"Very good aldi"
Once again Aldi has disappointed me. The staff at Darra are lovely, but the quality of the fresh produce is very poor. I brought carrots which tasted a bit weird, then in 2 days were covered in black mold. I keep my carrots in the fridge. On the packet it stated display until 5/12/2020. It was the 2/12 that they were covered in mold. This is not the first time this type of thing has happened with their produce, avocados are always dodgy to buy from there. The cheeses your soft cheeses and frying cheese the quality start off good then over time just goes down hill. The production of them becomes very poor. I won't buy these items or fresh produce from Aldi anymore. I have had a couple of friends who live in different parts of Brisbane have experienced the same poor quality. It's a shame!
Had a lousy experience this morning. Moved to a newly opened counter where the man servimg us had a Stern look on his face. No hello or anything just scanned and pushed our stuff through printed thrr rcipt and handed it to me. No goodbye, nothing. I watched him and he actually spoke to the customer after me. I spoke to manager about this incident and her words were "I'm not him, so I can't speak for him" and other nonsensical excuses and a polite brush off like "ill talk to him", like we haven't heard that before. Perhaps aldi needs to train their counter staff on better customer service and avoiding racist behaviour.
Unfriendly staff, especially the young staff is grumpy. I returned one item (solar x-mas lights), which had a short on 1 LED, which made the whole chain fail intermittently, obviously bad quality. They took it back but didn't apologize or anything. I spent hours of installing it and wasted cable ties. Can only recommend not to buy electronic products. On other items like veggies, salad or frozen meals, they run out quite often, so you need to be lucky to get what you want. Very inconvenient if you don't live close by. Parking up front is a plus and the waiting time at the counter is usually not very long.
Friendly helpful staff person helped me figure out the trolley gizmo and gave me a token! My first visit to do a large enough shop to require a trolley, so his advice was much appreciated. Appears a clean well run store, reasonably good fruit & vege, same price as Coles/Woolies. Aldi brand dairy, juice etc great value, no sugar free cereal or Vittoria coffee (so still went to woolies). Big car park, easy access off Monier Rd. Quick in & out. Next to Brumbys, Liquorland, post Office, sushi & pizza places. Pub adjacent.
Very good aldi. Not very busy. Good for parking. Pretty much in front of the shop. Why bother bother having wheelchair access parking wh n you got this. Its allow too easy now at this place at the back of Darra. Very good for me and my girl. She loves coming here. She really loves. Its like for her so very romantic . Much better than any restaurant I have been to. Yes aldi at Monier Darra, is great. I will keep at this place. I highly recommend it to anyone who hates crowded places. Because I do seriously hate crowds.
Easy to park in front of this store so it makes for a quick in and out. Terrific if you only want a few bits and pieces to add to your weekly shopping after work or anytime. The shelves are well stocked. Trolleys are available at the front of the store. Staff are always friendly and efficient. My favourite Aldi location. No stairs, no multi storey car park - everything on the flat ground. Other shops along the strip include chemist, bakery, fruit and veg, Post office, pizza, sushi, drive in bottle shop and Woolies.
I never use to shop at ALDI, idk why but I just didn't like em but one time Woolies were sold out of something that I always buy so I popped into ALDI and I got it there. Nowadays I will only pop into ALDI to get a handful of items. I really don't like the idea of me having to pack my groceries myself. I guess at least they aren't self service checkouts lol Yeah stuff that! I have never used a self service checkout and I never will either.
It's Aldi what else is there to say, they had 1 person on checkout with another who would hop on another checkout when the lines got longer. The store was clean and tidy except the aisle where all the other goods were, there were items out of boxes and just left on top off all the other stuff. Maybe when they do there specials they should have a display of the items, maybe people wouldn't pull stuff out as much if the could see it before buying
Jason went beyond his scope of what a retail store would do. I could not believe how kind he was and compared to other stores I felt safe going to his store on a special wednesday buys. I will continue to go to this store to support amazing friendly staff. I live just under an hour away to this store and prefer the trip. I hope other stores take notice of how they manage the store
Well tried Also for a change. Have to say it was well worth it. Once you get your head around the products you realise that Aldi has been very clever at working out how to provide a good selection without aisles and aisles of stuff. I think this is where we will ship from now. At half the price you pay at Woolies or Coles.
Pretty much got asked if I stole a mother energy drink from here when I bought it from Woolworths prior. Blonde lady with accent rolled her eyes at me as if I was lying. Their is a certain way you ask these questions so you dont offend the customer and I was very much offended. Please retrain staff
Easy access and well laid out. Good selection of stock. Nice wide aisles, friendly and helpful staff. Would be 5 stars but I find the lower rack on the Aldi trolleys at this store are not designed as well as others - I've often lost cartons that have slid off when rolling back through the carpark.
It's like all the others ALDI's. Super easy access as you can park right out front, although you do have to cross the car park access road, so keep a look out! There are other shops in the precinct, a chemist next door and also a Woolworths, bottle shop and bakery. Some fast food outlets too.
