This Walgreen’s, which we’ve been patronizing since our June, 2020 move to this area, is noticeably friendlier all-around, than the location I had shopped at prior, since 2001, at Cheyenne and Rampart. Over the years, at the Cheyenne and Rampart location I’d had primarily rude, unprofessional, and indifferent service. But it was the closest one to my house, so…. In particular, there was a pushy check-out lady who bullied me for donations literally, to whatever red-nose charity she was pushing. I’m sure she hears it all the time, but I wasn’t lying when I told her I’d pass because I had given $5 the day before. “Sure, sure, right. Ok then” she replied, sarcastically. There was the sometimes very rude, sometimes not rude but almost always incompetent and utterly inept pharmacy. Don’t even get me started. Every prescription we filled there was a problem. There was a glitch. A crossed wire. Misinformation. Lack of communication. I could convey infinite horror stories of our experiences with that pharmacy. Lastly, their current night manager is scowl-faced and mean. He neither smiles, makes eye contact, or speaks. Instead, he followed me around suspiciously because I had my reusable bags in tow, and was using them to shop. It’s the same thing I’d been doing for the last 20 years. If I used the bags to carry my purchases to the counter, bags were emptied and items paid for like clockwork. He was not kind or verbal in any way—had he simply explained that he was concerned because my shopping behavior struck him as unusual or raised flags, I would’ve smiled back and completely understood that he was a new manager who maybe has never seen me before. But there was none of that congenial customer service. I’ve been shopping there weekly for over 20 hrs and I’m treated like a shoplifter. By contrast, the manager and all employees with whom I have interacted thus far at the Lake Mead & Buffalo Walgreens are delightful. I actually feel welcome there, and appreciated, as a customer. Their demeanor does not indicate that it is a chore to answer my questions or ring me up. Hooray!

I warn u not to go to that pharmacy as they really do treat u like an addict and they call it the process to fill ur narcotics ( Sharon has the worst attitude ever and I left there feeling like a drug addict as she held my scripts for two days and finally I went back there and got my scripts back and went to Cheyenne and jones Walgreens and they said 20 minutes they will b ready but Sharon said she couldn't fill them until the next day. I can't believe Walgreens lets her work there as I have never been verbally abused by a pharmacist as she kept telling me about the process and I just had t-1 -t-6 spinal fusion three weeks ago and after two days of waiting I gave up. If u r reading this review, take my advice and run as fast as u can as she has no compassion and is pure evil as she enjoys seeing people suffer!!!! Stay away as u have been warned!!!!! I now see that Sharon has many horrible reviews and I have no idea where her compassion and courteous behavior is as she is unbelievably evil !!!!! Like I said earlier, Cheyenne and jones will fill ur scripts in 20 minutes and does not make u wait two days like Sharon and when is corporate going to figure out that she is not right in the head and enjoys making people suffer!!!!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this pharmacy has earned it. More than once they’ve said my prescription is ready, just to get there, wait in line for 40+ minutes, and be told I can’t pick it up until the next day despite being out of my ADHD meds (I went to pick it up the day I took my last pill and their reasoning was I need to be completely out — even though I technically was — and get it the next day). The worst experience by far was today. They said my prescription was ready 2 days ago. Yesterday was my last one and we went to pick it up today to avoid what happened last month. We get there and are told it’ll be ready in about an hour. My husband goes back an hour later. He waits for 30 minutes or so only to be told that they need to order it and it’ll be in IN A FEW DAYS How can they tell us 2 days ago that my prescription is ready and today that it’ll be ready in an hour? That makes ZERO sense. So now I’m out of my medicine and feeling absolutely awful today. I feel bad for people who use this poor excuse of a pharmacy and depend on prescriptions for more serious medical conditions. This pharmacy is so unreliable and unprofessional.

1. The girl that took my prescription took 45 mins to put it in and kept shaking her head while doing it so asked if there was a problem and she kept saying no but just looked lost 2. She told me 1 hour, I couldn’t get it for 6 hours! 3. Due to not being able to get my 3 yr old medication on time I ended up having to take him to the er. 4. Once it was finally ready , the hospital ordered me a breathing machine, she gave my husband the liquid for the breathing machine but didn’t give him the actual machine 5. I call and got hung up on 3 times and the last time I was put on hold for an hour b4 they hung up on me again 6. She charged my husband $74 and told him that was the charge WITH the insurance we went later that night they claimed they didn’t even have my son insurance on file lol 7. Then why was she scanning my driver license and insurance card in the 1st place? 8. When I went to get the breathing machine they didn’t have my number, e-mail nothing to pull up my prescription and had to search to actually give me the machine thanks to Olivia that had brain cells in the Night Shift but refused to give me the girls name from the morning

