I horrible experience I had with this pharmacy. After waiting 45 minutes, decided to leave. My Mom and I both had an appointment for vaccines. I understand delays and lines during these tough times. And being a front line worker. But they were fully staffed. And the treatment and sense of urgency was unacceptable from this younger hispanic lady. First, there was trouble finding both appointments. Once she did. Was abruptly told that they did not have my flu shot for under 65. After having an appointment and waiting. Luckily my Mom was fine for shingles. Otherwise wasted time and with that dismisive attitude. Then I took the time to fill the authorization form online. As she tries to shove a clipboard. I looked and said, I did this online. She said, give me a chance to look and have a seat. During that time, I witnessed an upset customer who paid and received another customer's prescription in the drive thru. So they came in. Then this same lady, told a mother that was trying to vaccinate a little boy. That she was concerned about poking herself since the boy was fidgeting. Understood, but horrible delivery. Then she comes back to me with the clipboard. Says she never found it. Never saw her look. I replied, is this gonna delay more? She says, these people are before you anyways. Which they were not. As the 2 before me in line went. Since I was there during their check in. All ploys to be difficult, as she knew I was frustrated. Anyways, I left at that point.

This review is for the actual pharmacist - not Walgreens or the pharmacy techs. Four times in a row this pharmacist has gotten my sons prescription wrong. The first three times he admitted hi las error, once I pointed it out. He admitted he did the math wrong. The 4th time he refused to see or admit his incorrect calculations and depended on incorrect notes from the past. He claimed all we had left on refills was 1/2 a prescription. My sons prescriptions are injected nightly and not once in 7 years of him being prescribed this medication has a doctor ever called in 8 1/2 refills or 11 1/2 refills. That is the most absurd thing I had ever been told at a pharmacy. Each time I would go the pharmacist would try to refill only 1/2 of the Rx. The only thing that makes sense is that he, himself, again did the math wrong and noted that there was only 1/2 left. Due to the fact that my son was out of his Rx my hands were tied. I was charged full price for 1/2 of the medication and asked if I was happy. Seriously?!? When calling my doctors office they were completedly shocked and they strongly recommended never returning to that pharmacy. I don’t care how convenient or close it is. Having a pharmacist who cannot do math is just dangerous.

I have been trying for over a month to get my medication. EVRY single time I call they give me an excuse as to why it's not ready or why my insurance isn't covering it. Then they have the decency to tell me they're "too busy" to help me or call my insurance. They told me that line multiple times when I have called for a status on my medication. So what do they do all day? Last I thought, I was a customer. Isn't it their job to be providing customer service and dealing with insurances or at least letting the customer know the insruance isn't paying for so and so reason? Not once have they called me to let me know there were issues. The store manager was beyond rude. Kept talking over me and claiming I was just trying to argue. She was not listening to me when I told her multiple times what the issue was and what they had to do, because she thought the pharmacy staff had said something else. Her behavior was disgusting. This entire experience has been awful, with nothing resolved. Just them telling me to call back again, when the pharmacy manager Tom is available. I've called my insurance by the way, and no other insurance shows up on their end. Only at Walgreens.

Pharmacy department at this location leaves a lot to be desired. After being told my prescription would be there on a certain date and be ready by lunch to pick up, I waited until a little later in the afternoon figuring I'd give a little more time. Upon my arrival, I was told they don't show any medications for me and the prescription I had turned in was something most places won't carry (obviously I knew as they told me when they special ordered it) then I was told there is only ONE person that could find out what happened to call her. I asked when and got told "oh she won't be here in time to check for you" so here I am missing my medication and don't have a clue when I'll find out any information. A simple phone call to let me know the medication didn't show up would have been GREAT! At least give the opportunity for me to try a different pharmacy with a different medication delivery schedule. A little customer service can absolutely go a long way!

I've only been here a few times to get prescriptions for my roommate and no matter where you go, drive thru or in store, the wait time is an absolute nightmare. One time I waited 30 min in the drive thru and there was only one person working the counter. Now I'm currently standing in line in store and have been waiting 15min already. And there's 3 people in front of me and a line of around 10 behind me. I go to CVS for my personal prescriptions and even with it being short staffed there, im in and out quicker at CVS than I am at THIS Walgreens. The Walgreens on Craig and MLK has quicker service than this one and they have just as much staff and it's just as busy. I know covid can cause places to be short staffed but some sort of time management needs to be worked on with efficiency

It's completely unacceptable to gaslight people and this pharmacist has done it to me too many times! Never has a pharmacist treated me the way I've been treated here. I literally has to have a homeless man get me my medication because he had a valid ID lmfaaoooo. I lost my wallet the day prior and the pharmacist did EVERYTHING in thier power to try not to let me get my meds. I tried a dmv copy, the picture of my valid ID front and back and they still would not let me pick it up.... But they let a homeless man pick mine up who does not match the providers description? Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!! That blows my mind!

