makes sense to me why this branch has such a low score!! i’ve never left a google review before, and probably never will again but i just have to let this out somewhere!! i went in to this branch today after NEEDING and not having a debit card for a week. I waited in line for so long that by the time someone came to help they closed in ten minutes. She was CLEARLY unhappy to be serving anyone close to closing and told me she could not get me a new debit card without three pieces of government ID. which i thought wasn’t true because i’ve had debit cards replaced in the past, but then assumed she was right and i’ve just gotten off lucky, so i left without any argument (even though she was EXTREMELY rude) just to learn afterwards that that is NOT needed and you can order one over the phone or in person just answering some security questions which she told me she wouldn’t do and rushed me off. the branch is closed from the 28-3rd and now i won’t have a debit card for another week, i wish i got her name but an older blonde lady with curly hair and glasses.. obviously having access to my bank is important so i’m super irritated !!!

Not a bank that is loyal to the customer I made a Visa debt purchase and got an email confirmation saying it came off card. After the holidays apparently it didn't and tried to go through my account directly three days later when I didn't have money on the card causing a 48 dollar NSF fee on a 24 dollar change!!!! I have heard of 25 but 48 is crazy I tried to get them to retract the NSF fee as I've only had one in the over 10 years of banking with them. After getting nowhere on the online service I decided to phone the branch I've been to and used for over 10 years to get told that kind of stuff don't matter that they will have to charge me for the NSF. Wow because it happened once before I getting charged 48 dollars on a 24 dollar amount? Truly I don't see how a company can change so much and do this expecially when I have a letter explaining the charges came off the wrong way and PayPal asking for them to wave the NSF. I will be changing bank service's thank you for the poor customer service I'm glad I stayed loyal to you for so long you can have your 48 dollars.

Worst TD experience ever. I have been a TD client for over 20 years. Went to this branch last Thursday to get a bank draft. When I arrived there was two employees waiting in the entry way and we were joined by a 3rd and another customer. The employees were finally let in at 9:05 and we were told we were to still wait until 9:08 a.m. This was bad enough since they were supposed to open at 9:00. I went to the teller to get my draft which was only a couple of minutes at best, but he needed a manager signature. After waiting at least 5-6 minutes he physically had to track her down. She casually followed him out with her purse/bag and coffee in hand which appeared to me that we interrupted her morning leisure. It took less than a minute to finish thereafter once she signed the draft. No apology for the ridiculous opening, not too mention her additional delay caused to me. Finally left there at 9:19/9:20 to head to Ottawa 15 minutes later than I should have.

If you are a small business owner, do not deal with this branch. They do not support small business and small business owners, they WILL give you a hard time, They WILL NOT assist you with small business loans, and the Employees DO NOT pass on messages. IF YOU ARE A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BRANCH!!!!! Example being that I had a large HST refund, the cheque had my corporate number on it with my parent company name not my subsidiary company name, they were refusing to deposit it and accusing me that this was not to me, it was made out to someone else, they should have deposited it because it had my corporate number on it anyways. THEY ALMOST LOST ME A 10,000 JOB, AND ALMOST GAVE ME A BAD REP WITH MY SUPPLIERS. The best branch of the TD would be the one at the Kingston Centre, they support small business.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My father tried to open a account and for 2 days has been denied because they can't find a rep to help him with his request....lastnight at 7pm 1 hour before the bank closes no one can help thwn again this morning at 8am still the same thing. I left TD because of the same reasons no service how can you bank with a bank that won't serve you...the sad part is this is so he could deposit a cheque...You will never get my money after this lack of care, I'd rather waste 20 and goto money mart or the cash store at least they are willing to help...Sad what the banks are comming to...raise there fees yet when you require help no one can

My only problem with the TD branches in Kingston is that they all provide such great service that I can't decide which one I should go to. I had a couple of issues with my online accounts due to my misreading the fine print. Courtney Feeny, the assistant branch manager, was extremely helpful and kind. She provided incredible customer service, explaining the issue to me, and reimbursing me for the mistakes that were completely my responsibility. She is embodies the service that has kept me a TD customer for 20+ years.

