I do not bank here, but my wife does for the company for which she works. The bank seems to be chronically understaffed, and wait times are too long as a result. Since this branch is close to my wife's place of employment she generally stops here first, but almost always gives up and goes to the Gardiners Road branch. This branch seems more responsive to conditions and puts more tellers on as required to keep wait times down.
I will never bank with this branch and have not planned to bank with CIBC simply because of their poor service. I was ill and need to use their bathroom because I was about to vomit and they turned me away stating bathrooms are for employees only. Really? So if I was a client I’d have no way to use the restroom? Thankfully Wing Central was accommodating. And now they have a customer for life.
After the closing of the Bagot and Brock branch to teller transactions, I had to go to the Bath Rd branch at noon today. With a lineup of 8-10 customers there was only one teller doing his best to provide pleasant customer service to some plainly exasperated people. This is completely unacceptable service and far different from what I have previously experienced from CIBC.
I have been treated by staff with courtesy and valuable customer each time I go to this branch. Kudos to them. But what frustrates me is the number of tellers they have everytime. 2 tellers and more than 10 customers in line waiting for them. I think the management is doing this to increase online banking by posting off the customers. Hate it.
This location needs a bit of a refresh. And a good cleaning. The door handle was so visibly filthy I didn’t even wanted to open it. The ATM was also very dirty and sandy and part of it was actually broken. But I got my money out so that’s the main thing you want your bank to do for you! Right?! Just bring hand sanitizer with you.
Open to control your money and take your monthly payments. Make no effort to help clients and make banking is easier treated like a number and turned away unless you’re giving them money. refuses to lift holes on paychecks. And refuses to give help to increase limit deposit.
This employee treated me terribly, refused to answer my questions and even after seeing a manager who assured me there would be no problems going forward felt she and her window don’t have to do what a manager said. She’s racist and difficult and extremely disrespectful
I love this location for the drive through ATM, has become very handy this last year. Customer service is slow, however the agents are slower usually because they are addressing all your issues. would be nice to see more tellers open when the lineup is long.
A word of warning to friends who need to use the desk: it is a long wait at this branch due to understaffing. I don’t blame the front line staff at all, they are all angels. I just wish the manager would hire more than one person to watch their six tills.
Wait, what? I went to a teller today to take out cash. I went to the teller instead of the ATM because I needed an odd amount. Anyway, the teller says they've started a "new thing" and she says she needs to send me a text message to verify
Miserable staff who hate their job and it shows. Nobody is capable of answering phones, a d even a Line up of 3 people somehow swamps entire bank. They are incapable of dealing with customers in a fair and timely manner, do not bother
Nice staff but seriously slowest customer service I've ever seen. 45 minutes and it wasn't even busy. I will never come to this bank again. The one on Gardiner is way faster. That bank is where I will be taking my business from now on!
They don't answer the phone or reach back to you after leaving a message. So it's difficult to make an appointment or let them know they sent you the wrong documents. And if you just go there be ready for a long wait in the line.
Every time I go to this bank, no matter what time of day it is, it is always extremely busy. The line up is very slow and they only ever have two tellers open. Considering switching banks due to how I conviennet this is.
Very disappointed in CIBC and this branch. They made me jump through hoops, changed their minds about policy along the way, and at the end of they day the branch manager wouldn’t even meet with me. 0/10.
Overall, I'm happy with the staff and have been treated very well. My only issue is the extremely slow lines. They need to hire more staff. 7 kiosks to serve customers and usually only 2 working.
We had great experience at this Branch. All though we went with one concern, we were able to complete all our banking work at this branch. All thanks to Sheryl and her excellent client service.
Cant access bank machines inside after hours. What is the point of bank machines if you cant use them Huge fees for even less service which is do it yourself that you cant access.

As you walk in, the right door is open. As you walk out the right door is closed. I walked into it!!!!! NO SIGN SAYS USE OTHER DOOR PLEASE. PUT UP A SIGN. IT REALLY HURT.
Have to go into the bank to make appointment which then won't event be done properly. Also good luck getting someone to answer the damned phone at this location.
Change your automatic voicemails when you decide to close the branch. I took the time to call to make sure your opened and when I got their it was closed.
Very friendly staff but there are always big lines. Likewise, on thursday evening there were only 2 employees. I suggest to schedule more employees.
I will close my account with CIBC very soon and very bad service and they don't take care about their customers …

My work schedule makes it impossible to visit the bank during their open hours stay open till 6 one day of the week or something.
