Stopped, shopped and scooted! It is rare that I go into any store without browsing... hey, I'm curious! But for this trip, it was time sensitive, for there was ice cream warming in the car! This business observes and practices COVID-19 protocols. Posted on entrance "mask required," and both customers and staff are very conscious of face coverings and social distancing. There were a few customers @ location during this later time of the night (11:15pm to midnight) , and, make a note for those late "911" situations, this is a 24hr locale. The employees are courteous, greeting all upon entry and a pleasant, " have a good night," exiting. They are also efficient, for these hours are "stock the shelves" hours and even though they are busy filling and facing product, in my experiences here, they almost always acknowledge, at the very least, with a nod. For those searching with a look of doubt, there is always a, "can I help you?" not so far away. This night's trip was a 1 item stop, focused and quick! Item was in stock (checked online before going and one of few places that had it in larger quantity package...AND IT WAS ON SALE!), I grabbed 2 case, then headed for cashier. Friendly cashier kindly directed a hovering conversationalist towards the exit, while reaching to scan my checkout, paid with card, and out the door! 5 min stop! Ice Cream top barely softened as put it in my freezer... ty Walgreens! BeWell!
I transferred my prescriptions from Frys because of a reason now was not worth leaving. This Walgreens pharmacy takes 30 mins in drive thru cause Even She Your Doctor calls your prescriptions in 2 OR 4 days before you pick them up. I can forgive the first time not having them ready . But the 2 visit was 30 mins and no other car was waiting. 3rd Visit Amber was rude and had a bad attitude , 2nd visit I got 3 prescriptions & didn't know till the next day I HAD PAID FOR A PRESCRIPTION I DIDN'T NEED UNDER $10 . So I mistakenly handed Amber the wrong receipt and she comes back nasty mean , I said I have the receipt and handled to her. While she was gone I got the # to talk to Manager Fred; but I haven't been able to get back to to a sprained ankle. I WILL NEVER GET PRESCRIPTIONS FROM WALGREENS AGAIN. You may pay for the wrong prescription and not be able to return it. I never in 25 years of Frys Pharmacies pick up a prescription that I wasn't told what I was getting . The 2nd& 3rd visit never went over what I was getting. I knew Because I'd just come from the doctors 10 hours earlier.
I’ve been going to this Walgreens for years. It used to be so quick and efficient with nearly no issues. I don’t know what’s happened over the past couple of months to maybe a year that their service is horrible. When I come into the drive thru to get my medication, there’s a lady who is so rude. She cuts you off before you even have a chance to speak. I was picking up medication for both my father and I and she cut me off before I could even tell her my name or who I was getting medication for. Also to mention that you will sit in their drive thru for over a half hour before they even notice you—even after pressing the call button! It just seems like the health care system is no longer caring for patients the way that we need it. I’m only staying here because of the convenience (although not really) for my medication. If you are someone who has never been here at this Walgreens, don’t waste your time. There are plenty of better pharmacies to go to. There are definitely better Walgreen pharmacies to go to and this is not the one.
It’s 12:30am I’m down with the flu and feeling very sick. Came to this store a few minutes ago to buy a bottle of NyQuil to get a good night’s sleep. Casher asked that she has to see my ID, I said why? She said to verify my age for the NyQuil, I said fine and gave her my ID to see my age, but as soon as I gave her my ID, she scanned it without my permission into their system. My ID has lots of my personal information on it, and some shady minimum wage casher at Walgreens now has all my personal info without even asking permission for it, including my address, eye color, hight, weight, Driver’s licenses number and much much more. I am not willing to give all my personal information to some stranger at a retail store just so I can buy a bottle of NyQuil, but Walgreens staff never told me she was going to scan my ID into their system, she only asked to see it, but she did without my permission.
I showed up sick 3 times over and needed 4 expensive prescriptions. When the pharmacy tech rang up my insurance it was not coming up as my primary. I was going to have to pay over $300 out of pocket. There was nothing I could do. It was a Sunday and my insurance customer service is closed on the weekends. Without me asking for any help the pharmacy tech called my insurance for me, corrected the problem right there, submitted my prescriptions, and had them done in 20 minutes. I paid $37 and was so happy that he did that for me I teared up a little. Being as sick as I was I really appreciated that he did that. Not to mention it was extremely busy, and he still went out of his way. My other pharmacy kept having the same issue and acted as though there was nothing they could do. Now I know that wasn't the case and am going to switch to this pharmacy for sure if I can.