Employees recognize both myself and my mother, making for a cheery little welcoming. The teller helped fix my issue of online fraud with no stress and helped me further prevent the issue from happening again. Was very knowledgeable there. Also, told me about extra fees that I was paying for that I didn't need to, so she also cancelled those for me. I also took a student loan from this branch and it was very easy and stress fee. Easy to get an appointment and get in contact when I had a question/concern.

2021 Update: Shocked at the reviews, something doesn't add up so let's see if we can align people with some good representatives at this branch. If you are doing banking or have questions, ask for Jodi she is truly incredible. If you are looking for a mortgage, ask for Lori she is an excellent asset to your team. Both will take good care of you! ------ Excellent service; will arrange after hour appointments if needed. Changed branch location specifically from the service.

Jodi is the best! Very friendly and helpful! Lines can be very long but likely because most people bank online and those who go into the bank require signifiantly more assistance. Since covid, there are long lines outside but the staff are working very diligently and their new procedures have, in my experience, actually reduced wait time. Staff are actively directing visitors now and ensuring they are helped as quick as humanely possible.

Was fortunate to call and deal with Shannon @ the Gardiners Rd. branch - she was very professional, informative, pleasant and extremely helpful. Very refreshing since my previous calls to the TD Easy web line and trying to obtain the same help from 2 separate individuals that had obvious difficulty speaking and understanding English - how painfully frustrating! I wish to talk to someone and I don’t want to do it online is it possible that you aren’t answering your calls cause I went through different ways on the new “really bad” voicemail guy. I had to pay a fee on my monthly bank account and I had to pay because I couldn’t reach anyone at the bank on Gardiners riocan. And I can’t do it online because I need my money back in cash. And closing my bank account.

Really lost for words. People working at counters that have no limit to deposit a cheque or cash. 2 min deposit into 25 min wait. Manager wouldn't allow me to deposit a cheque made out in my name and my companies name. Passed the code and still had to show ID 2 times, and explain why I was given a cheque from my insurance company.. then while at the counter I used my phone and made my deposit.

Terrible service all around. People at the branches can't do a single thing for you because everything is done over the phone.. Then you'll sit on hold for 4 hours only to get hung up on 3 times without ever reaching a human. According to td if you wait to long the system thinks their closed and hangs up.

More than disappointed with this branch and I gave them multiple chances. Been trying to get a mortgage through them on multiple occasions, total lack of responses from their mortgage specialist. Went through a broker and ironically got me a TD mortgage but at least they got the deal done in no time.

Terrible, went to open an account was met with rudeness and was told I needed an appointment which was expected, I was then told there were no appointments available in Kingston at any branchs until the following week, that was after waiting while being ignored by employees!

I watched someone come out of their office, straighten folders in a display rack, then walk away; while a long line of customers waited..... I spoke up loudly while in line - the staff just looked like deer in the headlights.... How about all hands on deck??

First, I spent an hour on the phone with their customer service, only for the person to hang up on me. No one at front desk, 15 minutes to see teller, only to be told to use their app for transferring rewards. Worse than a 3rd world bank.

I go to this branch all the time. Staff are friendly and helpful. I've always been greeted with a warm welcome, in fact some of the tellers even know me by name! As far as my daily banking goes I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

We've used this bank for business since 2009. Not once have we had an experience with a "rude" associate. In fact, even when we were the victims of fraud, they were helpful and responsive. I recommend this branch and this bank.

I was in distress, after a robbery on daylight,this Saturday and around 340pm got to the bank, entire staff at the time was super helpful and accommodated my needs with most compassionate way.

The ts branches in Kingston are the slowest I have ever encountered anywhere. People sitting at their desks while long lines don't move. A serious shake up is needed at all of them.

Do yourself a favour and choose any other branch or bank in town. Staff is consistently rude and unhelpful. Management is no better. Doing deposits is an absolute nightmare here.
