A perfect location for a day out!! I absolutely love going on walks by myself around the mangroves, and then going for a stroll down to the beach near by. There’s loads of parking, and a dog park too. I’m an early childhood educator and I take my children on excursions here, and it’s brilliant. No toilet facilities! More

Absolutely LOVE this walk! It’s on our favourites list as of today and we will definitely be back. We walked up to the bird hide from the boardwalk with a toddler and it wasn’t too much. We saw so many different birds, insects, crabs and native plants and flowers. It was quiet too, barely passed anyone.

Beautiful nature park with lots of birds, trees, mangroves, marsh and well maintained walkways. There are also facilities for dogs to run around. Spotted Ibis, tawny frog mouth owl, alligator gar, puffer fish, king fishers, herons, kookaburra and various other birds

A peaceful walk on an accessible pathway through mangroves. Several information boards along the way and I learned a lot about the importance of this environment to our life. Parking nearby. Amazing to have such a tranquil natural treasure so near a Brisbane suburb.

Beautiful boardwalk through the mangroves with your dog on leash. Great for a dog walk after they’ve released some energy in the nearby off leash dog park, and the path is very level and suitable for strollers too. Plenty of birdlife to see

The boardwalk showcases the beauty of the Mangrove coast. It was nice to get out away from the city to enjoy some nature and vegetation. Passed by a few runners, and they do park runs a little further south from here too. I enjoyed myself

Nice place for a short walk, highly accessible from the city. There are cycle paths and a separate pedestrian only boardwalk through an estuarine swamp. There are a few interpretative boards and a viewing point of the coastline. It wasn’t

This coastal walkway in eastern Brisbane is an amazing destination that allows you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Mangrove coast. As you stroll through the lush vegetation, you'll feel as though you're on an exhilarating jungle

Beautiful board walk that borders the mangroves and the beach. You wouldn't think it being mangroves, the walk over the thick mangroves is great and a very nice way to explore them without getting dirty. When you get to the outlook where

Great and popular circuit walk showcasing the mangrove environments of Morton Bay with plenty of informative signs along the way. The boardwalk is wide, well constructed out of recycled plastics, with seating and viewing areas along the

Nice safe walkway suitable for wheelchairs and electric mobility buggies. Variety of surfaces, wood walkway, asphalt and loose gravel. Pin your car location as further into the paths, the signs can be very confusing. More

Lovely place to see and experience the wonder that is mangroves, if you lick a leaf you might taste salt! However, they can be a bit smelly at low tide so i recommend bringing some gum or other lollie to save your nose.

Great nature walks. Good place to bring the family, and also the dog as there's a dog park nearby. In the middle of the walk is a lookout point that lets you look out to sea. Highly recommended for a weekend outing.

Pretty good place to destress and appreciate the nature. Bring mosquito repellent. Its pretty quiet couple of times when I visited there. Recommend the council to build a public toilet in the park or carpark.

Cant beat a board walk. This area has ample parking and has well signed and maintained walkways and paths. Dog exercise fenced area nearby. Great peaceful spot to look and listen to wildlife. More

Lovely place for a walk or ride. Just make sure you cover up or wear insect repellant. It's so peaceful watching the little crabs and fish over the sides of the boardwalk railings

  • Listershireene Remus

We liked it here there were many mosquitos and some weird people in cars but it was an Australians cultural experience and we might return with our kids and animals for a walk

  • Phil Chen

Well facilitate board walk. The view is beautiful and it's not so busy in Sunday afternoon. Suitable for family and kids. Large and small dog off leash area also available.

Took a lovely relaxing walk through the mangrove to the birdhide. Nature around the birdhide is magnificent! Very different to other bushwalks. Kids loved it too.

This is a beautiful and interesting place. But there is no drinking water, no toilets and a lot of midges. The use of repellent is mandatory. More
