"Love Aldi"
"It's great that they're cheap"
"This Aldi is always clean and not as rushed as coles"
"I was in absolute shock to hear the racial Innuendo from staff and the duty manager over their radio communications today"
"Very handy as you have a number of great stores in the area"
Love Aldi. Always surprises in the middle aisles. I am a beaver for their Stonemill Himalayan Sakr, Chilli and Garlic large grinder. I hoard them as I use it every day on everything. Scrambled eggs, smoked trout, quiche, steak, chicken, Bloody Mary's. Just gives that light kick to anything. Am in heaven, found 3 more today. Their meat section is great, top prices, excellent choice. Their pre cooked meals are fsb time savers. Try the chicken pesto penny pasta dish $10. Feeds 4 very well. Tasty range of smoked salmon, imported Brazilian sausages, so tasty. Great bread soft drinks, chips and dips Best value, very tasty shredded Parmesan cheese. Take your time shopping at Aldi, as the stock constantly changes, and you don't want to miss their uber Specizls Days Wednesday and Saturday!!! The biggest change is the cost. My full shop at Aldi is approx $140, other supermarkets close to $200. That's a huge saving for anyone.
It's great that they're cheap. But it's a shame their staff are so grumpy. Not all of them but enough that it's something I now associate with Aldi compared to Woollies or Coles. The staff are sullen, slow and just a bit fed up. I don't think I've ever been to a supermarket where on more than one occasion the staff have just thrown my receipt in my trolley while I've got my hand out for it. There's just a really weird vibe in their stores. It's like they only advertise for employees on emo websites or something. "Looking for customer facing staff who generally hate the world and people. Apply below!"
This Aldi is always clean and not as rushed as coles. The store layout is easy to navigate and open spaced. It is also modern and has great lighting. It is fantastic for people on a budget, it can be considerably cheaper than other supermarkets. Sometimes Aldi does not always have products that you need, and generally only has mainstream products or their specials. The reason why this is 4 stars and not 5 is because customer service is usually mediocre, sometimes they rush you or seem annoyed when you're trying to keep up to their pace, which can be frustrating. Overall it's a great Aldi
I was in absolute shock to hear the racial Innuendo from staff and the duty manager over their radio communications today. I attend the store with my Asian partner today for veg and a few little items when, who appeared to be the manager, started to make sly racial comments with other staff over their two way radios. I was able to over hear enough to piece together what they where suggesting. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Absolutely discussing behaviour Aldi.
Very handy as you have a number of great stores in the area. This particular Aldi is very quiet during week days, as it's tucked quietly behind a large block of shops. I actually didn't know it was there. The car park is very good, with undercover parking for the hotter months, and the store is always very clean, tidy and well stocked. They are currently renovating this store, so it will only get better.
Aldi Cannon Hill is a clean, tidy store, very helpful staff, always someone on the floor restocking shelves, but will stop and help you. Stock moves quickly. Sake days are fast and furious when popular items on sale. I'm an Aldi Addict! My pantry prices I love their kitchen appliances. My son, a chef, doesn't have an Aldi in Cairns. Texts his shopping lists! Great value, fab service.
Well laid out and modern Aldi store tucked away behind the shopping centre's. Good selection of everyday items and quick service from staff. Plenty of carparks underneath the store and directly out the front with access via lift, stairs or ramp for disabled. Fresh fruit and vegetables usually well stocked and each time I've been hasn't been that busy.
Last 2 times no chicken drumsticks had to go to another store twice. Service At cash registers slopy 2 people in front of me with not much stuff 10 minutes. Did I say someone came in with refund so girl on register stopped Service & someone out back came out to chat, so both of them kept ignoring the 1 checkout &&& 3 customer s.
Unfortunately I can find only a few items without plastic around them to buy. I guess that now a days is be a huge difference if I could have the option to buy what I need without the plastic that I do not need and neither the planet does. Till this happens I'm happy to shop in the smaller markets where They are more mindful.
This review is not related to this store, but to the quality of the furniture the sell occasionally. I bought a wine cabinet which had a very poor paint job and hardware which is not working. I also purchased a queen bed frame with very bad paint quality and full of scratches out of the box.
It was good and cheap as i only had $30 to spend to get some stuff for my kids lunch for the week. And some food. Now these days are so experience it so hard to find a job to support my family even with government helps. It is not enough for every 2 weeks as a new born as well.