Just left this Walgreens. Was there to purchase Soda with my hard earned money. My order was simple, 3 soda's for 6 dollars 2 for 2 dollars a total of 8 dollars. The worker tried to charge me 11.37 I explained these are on sale for a total of 8 dollars. She went over to see the advertising showing I was correct. ALL WITH MAJOR ATTITUDE. She ringed it up again. Came to 10.47. I told that is not correct. She finally ringed it up at 8 dollars, which was correct. Never stated her mistake. As I was putting my items in my bag. She told the next customer, she is use to dealing with people like me.(what does that mean).very rude, how can companies allow people to work under their brand and treat customers like this, they could care less about people spending their money with there company. I would advise anyone to avoid this store.
I recently was there and was taking advantage of a deal on toothpaste. There was no limit to the deal. But as I was paying another employee (not my cashier) by the name of Tiki or Kiki in front of everyone in line (other 10 customers) loudly starts yelling at me and my daughters saying that we couldn't be taking so many toothpaste and that we should be considerate of others. We literally had 6 toothpaste. Everyone was just staring and couldn't belive how she was screaming. Not only that but as we where leaving the store one of my daughters stayed behind to check something and overheard her talking about us. Saying that how could we be so shameless and take so many toothpaste. Certainly not pleased with this MANAGER'S behavior and facial expressions towards us. Mostly likely won't return to be put in embarrassment again.
Had been coming here for a while. However tonight there was a security guard (didn't get name) that had a beard and some thick eyebrows. We came in with a 8 year old's bike and didn't have a chain for it. We were just stopping by to pick up Medicine so we asked if we could leave the bike with him in the front. He said no. NO! To a little kids bike, we weren't gonna leave outside, there was people out there and if anything happened to his bike you could imagine the tears of an 8 year old boy. We were just going to wait in the front with the bike while one of the 3 of us got the medicine. The very arrogant and ignorant security gaurd said no and the we had to leave his bike outside. Of course we then proceeded to leave. I am very disappointed and confused on how a person could do that!!!
I was in need of a Callus Remover which was locked. I pushed a button for someone to assist me within the store. The buzzer made an announcement three times and no one from the store came over. I walked to the front register and asked if anyone was available to assist to which the cashier (Annabelle) just pointed in the direction of Antonio. Antonio was not pleasant. The only thing Antonio stated was "I did not know these were locked." Anabelle checked me out, did not say hello, or if I found everything, did not even tell me my total. Anabelle also did not tell me to have a good day. I only go to this Walgreens because it is close to my house, everytime I come to this store I have a bad experience. I wish this store would just close down or change management!
Rude staff. Every single time. lol I find it amusing at this point. Had to ask the front rep at the pharmacy, if she was having a bad day…. They told me it would be an additional hour to wait for my medication that was sent 2 hours ago. I told them I was going to wait in the lobby since I had a flight to catch and the woman said she will call my name when ready. Never called, after an hour and a half I went up to counter to ask the time left, she told me it’s been ready. And when I ask her where is the lady who told me she was going to call me, the girl came up, and I told her how it’s rude to have someone waiting for no reason. Her and the PHARMACIST both laughed. Please drive the extra 20 Miles if ya can
After the fifth time the medication not being ready I’m changing pharmacies. Was through the drive-through last week had asked for things to be refilled and then when I went to go pick them up five days later none of them had been done. So irritated I just left. Call today at 10 AM for prescriptions to be ready by 5pm because I had a flight to catch. Asked if they had everything in stock and they said yes. I get there and two prescriptions still need to be filled and turns out one of them they don’t even have. I’m so done with this on organize pharmacy and asking for refills and not ever having them when I need them. not reliable at all go somewhere else!!!