If I could give 0 stars I would. Literally the rudest pharmacy staff. I’ve come here for a while to fill my prescriptions and I ended going back and forth with them for days to get a rx filled then I went to pick it up they told me 10 more minutes, to which I said I’ll just wait, Christo (the guy helping me)tried to get me to go back thru the drive thru line, which had about 10 cars in it and I said no I’ll just sit there for the next 8 minutes. I told him I’d been dealing with this for like 4 days without my medication and was told it would be ready at 12.30pm (by this time it was around 4pm)he then said “I’m not dealing with this and hung up on me”. I then went inside and had to wait another hour. Mind you, The second I walked in the store I received a notification my rx was ready (ultimately being 5 minutes I would have waited if I just sat in line). The tech inside named Katherine assisted me and she was really nice. But I’m switching pharmacies cause this guy was so rude for no reason. Way to treat people in need of their medication .

Called Pharmacy to check on prescription for a member and Ryan (Female) Answered the call and when I stated I needed to check on a prescription for a member she just transferred me without saying anything. I then sat on hold for 15 minutes. when someone did answer all they said was please hold and then held again for another 10 minutes . The customer service is horrible and unprofessional. At least explain to people what you are doing transferring them . Then the phone rang again and put on hold with no response. They really need to do some training with there customer service over the phone. I understand your busy but a brief explanation does not take that long. Hope these reviews are read and someone helps to make theses changes . I like Walgreen and have never had to call and experience unprofessional-ism at its finest. Then the line rings and no one answered had to hang up after waiting for over 30 minutes.

I can’t imagine being in the position I was put on tonight at Walgreens, ever again!! I understand coming from a public workplace we have to keep our stores clean and tidy but when a costumer has an emergency and can’t take one more step without using their restrooms, I would assume they could make an exception.. keep in mind KENNY (staff male) was already done cleaning the woman’s restrooms and only needed to mop, meanwhile he was cleaning the men’s restroom. I waited about 10 mins until another (staff woman) came to ask him if I could please use the restroom, he said multiple times “NO” but she didn’t take a no for an answer after seeing it was an emergency. He was very rude and I hope the night manager takes actions for his behavior, with that being said I feel like better work people can bring this store to better and we need less staff like Kenny. Tonight, a costumer didn’t come first.

Absolutely horrible pharmacy staff. I was given a prescription for a blood clotting issue. First, they filled it incorrectly then charged it incorrectly I had to go back twice to get the price corrected/refunded. They told me I cannot get any more pills for another two weeks and I explained that I’m short because of the 14 pills they shorted me Initially. No one cares they just blamed it on my insurance saying that insurance won’t cover it . After insisting to speak to someone else (four people later), they told me that to get the 14 pills they originally shorted me I have to pay a full $50 co-pay as if I’m getting another 74 pills because of their mistake. The last woman who works there at the pharmacy was completely snotty and uncaring. Unbelievable!

Went to the drive through to pick up my prescription for something I seriously need and the lady was arguing trying to tell me my Medicaid was not acceptable and she wouldn’t take it or look at the card.. gave me no option but to pay 40$ when I get it free through Medicaid. I really wish I had gotten her name because she was totally wrong and shouldn’t be giving customers false information. I then went to the Walgreens on Durango & rampart and had 0 problems showing my card and getting it FOR FREE. Just shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. I went on 5/4/2023 around 5:30pm whoever the lady with the brown hair was U WERE NO HELP AND I HOPE YOUR HELD RESPONSIBLE !! Who knows how many other people you’ve affected by ur lack of knowledge

Walgreens needs to do better! They will purposely put you on hold misinform you and give you the worst customer service hoping you change pharmacies. They keep you on hold until you hang up and they do it purposely! The manager Noel is the most condescending and rudest of them all makes patients in need of their meds feel as if she cares less. They handle this place like it's some back alley warehouse in China . Back orders on back orders with no orders on sight! Misinformation one person tells you one thing the other something else. They said I was on a list now they say there isn't one and that I should call everyday to check and see if they received it..smh That way I can be on hold until forever so I can just hang up for them!

Worst pharmacy ever, they take your pain medicine and smile and say see you in 48 hours regardless of the time or how long it takes to fill. I have ran out before and gone into withdrawals or been unable to walk due to my back surgery and when they finally release the bottle to my wife, its dated the day before. This pharmacy is hostile and rude and treats everyone getting pain medicine like drug addicts even when you are in a wheelchair! They have a power trip and enjoy making you wait on their own schedule and then laugh at you when in the drive thru as they make up stories why your medication is delayed. I have reported them many times and no one cares. I hope someone reads this who can help. Anonymous name used for my own protection.

