I am only giving one star because I have to do at least that just to be able to post my comments. If I had it my way, there would be ZERO stars. Horrible experience and would never entrust them again. I had to take a PCR Covid 19 test in order to travel to Canada to attend my father in law's funeral. I scheduled the test and expected that my results would be in by the time I had flown from Phoenix to Detroit and then had to cross the border. My husband's results arrived in time (different Walgreen's, same testing date). My results did not arrive in time. In fact, when I checked status of my test, it said that the specimen was not received. The funeral was on a Friday. I tested on a Wednesday morning. Still, even by Sunday, the lab was saying the same (specimen not received) and I called the pharmacy to not only express my frustration and extreme sadness (after all, I had to miss my father in law's funeral!) but to alert them that this was a huge problem for other customers and they had better get a handle on it. The person I spoke with assured me that they would get this info to the manager and that they would investigate further AND call me back. It's now the following Friday and I still have not heard one word from them. The customer service that I received was horrible, and the concern they showed was non existent. Terrible. Shameful.
The summer 23' zombie apocalypse is HERE! Literally, at this location. They have outsourced their security to a pole mounted camera that watches the zombies breaking into cars. This Walgreens absolutely sucks! 35 minutes in the drive-thru and still waiting. 15 minutes one car was sitting at the window. I would go in and wait in the lion inside, but I have COVID. If they would pay pharmacy techs a living wage, they might be able to attract more employees. To top it off , the other non-prescription meds my doctor told me to pick up, that order was placed 6 hours ago, and still not ready yet. *edit* an hour later (7 hours after placing it), the phone order was ready. Can't p/u from the drive thru, they won't bring it out, so i have to go in because it is medicine. The security guard and 4 employees were all at the windows making fun of a homeless man who bought a bunch of ice cream. No wonder it took 7 hours to pick 2 things off of the shelf. No, ONE thing, the other item was cancelled because they don't have Nyquil in stock (really??). The drive thru now also had 2x as many cars in it, backed up to Central Ave. BTW, the homeless man walked over to the light rail and was handing out ice cream to the other homeless people (it's 100 degrees out right now).
This store is horrible. They have nothing in stock. No price points. An overly abundance of shipment from but nothing we need from last season. Same day orders are NOT of importance. No one smiles or greets you. I would love to open a credit card with the company but every time in there no one offers. They have a help wanted sign but not for helping us during the day. It says they are seeking help for night staff only. I HAVE SEEN MANY SHOPLIFTERS WALK IN AND TAKE WHAT THEY WANT AND LEAVE. I asked why do they allow them to take what they want and leave. They said its againt store policy to pursue shoplifters. "Because they dont care. We have to chase down an employee to open the locks to get what we want. I asked why the store is so un organized. They all said "the store manager from 3 yrs ago didnt care how it looked." Ok, that was 3 yrs ago... No one has tried to fix it??? With the employees not happy because they are short staffed all the time, to dealing with shoplifters, not having anything in stock, attitude when asked about product and the absence of authority is not looking good. Looks like if you need to steal items... this company don't care. Horrible. I was told this all by an associate that works for this store. Its sad.
They were an acceptable pharmacy up until I dared to switch to home delivery, due to the global pandemic, about two years ago. First they confused me by offering to mail my prescription to me, and we did that twice, after they first said I didn't qualify for it. Then they suddenly said they couldn't do it anymore. Frustratingly inconsistent answers and processes all around. Then when I asked them to just send my existing prescription to Express Scripts, because they asked them to, Walgreens refused and said verbatim "They're taking our customer, so why should we help them?" You're helping me, the patient. According to the Googlester, your parent company made $139.5 billion in revenue in 2020. Like, the COMPANY did, not the possibly-underpaid individual working the phones that day, that felt it appropriate to defend an international multi-billion-dollar company's profits before my well being. This world we live in is wild, and I now continue with home delivery because humans are disappointing.
I was surprised to find the make up section completely wiped out from theft. They advertised a sale and had no products. It's a dam shame that everyone is affected from lowlife, selfish, thieves that have no respect for hard working store owners and shoppers trying to save a buck. These thieves cause their very own communities to do without and pay higher prices. Then will beg for your hard earned dollar in front of the store they just stole from. As for you store owners, I know there's not much you can do these days, but if your looking for your merchandise, you can find it at any car wash cheap. I don't buy stolen stuff. I encourage we all stick up and turn these thieves away when they approach with a hot deal. Laundry soap half off etc. It's just wrong. If that's all I can do to protect these merchants, I'm all in. United we stand, divided we fall. Support each other.
