Great employees, terrible corporate policy. CVS is failing and closing many stores soon, and it’s long overdue. Although I like getting my prescriptions here, there’s been some issues. Number one. I take a medication in which numerous generics are available. One of these generics makes me physically ill, the dose seems to be inconsistent, and I just feel poisoned every time I take it. However, not only will CVS not tell me ahead of time if this one brand by Eli is in stock, if I am handed the bottle once it’s filled and look at it without even opening it, I am not allowed to return the medication. Which means I have to go one entire month on medicated under the law. so the first thing these pharmacies need to do is to not only mark down on the customers chart that they cannot take a certain generic but advise them that that particular generic is what’s available that month. It’s infuriating, all these pharmacies just say that they take whatever generic medication is cheapest at the time they order, and they just take whatever it is without regard to patient issues with the medication. And under the law that leaves you with no medication if you can’t take that generic, and you have to pay for it by the way too. So you’re healthcare provider won’t pay for another one that you can take, the law will not allow another one to be dispensed for a month, and you’re just screwed. So aside from that issue, CVS is understaffed and they’re using their cashiers as stock people. So they’re squeezing these employees who have to run from wherever they are stocking or doing other tasks to get to the counter to meet a customer, especially at night. And a lot of these people are elderly and of course they’re probably not allowed to sit down at all during the shift, and if they do they’re caught in security camera and fired. So I just think that CVS deserves to die. Good riddance to them, I have heard that they are losing hundreds of stores every year or two from now on and they deserve to go out of business because of corporate policy, the way they treat their employees, the fact that there never stopped uncommon items anymore, and they’re very bloated on their prices. A pair of tweezers I can get for two or three dollars at Walmart cost $12-$15 at CVS. I’m really sick of it.
The pharmacist at this store was quite possibly the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered. Despite it being ~7:30 am on a Friday (01/22/21), with no other visible customers in the store, no one greeted me at the counter, even though the pharmacist was standing almost directly in front of me. I stood waiting for quite awhile for the pharmacy technician to come over. I had just purchased some OTC medication and it came in one of those tamper-proof packages, so I requested assistance opening the package. The pharmacist suddenly decided that she could speak to me and demanded to see my receipt. The pharmacy technician was helpful, but the horrible attitude and rudeness of the pharmacist was incredibly off-putting and although I'd had questions about the medication, clearly this pharmacist is not going to be a dependable resource and I did not feel comfortable asking. I pick up all of my prescriptions through CVS near where I live in Ahwatukee Foothills. I've never had any pharmacy staff act in such a disrespectful, dismissive way. I'm not sure, but it seems like perhaps the neighborhood this particular CVS is in has left the pharmacist with the impression that she can act in this rude and uncouth manner towards pharmacy clients with zero accountability? I will definitely avoid ever going back to this CVS, as there is a Walgreens just down the McDowell on 7th St. and I will look into changing my prescriptions to Walgreens as well.
Don't bother using this location as a UPS Access Point. I've routed packages here on several locations and I'm starting to think it would be less of a hassle to just let the packages get stolen from my front porch. Employees don't know how to properly check packages in or out. My last experience was with a young lady (brown hair, curly bangs) who was insistent that my package wasn't there despite receiving an email that it was. She refused to go through the packages at first and would only scroll through a hand-held device that showed package arrivals. I asked her to please check the packages on the ground and she said aloud "oh my God!" and called a manager to the front. Once the manager arrived, the young lady looked at the manager and said "I told her that her package isn't here but she won't listen". The manager asked the young lady to look through the packages and she half-heartedly rifled through the pile stating, "I told you it's not here". The manager finally went to the packages and found it after a few seconds. I looked at the young lady and said "I knew it was here" to which she responded, "next time you need to give me your first name, not your last name". Do yourself a favor and just have your packages sent to the UPS store on McDowell by Safeway. They do it right.
