We engaged Toplock for a simple task of replacing a seized security screen door lock. After completing that job as requested, we sought their technicians advise on two additional door security related matters in our house, we had not recalled at the time of making our service call. The technician offered us good advice on how best to resolve those two problems and gave us a verbal quote on costs involved to complete the work including parts. After accepting the quote we asked the technician to proceed with the extra jobs. One of the jobs proved to be much more difficult than anticipated, mainly caused by a faulty lock mechanism that required the technician to come back the next day with a replacement. To ensure he was able to fix the job successfully that time around, he returned with another technician on theirs to make use of his experience in that type of job. Again, the job threw up some extra challenges that they were able to overcome, but blew out their time estimate even further, I am sure. When it came time to pay for the 3 jobs completed to what I think was a high standard, I was asked to pay only what we had agreed verbally. It took me back to what some say were the good old days, where a persons word was their bond! Well done Toplock! Keep up the great work and the honorable way in which you relate to your customers. Had an urgent job that needed to be done at work for the door on our storefront, I called up and spoke to Veronica who was super helpful and organised a free inspection and quote for me. Within half an hour Shaun (I believe his name was) rocked up and told us exactly what we'd need and got a new bolt sorted out and installed no fuss. Quick, simple and a decent price too. My partner and I had a great experience with these guys! Over the weekend my partner and I experienced a break and enter and had both sets of house keys, garage remotes, and car keys taken. We needed a secure front door that didn't require a key, so bought a Digital PIN unit. Our installer, Sean, also supplied and fitted a dummy internal handle and a blanking cover to conceal the separate old deadlock hole. It looks great and the service was first rate.