A couple of months ago I visited the pharmacy and was very impressed with the short wait time and the friendly service. However today I tried to call to see if they had a medication and I waited for 20 minutes only to have my call dropped. No one ever answered. I had thought of transferring all my prescriptions to this Walgreens but will definitely not be doing so. It is understandable that they are busy but they could just simply inform the customer of the approximate wait time or to call back later. Some pharmacies have an automated system that tells you how many people are ahead of you.

I have to admit, sometimes this pharmacy is a little with getting prescription drugs processed in a timely manner, but they can also be very helpful and provide great customer service. I went to have a COVID-19 booster done for my spouse, and the young man who first waited on us was very courteous and attentive, but he was also about to go to lunch. But we were willing to come back after their lunch break, and he was true to his word. Once we got there, we were taken care of right away. My thanks to the young lady doing the shot. She was great.

Walgreens-you need to hire more people in the pharmacy to answer phone calls. It should not be faster to drive to the pharmacy to ask a question than it is to get through to a staff member to get an answer about a medication that cannot be answered online. I was on hold for 43 minutes today, and then it was the meal break so my phone call never got answered. I am patient, but longer than a few minutes is frustrating, longer than 10 minutes is a sign of not hiring enough people.

I have used this pharmacy for years and never had a problem until recently, which prompted me to write this review. The pharmacy staff was rude and didn't seem happy about even answering my question or helping me about an prescription for my daughter. They seemed to even question why I was calling and just talked over the top of me. I will definitely be switching pharmacies. I have two small children and can't risk them messing up medications.

Pharmacist, Devin and Pharmacy Tech, Jen were both friendly, understanding and very helpful in helping me resolve an issue with my prescriptions after I attempted to use the Walgreens mail order service. They were patient and kind while listening to my concerns, and helped me come up with solutions. They even followed up with a call when it was resolved. I recommend this Walgreens, you get 'small town service' in a big city like Las Vegas.

The worst pharmacy, every time I come in there they are all scrambling to get things done. I've been sent texts that prescriptions are filled and then I come in and nothing is done so I leave then they harass me to come pick it up after they had filled it, and tell me they will put it back if I dont come. So, I finally just moved my pharmacy to the CVS in Target up the street. If your looking for a good pharmacy that's the place to go!

Had a prescription sent here this morning after a virtual visit. The medications are not displaying on the Walgreens app so I decided to call. I called three times over an hour and no answer. My prescription was sent hours ago. I've never had this experience at another Walgreens. I had my prescription transfered to Smiths. I don't have all day to wait around.

The employees are wonderful people. That being said, the pharmacy Manager has to be one of the worst human beings I have ever met. She is disrespectful and openly nasty to both the customers and other employees. I will never go to this pharmacy again. She was incredibly nasty to me and I witnessed her mistreating the other employees.

  • Misty Barber

Literally the worst experience I have ever had. I use this pharmacy and I’ve given them 12 times to get the medicine right for myself and my husband. They will mess up every single time and they will never know what they are doing. They are the WORST. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT deal with the pharmacy. They are clueless.

COVID - Booster denied I made an appointment to get my Covid booster. The lady told me that she needed my insurance card…unfortunately I don’t have insurance right now. Slightly embarrassed, I said I would come back and left. If they had told me that I needed insurance when I made the appointment I certainly would not of gone in.

I understand that there are stores with special hours now on some days to make it easier for seniors and such to come in and shop, but when there is only literally a handful of people in the store, I don't see why a regular person or two can't be granted access as well. I'm not hating, just saying take it on a case by case basis.

Was on hold with the pharmacy for almost 40 minutes yesterday before someone picked up and then hung up right after. Decided to wait to call again today and now I’m currently on hold AGAIN for over 40 minutes again now. I highly doubt you guys are this busy. People don’t have all day to sit on the phone.

  • Edmond “EdFoolery” C

I called four times and they hung up four times, I never even got to speak to a person at the pharmacy. I drove down and waited another half hour in the drive thru to be witness to someone on their cellphone. Such unprofessional conduct from the pharmacy staff that I'm taking my prescriptions elsewhere.

  • Wade Christopher

Sat on hold three times for over 25 minutes each just for them to put me on hold then disconnect the call. Really annoying, I was just needing to take a hold off my refill and wasn’t going to drive there for that. I’m going to transfer to a different pharmacy. 75 minute waste of time, pathetic

  • Angie Abdelmonem

This branch is so over-extended that they don’t serve their clients well. Either that or they need to better streamline their process. I was on hold for more than half an hour (second call like this today), and got hung up on. Not good.

  • Rebecca Harris

Nicole in the pharmacy is the best. She made multiple phone calls to try and find the cheapest way to get me the medication I needed. She bent over backwards to do everything possible to help me, wonderful employees in this store!!

  • Diane D'Amore

I had 2 prescriptions to pick up - only 1 was ready though it was after the time they told me both would be done and after receiving notifications that they were ready. So, I will have to make another trip to the store.

  • Michele Simmons

WOW the obese young woman behind the glass was very rude when I was picking up medicine for my wife. Manager please rethink your hiring process. She was MEAN!!!