I'm taking my business back to Walgreens. It may be becoming ubiquitous, but this CVS store's security policy has really just gone too far. I walked into CVS today to see a stack of perhaps a dozen backpacks. At CVS in the city, you are "required" to allow your private property such as backpacks (but not purses) to be seized temporarily while you shop. Of course, you can always choose not to shop there, as I am going to do. Ostensibly, this invasive policy is to prevent shoplifting. Of course, it would be very hard to steal items by putting them into a backpack on your back, but very easy to put items in your purse or pocket... so what's next CVS, body searches, bag searches? As a matter of fact, YES! As I was walking out of the store today, the manager was searching a young woman right in front of everyone. It turns out it was an employee... The district manager explained to me that CVS nationwide searches their employees. Repeat: CVS searches their own employees. I ask you - if CVS does not trust their employees, SHOULD I? Should I leave my bag with them? Should I give them my credit card number? No.
Went into this CVS went and grabbed a drink was checking out something to snack on when I was approached by their security telling me in a rude tone I cant have any personal bag/other store bag in there store and was TOLD they need to check it I felt offended and angry since I just got off work and purchased something from where I work and the funny thing is you can see through the bag you don't need to look in my bag actually do your job and notice that I walked right in front of you entering the store and was not approached then and never provided a solution to the issue such as we can hold your bag up front but no I was told you have to leave we do not allow bags in the store and to top it off I was told I will be thrown out of the store! that was RIDICULOUS!!! how do you tell anyone out right like that hey you cant have your bag in here you have to leave or i'll throw you out really!!! like to see you try but anyways never going in there again
Because of this pharmacy’s inability to timely refill or communicate about its inability to refill, I have been off my meds for two weeks. I now have to retitrate and it will be a full month before I am on my normal dose. This location’s ineptitude is beyond belief. They do not answer their phones. I tried to refill using the phone tree but never received a notification that the RX was filled. Then I tried going to another CVS location, but I was told my insurance wouldn’t authorize the refill because the original location had already filled it. So I went back to the original location only to be told I needed to come back because they hadn’t filled the prescription yet. This location is absolutely unreliable and it is deeply negligent and irresponsible. I will never go to this location ever again and am seriously debating never going to CVS in the future. Truly unacceptable and irresponsible.
This Pharmacy is consistently the slowest and worst service I have ever had. Scott the manager doesn’t really care and seems to think it is corporate’s problem for him being understaffed with only 3 workers. My doctor hung up after a 25 min wait and called back and left a message and of course they had not checked any of the messages and I waited 35 min in drive through to get my meds in 110 degree weather. I was on hold for over 30 min last time. I hope you don’t need your meds in a rush you will probably die before you get them. He told me to come inside but I guess he doesn’t realize that there is a Pandemic going on and some of us need ours meds because we are immune suppressed. They are constantly calling and harassing me to have me refill prescriptions that I do not need. They call and tell me my prescriptions are ready when they are not. Change now or this location will make you crazy.
CVS pharmacy on McDowell and Central. I had wondered why I had not my script filled that was sent to them 9/27/21 by my Doctor. Earlier last month their drive through was closed, I went inside to pick it up. Well I've been trying to call the pharmacy quite a few times since that was called in...never answer. So today I go there, at 12:30 and pharmacy was closed, there was an pharmacy assistant standing there, she said since 9am waiting for one to show up!!!!!! She said they are having pharmacists showing up when they can!!!! I asked about their filling response time, she said unfortunately unless people are coming in questioning that, that they're filling then....WHEN there is a pharmacist working.☹ Least to say I will not ever go there for a fill/refill. Anyone else have this problem? I'm hoping it's not all pharmacies being short pharmacists because I'm thinking of switching.
This is one of if not the worst cvs I have ever dealt with. The front store is usually disgusting and understaffed (but most Cvs’s are understaffed anymore), the employees are for the most part just unhelpful. The pharmacy is unreliable. A few times of a prescription being sent in but never filled. Today I questioned sending a prescription over and almost changed to the Walgreens at 7th street and McDowell, but did not, and am now regretting that decision. When my fiancé went to pick up our daughter’s prescription about 15 minutes after it was sent over (at 2:30) the pharmacy told her it would be ready at 5:30, so instead of waiting for it for 3 hours she asked that I stop after work and wouldn’t you know they closed up early and threw up a “this location is closed for the day” sign. No more CVS at central and McDowell for us, we are going to Walgreens from now on.