Aldi Darra is a new style Aldi store, with improved shelving and signage. Same staple range as other Qld Aldi's, with the usual interesting weekly buys in the centre of the store. The staff here are quick to open an extra checkout when required, and I've never had to wait long to be served.
I love that I dont have to troll though a mile of stuff to find what I want. I love that Aldi runs special items and changes them every week. I love the friendly staff and would happily marry one. I love the convenient hours they are open. I love it's local to me. I love it.
Website says open until 8:00pm, however arrived at front doors at 7:56pm and already shut cleaning the floors! Manager told me through the window it was 8:00, I guess my phone, watch and other customer at the door are all wrong !!! Very disappointing service
Aldi it's the only place to shop in OZ! It has more Aussie items than all the others & usually at a better price. I am waiting for Kaufland, the other German Supermarket Chain. They will kick everyone's Arse!
The Nespresso Coffee is a great find - aluminium capsules too. Start at $2.99 for pack of 10 pods Not the biggest variety, but apart from that, they are cheaper than the Big Two in all areas.
Good store, they didn't have the keter garden planter in stock but they checked other stores and told me which ones had it. Good customer service. Now I have my beautiful planter at Home.
A more modern Aldi, just have to get used to the new layout. But I love the rollers at the end of the till to help move your groceries along and more room to pick up your groceries
Poor quality products sold cheap. Bought a garden hose with 10 year warranty. Leaks from the embossed design as well as expands like a balloon in the hot sun when under pressure.
Very convenient for me. After work I just drive around the corner not thinking about the traffic and there I am five minutes later. The staff are very helpful and professional.
Recently renovated, not particularly busy at nights, friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Best of all, grabbing a park within 20m of the door is entirely possible!
It's an Aldi, nice cheap groceries, good Dutch delicacies, interesting random bargains. This one has the new store layout and the expanded area for packing your bags.
Always spend up big in Aldi now. The young girl who always serves me on my shopping day is just so friendly and courteous. It is a joy to shop there every week.
Very convenient if you live close by . It has good vegetables at a very reasonable price. As well as other basic products. Prices are good and good savings.
Unfriendly staff with no interest in helping customers….. 0/10. Some of the quoted “policies” used to excuse their poor behaviour with customers are a joke.
Got everything I need and if the products I require are not there then woolies is next door! Always very easy to find a park which is close to shops!!
The staff are young, rude and don't tell you what to do with my belongings cause they don't offer bags or box's at checkout. Never going back!
Absolutely great staff. They are providing a great service to the public during this difficult times, with great customer friendly attitude.
Always great value. Staff are super helpful. Just got a portable air conditioner for a good price. Gotta be happy with that.
A bit larger than average Aldi size and staff were very helpful to get stuff from out the back when shelves out of stock.
Umm Aldi, really why go there if you have to go to woolworths to get what Aldi do not stock. Not really worth the trouble
Being Christmas Eve I thought it would be chaotic but surprisingly no. In and out quickly and staff very friendly.
My favourite Aldi is the western suburbs. Great size and layout. You're never left waiting too long qt checkouts
Love it, very friendly and worm staff. Plenty of discounted items and lots of free parking. Highly recommend.
Awesome Deal on Radical Robotics. On the look out for Curious Universe Shocking Electricity box set
It's great to Goto Aldi Darra, as you can still get decent bread at Woolworths while you are there!
Really enjoy how the products sold here will continue to perform outside of their warranty.
Super friendly staff, one of the best ALDI experiences my wife and I have had in Brisbane
Really great, large store with huge range of items for sale. Friendly, helpful staff
Good place to find the things that have run out at other aldi stores, good staff,
Lovely staff. Great prices. Stock levels sometimes out for long periods of time.
Purchased what I needed and the cashier was very friendly happy with what I got
Prefer this store to others that are closer. Easy access and pleasant staff.
Nice sized Aldi. Will be closed for the first 2 weeks of June for a re-fit.
Prices are reasonable and affordable. Customer service is great …
Bigger and better range than the Mt Ommaney store + easier parking.
Great place for (occasional) cheap truffle oil and porcini ravioli
Almost brand new shop. Lots of healthy food varieties available.
Great prices good service very low prices and a great layout too
Good Aldi's, used we can get everything we want Aldi is awesome
GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY, SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN COLES OR WOOLIES.
Very accessible, plenty to choose from & plenty of parking.
Far quicker through the check out than most ALDI stores
Newly renovated, easy to find everything friendly staff
Never really had a bad experience here, pleasant staff.
It was very dated and i think all aldi need a redesign
Great for shipping and staff are always very helpful.
Easy access Aldi, with the nice older style layout.
A little off the main thoroughfares. Easy parking.
Range of products getting bigger, and top quality.
Great prices, clean environment, courteous staff.
Always a pleasure. Often pick up random bargains.
Friendly staff with great varied weekly specials
Well organized, reasonable prices vs quality.
Clean, fresh and wide aisle. Friendly staff .
Good stock on special items, friendly staff
My favourite store.....what more can I say.
Nice clean store that never seems too busy.
Great parking and decent stock availability
Nice big store with plenty of parking...
Quiet, well stocked, friendly staff.