My vet sent in an RX for insulin. I didn't know this until Walgreens told me, but my vet did not specify which type of insulin. Walgreens failed to confirm with my vet or me which type of insulin and just randomly guessed. This resulted in a hospitalization for my dog costing an extra $2500 charge for me. Not only this, walgreens said they cannot exchange the insulin for the right type or give a refund for the insulin. Will be going in to get district manager's information and walgreens lawyers' information. My vet was even astounded that they just guessed what medicine to fill without checking and also their response to the situation.
I came to get my prescription. I was told that I needed preauthorization from my insurance company and that they would take care of it. They never followed up with me about it and that makes me angry. I've been getting my prescriptions there for over 20 years however their new staff really don't care about the customers at all nor do they perform their jobs well. Why lie to your customers? Be honest and let them know what you are really going to do. I asked if I should contact my doctor and were told no that the pharmacy would contact my insurance company but it been over 2 weeks and still nothing. I'm very disappointed.
I just wanted to say sorry to the worker who tried to help me find a product , she was kind and handled the situation pretty easily. I'm out of breathe, sweaty and appeared to have had an attitude because I was trying to keep my self from wheezing a lung out from exercising. So I hope the store looks at this and notices that the employees working between 5-6 am on mar 25 are ROCKSTARS! No wait and they were pretty chill. For them being around Glendale it's not the nicest area but they make do and help you out even though they only get paid minimum wage if not barely above it. Thank you Walgreens on 43 and Glendale.
Every time I go into this store the staff is more than rude, and unfriendly,. I've been followed around like some kind of criminal, i have even been greated by police because the day manager was profiling me to the point he assumed I had stolen something and he thought he would scare me into admitting something I had not done. Needless to say I was innocent and therefore was not arrested. . Even though the embarrassment was bad enough. If a store employee is going to accuse someone of thief they had better be damn sure otherwise there should be some kind of punishment for them I feel but that's just my opinion.
I have been coming to this pharmacy for years and never have had as horrible of am experience like I did today. I understand they are short staffed and are making modifications to the availability of the pharmacy but my experience with a cashier named Jocelyn( or at least that was the she gave) was horrible. She was rude when taking Pick up information, rolling her eyes. When she asked me for payment was mad that I reached over to grab it and threw my medication on the desk and walked away for a good 4 minutes. AGAIN I understand the shortage in staff but her attitude was extremely unprofessional.
I couldn’t be more disappointed with the pharmacy here. They were out of a medication which was fine, so I waited a week. I then come back, find out they PUT ONE OF THEM AWAY (I was given nothing on my first visit) because I didn’t pick it up. They then let me know they have my other medicine in stock, BUT THEY CANT GIVE IT TO ME. They had an entire week to call me or my doctor and let me know, but they didn’t. I’ve been a week without, and now it’s going to be at least a few more days. What is going on here? I just can’t believe any of this happened.
Just left walgreens and was awful i have the flu am disabled road 2 miles on a bike to find out they did not order enough to fill the script. So on my way out i cough and my gum came out. I'm sick and upset and keep walking out of the store. I get to my bike and feel presure on my shoulder he pushed the gum hard on my new leather jacket. He was tall about 6.3. And he is an employee of walgreens. I can't believe walgreens allows there employees to put there hands on a customer. Be careful like i said he's about 6.3 dark medium hair and he works there.
2 of the bigger lady's up on front Feburary 17 at like 2 in the morning one said that the was the manager in charge ,They where staring at me like I was going to steal from them, they gave me very bad Customer service, they gave me dirty looks and a nasty attitude I will be sending more information to the headquarters of Walgreens you shouldn't have people that don't enjoy there job working there get these heavy lady's out and put them as door greeters that's probably the best they can do. I will not recommend to shop here to my family and friends
They took care of me with an emergency refill so I could travel and get on my way early the next morning. They answered the phone in a timely manner and stayed true to their word about filling my medication. It's an older smaller store, but they really helped me out of a jam. I needed to be 970 miles away in less than 18 hours. A Fry's or regular store was not going to cut it and when i have a 12 drive ahead of me I don't need to spend an hour in some dink___ town waiting on a script. I need to putting the miles behind me and get to my hotel.