I have been in this store many times and never have trouble buying anything from anyone except for when the night time clerk who works there wants to card everyone in my party. Which is just my wife. She's doesn't tore a purse therefore never her ID. I was told tonight if I had a 3 year old then technically. He would card her well. REALLY? A 3 year old? The night manager was called and she confirmed that everyone in the party had to be carded for someone to buy cigarettes. Is this the law? Because if it is, them every store in Phoenix that I've bought cigarettes from is breaking the law, which I can not believe. I'm considering filling charges against them. I know they sell to people without carding everyone. My whole crew buys cigarettes from there, without issue. So I'm thinking discrimination...
Since I've moved to this area I've always came into this walgreens everyone seems really nice that has helped me. I recently filled a prescription with the farmacy (first time) and the lady that helped me was very very rude. When she scanned my prescription it showed up on the little note pad my old number I stated to her oh this is my old number she then responded very rude you can either put the last 4 digits of your number or you hit dont know. I was such in shock I didnt know how to even respond. So I put my old number in and continued to pay for my medication. She got my recipet put it on top of my bag of medicine and slid it to me. She didnt ask if I wanted a bag or to have a nice evening nothing. This honestly will the last time I fill my medication or even come into to this store!!
This pharmacy has been an absolute lifesaver! Considering how many people they take care of, they are overworked all day, every day, and yet, their workers have always been incredibly considerate. One of my prescriptions had a typo on it from my doctor's office and the pharmacist was nice enough to not only give partials, but he also made sure that they had it ready in 30 minutes (at most). If I didn't get my medication until Monday, it would have been a rough weekend. Truly appreciate all of the hard work they do. For all the people saying they take too long, this Walgreens services an insane amount of people and they are doing the best that they can, often times, while understaffed. Please, let's give them the respect they deserve and be patient.
If you want to experience what he’ll actually feels like, come to this pharmacy. The customers are literally insane, I once saw a woman shaving her legs in the waiting area, and then two high girls trying to fight the pharmacist. The pharmacy itself is sometimes ok, however if they tell you to come inside and wait, do yourself a favor and don’t. They will tell you ten minutes, what they mean is one-hour, and they will not care at all. This place is literally insane, and good luck trying to call them on the phone to get your prescription transferred. They just won’t answer. I understand they are overwhelmed, but my recommendation is to just go ANYWHERE but here.
I've been using this Walgreens for 16 years, and I've always found their staff and service to be great. However, I'll never use "auto refill" again. My husband used it and it was pretty buggy. Their email would notify him that his scripts were due and ready to pick up. He'd go to the pharmacy and they'd have the meds ready, but it was nowhere near due to be refilled. The insurance company would always decline it because it was way too early to refill. This isn't the fault of the store staff; Walgreens just has an auto-refill system that doesn't work. I haven't used their clinic, so I have no opinion about that.
Usually pretty happy with the service here but today I was a bit upset. I was picking up a prescription in the drive thru. There are two lanes! Four cars were in the lane next to the building and none in the right lane. I chose not to be like cattle and sit behind all the other cars. I chose the open lane. The lady at the window took all four cars before me. I understand that she was doing the first in first out method but if that is how they conduct business, close the other lane! Can you imagine being at the grocery store and 4-5 lines are open but the first in first out rule applies?
I was trying to reach the pharmacy in regards to a prescription. I was on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes. No one ever picked up. At the beginning of the call the machine told me there were 3 callers ahead of me. Towards the end of my call I was the last one I still waited another 20 mins no one answered. Honestly I think everyone ahead of me just hung up and that’s how I got even close to being the next call. And still they didn’t pick up. It was a ridiculously long hold time for only 3 callers ahead of me. No one was going to pick up my call I had to hang up the phone.
Hope this store gets bought out by developers. (Possibly could happen in near future) The Rent a Cop doesn’t do anything, he leans on the counter, and talks on his phone. Homeless people walk in acting crazy along with people high off of drugs. I feel bad for all the employees in the front as they have to deal with sometimes irrational people or people that are not all there (mentally unstable). Hope they hire a Officer from the Phoenix Police Department, they are way more capable of keeping their employees safer.
I'm giving this Walgreen's 5 stars, b/c not only is it in the perfect location to where I reside, the pharmacy staff never makes me feel like I'm bothering them when I call. These days things have become so impersonal & there's always a call center involved. I always get my refill reminders via email & text when they're needed. The store staff is pretty friendly, too. I do wish that they carried the Salsa Verde Tostitos like some of the locations, though. I have to go all the way out to Walmart for those.
Asked an employee if he can help me with something the employee said yes I can get that done right now, I walked towards the area I needed help with I noticed the employee continue to do what he was doing I waited for a few minutes to see if he had any intention to help I noticed he had none what so ever, I kinda figured he wasn't because of the way he responded to me with a I don't want to be here and work vibe. If you don't feel like helping customers just say no I can't help.