They NEVER answer their phone anymore. I cannot sign into my account online. "Technical Difficulty" comes up every single time. I often get told I have to pay for a prescription simply because no one ran both of my insurances. So I have to go pull money out, pay a fee, then get to the counter after a and as I mentioned to them my United Health Care and secondary insurance did indeed pay for my scripts. So, I lost money because a job isn't being done properly. This has been my pharmacy for almost a decade so I don't want to change pharmacies, but the system is NOT working so I don't know what else to do. Oh and they don't really close at 8pm, they close at 7:45pm sharp. I arrived at approx 7:40pm for life saving anti biotics and was turned away. Turns out my doctor hadn't called it in yet, but I was told even if he had I would not be helped. Very disappointing...
I became notified this afternoon that I was exposed to COVID. I immediately made an appt on cvs.com for 3:40pm at the 1525 N Central Ave Phoenix location and arrived for my appt at 3:40 to the drive-thru as I was instructed. I waited in line until 4:39pm and then it was my turn. At the window I told them I was there for testing and she said "Oh, the manager closed it at 4pm. Sorry" I was in line for AN HOUR with no communication that they were closing at 4, even though I was on time. It was unprofessional, inconsiderate and unsafe to the community to handle it that way. Could have texted, called, emailed or yelled from the parking lot that even if you were on time you were out of luck if you didn't make it to the window by 4. This manager needs to be reprimanded. You have lost my business and added to my stress.
I get my prescriptions filled here because it's the nearest one to where I live, and it has been nothing but a nightmare from the start. I call in my prescriptions a day before walking to go pick them up, and they never have them ready when I get there. I've always had to wait 40+ minutes for my meds to be ready. They never pick up the phone. The staff seem to be constantly overworked, I can tell they're doing their best but there is simply too much traffic and demand for them to handle. I wish I could take my business elsewhere, but this is the only location I am able to get to, and I have to get refills frequently. If you are able to go to another CVS location for your medication to be refilled, I suggest you do so, unless you like to wait for over half an hour while the poor overworked pharmacists struggle.
These guys are horribly understaffed. I feel for them, and I hope they find roles with companies that support them in their workplace some time soon. Am I going without pain medication immediately after surgery because the script wasn’t filled after an entire day? Yeah. Did I call them to try to pick it up, only to have them put me on hold AND THEN JUST CLOSE THE PHARMACY while I was still on hold? Absolutely. But I can’t believe they would just keep taking scrips that they know they can’t fill within a reasonable time (therefore causing pain and suffering to their clientele) on their own. Someone in leadership knows it’s happening (just read the other reviews) and they are just letting it happen to keep the money coming in. If you come here- it’s at your own risk at this point.
I've had consistently bad experiences with this pharmacy but today was the worst. I showed up at 6 pm to pick up a medication I am out of that I need to take daily and at the same time, and I arrived to see a handwritten sign that said "pharmacy closed at 5pm". The pharmacy is supposed to close at 7pm. I spoke to the manager about how early they would be open tomorrow and the response was "they should be open at 9 am but I don't even know if we will have a pharmacist so they might not be open". Excuse me, what? I start my shift at 8 am so it appears I will be unable to have access to my medication at all tomorrow and will probably be ill for the day. This is terrible management. I will be changing pharmacies. do not use this pharmacy.
I have never had such a consistently frustrating experience with a pharmacy. It is impossible to get in touch with them via phone — you will be on hold for more than 30 minutes, and probably will never get through at all. They make it impossible to transfer prescriptions to another CVS, though, because all prescriptions immediately get marked as "pending" so they cannot be transferred without the confirmation of this location. You will be stuck in a loop of being put on hold for hours. I understand that staffing is an issue for many places right now, but the Jefferson St. location has no issue answering their phone within 1 minute. This is the worst CVS location, and pharmacy altogether, that I have ever experienced.
This is the worst Pharmacy I've ever been to. A young lady was eating and drinking at the counter. I ignore that and ask for my spouses medicine that was put in at noon. At this time it's 5pm. She said it's not going to be ready until tomorrow. I asked to get it transferred to the location on Jefferson. They were even worse there. At Jefferson they were extremely rude stating for me just to leave at Mcdowell location because she won't be able to fill it for 7 days and it's like that everywhere. I proceeded to tell her Fry's is nowhere near this unprofessional. She rolled her eyes and just stared at me. Instead of apologizing and trying to make the situation better. Save yourself a headache and just go to Fry's.