Absolutely love this newly refurbished Aldi. The new layout with fresh produce to the front and the freezers at eye level are great. Helpful staff and excellent value...... Not to mention the chances of picking up a power drill along with a loaf of bread …
Staff here are friendly and helpful, unlike some staff at tingalpa they don't put the pressure on you when scanning your items. For some reason they have way more stock and discounts. We prefer to drive the extra 5-10 minutes to go to the Csnnon Hill Aldi
Great store set out like most aldi stores easy to navigate and as usual the savings are reasonable. Parking is really good with quite a bit of underground parking there is a lift to get up stairs if you want it. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
It's a bit tucked away behind KMart, but a well stocked classic ALDI store. I generally park underneath, out of the sun and rain, and take the stairs, a ramp, or lift to the top. Don't forget your shopping bags and a gold coin for the trolley
I was happy to find an Aldi closer to me however the customer service from the lady with the thick long wavy brown hair was very rude and off putting, Despite this Aldi being closer to me I won't be coming back here ever again
Difficult to access by foot or wheelchair. There are no footpaths and the only access to the property is via the vehicle driveway. To get across the carport you need to negotiate cars and delivery trucks. Total nightmare.
I love going to Aldi. They don't stock everything I require but I always go there for so many of their products. I just have to be careful of the middle aisles with all the interesting items they have on sale.
We all know about our be and how great it is for a shop to offer great quality products at a cheap price everyday. The shop has plenty of great parking and great access and the staff are always friendly
Be careful when entering this place. I was ignorant to its wares and entered with the sole purpose of spending $9...30mins and $90+ dollars later...im sitting at home feeling like financial hangover!
I love aldi, but don't arrive past 7pm or there will be almost no fruit and very few vegetables. Other than this, I find the staff very friendly and helpful when I enquire about certain products.
Always enjoy an Aldi shop. Slightly disappointed as I couldn't find the custard tubs that were in another store on the south coast but still a great place to shop for the bare necessities.
The prices maybe low, but it's all a scam they make one cheap then lift prices in other stuff to cover the losses they make to others they set lower, so overall, u don't pay less..
Parking available underneath the building and I was able to quickly grab the groceries I needed and then proceed straight through the checkout - visited the store approx 1.30pm.
Visited first time this store. Couldn't locate some items and asked for assistance and staff were very helpful. Checkout operator was very friendly too. Highly recommended.
Always good prices and open till 8pm on a Sat night. Was nice and quiet there tonight and no que. Staff always friendly and a whole section dedicated to gluten free items.
We live in this store! It’s conveniently close and always has ample parking. Things are inexpensive and quality! I love love the interesting things they sell twice a week!
The team that work here at Cannon Hill Aldi always look focused on keeping the store well stocked and making sure there is enough checkouts open. Friendly service too.
A good sized Aldi store. Good range of products. Wheelchair accessible but all of the checkouts but one can be annoying or impossible to access depending one's chair.
It's Aldi, so you know the prices are better than anywhere else local. Who cares what the staff are like (other reviewers) when the prices are this much better.
Great bargains to be had by all, have to agree with some of the grumpy stuff..one haggard lady in particular i beleive her name is hope or something...lol
Fine, everything good as usual. Still need an entrance on western side facing Bunnings, probably attract more custom if access was easier from this side.
Not arranged the same as other ALDI stores. Fresh fruit and veg is the first thing encountered, so much reorganising the trolley not to crush things.
Please Please Please fix the elevator so I can access the store (disabled). It’s been out of order for a while now and I miss my favourite store.
Been tool many Aldi's. Love them all. But this one shot to the lead today. Great staff service, and the fellow customers were also super helpful
Everything Aldi lovers can expect from an aldi..requires 1 more staff member for peak times as the checkouts usually only have 2 out of 8 open.
Aldi at Cannon Hill was good tonight not too crowded and I was blessed by an angel there which I won't go into now. I cannot thank her enough.
Easily the cleanest and most modern Aldi around. Customer service is poor, but that's just Aldi in general not this store specifically.
Good Aldi, but the entrance is difficult- need to use a lift or stairs from the parking. Also it is hidden behind 3 shopping centers.
Good Aldi usually doesn't run out of stock. If you go there at the right time there are fewer customers otherwise it's usually busy.