I returned an item that I paid for with cash, and when I was waiting for my cash, I noticed the manager having issues with the amount, I thought I’d help him out by offering to place the refund on my cash app card. Well not once did the manager tell me that it would take 2-3 days before I would get my refund l. Then to make matters worse, when I called to speak with the manager, he was not at all empathetic nor did He apologize for not telling me that there would be a waiting period of 2-3 day’s. And the worst part, when I said, “so you aren’t going to even going to apologize or at least say sorry , and he said “no” and he hung up on me!! What a terrible manager that represents Wakgreens on Buffon and lLakevMeas

This is the best WalGreens I have ever shopped at.The night shift is great. The night manager Jeff is my go-to-guy when I am shopping for things here. He is always extremely helpful and this guy always is happy. You can tell he really takes great pride in his job and really seems to care about customers. The cashier on the other hand makes me uneasy at times but I give him credit because he is an older gentlemen and looks to be in his retirement age, so I dont mind that he talks so much and tells me stories when checking me out. I think he might of been a professor in his younger days. This is the store I will always shop at for everything I need no matter what. Its a very nice atomoshere!

So I just left this particular Walgreens, I came particularly for some vitamins which are buy 1 get 1 free. Found the ones I was looking for on an and cap for $11.99! Got to the register and it scanned $21.99... I took a picture of the product and sale tag. The manager said he couldn't honor that price because its almost $10. If the sign was wrong or your workers put the wrong product in the wrong place, that's you all's mess up! That's very deceitful to the customers, especially those thinking they're getting a great deal! And the fact this manager said he doesnt have any control over 'people' putting the wrong items in the wrong places. It wasn't just 1 or 2, they were rows of them!

I came into the Walgreens looking for certain products. Everyone I met was really friendly. Above all Ms. Rey from the cosmetic department stood out beyond her helpfulness. She is a kind, caring lady. She took her time to help me locate the burts bees acne face wash, which we concluded is no longer being held/discontinued at Walgreens, she greeted me the entire time with such a warm energy. She offered to cash me out in her department and even gave me free samples of beauty products! Not only is she a great example of a customer representative, she is a great example of a human being. 5 stars all around for Ms. Rey of the cosmetic section ✨️

Big older white guy as a cashier on Sunday August 27 2023 around 1pm was incredibly rude, refused to answer any small talk, looked incredibly pissed and mad at life. I get it, not the best job in this economy but the requirement of your job is to be cordial enough, nothing is wrong with being a cashier but if you cant even put atleast 50%. Doesn’t matter what your job is but atleast be decent enough to a customer that’s only making small talk with you. Do better, WALGREENS HIRE SOMEONE ELSE FOR HIS JOB! BETTER WORKERS CAN TAKE THAT MAN’S JOB! STOP HIRING INCOMPENTENT PEOPLE. IN THIS ECONOMY YOU CAN HIRE ANYONE AND REPLACE HIM

I tried having my prescriptions delivered instead of waiting in the long lines to pick them up and that was a disaster too. They said 2-3 days for delivery and it took them 6 days to get to me and I didn't get one of them on the first order so they refilled it and I picked it up and they still charged me for both of them. Now I have another prescription lost again and I called before it was sent out and told them not to have it delivered I would pick it up and they still sent it out for delivery. They are so incompetent at this pharmacy and they never have enough help. They need to hire more people and train them properly....

I went there to buy over the counter meds and some groceries. When I’m paying, I inserted my debit card, typed my PIN number but it’s weird that the rude cashier made me type it again. I just told her in a calm way that I did it already. I just want to make sure that I won’t get double charged. Then the tone of her voice went up. When she gave me my receipt, she even told me in a rude manner, “here, you did it already “… I felt so bad, I left wondering why she’s so rude even I God knows I was never mad at her and talking with her calmly. She’s like she’s full of hate in her heart.

Believe the other reviews. This pharmacy is the absolute WORST!!! Never calls you when your prescription is filled. Also does not notify if they no longer carry your preferred brand, will try to give you a generic. You have to check your bag everytime and catch them! This happened to me after I waited over a week because the idiot pharmacist said they could order my brand in. Came back to pick up, the next guy says they are unable to order it in. Really?! And you couldnt call and tell me that?! This pharmacy is run by a band of merry idiots!!! I will NEVER return.

