Walked into the store with my 7 year old's bike, and we had to walk it in as the chain had come off and gotten itself stuck under and behind the rear gears/cassette, so the rear wheel wasn't moving at all without doing further damage to the derailleur. I was then directed to take the bike straight down to the service area and hand it over, straight up on the stand and one of the service tech's got straight on to fixing the problem, to which he said that master 7 had done a 'good job' in getting it stuck, to which my 7 year old was quite happy he had done a 'good job'. I will teach him how sarcasm works later! We had a laugh about that, then the tools came out, wheel came off, and about 10 minutes later, the chain was back, the rear derailleur straightened and adjusted, and the tyres pumped up, all in great working condition again. Also got a bit of advice on what to look out for as the derailleur had been bent out of place so as to prevent this again. I was expecting to have to book the bike in, but no, straight up for a quick repair. I was then expecting to pay for the service, but no, free service/repair with a thumbs up, a bit of a laugh and a joke. Great customer service, and you made my 7 year old happy that he can now take his bike to 'bike day' at OHSC whilst he is on holidays. Thank you guys, we will be back.

This IS my go-to local bike shop. With a huge in-store range of, well, pretty much everything and access to a national supply chain I know I can get exactly what I need when I need it. Open 7 days a week is a great bonus too! No more missing a Sunday ride if you ran out of CO2 cartridges on Saturday's ride. The workshop is larger than many apartments so the team of qualified mechanics --led incomparably by Daryl-- can fit in emergencies no matter how busy they are. I seriously only take my bike to 99 Bikes for maintenance. When I'm bombing down a gravel road I do not have to worry about the bike since I know everything is spot on with it and that Daryl has cast his knowing eye over every square centimetre of my gravel bike --a 2020 Norco Search purchased at of course 99 Bikes. Any bike you need can be bought at 99 Bikes. Cruisers, kids, scooters, eBike (road, mtb, gravel), gravel, road, mtb, trainers, and probably some I never knew existed are all in store and in stock. A friendly, pleasant, and very knowledgeable sales staff will help you with whatever you need. Whether it's a pair of gloves, tyre sealant, smart-trainers, or ANYTHING, just tell Joe that Dave sent you! If they ever decide to hire a barista and serve donuts then I'd give the place 6 out of 5 stars.

Took a bike there for a repair, no issue with price but when the job was completed, took the bike home and another issue arose. When I took it back I they made it clear it was a pre existing issue. That is fine, and if its an issue that needed to be fixed, let me know while you have the bike, because when we took it home my son rode less than 10 metres before the crank set broke. That sets a standard to the quality of work that they are happy to let leave the shop, but the arrogance of the staff when I was trying to find out why no communication during the initial repair left me in a position where I will never set foot back in that store. I had been looking at an ebike there, and told the staff that I am looking to spend further money, but you are not filling me with confidence, to which I was told its fine to buy your ebike elsewhere. Went to the ebike shop on brighton road, $3500 later and I have a great ebike. I know I am not going to make a dent in the daily turnover of 99 bikes, but I would just be wary of the lack of any follow up service

Bought my new Norco Scene 3 bike here last Friday. The range of bikes for sale was expansive. I was given friendly & professional assistance given by Chris with no hard sell or over technical information used. Chris asked what I was looking for & planned usage for a bike. At 67, I was looking for a practical & comfortable bike & said so. The Norco Scene 3 was the result. To my surprise, as soon as I sat on this machine, I felt 'at home'. It felt like this bike had been made for me... it still does. It was arranged for the bike and accessories to be checked/fitted for me to pick up next day (Saturday). My interactions with Chris and other staff members was welcoming and friendly with help when needed but, again, with no hard sell evident. I did also purchase the 99 Bikes Gold Club membership for $35. This saved me nearly $150 off the full price of the purchases I made. A very worthwhile and recommended purchase. Highly recommend 99 Bikes, Noarlunga for bike related purchases. Will be returning as needed.

Being very tall my only option was a mans bike. I'm cool with that however it has a mans seat which you need to take into consideration and have options to accomodate women as it's too uncomfortale to ride with. After visiting the store they offered me another 'mans' seat & told me it's all about riding positon, a bit of knowledge might go along way as women are made differently and you need a wider seat.You had nothing to offer and although friendly, the sales people told me to go on line to see what seats you do, only 4 options are available with very little information as to size and limited photos to see what it's like. The bell didn't fit the bar ontop and was located right at the bottom end of the bars. So that cost an extra $10 from a independant store. I shall be going there to get a new seat. Overall, very helpful when you buy the bike, not so helpful with aftermarket.

On this occasion I was helped greatly in store with info & correct mudguards fitted . I do believe you need to give more customer training to new staff . Especially to ensure they let you leave the store fully cognisant about how your purchase works & offering customers info on extra purchases available to enhance ones purchase . ( mine was an over $3000 e Bike ,that I had to bring back ,for correct extras & instructions 're use . This time the staff member was extremely helpful ,friendly & professional.) I think it's not fault of first sales person. Think it's poor training in extras that make all the difference to customer satisfaction . He was very friendly & welcoming .