They have never had my Rx correct they are very slow. I have received notifications stating that my Rx are ready for pick up but when I get there not only are they are not ready but they don't even have that drug in the store and I'll have to wait two more days before they can get some this has happened to me more than once. I'm a amputee and getting around is difficult so going back and forth is a real pain in the neck. I'm now acvs
They say they're open until 10pm but I got there at 935 and they said they couldn't fill my script because there were too many in front of me. If you go to a bank before they close and they close while you are in line they don't tell you they can't serve you, they just don't let anymore people in after they close. This should be the same I drove out of my way because they were open until 10 blah blah blah. Go to CVS or Costco
(From a couple months ago) One of the worst experience with the walgreens clinic. We were 7 minutes late after nearly getting into an accident and experienced heavy traffic on the highway. I called the main number and they said the clinic was open until 5pm. When we got there, I begged the nurse to see my young child. She said she had already clocked out. (Which was early) I ended up calling into an online clinic.
Came to location to print out my photos from a flash drive. Stated that in 1.5h they will be ready. I wonder why it took so long when it was dead.. but well, I needed my photos so I was ready to come back.. Good that i called in prior to heading out to pick them up, cause they did not have my stuff ready, and in fact there was no data of my order. Not dealing with them any more. Go somewhere else!
I have given this Walgreens multiple times to correct mistakes. I am always getting old prescriptions refilled. I'm on hold for 5 minutes or more and then get disconnected. They give me medicine that is not in the prescription. It's the same thing because I just have to take multiples but they didn't even ask it's not the prescription I am changing pharmacies I'm done with Walgreens
Worst Walgreens pharmacy experience ever. Waited 20 minutes. Were told we were in the wrong lane after waiting 20 minutes. No solutions offered. 6 cars left as we were waiting in line. There needs to be a sign telling people they have to be in the first lane to get a COVID test. And then rudely offering no solutions and ignoring us. What a joke.
Six people in line every time I go in. They have signs for an Express Pickup but no one attends it and the lone cashier, bald Latino guy, (Edward maybe?), was rude and told me that Express Pickup doesn't work here and that I had to go to the end of the line. Save yourself a headache and go to another pharmacy that can run an efficient business.
I stopped at 8:15pm to get my sister's medicine, the worker said that it would be done at 9:15pm, I went back to pick it up, It still wasn't ready, Don't tell anyone that there medicine will be done, if not going to be, How would They like it if the shoe was on the other foot, it's not good to be sick,, they also very unfriendly …
I took a friend here to pick up her scripts a script that was in their system for days . Come time to pick them up and guess what the bald blind pharmacist has the worse ADD I have ever seen. We waited an extra hour after checking on with them when we were there to pick up. Very unprofessional shame on you guys for being so incompetent
I’m wearing thin gym shorts and a thin t shirt… I went in for snacks. Could not hide anything I was buying in my clothes.. because I was not trying to hide anything. First time I was stocked by the security guard, in a cosplay military uniform. I live near the store, often stop after work, work outs, or just to pick up snacks…
I rarely shop at this Walgreens but every time I do the store is extremely clean despite the many homeless that live behind the store. The employees are always friendly and the store seems to be well stocked. The ladies working on the night of December 7, 2020 were helpful, courteous and provided great customer service!
One star is too much! Rapid testing is not rapid!! I needed a rapid test for travel and trusted Walgreens to come through. They did not. My results were delayed or lost and I was forced to pay for another test from another provider in order to make my flight. Undependable, unprofessional, they left me in a bad spot!!
The light skinned Middle aged African American woman was beyond rude to me in the checkout line. Disgusting attitude, I know you work in a bad location but that doesn’t give you the right to treat normal civilians poorly. The woman in the pharmacy was pleasant, but she was from a different store. Do better Walgreens
This location consistently has bad service. Just recently they rang my gift cards for the wrong amount which meant I had to pay double the activation fees and buy more. They didn’t even say sorry. Service is important factor to where customers go...also constantly being accosted for change out front is unpleasant.
The pharmacy is baddd .. they give the run around .. that they haven't received the prescriptions from ur doctor I got several kids and is the pharmacy I have to recall the doctor or get the copies of here they were sent I don't know if is there system that's slow .. but it takes days s to get the medicine
Poor customer service when it wasnt necessary. Manager stated hed address the sales associate who pushed me and would not give me my money back after a return. Aka yes Pushed me. Lucky Im mature enough not to put hands on another human. I know my strengths and using it in that manner is pure weakness.
