"I occasionally shop at Aldi Oxley"
"My shopping experience at Aldi Supermarket(Sydney), in general, is quite good and pleasant"
"ALDI is ALDI"
"This Aldi has the same as most stores and staff seem friendly enough but its a absolute nightmare parking here! Impossible to navigate a trolley to your car even when its off peak shopping times"
"Like pretty much all Aldi stores in Queensland, there are never enough tills open at any one time"
I occasionally shop at Aldi Oxley. On Sunday 17 April there was an elderly lady behind me in Q. She had cat litter and there was a tear in the pack. This was the last pack. She asked staff if she could get a discount for the amount that may have been lost. Staff mentioned it was already discounted and that was the price. She mentioned she needed this , was for a kitten she had rescued and said she will take it at the price. Just prior to her paying for it, staff member came back and said ma'am you can have this for free and informed cashier. What a great gesture. I was putting my groceries in car and lady was close by so mentioned that was kind of staff to let you have the kittie litter. She proceeded to tell me how she found small kitten. It was now in her car she picked it from carriage lovingly and showed me. she had taken it to vet, cat had cat flu, bought her medication and mentioned that the ALDI Cat litter was the best. She obviously spent a good amount of her time caring for health of the cat. What a lady!!!. Again so kind of ALDI staff and his empowerment and initiative to assist the lady. He didn't know the full story of her circumstances.Wish cat speedy recovery. She is in wonderful and very carrying hands Thought I would share this.
My shopping experience at Aldi Supermarket(Sydney), in general, is quite good and pleasant. But can't back my anger and displeasure in saying Aldi at Oxley(Brisbane) sucks. They store the poorest quality of food, especially fruits and vegetables. This is not my first bad time experience. Just because there is no other Coles or Woolies nearby, they really are taking customers for granted by serving outdated and almost rotten food. Management should really take this seriously and address this issue. Will never step into this branch again.
ALDI is ALDI. You go in, you see the same layout. You buy the same stuff. I give five stars for price and consistency. You shop at ALDI mainly for price. And they deliver that price every time. The value you get at ALDI is well above what you pay, hence why I love this place. The staff there are quite friendly. Don't count on exquisite service. It's ALDI, you didn't come here for that. It's an efficient money saving machine. And that's exactly what you get.
This Aldi has the same as most stores and staff seem friendly enough but its a absolute nightmare parking here! Impossible to navigate a trolley to your car even when its off peak shopping times. The layout of this very busy shopping centre is all wrong. This has caused myself to move stores even if not the closest store to home.Aldi Darra is great.. shop stress free with parking all the time.
Like pretty much all Aldi stores in Queensland, there are never enough tills open at any one time. Lots of staff on the floor stacking shelves but never enough manning the tills. It's high time someone high up in the management chain went over to Europe to see how the Aldi stores are run there. They would certainly see how shoppers there enjoy a much better shopping experience.
I don't want to have my half-decent, knock-off, wannabe groceries thrown at me. I hate thumbeling to find my phone/card to pay while my hands are full of stuff... no where to go but a bench that isn't even accessible when you're trying to catch your groceries. Otherwise staff generally nice and cool random stuff in the middle.
If you are managing all emquiries online, why do you still have a phone number? What’s the point of advertising a phone number if you no longer speak to customers via phone? Makes about as much sense as an ashtray on a motorcycle. This just proves that your management team suffer from a severe case of intellectual deficiency.
Excellent Shop to go and get some products that you won't get anywhere else, friendly staff. It just needs a renovation like the other ALDI stores and talking about the whole shopping complex, needs a new image, colour and some TLC. The layout of the carpark is very bad and chaotic less plants, more space. …
I always feel like the roof is a little low in here, at least compared to the other Aldi's that I go to. It makes me feel quite cramped and rushed, and ruins the shopping experience a bit - which is annoying as Aldi shopping is rarely straight forward or able to be rushed. Good products though and nice staff.
Sold me out of date Kale/Baby Spinach yesterday and only realised when I got home. Employees obviously don’t check shelf stock for quality. Only ever have one register open, sometimes lines are super long. Also they charge a surcharge for paying with debit cards, every cent adds up nowadays.