I have several chronic conditions resulting in chronic pain 24 hrs a day. There is no cure just pain medication to help you through the pain. The only thing worse is being judged and treated like a drug addict at your local Walgreens. I'm 63, have raised a family by myself and try to treat others like I would like to be treated. OMG, what a glitchy, clunky membership system there, with staff who were unwilling to assist us! In spite of being a member, the card on our phone wouldn't read; and yet, the counter guy made us feel like we were on our own, on that one. Why was he like that, toward us??!! Feeling the weight of the pressure to move the line, we resigned to pay full price for our purchases with ZERO assistance. The counter guy just didn't seem to care. Thanks for nothing!

Insane. The lines are always a mile long. Always. What’s up with that? If you plan on picking up a prescription, take a vacation day because you’re going to need it. Better yet, go through the drive through because they seem to prioritize the lazy people over the customers that actually find the energy to come into the store. Also, they spend more time trying to figure out how to deny your prescription than actually filling it. Absolutely insane.

Customer service and honesty is sadly missing at this Walgreen pharmacy. It's been written about before in reviews. They would be my last resort for any prescription medications. They treat you like they know more than your doctor. Unfortunately, I left the Rampart/Cheyenne location years ago, due to poor customer service. Do yourself a favor and in the process reduce your stress and anxiety levels and deal with another pharmacy.

Tweet was The only person to help me today I was losing hole as I started again and infection in my mouth from dental surgery and my insurance stop covering all my medication so as I started to live in pain and not be able to pay for my meds days became harder. Tweet went out of her way today to make sure that I can have my meds and not walk around with a major infection in my mouth , god bless this woman!!!!

Have waited twice in line today.... Pharmacy only finished two of three prescrtions that Dr phoned in.... Pharmacy tech overwhelmed and most likely new..... Called Mgr and said they had call outs and were understaffed.... I asked her if she could possibly get the pharmacy tech just a little help..... She said she really didn't have staff to help but would try...... Just don't think this is a good idea

They're doing a great job. I've noticed long lines - but it can't be helped because the station is packed full. Management Dept Suggestion: offer a small discount at off hours. Just put a sign out.

The big plus here is a 24 hour pharmacy. If they staffed this location properly I would give 5 stars. Right now lots of candy for the holiday. Good prices, friendly staff. Just not enough staff. My mother, her doctor's office, and health insurance have called numerous times today and this past regarding the status of a prescription. The prescription has been sent multiple times and it still is not in their system. The employees "answer" the phone only to immediately hang up. We have been unable to get a response from them, completely unprofessional and horrible customer service.

Unacceptable the estimate time for pick up was 4:30 pm. I sent someone at the store for pick up cause I have Covid and I need my medication and they said tomorrow. I haven’t ordered gum. Pharmacy is awful. Very nice staff, they just can’t get anything done in a timely manner. If they are THAT busy, perhaps Walgreens should consider hiring additional staff. Current prescription is 26 hours late. Last time they were 4 days late for a simple inhaler. They must be the most poorly stocked pharmacy in Las Vegas. If your prescription is vital, consider another pharmacy

My doctor called in a prescription and they gave me the wrong drug strength. My doctor corrected the prescription drug strength. My wife received a phone call that my prescription was ready. When I came in to pick up the prescription, I was told the drug was not yet available. I was not even given the courtesy of an explanation. I'm transferring my prescription to Smith's.

Worst experience I've ever been through while sick.Trying to get my prescriptions delivered held on phone twice for a 1/2 hour disconnected told my order wasn't in soon enough for delivery, Told my order was picked up for delivery!!!! Worst service. Never got my prescription till the next day that was the worst experience being hung up on disconnected horrible horrible!

Prescription didn't get filled. I called to find out why and was left on hold 39 minutes. 10 of which the phone was set down and I could hear them chatting with eachother and talking to other customers. Rude when finally got a person. I understand being short staffed and busy, however, there is no way after listening to them chat that they had no time for my call.

Dropped off a prescription at 9pm. They told me, it'd be ready in 2-3hrs. Yet I was the only person at the pharmacy. Couldn't believe, it'd take that long. I was in excruciating pain, as well. This location, I was told will not be open 24hrs for the (pharmacy). I can't recall the day, the hours changed for the pharmacy. The location, I had no issues with.

Went for health care clinic. I was in the phone with insurance company and this doctor( didn't have the ID in his jacket ) came and snatched the phone from my hand and started to talk to insurance and said I see his insurance we don't accept it here. Very rude and very unprofessional. Disgrace for the Walgreens and disgrace for all other great doctor's.