I have been getting my meds from discount for many years. They have never let me down. Unlike big chains, they really care about their clients and are always there for me. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ruby is the best pharmacist in the world. Thanks for always coming through for me.
horrible. If i could give this place 1 stars I would. my medication was transferred from this location without even me knowing and i couldn’t even be told who transferred it, it’s unbelievable how you can show up without proper ID and claim you are someone else, horrible service.
Terrible service! Ordered for same day delivery due to certain circumstances. The next thing I received is that the order is delayed. It’s over 5hours now! Tried calling & no one freaking answers the phone. Been on hold for over 2hrs now! This place should be closed down!
The only reason I give 3 stars is they only one lane open in pharmacy drive thru and the wait is always very long. I realize they are probably doing the best they can, but corp needs to figure out how to fix it. There are homeless ppl hanging around asking for money too.
Irresponsible, frustrating, dumbs ever seen I have been following up for a prescription transfer for nearly a month. If you people are not fit to support, pls feel shame and quit business, we have others.... Don't ever play with people's life like this...idiots
This is legit a SUPER Walgreens! They have such a wide variety of stuff and they are 24/7. It’s really conveniently placed off of a light rail stop. I love that they have a TON of snack options, last minute buys and loads of stuff for your kittens and doggos.
I went in early morning(1:30am) and the woman working the register was very very pleasant to deal with. Very nice and extremely cute. Wish all my store encounters were as pleasant. Thank you, whoever you are for making my bad morning into a great morning!
Walgreens is great. Pharmacy too, but not always right. Sometime they lose scripts on their computer. But they found it in an hour after I insisted they couldn't even know about the script they had mentioned if they didn't have that too. I was right. TU
NOT OPEN “AS ADVERTISED!” Their website, Google AND their massive SIGNS ON TIE BUILDING all say “open 24 hours.” Wasted my time AND created a health risk for my family. They have absolutely NO RESPECT for their customers. Boycott this business!
Tyler absolutely went above and beyond for me this evening at this Walgreens location. He was more willing to go above and beyond than any Walgreens employee that I have ever interacted with. I am a 20 year customer and I have interacted
I had a very challenging experience at this Walgreens, but it wasn’t anyone’s fault. They were extremely short staffed and were working their best to do their job. This is probably one of the busiest Walgreens I have ever been to. So why
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AND WALGREENS. STAFF ALWAYS MAKES SEVERE ERROS. NEVER OWN THERE MISTAKES. TAKE FOREVER TO FILL A MEDICATION. WILL ALWAYS BLAME YOU OR YOUR DR. RUDE STAFF LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND PEOPLE SKILLS. "GOING TO CVS".
More poor service. Order Symbicort 5 days ago before I ran out. Going in day 6 and still nothing. They said it would be there Monday and now they changed it to Wed. I am getting sick without the meds. Can’t wait to change pharmacies.
Came to get the COVID vaccine, waited forever for him to look up from his phone just for him to say get in line. I get in line and 5-6 minutes later I’m told you have to have an appointment. No one greets you when you enter or exit.
Do not expect to be greeted by Olivia.. Usually Walgreens employees are amazing at greeting customers but not Olivia. A white person walked in right after me and got a nice big HELLO WELCOME TO WALGREENS. Tuh! #blacklivesmarter
Building outside still says 24hrs Pharmacy. Google says Opens at 6am. Upon walking up to the door you will be informed by the sign posted in the window that the store opens at 8am and the Pharmacy opens at . . . 8 am.
This store is very nice and clean store.Everyone there are so nice to you. The employees welcome you to Walgreens. I love this Walgreens!!! The pharmacy employees are so quick to get your prescriptions ready for you.
I know they are understaffed but I waited on the phone today for over 30 minutes to try to get an answer as to why my prescription hasn’t been filled after three days. Then they hung up on me without ever picking up.
So tired of the horrible customer service at this location. And the super slow line. This morning I stood for 30 mins with one customer ahead in the line. Not acceptable
I have been on hold with the pharmacy for 47 minutes. I can hear someone pick up and then place me back on hold. I realize they may be busy, but this is ridiculous.
I have called 5 times, on hold for 20+ minutes each time, only to be hung up on every time. Just trying to confirm a prescription for a patient...
Well stocked with variety of products and helpful staff. Personalized service that adjusts to needs. Has photo and liquor sections.
Pharmacy service is a little slow. But good customer service. Get your flu shot and covid booster to protect yourself and others.
No one ever answers the phone here. You can call for days and no answer. Good luck if you need to speak with a pharmacist.
Don’t go to the Walgreens on central and Osborn. Felt like I was going to be robbed in the parking lot.
Darren was extremely helpful and I only had to wait an additional 10 minutes for all my prescriptions.
Walgreens always has the stock on hand you grow to expect. Their pharmacy is first rate.
Really busy for the holidays but definitely had great deals on gift items
Very clean and welcoming place.