Aldi doesn't offer many different brands not like any other big supermarkets and customer service is very minimal but it doesn't bother me. I like this concept instead of spending time to decide which brand or product to choose from. Shop in Aldi can save quite a fair bit of money.
An ALDI store that is nowhere near as big as some of their stores and it is fairly poorly set out and rather difficult to find things. Often there are not enough staff on registers and I would write this at the very best 2 out of 5 stars and I personally wouldn't bother going back
This Aldi is always clean and organised, with enough staff working that the queues don't get too long. Amazing prices on their regular products, and the specials are also great value. The parking can be pretty bad at times, but that's an issue with the shopping centre, not Aldi.
The staff here are great! Sione helped me get a trolley with a baby seat right from the front of the stack, there's no way I could've moved all the trolleys by myself whilst trying to hold my baby. It was such a lovely helpful thing to do for me I really appreciated it. Thanks
Dan Murphy sells alcohol. The last time I went they didn't have what I wanted so I bought an alternative product, so wide is their range of alcohol that this was possible. I was also able to fulfill my childhood dream of purchasing Carlsberg Elephant. Nice.
I like Aldi's Gins. Unfortunately, the stupid Queenslanders voted against selling alcohol in Supermarkets. What happened? Coles & Woolies bought a lot of pubs , bottleshops & rule the price! Have a look how much booze costs at Aldis in NSW & Victoria!
I have been to a lot of Aldi stores in SEQ and hands down this is the worst. Too many people and it seems limited in most lines especially the meat. Lucky there a good butcher and fruit and veg shop in complex. I will never come back never.
Good thing about aldi is every store layout is the same so doesn't matter which one you are in you can find stuff. Just wish they could have a fast lane for people with one or two items, as sometimes if there is just one lane open you can
Nice but didn't enjoy narrow spaced check out and no self serve machines had to be served by woman was abit of a wait . Also two men were arguing in ALDI was quite heated unpleasant experience but it's a good Shop and staff were pleasant
This Aldi has a great selection and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the car parking arrangements here, make shopping difficult. Car park is far too small and many shoppers appear to have extreme difficulty navigating through it.
Aldi is fantastic as always but the parking here is a mess!! I work nights so I try to go shopping during the day. Either no one around here works or the carpark isn't used just by customers! It's infuriating to say the least!
Bargains, best meat and quality, lots of variety cheapest groceries shop lay out clear clean, I spent $80 and got a full trolley, frozen section is so good and so cheap, best bread buys, everything is so cheap her …
Nice place to shop although grocery there now is at double the price tha what it uses to be last year but some stuff are still low comped to other supermarkets.I usually compare at every place before buying.
The issue with this store is simple, not enough staff, only ever seems to be one checkout open, seen a line up of 15 customers before they even called for help. Poor selection of stock, gaps everywhere..
Fairly well stocked. The only thing I noticed that was a little off-putting when I was there, was a few staff having a loud chat in the middle of the aisle about there personal dietary intake.
Not a super large variant, but has most of what you need. Mostly friendly helpful staff, ample parking. Other conveniently placed shops nearby if you want a coffee or similar before you shop.
One of the smaller Aldi's so they do tend to run out of some of the regular lines from time to time. Parking can be difficult at the busier times and the car park is not the best layout.
Typical aldi setup EXCEPT the checkout line actually moved at a reasonable pace making the whole shopping experience a lot less infuriating compared to an atypical aldi store.
Grocery store is ok, but NEVER do they have enough staff on the checkouts. They make their customers line up right down the aisle and just wait.... Not good enough I reckon.
Bought two new pillows for $15 these pillows are to stop or minimise snoring and they are so comfortable. My dog Lucy Lou slept through the night so perhaps they do work.
Ah the Aldi model. Only 1or 2 registers open at any one time so why have 4? This one is a medium sized store and doesn't have a much as Inala. It does have most things
First time I have been there, really wide aisles - love it!. Really clean & well stocked. Had no trouble finding things I wanted, was very happy with my visit there.
Bzzzzz pass... Didn't like this store at all. Aldi prices were good but the store & staff I could easily give them a miss. Horrible place to try & find parking too.
I suppose I liked it because we keep going back there to do our groceries. They may not have the range of the larger supermarkets but they have most of what we need
They are close to all local amenities, affordable price with good variety of products. Good quality products, affordable fresh food competitive with produce store.