I didn't know what I was looking for with ebikes; but Marcus walked me through the whole thing. He took the time to understand what kind of route I was commuting, and which bike would work best for me. He didn't try to upsell me some fancy machine that I didn't need, I gave him a general (low) price point, and he picked out the perfect bike for me. Often I buy online, but sometimes you really just need that professional advice. Thanks, Marcus. Big thanks to Mike @ 99Bikes Noarlunga! I purchased my Pedal Pursuit 2 two months ago and have cycled over 300 trouble free kilometers. Mike also assisted setting it up to do everything I needed from Dad duties of towing a 4 year old when he's too tired to pedal with a trail gator to commuting/groceries/fitness etc. I fitted the Topeak super tourist dx rack with trunkbag to suit, trunkbag has to be removed to have trail gator attached. If all stores had customer service like 99Bikes at Noarlunga the world would be a better place. I went in not knowing too much about what I was doing and found the service to be absolutely spot on. Helpful, knowledgeable, not in any rush. Just fantastic. Nick was great. He even went along with a little joke I was having with my two sons. Store manager has zero customer/people skills. Was sold wrong size bike a year earlier used it maybe twice and put it in storage due to renovations, the guy who sold it admitted his mistake and told me they would swap it and to bring it in, did so and then the manager stepped in to say they couldn’t ‘catch ya later’… treated like rubbish. There goes a family of 5 bikes purchases for life.

I bought a new bike from 99 Bikes, but was worried about long rides because I had no idea how to change a bike tyre. Went to their General Maintenance class. Was treated with great respect. All the guys explained and demonstrated everything in simple terms and no question was "too silly". Would recommend this session to anyone wanting to know the basics of bike maintenance.

Absolutely hopeless. Bought a bicycle online with stock in Melbourne. I have been waiting 3 weeks for it to get it to the SA Noarlunga store. Store is closed at 4pm on a Wednesday and trying to find out who is doing the pub crawl on my push bike from Melbourne to Adelaide. Hopeless customer service, wished I had bought locally. Certainly not run like Bunnings. Avoid them.

Always buy my road bike gear here and had great service, good price, and have much better stock levels than other competitors. Today went in to get a quote for a repair due to collision, quote from other competing stores took weeks to get organized. Awesome advice and support by Josiah who went above and beyond to ensure that I got the best bike to suit my riding style and needs. The correct size was confirmed after checking geometry and organising size fit with multiple similar bikes, bike ordered in and built promptly. Pick up was a breeze with great advice for suspension setup and extras required.

My husband and I had a great time while there. Friendly staff and helpful. Came in to see if my pushbike was worth repair or replacement. After considering our options we chose to buy a new pushbike. Walked in for a tube replacement without making an appointment beforehand and rolled out with a working bike 10 minutes later! Super friendly and helpful service, and the technician talked me through the tube change as he did it. The showroom is huge and has an impressive range of bikes including some electrics. Highly recommended.

Having to buy a couple of bikes from St Peter's branch, because they weren't stocked by Noarlunga, I then sought out my local Noarlunga branch for my spare parts and accessories needs. My limited dealings at this branch have been pretty average from a customer focus point of view, both from phone and instore perspective.

I highly recommend this place the staff are awesome really helped alot getting a bike for my sons birthday was there in the morning and assembled ready to pick up before he finished school. Even helped with getting in the car with cardboard to protect the seats they went above and beyond my expectations Thankyou.

Totally useless, my partner went in there to ask them a simple question and they had no idea what he was talking about. He then he went to the desk to ask if they sold a certain part, to which the reply was I don’t think so and they just turned their back on him and started serving someone else. Really rude.

Was ripped off brought a derailleur told them wat I needed replaced they sold me road 1 instead of mountain then wen I took bike into them coz obviously it didn't work on my bike they charged me again for another derailleur and time to fix something they coursed not happy will not be returning

What a shame on customer service. My family stood in store for over 15minutes and not a single hello or any help what so ever. We were all cashed up to buy a couple of bikes for Christmas presents but decided to go elsewhere since we weren't acknowledged at all.

Trying to place order for $350 of accessories, staff not really interested in taking details over phone and told to email them in. Sorry but not all elderly people like emails but prefer to speak in people in person. Very disappointed with there attitude

I had been getting a lot of flats and came into the store in a rush. Josiah helped me find exactly what I needed and even offered to quickly replace my old tyre all while offering some good advice. Definitely one of the best service I’ve had at 99Bikes.

Went for a look and ended up buying an electric bike for under $2000. That was a good price considering others were well over that. It was nice to actually test ride the bike. Other places don't have that. No pressure selling.good experience.

Excellent store, the staff are friendly and you can tell they really enjoy their job. They did take quite a while to put the bike through after we brought it and they check everything over so I recommend to have 20 minutes spare.

Clean, well presented store. I was a little disappointed no staff members came by to assist me (after standing in the same aisle for 5 minutes) as I was really unsure what’s I was looking for. Ending up having to ‘wing it’.

We bought a couple of Dahon folding bikes to fit in the back of our car. Marcus was very helpful and knowledgeable. The shop itself has an incredible number of bikes and accessories and well worth a visit.