We have always gone to this Walgreens, I do not understand why they are always so disrespectful. Horrible and when I say Horrible I mean it. The customer service is absolutely outrageous! If we ask a question they are always very rude and are ignorant. For example when we went to this Walgreens one of the photo kiosks was off, we wanted to know if it worked and asked politely and with the rudest tone "It doesn't work, can't you see it's off? It's being fixed. " Hopefully, These attitudes will be fixed, Thank you for your time.
Sorry to say but they need to close this Walgreens there customer service sucks was pressed the button for service and nobody would come and they were just staring at me finally after 3 times of the buzzer going off they just walk by I had tell them I needed help poor service especially when I work at other Walgreens instead of them walking out every 5 seconds to see who is out of the store. You need focus on the inside of store especially if your short staffed
Zero Starts, they dont deserve it. They always want you to Do their Jobs Such as "You Call the Doctors To Request Prescriptions when they Run out" Place you On 20 Minute Holds, It's Their Job and they think they are there for something Else... And when they finally realize that they have to do something, They Act like they did you a Favor. It feels like you always have to Pull someones Tooth out to Make something Happen... PLEASE TRAIN THEM....
It's ok minus the lady who is employed their I hear her talk to pplcrazy. How I am there w my 3year old grand daughter n the lady at the register says did I see u in here. I stio n was co fused cuzz I wasn't n there n she stares at my grand daughter rn I'm like if u did is there a problem coming again. I was told by workers she does a lot of ppl like that n she gonna do the wrong person like thay one day n get cursed out for talkn to pplthT way
Worst Walgreens in Phoenix. The state board should really investigate the Pharmacist and his way of practice. Rude and condescending. I waited in the lobby for 2 hours and instead of considering processing my medication he sat and made calls about pick up’s being ready. DO NOT GO HERE if you are on a medication needed daily. They don’t treat people with respect. Reported to board of medicine for his disrespectful approach.
I have been coming to this Walgreens at 43rd and Glendale for over 20 years. Although in the past this location had a decline in customer service, imo they have improved considerably. This location really serves the community in a medical capacity. They provide over the counter medication, prescriptions, vaccines and many other health related needs. Everybody here does a very good job under often difficult circumstances.
This walgreens picked the slack up from the other store that didn't have the med I'm stock. Not only did I get to the 43rd Ave /Glendale store and back to 35th Ave /Dunlap in time to wait another 20 min... the 43rd Ave one was right on time with meds... they said 30 min... it was 30 min... 35th Ave said 40 min and it was an 1 hr and 20 min... way to go and out do your sister store... maybe you can teach them efficiency.
We got a prescription with my aunt who was discharged from the hospital and another Walgreens was out of it. Along with this we had little to no instruction on how to administer this. The pharmacist that was on duty Saturday mid day went beyond I could have hoped for to explain to me everything I needed to know. I do not recall having been treated as well at a drug store in a very long time. Thank you!
The girl that said she was a manger was the most rudest and prejudice person I have ever see. That person should be removed from the store. Been doing same thing at store for 7 years just did it 2 days ago. She told me for months they have not done it. That was a out right lie . Tonight KIKI did not like my looks and would not look at proof she is not like anyone I have ever dealt with at that store.
Pharmacy said a 25 minutes wait I came back an hour later with groceries in my car and was told to wait an additional 25 minutes. The reason for the wait was they just didn’t get around to it. There was no line and one car in the drive thru and the parking was pretty empty. I saw maybe three customers in the whole store. The Frys at 43rd and Bethany rd respects the wait time they give.
This place keeps saying I need to go to dr to get refills on medication I have 2 refills left in I spoke to pharmacists and he says an employee went into the system and canceled all my medications for absolutely no reason this is retaliatory due to a complaint because they are completely inept they have messed up my medication and I wouldn't trust them with your medication!!!!!@@@!
Their pharmacy used to be open 24/7. Now that they aren't its been a real problem. The fact that if I run out of meds and don't realize until late there is nothing I can do about it because the pharmacy isn't open all the time anymore. I get them being short staffed but customer care and support should be their priority. Not having the pharmacy open 24/7 is a problem in my mind.