Don’t get COVID testing here. Despite arriving on time for our scheduled slot, we were not tested for an hour and a half later - there were only 2 cars ahead of us, meaning it took 45 mins/test. This is absurd for a simple, 30-second nasal swab. I’ve been tested at other centers and it took a max of 10 mins. I don’t want to blame the CVS worker, but when it was finally time for us to get tested, she took our insurance info and license and re-entered all of the info that we had already provided when registering. I think it’s a flawed system that wasted significant time and was not considerate of our schedule that day. I’m seriously disappointed by CVS.
I looked up the "CVS pharmacy hours" before I went out to dinner and thought I could pick up my prescriptions after dinner as the hours on Sunday are 8 AM to 8PM. When I got there just after 6 it was closed. I now need to go back in the morning. I talked with the manager, he said that the pharmacy itself closes at 6, but that the store open until 8. He says I mis-read the hours. I told him I googled "CVS pharmacy hours", and that is what I got. If the pharmacy itself closed at 6, that should be listed under hours of operation as well. Luckily, the scripts were not crucial, but suppose it was something I could not skip?
The pharmacy is constantly understaffed so it is an extreme pain getting my medication. They often close early, the drive through window is almost perpetually closed, and it’s very difficult to get ahold of them. The front desk can’t help with anything pharmacy related and they’re not really sensitive to medical issues (that’s not their job) so you’re pretty much screwed if you don’t catch the pharmacy on a good day. My issues aren’t that bad so missing a week isn’t going to kill me, but not everyone is so lucky. I hope they do something to improve the pharmacy because people’s lives and well-being are in the balance.
Just called and was on hold for 25 minutes only for the pharmacist rep to talk rudely with a major attitude and not help me and to put me back on hold after I said no I cannot hold any longer it's my turn and she did it anyways in the middle of me speaking. She cut me off from explaining my situation. The rudest pharmacy tech and not helpful one bit. She actually made my situation worse than it already was. I needed my medication and she refused to help me. This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with and all the others were perfect. She should not be in this business. She doesn't care about people. -1 stars
This is the most inept pharmacy I have every used in my life. I stopped using them because none of my prescriptions were filled when I went to the store to pick them up after submitting them online days in advance. I was told that they are too busy to do that. Today I went for a flu shot and they could not figure out how to issue that with their system. I had an appointment that was made a week ago. I was on time for my appointment I had to wait in line for 42 minutes. They told me to come back tomorrow and maybe someone would have it figured out by then. It is so badly run as to be a joke.
Absolutely horrible no public restroom, I get that it’s probably a policy but still I was going to buy a few things after I pissed but I’ll go elsewhere. I’m in retail and wouldn’t let certain people use my bathroom, retrain your employees and change your policy so normal people don’t have to waste 5 minutes making u turns just to be told sorry can’t help you. Use common sense some people drive for a living or outside sales reps and may need a restroom I spend a lot at cvs and Walgreens but mostly like cvs until this happens way to much in the city of pheonix
Horrible employees especially Tony stay away from him I went to the coin star to exchange my change for bills and he couldn’t cash out a $17 dollar ticket and started making excuses then said I can go to another cvs and cash it knowing that you can only cash it at the star you exchanged from yet he still tells me to go somewhere thus wasting my time and gas ultimately I just waited for Tony to get off shift so I can ask a different employee to cash in a $17.84 coin star ticket honestly disgusting went home and threw up just stay away from this place please
I have lived across the U.S./used many different pharmacies and I am also a physician so I know how pharmacies SHOULD work. I can honestly say this is the most dysfunctional pharmacy I have ever encountered. You will wait on the line to speak to someone for 30 minutes (on average) and upwards of an hour. I have had medications I have been on for close to 10 years just not get filled because of short supply and then have no one communicate with me about that. I have since transferred to a different CVS and have not run into the same issues.
Don’t come here if you need important meds filled on time!! And don’t bother calling, the wait, if they answer at all, is ridiculous. I needed medication last night because I’m sick. I went to pick up it before closing and they were already closed! The medication needed to be re-faxed because the provider gave up after waiting on the phone for an hour to give a verbal order to them! Worse pharmacy ever. I’m going to transfer my meds to another CVS it’s worth the drive to have someone answer the phone and fill my prescriptions.
