Someone, please enlighten this branch the purpose of having ATM machines. Every other branch around them has their ATM machines open 24/7, while this branch for some special reason closes all 3 at 10pm. I am paying outrageous monthly services, for the convenient use of these machines, and to top it all; I now have to pay $3.00 in service charge for using other ATMs. I won't hold my breath for any improvements, after all, It is a "Bank" and as such, much less concerned with customer reviews. Their lack of response to any of the reviews here is a testament to the ignorance of their clients needs.
Today marks the third time that I have gone to this bank, they have given me inaccurate information and I've had to go to the Scotiabank at 107 Princess to have them help me instead. Today, the teller told me that I cannot make any wire transfers to any accounts that are not Scotiabank accounts, which is entirely inaccurate. She told me my only options were cash or bank draft. I am repeatedly astounded by the lack of training that the tellers at this specific branch have received. I will be going to the 107 location exclusively moving forward.
Avoid this branch if at all possible! A woman named Anastasia Mikalutskaya-Hillier works there and she is outrageously rude and lied about being the manager when I went in for assistance this morning. She is a liar and refused to give me MY MONEY from account. Absolutely disgusting behavior. I am closing my accounts with ScotiaBank immediately as I will not entrust my finances with an institution who employs rude, lying, and unstable people such as Ms. Mikalutskaya.
Someone I know had late fees on their card when the bank are the ones who post to take the money out. Then they went to the bank to see why there getting late fees they didn't get any help from the advisor. All they said this wouldn't happen again, a few months later it happens again then the bank calls and demands $2000. All I know when someone says this wouldn't happen again it's not the customer fault. I was there with them
Bella and Anastasia are two bank tellers here that have refused to help my just because my age majority card has my old address . They been doing this to me for a year. I usually have to go to 101 princess st Scotia and they also think its wrong for them to treat me this way its customer neglect. Definitely better service at the downtown scotia. I also went to manage ment but of course the customer gets the blame.
Twice now I have went to this branch and received the rudest customer service I have ever experienced at a bank. I will absolutely never go to this branch (863 Princess St.) again. Either the morale at there is extremely low, or they hire miserable tellers. Either way I think Scotiabank higher ups should look into why they are so rude and unhappy.
Scotiabank is the worst bank I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Very costly and biased against the poor, made me feel very insignificant and non existent so much so that I feel it affected the customer service I received from most of the staff (I must acknowledge that there was a couple who made me feel good).
Although I do not have a teller based review, I do have to say they were my first ATM where I could choose the bills that it dispenses. Unfortunately I do not like that I can not access the ATM after 10pm everyday. This is extremely inconvenient.
When I was a scotiabank client I never had any negative experiences, even had them protect me against fraud on one occasion when my card was stolen without me noticing. Staff were always pleasant and willing to help in any way possible.
Call centre Danny Ballen is horrible at his job. Customer service is not his forte. Scotia bank has also screwed up in many ways for me and am looking to moving my money elsewhere