Very disappointed with their drive-thru pharmacy service. Had to wait in line for 25 minutes. One car stayed at the window for 15 minutes. Other pharmacies limit their drive through to pick up and drop off prescriptions. It seems like this person waited to have it filled while in line at the drive-thru. I may have to find a new Pharmacy if this happens again.
Came in this store with a an ear ache looking for a walk in clinic to get some drops the told me it was closed so I looked to see what they had for drops and was accused of stealing ear drops while I was browsing the candy. Because I put them back decided to wait till tomorrow to see the clinic. They lost my business CVS it is.
So i buy Albuterol Solution for the Nebulizer Machine two days ago. Call today to see if I can get tubing for the machine and told I need a prescription I want plastic! One girl tells me I can get it no problem next one comes on the phone and says only with a prescription. Amazon sold it to me without a problem i love them
I just walked out because the cashier rang my friend up, then just walked away from the line. We waited a good 5 minutes, she came back, then walked away again. I understand if you have other things to do, but if you keep people waiting, at least have the courtesy to give them an expectation of when you'll return.
If i could give zero stars I would. The pharmacy is very unorganized and there is always long waits in the store and and also I’m the drive thru. The staff is very rude and they are in way shape or form trying to help you and give good customer service. I’d never recommend anyone go here for any services.
Clean store with VERY friendly employees! One of them, I think it was the manager, kept following me around asking if I needed a shopping cart or if I needed help finding something. After telling her no twice, she kept following me and appeared to be very eager to please, showing GREAT customer service!
Your local Walgreens on the corner of happy and healthy (no pun intended) they offer a lot of prescription drugs, pain killers, food, supplies, drinks, junk food. The store is overall clean, restrooms require keys, staff seem friendly sometime long lines for medication in store and drive through.
THIS BY FAR IS THE WROST WALGREENS EVER NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO TALK TO LET ALONE DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS MANAGERS INCLUDED!! ALL EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS ON THEY PHONES OVERALL TRASH PLACE THE WHOLE STORE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN OR EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE FIRED NEW EMOLOYEES AND TRAINING!!!
Store sucks Angie is racist security thinks he's a gangster. Rude unprofessional and lazy. I will do everything I can to make sure everyone in this area knows how racist the employee Angie is and I won't stop until her and her wanna be gangster security boyfriend are fired
I recently visited this location to get a prescription filled. While waiting I asked both a clerk and the manager to please use the restroom and neither would allow me. I think this is very unprofessional when you have a paying customer. I will not be returning!!!
I love this Walgreen's ! Every time we need something like snacks, dog food, or even laundry soap we get it here since it is open late. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the prices are higher than what other stores have for the same products.
I was shopping at this Walgreen with my 4 year old niece. She needed to use the restroom so did I, I am 34 weeks pregnant and the rude pharmacist did not allow us to use the restroom because is not for customers. I will never go to this Walgreens again!
Called after midnight because my Loved one was having a reaction to a particular medication and the Pharmacist helped and answered all my questions on 8/13/2022. Thank you for all you do and giving advice to alternative medicines to help with pain.
Completely rude and unprofessional check out clerk ESTEBAN at this location. He needs to fired or taught some respect. The way he talks to customers is not acceptable. He has no business in customer service. Management needs to handle him.
This employee who's name is TYLER decided to be a smart mouth on January 26th and make verbal threats against me and then proceeded to call the cops to have me trespass but didn't after I told him I would sue. I submitted a complaint in
I would like to report my unsatisfied shopping trip at the store today with the staff member named “Lexie” for unacceptable behavior and discrimination. First incident, I, politely, asked the employee to get the locked merchandise
Went in tried to exchange some slippers I got for my birthday they had a tear in themThe manager was so rude his name is Jonathan He looked at me like I stold them and had an attitude I will not be returning to this location.
This store is absolutely the worst Walgreens I've ever experienced. Not helpful at all. Rude customer service. I've been a Walgreens customer for 20 plus years and never experienced such horrible customer service.
The miserable elderly cashier up front is rude and unprofessional to the point where I was sure it had to be some kind of joke. Thank goodness this was the one and only time I was forced to use this location!