The people that work here are working under unsafe conditions. There needs to be a security person manning the front door. It's that simple! And I mean a BIG person at the front at all times. I just witnessed another shoplifter run past me and my 7 year old. The owners are allowing this and this isn't a good look for the neighborhood. Take some pride in your downtown PHX location (right next to the library)! You can't expect your employees to take on mentally unstable people, drug addicts and violent criminals. Do better!!!
My experience. Called in prescription refill. Went in the next day. Still wasn’t ready as promised. Told it would take an hour and they would call when it was filled since I didn’t want to wait. Waited 90 minutes. Called and and after 15 minute wait on the phone was told it was ready. No answer why they didn’t call as promised. Walgreens may be a better bet next time. Second review. I challenge anybody to get through to the pharmacy by phone. Trying to get moved over to Walgreens. Not great but nearly as bad as CVS.
The pharmacist on staff is not someone who should be trusted in this position. I’m 100% sure that communication is an important part of prescribing medication. I could not understand what he was saying regarding my medication as his Middle East accent is very thick. I asked for clarification or to possibly speak to someone else and his response was to just refuse to fill my script? It’s a new world when a cvs employee gets to override my physician and insurance. I’ll be using Cosco moving forward. Never again CVS
Been a customer for quite some time It's very sad the pharmacy department isn't very punctual. every time I call a sit on hold for at least 15 to 20 minutes before one person even answers to say hello so when I go there in person I get excuses why they can't answer the phone. I'll been in customer service most of my life it's not hard to answer the phone then let the customer know you're very busy and will be with them when you can. Although they never even answer the phone
If I could give zero stars I would!!! This pharmacy is a mess! They never answer the phones, they are understaffed, they never fill a script that was sent in unless I call them and just now I went there to get my meds and the pharmacist actually told me that they “lost” my meds and I could wait while they went thru all the bins or I could come back. I’m livid!!! This med is vital for me to be able to function normally. How can a pharmacy lose your meds?!? Unbelievable.
The pharmacy staff is terrible. I’ve tried getting an Rx twice and both times came up short. First time, waited in line for 15-20 minutes just for them to say they’re done for the night and that they wouldn’t help me regardless of the fact they saw me waiting in line. Second time, there was a scheduling mix up and only a traveling pharmacist was there who couldn’t/ wouldn’t help me because he was thee only one there when it opened. It’s also filthy inside the store.
If you care about yourself/loved ones, don't get prescriptions filled here. Doctor wrote a prescription for vital medication at noon on Thursday. I showed up 6 hours later, it wasn't ready. They said to come back the next day and it would be ready at open. I came in 3 hours after open. It's closed. No information, no idea when they'll be back. If you look at the reviews, this isn't the first time. This isn't the technicians - THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ERROR.
I am astounded at how bad this pharmacy is. I rarely need to fill prescriptions but every single time I do, the order takes days - in one case more than a week - to be ready and no matter how many times I give them my cell number, I never get notified that there's a delay, nor do they ever let me know when it's ready. My company forces me to use CVS and I SO miss Walgreens. No matter which Walgreens I used, it was always good. CVS does not measure up.
Pharmacy needs to improve at answering the phone in a timely fashion! On most phone calls, I'm placed on hold for ridiculously long times (I'm at over 2 hours hold for the phone call I have on hold now) and not all desired tasks can be performed on customer web portal, which means I often need to visit the pharmacy twice per order - once to tell them I need the prescriptions (re)filled, and once more to pick them up. Tremendously inconvenient.
I agree with Tyler carr. I was with my sister and her boyfriend. They were getting a prescription filled so they were paying customers. My sister asked where the bathroom was. The lady said the restrooms were closed because of all thhe homeless that come in to try to use it. She said the was broke. My sis was a paying customer and can't use the bathroom? That is absolutely assinine. Never would I give my business to this cvs or any oher cvs.
As other reviewers have noted, they NEVER pick up the phone! I am always on hold for more than 10 minutes. I just called to check on a prescription in process and was told it would be ready at 8 pm TWO DAYS FROM NOW! The pharmacists are nice but apparently overwhelmed. My Insurance requires me to use CVS and this is the closest one to me, but probably not worth the hassle and stress every time I need something......