A new store, little bit annoying being double storey with underground carpark, you have to either use the ramp or the lift.
good litle ALDI store, normally has enough special buys in stock so you don't have to be the first person through the door
Great selection of goods. Great specials and value for money. Wide aisle for easy access. Very clean. Staff freindly
It's a good shop Nicely updated - not as clinical anymore a much warmer decor. Good stock levels too …
This was a different Aldi to the one I usually go to. The entry was on the right not the left. Blew my mind!
Nice place to shop, but they only have very few special buys items, causing disappointment for many people
Generally they seemed to jave well stocked shelves. Although theyw ere out of the one product my kids eat.
So neat and tidy all shelves were stocked it really is one of the best presented Aldi Stores I've been to
Certainly better value than the other supermarkets, and check-outs with *human beings* there to assist.
Brilliant product and special items ranges and all at terrific prices. Heaps of parking and easy access
massive car parks, super friendly staff. cheap prices! What else you need to find about a supermarket!?
Great quality produce and friendly staff. Seems to be better stocked than other aldi stores too …
A little busy, but was still good to get the shopping done. Didn't wait long through service counter.
What has happened to the DECAF coffee ?? Can’t get it anywhere from any store in this area now ?
We got everything we wanted 2 items cheaper than we realised, other prices good service very good
Same as other Aldinga stores. Some undercover parking. Slightly tucked away from the main shops.
Has a lot of different products and great prices. There's ample parking and never a problem.
Walked in thinking it was Audi but walked out with a smile on my face and a bunch of cashews
Big range of products, good service and store layout. Always plenty of special buys offers.
Pretty good shop...usually has everything it has advertised. Big store. Plenty of parking.
Wide aisles with everything that I needed. The meat, vegetables and fruit were very fresh.
Very busy and a few things empty. But good service and opened new checkouts as required.
Easy to shop as very few people there, but lots of items unavailable, many empty shelves
Staff are very friendly and even though I work for a competitor I'll still shop at aldi
Great service. Absolutely ages by foot from anywhere else on a hot day like today.
Quick and easy, stock still a bit slow to show up. But plenty of products for sale
The prices and quality is always good Good size car park Desabilty access Elevator
Everything i wanted and mo great good stock good price staff friendly and helpful
Limited range of stock. I wanted sugar free soft drinks but it was Coke or Coke.
Very good service. The shop is clean and the workers are polite. Well organized.
Choice Aldi, although paper towels and toilet paper seem hit or miss to get here
Great supermarket, easy to get a park, well laid out and great value every week
Always great deals and value for money, literally 40% cheaper than the others.
Easy place to stop and shop. Good access and parking. Generally pretty quiet.
People are losing their tiny minds over this virus, so much panic buying. Lol
my fav Aldi tucked behind Cannon Hill arcade easy for quick dash in and out.
It's an ALDI so... random products, no baskets and no self checkouts …
Cheap and ok product. Just doesn't have variety like other grocery store s
Always great shopping at Aldi. Still cheaper than the other supermarkets.
Great shop. Love the special buys. School is back so today was not busy.
Well stocked and reasonably sized. Produce is fresh and staff pleasant.
Fresh meat and poultry stock issues but otherwise a good experience.
Store clean & well-stocked, staff polite and pleasant to deal with.
Specials were okay, easy to manoeuvre in store, staff were helpful
I don't shop at aldi that much, but some of the specials are great
Do 85% of my shopping here! Lots of parking and pleasant service!
Went to buy meat specials. No social distancing due tight aisles
Good pricing. Friendly staff. Not crowded like big supermarkets
Easy access, moderate price, easy to find the products you want
Best Aldi I’ve ever been in. Well stocked and nice atmosphere.
Great Aldi but the lift is always broken down for some reason.
Typical Aldi, sharp prices, fast service, can't get everything
This awesome lady let me jump the queue. Thank you stranger.
I just love shopping at ALDI. And love my new winter jacket
A bit different to your average supermarket. Some bargains.
Just don’t go on a Sunday as most of the shelves are empty.
I like this store. It's clean, tidy & the staff are nice
Great staff, great products and nicely organised store.
Fine good selection Fresh fruit Pleasant checkout guy!
Easy parking and access. Range of goods. Good prices.