Great Customer service. Always has stock I needed. I like shopping here except it's so difficult finding a parking spot so I tend to avoid shopping here if I can.
It's Aldi, great value, great Dutch treats, and random specials. This one has the new store lay out and more room to pack your bags, definitely an improvement.
I have had to throw out smelly meat a few times now. Not sure if it's an issue with their fridges or what but never had a problem with meat from other stores
Im just here for the xbox one. Cheap price, first time they sellin it. tho a bit more games would do. Instead of minecraft and Forza Motorsport:/ …
I hate it. As much as Coles and Woolies are dearer this place is like you’ve been dropped in another country with all the food items unfamiliar to you.
Good place for a shop , plenty of items social distancing isnt that great , but a lot of people don't listen to the rules anyway which is bad enough
A lot of stock I needed was not available. Stupid Covid has stuffed up my new favourite shop. Will have patience and wait till it finally arrives.
Cheaper generally then Coles and woolworths but you get what you pay for. No name brands taste alike but something about them is slightly strange.
I used to shop there all the time but the new ALDI stores nearby are more convenient and don't suffer as much from supply chain shortages.
So much better and cheaper then the big two. Saving 50 dollars a week since seeing the light. Super butcher for meat then happy days.
They had some nice beef but I just cannot like their attitude in the stores and warehouses, they are jut hard to get along with
A great store to shop, however just be prepared as you may have to wait for a checkout person... Good range, and good prices!
Everything there was off brand including the children I purchased. They were black and I am white meaning they are off brand.
Pretty much your average Aldi; it has some good deals but also some bad. There is a decent amount of parking as well.
Can't buy many things because I don't carry coins for the trolley. Stuff gets too heavy so I do main shop elsewhere.
Bit if a small Aldi and car park is a pit small so hard to get a good park especially if you're doing a big shop.
This is a reasonably small Aldi store and it is fairly poorly set out and difficult find what you're looking for
Covid support was not evident. Clean open store. Small Aldi footprint. Staff at checkout pleasant and helpful.
Well located, friendly helpful staff, pricing is good , store is generally clean and tidy. A good place shop.
Ample parking. I believe that on average the meats are better at Aldi than the other supermarket chains.
My new local Aldi has Exceptional customer service with a large range of fresh produce at great prices
This aldi doesn't always have the fancier products and gets small amounts of specials, not a big store
Great variety and quality produce, groceries. The store is always well stocked on my favorite items.
Never have had an issue. I found an ant farm in the middle isle. Took all my might to not buy it.
Decent sized shop. Always good prices. Good parking. Close to other shops/medical facilities etc
Great shop. Friendly staff. Unfortunate that some locals illegally park in the disabled carpark.
Good refurbished store neat and tidy good prices easy to get to flat ground large Carpark
Prices are amazing, what can I say. Shop here all the time, picking up great bargains.
It's a good Aldi, I try and load my bags faster than they can scan.. they always win.
Its okay same as all ALDI stores, slow check outs A bit cheaper on some grocery lines
This Aldi is great and you can always find special buys from previous weeks here.
Good variety of shops plus Tavern and Dan Murphy's. Car park can get very busy.
Decent range but not enough checkouts open, on both occasions I've been there
Great place to shop. Staff are great. Plenty of food stuff and other goodies
One of the best Also Stores. Always find what I want. Very friendly staff.
Great as usual just got my long life Coconut milk for $1.99 winning …
Cheaper groceries than most food stores and fairly new and clean looking
Very helpful and friendly staff and convenient location for most …
Great place to shop. Just need more car parks during peak hour
i wish they had breaks between the aisles like other stores
Aldi is awesome and they are much the same wherever you go
Good clean store quick service plenty of stock on shelves
Nice little place to shop not as busy as the inala store
Great place to shop for groceries. Clean and tidy.
Easy to find and not very busy on the day I went.
Happy shopping experience with discounts …
Good value for money and usually not too busy
Cheap groceries, most of it was pretty good.
Fair prices and a good variety of products
Even Aldi has had to put their prices up!
Love aldi. Every shop is a new adventure
For a small Aldi pretty good bargains.
Good service, easy walk through setup.
Good store, clean and never too busy