The pharmacy at this store is staffed with nothing but incredibly rude employees. They didn’t know where certain items were and didn’t want to help me find them. The pharmacist, Jessica, was just flat out rude, not only to me, but also another store employee who shared with me that many customers have complained about Jessica. I’ve encountered rude pharmacy employees at this store in the past too. Unbelievable!
Had many issues filling prescriptions here. My last one I requested to be filled at a later date so it would be ready when I returned from vacation. They filled it and returned it to the shelf before I got home. I even called and the pharmacist assured me it would still be there when I returned. Of course it wasn't and they wanted me to come back 2 hours later to pick it up. Changing pharmacies.
Will not go back. Pharmacy manager was really rude and refused to refill my prescriptions as they were written because he "wasn't comfortable" with it. He did not bother to call my doctor and verify, although she provided her contact info precisely for this type of situation. Note - I've filled those exact prescriptions with no issue whatsoever at other CVS pharmacies. Incredibly frustrating!
Absolute worst experience every single time I’m here. No exaggeration either when I say good luck trying to get anyone on the phone. I will wait a minimum of 30 minutes just for someone to answer. They’ve continuously stated they’re short staffed and working on it but they don’t seem to be doing anything about it. You will never be in and out of this place. I suggest switching to Walgreens.
EVERY TIME I call they NEVER answer. The automated system they push you to doesn’t even help you. This is by far the LEAST accessible CVS I have EVER tried to reach out to. I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but you have to put something. Honestly not much to say about this place because they never want to help customers who call and need their prescription. DO NOT make this your pharmacy
Should be zero stars for this store. They never get prescriptions right, despite repeated reminders of specific needs. Just two minutes ago, their lotto ticket machine stole a dollar from me. The staff claimed it’s been disabled for days but there was no sign on it. It didn’t say “disabled” until I stuck my money in. It’s only $1 but it’s another example of their proud incompetence.
I came into day with my 5 year old who has OAB. He needed to use the restroom. They said the public one was out of order. They then stated there was one in the pharmacy, and I ask well can he go to that one because of his condition. Tony said no. I walk to pharmacy they said it's OK but we have to ask Tony. Tony says no to my 5 year old who has a bladder defiance. CVS DOESNT CARE.
Since I moved here in August, it has been impossible to get my prescription refilled here. I have to call each month, and they tell me they ordered it and it will be ready in 3 days. They never order my prescription. There’s been multiple instances where the pharmacist has offered me a different birth control since they don’t normally carry mine!!! Totally unprofessional.
This pharmacy location NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. Its important to get these refills called in to have them ready to pick up. I've been on hold for over 30 mins multiple times. When they do answer the phone which is rare they do not apologize for the wait and the 30 second transaction is over. These phone calls are quick and shouldn't require such a long hold time!!
pharmacy has horrible service. they don’t answer the phone so i had to go there to get my prescription filled and they said come back in an hour and when i came back they told me that didn’t have my medication and since they didn’t tell me until i came back, by then it was too late to have my doctor transfer my prescription to another location that has it.
Went to fill a prescription. There was a problem with it and the staff said they would speak to the physician and call me with an update... 3 days later I received no call. I had to call to find out my Rx was ready.... if they called me no message was left or an update that my prescription was ready.... def gong back to Walgreens... such better service.
I needed a doxy prescription filled. Simple enough. So I thought. I waited on hold for a half-hour and then hung up because I, like most people, don’t have time to waste. Needless to say, I ended up calling my PCP to add Lisinopril to my regimen and told her to send it to Walgreens. If you aren’t going to answer your phone, disconnect it.
Terrible practices! Scheduled a covid test for my mother for her surgery (required) and they canceled it 20 minutes prior! Then said just reschedule and we're rude about it as well! Just hung up on us! I hope when they need an emergency covid test theirs are canceled at the last minute with NO CONSIDERATION OR REASON !
OMG PLEASE ANSWER THE PHONE. This is not a one-off occasion. Every time I have ever tried to call the pharmacy I have been on hold for 45 min+. Last time I waited so long I decided to just hang up and go in person just to ask for the prescription refill - which meant I'd have to come back later when it's ready.
