Stunning views of the city line with a pleasant walkway at both the top or bottom of the cliffs, with stairs at either end of the cliffs for a circular walk. Great for sunrise or sunset, with plenty of picnic places or the local Joey's restaurant for dine-in or takeaway pizzas. There's quite a few climbers on the rocks, or people abseiling down the cliff edge, and parking is quite limited at the top of the cliff in designated spaces. Definitely a great spot for photography of the city skyline!

A very relaxing place in the evening. Nice to see the Brisbane River and the city landscapes. There is public toilets, bbq facilities. You can also take the steps to go down to the walking path at the bottom close to the river. There is one restaurant here towards to the right end when facing the river. I often take visitors to Brisbane and they all love it. Can be bit cold in the winter. Very nice cold wind during summer. There is parking on the road but it is often busy.

One of my favourite views in Brisbane. The view of the city is just spectacular and it's a nice spot for sunsets too. There are bbqs, tables, benches. Grass areas to picnic. Main issue is lack of shade. The sun sets on that side, so there isn't much shade in the afternoon.

Great spot for a picnic or BBQ. Not much shade in the afternoon though. Only a few tables available and all of them are in the sun.

A great spot for a walk when the weather is nice and it is wheelchair accessible with disabled bathrooms along the trail. The view across the river back to the city is nice to look at and worth a visit if you have time to kill and want to be active. There is a large rock wall where people practice their rock climbing which is fun to watch as well

This place is awesome because it is in the middle of the city and there is a river by the side. Peaceful place to walk in the evenings and mornings. There are so many activities you can do such as cliff climbing, barbeque, picnic and more. Sit near the river and enjoy the sunset is a must. Night city scape is amazing. …

Celebrated two of my friend's birthday parties there. Such a vibrant place cause of the story Bridge in the background, not a bustling place. Pleasant place to be with your family, friends or your loved ones. People walk their dogs, go for a run or just jod around there. Go there every once in a while.

Great lookout spot of the Brisbane city. We came in April during a cloudy day and this is what we saw. It was a public holiday as well due to Anzac Day and many people are here to hangout with their friends etc. If you have some free time in Brisbane, it's worth checking this place out!

Kangaroo Point Cliffs stand as an iconic natural wonder in the heart of Brisbane. These towering cliffs of distinctive red volcanic rock not only provide a unique geological spectacle but also offer a multitude of activities and breathtaking views that cater to both locals and visitors.

Do the walk along the river; arguably the best views of Brisbane city. Also a great place for a picnic, especially at sunset. Can get very busy in the mornings and afternoon. Parking is limited so best to catch public transport. Visit early-mid Spring to marvel at the Jacaranda blooms.

Picture says it all. My personal favourite place to go at late night. The quietness combined with sounds of the water is therapy. Take your loved one here. Grab a coffee or hot chocolate on the way and enjoy the environment that this place offers at night.

Fantastic view to spend a date with your love one. Precious scenery and view during sunset. Having picnic here 6 months ago was interesting and we had so much fun! I really value the time we had here, Amazing and so beautiful always wanted to visit here and just relax for a bit.

Southern inner suburbs near to city. Good place for city view, historic cottages and story bridge. The Kangaro point cliff park, Japanese tapas, rooftop and clifftop bars, a microbrewery, French bakery, riverfront cafe are main attractions. A must visit place near city.

  • Erin

My favourite vantage point to take in the city. Great walking tracks either above or at the base of the cliffs, lovely picnic areas, perfect for sunset, sunrise, and viewing the city skyline at night. Note it is a steep climb via stairs/ramps to get up/down the cliffs.

  • Diana Waines

Great vantage point overlooking the Brisbane river. The Bougainville shrubs planted around the point and that path had really beautiful flowers of varying colours. Great place for a visit and a walk along the path.

  • Angie Lee

Beautiful cliff, saw people rock climbing at the cliff. Need to climb a long flight of stairs to the bottom to get a clearer view of the area, else just stay on top near the roads to see it.

  • Maina005

Amazing place to see the sunset with a great view over Brisbane. Lots of picnic tables with BBQ grill stations. Bought a take away pizza at Joey’s and ate it in front of the sunset. Magical

The park is a decent size and has a trendy exciting metro vibe. It has big old trees grass and historical things of interest around it as well as a play ground for kids.

  • Matt Aherne (Matteblack22)

A lovely spot where Nature and the City meet. Beautiful at Sunset for a picnic, exercise or walk. Hire kayaks, climb the rock face or dine at Joey's. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful! Many vibrant flowers and right by the water which provides for a very lovely walk or if you want to just sit on a bench and enjoy the fresh air.