Great pharmacist, after going to 3 other pharmacies for syringes, this pharmacy took care of me right away. Pharmacist even gave me some advice on getting my meds for cheaper. I'll be back …
Very friendly store. Looking for a particular beauty product and the staff took the time to research and locate the item for me. Great customer service. Will be going back to this Walgreens for sure.
Make sure to count the change u get back, because I went to buy 45 dallor gift card gave $100 got $45 either the manager scam me or doesn't how to count. Head up count ur change before leaving.
Like previous people have said staff is rude. The wait is extremely long for prescriptions. I think I’ll just do myself the favor of changing pharmacies. They lack empathy and professionalism.
Horribly customer service tried dropping off a fed ex package and was told a 24×24 in box was to big to go elsewhere, not a sorry just "you need to go elsewhere" and turned and walked away
I saw this girl kiki (the manager) was very rude to a customer all because he had long hair, he was trying to show her proof of what he was saying, she was not listening to him
Horrible! Don't get a prescription filled here if it's a controled substance. They make up their own rules as to when you can pick it up and they just treat you like a junky.
It was apparant that the staff was following me around the store. I stayed in one aisle for an uncomfortable amount of time and the entire time the staff watched me.
I have had nothing but bad experiences with their photo department. I can't speak for the rest of the store, but I can say if you want a photo gift look elsewhere.
The older lady up front is very aggressive every time I come in. Literally thew my items when I asked for a bag. Very disrespectful. I come in every other day
Its open later then most and it sells certain items that most other pharmacy's don't and for that and kind customer service they get a 5 star from me
If you advertise that you're open 24 hrs, but you're closed when I come at 0630?¿? It really irritates me, just list store hrs, it's not that hard!¡!
Worst pharmacy in the valley, randomly closes, rude terrible staff, slow as molasses, and doesn't know how to submit information to insurances.
This pharmacy is the closest 24/7 and they did an amazing job at getting us a prescription in a very timely manner that we needed that night!
The pharmacist on duty on night is by far the most helpfull person that Walgreens employees wish everyone could be as helpful as he is.
Horrible service, never answer the phone in person, takes days for a prescription to be ready, just bad service all around!
Employees are nice but they're refrigerators are empty as well as lots of the shelves. Makes it hard to door dash here.
Pharmacy was extremely helpful in rectifying a problem caused by another Walgreens pharmacy location. I appreciate it!
The best , the cleanest, the most positive people and the mostly systemic pharmacy. I have been with them for 2 years
they are not open 24 hours, I don’t think I’ve ever been here at night when they were actually open
Drove all the way here just to see a paper sign CLOSED at least take the 24 hour label off google
This store is the ONLY 24 hour pharmacy around and IT WAS CLOSED due to staffing? Done with ya.
Worst pharmacy to go to. People there are incompetent like crazy. Never again will I go there.
The staff is friendly and helpful. A real breath of fresh air, compared to where we came from.
The pharmacy is a joke. Terrible customer service. Sure hope they at least know how to count
There was no line this time. It's a good place to add paper money to your Cash app account.
They need more workers at night there's always only one employee and they always need help
Well... they clearly don't think to update their info on Google so it could be better.
Wasted my time driving here for an Uber eats pickup and the entire store is closed
The store manager that was confrontational 5 months ago is still confrontational.
I us this place for everything . Meds & hygiene stuff notebooks whatever I need.
Great except for their photo Dept. I recommend for photos use 51st and northern
Gotta love the local Walgreens. Always open and there when you need something.
Wonderful people working here. Compassionate and just all around awesome.
The pharmacy is so slow and very single time at least an hour Waite
Calling this place is worse than the MVD, as the other guy stated.
Not a safe store it is always surrounded by crazy dangerous people
Why does it say the location is 24 hrs but it’s NEVER OPENED!!!!!
Grateful for this 24hr service. Very professional staff here.
No customer service to por special in the mornings. Not good
There's always someone to help if I cant find wut I need
Clean and easy to find things that im looking for
The stuff are really friendly in Pharmacy section
This place is not open 24 hrs, so that's a lie.
The pharmacy staff are rude and unprofessional.
The pharmacy customer service is horrible.
Love this walgreens. Best in the valley
Manager is trash just like the store
Store was clean cashier was friendly