This is the worst location to get your prescription from! They are always closed! I have been waiting for mine for 3 days now. While the order is in process you cant even have it transferred to another location so youre stuck until this location somehow decides to care for people and open its pharmacy.
The doors are always locked well before the actual closing time that they have advertised. I've gone there many times to grab one item - in and out - with plenty of time to spare, and the doors are locked. Employees look and proceed to pretend im not there. Other than that, I would gladly give 5 stars.
Pharmacy staff is pretty useless. I always end up with the wrong prescription and have to wait up to an hour for them to correct it again. I usually come back when I receive text confirmation that they are ready. When I go back same thing. Wrong prescription or prescription isn't even filled yet.
Pharmacist was very rude, told me he was the GM when I asked for a manager, and literally dared me to file a complaint. He sounded pretty confident there would be zero consequences. I imagine he wasn’t told aboutt the lack of disciplinary action, as much as he experienced it for himself.
I have been trying for 3 days to get my mom's scripts transfered to this pharmacy and after staying up to 20 minutes of hold waiting for someone to answer in three different times of day I decided to call another pharmacy.. It's ridiculous the lack of consideration. Worse pharmacy ever
I go there on a daily basis as it is close to my work. Friendly staff. Easy to find items. Just a short distance from the library and a great coffee shop. Only complaint if any, is that sometimes when there are a lot of people in there and only one cashier, lines move really slow.
Pharmacy is a joke. I call to refill a prescription and they said it will be ready for pick up tomorrow. Show up three days later, wait in line for 25 min just to be told it's not ready. Not the first tome either. Do yourself a favor and use a different pharmacy!
Takes 20 minutes to answer their phone, ignores you when you come to the window, never has your prescription ready. Even had another location call them and they still made us wait ten minutes. Really would help if you hired more staff, if you're so short-handed.
I don't like this Dogs. The people that work in the pharmacy are rude. They lost all my insurance information. I am transferring all my scripts and business away from here. The close at 8 pm. cause they in the ghetto. Not fair to people who stay in the area.
Horrible pharmacy. There are consistent with never having prescriptions ready even after being notified they are ready for pickup. If you say you will be back and come back an hour later, still won't be ready. You have to wait a long time there to get them.
I asked I could use the restroom and the lady was utterly rude and shook her head telling me not for he public, I asked what about for paying customers? She said no! There for one star! The lady that told me looked like a troll from Jim Henson’s Labyrinth.
Made an appmt. Couldnt get a flu shot because they dont take United Healthcare- my employer and I pay over $3K a year for coverage. CVS wants you to buy $5 gatorade and alcohol. Does nothing for public health. Quite ironic in a post pandemic environment.
I have sat on hold for an hour and no one in the Pharmacy ever once picked up the phone. What the heck is going on? Terrible attention to service, I regret asking my doctor to send my prescription to this location. Avoid at all costs if you can.
Why do they take so long to pick Up? They say Sunday to pick Up medicine is at 10:00 am Not 7:00 am on Sunday why don’t they change hours on google?.. Thank God I called first. It’s scorching hot when you don’t drive it’s hard
Stopped at this location because I got stuck in traffic and desperately needed to go to the restroom. When I enter they had a paper sign saying restroom is broken so I decided to ask an employee that if they wait outside the door of the
Management will tackle, pin, beat, pin the neck of, handcuff customers and those around them for suspected shoftlifting. This is a major felony, a huge lawsuit liability, and a good way to get cases dismissed against actual shoplifters.
This pharmacy never has any type of controlled substance available. I'm guessing because the location might make them susceptible to robbery or something. In conclusion, if you have a script for any type of narcotic, go somewhere else.
If you ever want the pleasure of sitting on hold for thirty minutes and then just giving up, this is the pharmacy for you. If you would appreciate a pharmacy with a sense of organization and respect for customers, choose elsewhere.
The cashier, Amy was extremely rude and condescending. She obviously has no experience in customer service and should not be allowed into this position. I do not recommend this location because of her poor attitude.
