only drinks from fridge juice and soft drink. They wouldn't give us the drinks immediately, the chick at front who was extremely rude (most staff were all pretty much under age of 18) said couldn't hand us our drinks had to be delivered to our table. I dont understand this and said so could literally grab our drinks and sit and was told again no it has to be delivered. Drinks out of the fridge that went warm on the counter until we got them 15 mins later after a bunch of coffee orders. How is this efficient why not just pass us our drinks and let us sit down all have to do is turn around grab drinks and hand them to us and we sit. I don't understand this inefficiency as a business why double even triple handle drinks that come out of the fridge. Absolutely ridiculous.

Absolutely bazaar service. I stood in line at the register while she served 1 person for 10 minutes. The cashier wrote down their order on a piece of paper and then punched it into the till asking unnecessary question like "how many people are eating? You have ordered 3 meals but only 2 drinks" It was right at lunch time on a busy day and then after confirming the order on the till which she was so slow at she then roamed around the kitchen area putting the dockets on the boards. Just so wildly in efficient, if she was in training why was she not supported? If she isn't in training why does she still have this job...

A fairly reliable cafe for a feed. Good coffee. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Not sure how the 2 eggs were poached but one yoke was runny, and the other was solid and dry. A little bit of garlic during the sauté of the mushrooms would go a long way. Four slices of bread was extremely generous but probably unnecessary as they dry out and harden before you get a chance to eat them. Would have been happy with just two slices. Social distancing was adhered to and there weren't any tables with dirty plates sitting there (unlike 3 other cafes in the center which we decided not to dine at for that reason alone).

Came in this morning with my Grandma and was immediately greeted by the lovely young lady serving. She was full of energy and very enthusiastic, a great quality to have. Ordered two little cakes and drinks and sat down. Within 2 minutes our cakes came which were amazing, so good! Grandma said “best orange and almond cake I’ve ever had”. Was also great seeing all of the other staff communicate with each other and work as a team. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Great job Cafe XS!

OMG! the best extra frothy cappuccino in Brisbane!! Every time I was at the shopping centre over the year, cappuccino was exactly like any other time i had it: froth is like snow - real milk, coffee very tasty too. Too good !! Staff is amazing as well - they make sure you are sitting in a clean table - as soon as you sit down they will wipe your table properly - that is a very rare treatment in Brisbane’s cafe places! My fav coffee place for sure Thank you

Rolled in and got sat straight away. Wandered up to the counter and got served with a smile. Coffee came out and was delicious, and the food came shortly after, which was really good and a good serving size. There is no need for any of the fast food restaurants near by, this was a winner. Will be back for sure!

What more can I say. This has been one of my favourite haunts for over 5 years. It has been through one renovation, survived COVID and still continues to thrive. Reason is that you get quality service from well trained staff with a variety of delectable offerings. My favourite dish when I am famished is their Big breakfast (A standard by which I measure most cafes that offer one). It is as good as any I have had.

I grab a chai latte yesterday and I have to say that's the worst one I have ever had. They only took less than one minute to make my chai latte (I wonder if it is freshly made) It tastes just like instant coffee. What's worse is that there are too much sugar on the bottom of the cup so it was too sweet. My experience here were very good an year ago but somehow it changes a lot.

Stopped here for a quick coffee whilst shopping at Carindale. Staff were friendly, service was quick and the coffee was great. Really enjoyed the passion fruit cheesecake also! Would return here in future. Thanks!

CAFE XS is the best cafe in Carindale Westfield...only place for great butter cake cup cakes...they cater for gluten and lactose intolerance...accomodating friendly staff and good coffee...I come from Capalaba to Carindale for the cupcakes and the gluten free range of food...nothing like this in Capalaba Shopping Centres...sad but true...

Came to this cafe after experiencing some unfriendly behaviour at another cafe in the centre. Was greeted by a gentleman who I later found out was the owner. Friendly, smile and even chatted to the children despite being super busy. Table staff were also friendly and brought our order over with a smile. Again acknowledging the children.

My mum and I always have a large nachos to share and it's delicious! $16 for a lovely lunch, beautiful coffee and a great spot for people watching. Staff are friendly, service is great. Of all the places to eat in Carindale, we keep coming back here. Highly recommend.

We enjoy a light lunch every Saturday . The toasted Turkish BLT is always tasty. The menu also includes lime spiders. The lovely lady who takes our orders is a wonderful ambassador for the Cafe. Well done Cafe XS.

Love love LOVE. The food here amazing and very inexpensive. I’m always on the look out for a really fresh meal with great service. Definitely come here for the best eggs Benny. A great cafe situated well away from the usual hustle and bustle of a shopping centre eatery area. The coffee is always good and the food is always fresh and tasty. The cakes and sweet delights is a good variety and of a high standard-tasty! Plenty of seating and definitely a great place to meet up for a chat and cuppa.

Great food! Awesome customer service. There was a mistake in my order ( ordered a extra dish), I didn’t release until it came to the table. The manager helps me to refund it straight way. Thank you very much for the kindness.

Went there today 1 February 2019. Went to order was told to get in the cue in not a friendly way. It was as if they were putting themselves out in providing me with a service. Walked out and will never go there again.

Nice location overlooking all shops. Ordered scrambled eggs from all day menu, was very disappointed.. very watery, nothing like scrambled eggs at all. Asked for extra hot coffee but was not so.

An iced coffee is an easy beverage to make but mine today was weak in flavour and only 3/4 filled cream did not fill the space on the top. A little disappointed wouldn't return there.

Ordered a banana milkshake and got a vanilla milkshake. Coffee (flat white) was boiling hot with no micro bubbles - could have made a Nescafe Blend 43 at home taste better.

Ordered a really dry Turkish sandwich which I instantly regretted; inedible. I ordered it with brie because cultured and aged cheeses have very little lactose.

Was always a regular however it has gone down a lot. The food is not as good as it used to be, coffee is very milky and it has just lost its vibe.

Good food and drink, but the price doesn’t make sense. I had two small keep cups and asked for two cappuccinos, they charged me $9.60!!

Stir the coffee if it has sugar in it!! This is a no-brainer.. 1 sugar; all at the bottom of the cup for a big crunchy sugar hit. Fail.

Always a great coffee, sometimes it's busy, but the staff are always friendly. And, its a great spot to sit & watch the world go by!!