Horrible time getting the pharmacy on the phone. I live 5 miles away and it was faster for me to drive there than wait on hold. Was hung up on while on hold multiple times. Called in the afternoon and they said they would fill my prescription. Drove there that evening 7+ hours later and it wasn't filled. Constantly out of stock of my meds. Unapologetic.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I’ve been on hold now 48 minutes and counting. These employees “answer” the phone and put you on hold again. I’m simply trying get an insurance authorization completed so I can get some meds and feel better. It’s terrible these employees treat people like this. I wish there was a zero star.

Wow everything has gotten bad at the pharmacy. Unable to fill prescriptions period. let alone in a timely manner. It's a good thing we didnt need any life saving medicine. Cause we'd be dead. Seriously. And take caution when talking to customer service. Their rude. I felt like a burden for calling about the prescriptions.

They need more staff in the photo department desperately. Called for assistance waited 15 minutes to no avail this was not the first time I've waited to pick up photos and no one showed up.... Will not be printing photos there anymore I get better service at Washington and rancho when it comes to photos....

Extremely inefficient staff that doesn’t properly address client’s need with a sense of urgency. Waiting in line takes longer than the DMV, both in the drive tru and the store, late orders, failure to fulfill refills with forgetful workers and people with nasty attitudes not ready to amend mistakes.

I am leaving this establishment a 5 star review only because of Joan. She went out of her away to help me find what I needed even though the store was short staffed. She was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Joan is an exceptional employee and a wonderful addition to the Walgreens staff.

Picking up your prescription between the hours of midnight and 0400 seems to be the only time you won’t experience an absurd wait. Not to mention receiving alerts your RX is ready and turns out it’s not. Then asking you to come back and jump in line for another hour or two, kinda laughable.

Waited 40 mins in line and there was only 3 cars ahead of me in both drive thru lines. Too long of a wait. Another time Call center connected me to store for a question I had and the store picked up about 10 times and kept putting me back on hold without saying anything. Just ridiculous !!

I'm waiting for a vaccine, after 1 hour later they said my vaccine needs to be defrosted. Why they didn't defrosted when I was here waiting, they knew I was here all the time when I checked in. It wasn't a walk in, I made an appointment a few weeks in advance. I won't come back here.

Went for COVID-19 booster shot, had an appointment at 2:15. I was twait. I was told to sit and wait . After 1 hour I was never checked in for my shot. I left and rescheduled at another location. Very unprofessional experience our youth doesn't care about their jobs today.

Express service at the pharmacy is not so fast. It also is totally unfair to the customers waiting on line. Especially if you only have 1 clerk serving the line inside. Need to revaluate the express service option. Obviously not enough people are using it.

The pharmacy at Walgreens night staff is rude. I brought my daughter in for her second covid shot and was told by the female that she needed to have insurance, which isn’t true. When I mentioned to her that it was not mandatory, she walked away.

I don't ever write reviews but this pharmacy is the worst to get your prescriptions filled at. I keep trying to tell them they are filling my old prescription and each time they transfer me to a "pharmacist" but the call disconnects everytime.

I had an appointment at this Walgreens for a vaccination at 9:30 they were set as 5 minute time slots. But even after showing up 10 minutes early I have been waiting for a 5 minute procedure for almost an hour. Terrible service

Bought a organic nutrition shake, opened it, saw some pulp in ther. Thought thats how it should be. Had a gulp and didnt really like the taste. Checked the best before and wow, best before 20NOV2016... i wish i can add pics

ALEX is very kind and helpful. After a bad experience with another employee, Alex managed to brighten my mood while assisting me with taking my passport photo. Alex is a good person and a hard worker, he will go far.

Most of the time is a great experience to shop there. Photo however needs to call people when there order is ready to be picked up. Also pharmacy needs to let patient know that their prescription is actually ready.

I really wish they would hire more ppl or better ppl in the pharmacy. Everytime i go to pickup a script the line is wrapped around the building. They tell you 2 hrs for pickup you better make it the next day.. smh.

The pharmacy is awful. I’ve had so many issues with this place it’s crazy. Every time I come to pick up my medicine, no matter what time and day I’m waiting at least 30 minutes. This is ridiculous. Hire more staff!

How does the pharmacy take this long?!? Inside or out. Doesn’t matter which one you choose. An unbelievable amount of time. You will always find a huge line. Worst place to pick up meds if in pain.

Long wait at drive thru lines; drive thru should only be be for express pick up meds and drop off meds only; ppl with list of questions should go inside the pharmacy.

This is the worst Walgreens pharmacy ever. The wait times are outrageous. They send auto messages telling you the RX is ready when it’s not.