Pharmacy closed earlier than CVS app or Google hours reflect. Could not pick up medications and wasted a trip. Update 2 weeks later: spent 20+ min on hold & no one ever picked up phone at pharmacy during open hours
Literally the worse CVS pharmacy I've been to. Thought maybe they were understaffed but theres plenty of people behind the counter filling pills while one person remains to manage drive thru and in-person pickup
This location has by far the worst customer service I have encountered at any location. Definitely will not be coming back to this location. They also need to update their website with their correct hours.
Have been trying to contact the pharmacy for 3 days and still no answer. Waited on hold for 30+ minutes. Extremely frustrating as I go through withdrawals without the medication I'm trying to get filled.
I have been trying to get a hold of the pharmacy for 4 days now. They have a prescription that I need filled and it’s stuck in their system. This is not the first time either. Horrible customer service.
It's nearly impossible to get prescriptions filled here. The pharmacy often closes without explanation, and when it's open they are hours or even days behind schedule. Likely severely under-staffed.
Conveniently located with plenty of parking. The service is fast and friendly and the store is usually well stocked. Perfect for grabbing a quick snack for those working in the downtown area!
They are supposed to be open until 10pm but I showed up with my sick 10 month old for Tylenol at 9:53 and the door was locked. We knocked and the staff saw us but wouldn’t let us in.
I came in and went to go pick up my prescription and the black woman working in the pharmacy was so rude in encompetent she didn't even. Help me and then she just walked away.
Scheduled vaccine for 9am, was told they aren't starting till 10am. Why are you scheduling before anyone can administer the vaccine? Never going to this location for anythjng.
I'm from out of town and stopped to grab a few things. Tried to ask to go to bathroom but they said no so my 40 purchase went down the street to Safeway. They were super nice.
Fast and super friendly pharmacy staff, well stocked shelves, and a really pleasant atmosphere. One star short of perfect because the area outside their parking lot is sus.
This pharmacy is not helpful and does not answer the phone after 30 minutes on hold. There always seems to be a different issue, so I would not recommend it if possible.
I should have read the reviews. Impossible to get scripts filled here, incredibly rude and undereducated staff, and they generally just don't seem to care. Stay away!
No public restroom when other CVS have a bathroom I can understand if it's homeless ppl but when u have a uniform on it would be open. U will never go this CVS again
Literally worst slowest pharmacy I’ve seen in my life, literally every single time. Drive through takes at least 45 minutes inside at least 15… seriously ridiculous
Cancelled our vaccine booster appointment on 2 hours notice with no reason given. 2nd CVS that has done this. Go somewhere else for your booster and your business.
Worst CVS in the country...One star is too much they should have negative stars they mess up my RX's every month its so bad and they never answer the phone ever!!!
The girl pharmacist was very very rude when I needed time to get the copay. Omar was amazing tho and he’s the only reason I’m still gonna go to that pharmacy
NEVER GO TO THIS PHARMACY!! WORST SERVICE OF ANY STORE IVE EVER BEEN TO. TOLD ME IT WOULD BE 2 WEEKS JUST TO FILL A SCRIPT OF 20 ANTIBIOTICS!! RIDICULOUS!!
Call the pharmacy, on hold for 17 minutes and was disconnected. Called back and was hold 20 minutes, hung up on again. This was not ab accident.
This is literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. They need serious help - almost impossible to get a prescription. Avoid at all costs.
Calling from a doctor's office and have been on hold for almost 2 hours now. UNACCEPTABLE. Pick up your phone so we can help our patients.
I never thought I’d be reviewing a CVS, but the workers here are always so friendly and helpful. Nothing but pleasant experiences so far.
I was on hold for 14 minutes then someone picked up and said “hi how many I help you” and immediately as I was responding, they hung up…
Pharmacy service was incredibly slow and in efficient. Took 15 min with 3 people to start the process and I was the only customer.
I hate this pharmacy the worst customer service ever! They do whatever they want and fill your prescriptions if they feel like it!
No one ever picks up the phone at the pharmacy. Medications are never ready on time. Store is disgusting and dirty. Staff is rude.
The pharmacist is always running late. They send texts saying they’re ready only to have you come back later when you arrive.
Has what you need. Pretty clean and has a rent-a-cop. Easy to drive in and out. Tad overpriced, even by CVS standards.
Wannabe security will follow you around, acting like the customers are shoplifters. Never been to a place that rude!
