Ralph refused to cash my check(s) at this location. Wasn't asking Ralph to cash a 40k check or anything. Ralph offered to "negotiate a cashiers check" for me. Essentially, I give you (bank) a check for another check? He stood there, with my WellsFargo checks in his hand, stared at me and said "Do you want to cash these checks?" " Yes, Ralph." I mentioned that twice now. As a Wells Fargo account holder you are given second class service for wanting to cash a check! Ralph only knows how to make problems not solve them. Not sure why he works here when he clearly doesn't have the know-how, to help, be of service or find solutions. Ralph is used to saying "We can't, we don't, were not able... " so that people leave, stop bothering him, or just do as he says. These all signs of someone with low status and poor customer service.

I went in to the Kearny Mesa branch, in San Diego, to cash my payroll check, drawn on a Wells Fargo account, I told the teller to cash the check and deposit part of the funds into my account. She completely disregarded what I'd asked her to do and deposited the check and gave me less cash back from it. What this did is lock up the funds deposited for 4 days, as it was a holiday weekend. She is probably trained to do it that way as it will show more assets daily in the company accounting. When I called the branch and asked for help to release the funds they said, and I quote: "we are not willing to release the funds." Not that they couldn't, but we're not willing! Boo, Wells Fargo!

Banker Cely has been most helpful with addressing merchant services issue I have yet to be able to resolve at many other locations and also over the phone with multiple different people. She went out of her way to attempt to draw a closure to my issue. For all the run arounds I have received I am very appreciative of her assistance. And I didn’t even come in to address this issue! You can’t train people to go above and beyond, it’s just who they are and Cely has made such a big difference in my experience banking with WF. Thank you!!!! I am writing this sitting at her desk, while she is on the phone helping me. Was very moved by her immediate action!

1st off you remove most of your ATMs from some pretty convenient locations. Now I have to drive farther to get this one. Only one of your ATMs was working here. I came at night and there is no light here, no light on the keypad or lighting in the area in general. Could barely see what buttons I was pushing. Not to mention unsafe not to have a well lit area. Might as well had your ATMs in a dark alley. The other thing was your machine couldn't properly count my cash deposit, even though it was crisp new bills I was putting in. I feel like post COVID USA has made everything third world conditions. You'd probably have better luck in Mexico.

Went to this wells Fargo to endorse a check for my insurance company. Had 3 personal bankers tell me it could not be done I had to go to the dealers services. All I heard from them is I can't we can't. Seems like there favorite word is can't. Finally Jason came along Jason is good at his job great customer service he actually took the time to call the dealer services for me and turns out they could endorse it because it was less then a grand. Jason actually helped me unlike the rest of the staff who greater me with a cheerful "we can't".

This branch never disappoint!! Everytime I go here, they never can help!! I had an appointment at 3 and was there on time but the banker was not ready because he decided to count the 1$ bills that the girl brought in insteadof letting the tellers to do their job!! I waited till 3:25 and left the branch. It's very rude to not respect other people's time while it's been scheduled from a while ago. This banker knew he had an appointment at 3 but still chose to do a side quest!! Wont do business with people who don't respect you!!!

Service was great until today. Went in, like I do every 7th and 22nd for check cash service. Same 2 forms of identification used for the past year and half. Went in today and was told 1 of my forms of ID is not accepted. Advised that I've been using this form of id, AAA membership card, for the past year and a half twice a month. Was told that it is not accepted. Extremely inconvenienced by this. Went to Wells Fargo in La Mesa and was helped without any questions. I will no longer do business at this location.

I have been with Wells Fargo for 25 years and today I am asking myself why. I went into this branch to get a temporary ATM card replacement. It was 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and after that I sat for another 20 minutes while people who came in after me were helped. After 40 minutes, I left the bank without my replacement card or anyone saying another word to me. I get better service walking into a Walmart or a Subway for a $5 sub.

SMALL BUSINESS CUSTOMER: Horrible Experience Not understanding. They participate in unfair and unethical business practices. The Branch Manager "Josh Barker" was not helpful at all. Bad Human overall, not caring or sympathetic. Should NOT be in leadership or Retail. Also, They DO NOT honor their Online Policies. I had a personal and business account with WF. And canceled both because of my experience with Josh NOT RECCOMENDED

Terrible service, brought my elderly mother in who has banked with wells for 60 years , to do a large withdrawal. Asked if we could sit at a desk . The dark haired younger woman made us go to the teller than had several people at her desk. Not only that they refused to give her her money! Thought it was a scam. She can barely get out of house and they treated her like cattle. Never seen anything like it.

Cely Saludo was amazing in helping me open my new retirement account. It was very confusing as there was a lot paperwork and many phone calls involved. She was very knowledgeable and patient with me. I'm so glad Wells Fargo has someone with her professional skills. You will not be disappointed if you seek her out for assistance. Thank you so much Cely! VICTORIA V

Well they should hire more tellers and not have their customers wait in line forever banks are making money and the least they could provide to the client is customer service and the shorter waiting time cut the greed hire more people and save your client before taking tgeir business elsewhere!!!! 7/17/17 2:53 pm two tellers only and a long line!

  • Don Yanagi

Went in yesterday to open a new checking account. Was told to wait 20 minutes for assistance. I waited 40 and left. Went in today at 1pm and was told no one could help me today. I'm concerned with all the one star reviews. I've been with B of A for over 50 years with rarely accustomed service issue. Maybe Wells Fargo isn't for me?

Don’t go to this location for any needs beyond using the teller. We scheduled an appointment with the banker the night before. We showed up the next day to find that the banker called in sick. Nobody contacted us. They also wouldn’t help us find bankers at other locations that may have availability.

  • Janis La Freniere

I’ve been with Wells Fargo for over 30 years. I wouldn’t still be here if they weren’t good at what they do. I have dealt with so much fraud - I could work for them. The customer service nine times out of ten is outstanding.

  • Kyle Closter

I had a bad experience trying to get a new debit card at another location. At this location I was helped by Roxana Nguyen and she handled several things for me so effectively and efficiently. Very good experience.

UPDATE for October 6, 2020. Met with account manager Jayna Kahler and she went above and beyond what I needed or expected to assist me with all details. Teller Omar was also very helpful and kind

  • Mehron Hashemi (Ron)

I have business account with Wells Fargo and my business is close to this branch. However I rather to drive to other branches than facing the rude managers and cold staff of this branch.

  • BJ Kean

Never enough tellers. The tellers also handle the transactions for businesses. There is always a line every time I visit. At least 2 people in line. The line does not move quickly.

  • Greg WR

Do not go here if you like money, they won't help you. Especially the younger assistant banker doesn't say a word and acts like you don't even exist. Terrible service!

  • Michael Austin

Management was very rude and unhelpful. Customer care is non-existent. DO NOT COME HERE!! There are better branches that are far more helpful.

  • Greg Griswold
