"Lovely stadium and if your team win you will have a double satisfaction The Aviva Stadium is a sports stadium located in Dublin, Ireland"
Watched Ireland play France Monday 27th March 2023. We lose 0-1 :-(. This is a lovely modern stadium. Seats circa 50,000 supporters and has an amazing atmosphere when the Green army are in full swing as was the case this night. The stadium is only circa 2km from Stephen's Green in Dublin's city centre so very walkable. You can actually plan your walk via Google maps and it will let you know how busy each pub is on the way which is class. The stadium has great views of the pitch all round and the entry and exit is very painless. Most modern stadiums are like this now days so all good. The concourse areas where the bars and food outlets are spacious but obviously will be very packed at half time. Great stadium where the atmosphere envelopes you, well worth a trip if you get a chance.
The venue itself is good. There are plenty of toilets. There are plenty of bars but they don't seem to have ice, even before the game. The food was disgusting. €5 for a wee pot of chips and they were inedible. There were no condiments for the chips as well. We queued for 20 full minutes. Doesn't seem to be well organised. There seemed to be little interest in restocking the shops. There was no water at half time. There was tea or coffee but no milk. Would strongly recommend you bring your own food and drink. The yellow vests were keen to show their authority.
Ah what a stadium. Great atmosphere here on match day. It starts to build as you approach the stadium passing all the local watering holes along the way. Plenty of food and drink available inside the stadium and I think you have an unobstructive view of the pitch from most of the seats. I have never sat up at the very top row so I cant say what the view is like from up there. Always plenty of staff to show you to your seat and for such a big crowd they can empty it very quickly and even outside they keep it moving. Go on get in there and see for yourself.
Aviva stadium - best place to watch football. With over 60000 capacity, the facilities such as toilets, food, drinks, parking are well maintained and made easily accessible. The wheelchair accessibility deserves a special mention. One down point is that they don’t allow alcohol into the bowl. Also, the first few rows in the role has no head cover and really irritating when it rains. The seat numbers, row labels are significant and well accompanied by staff. The cleaning staff are always on their toes to serve their best. Overall, it’s a great experience.
Lovely stadium and if your team win you will have a double satisfaction The Aviva Stadium is a sports stadium located in Dublin, Ireland. It is primarily used for rugby and soccer matches and has a seating capacity of around 51,700. The stadium replaced the old Lansdowne Road stadium and opened in 2010. It's a significant venue for sports events and concerts in Ireland. Is there something specific you'd like to know about the Aviva Stadium?
This is a great place to watch a game. The staff was very nice at the gate and at the concessions. The seats were very comfortable, and the stadium was spotless. The only two drawbacks were there were no cup holders at the seat and that there isn't any parking. DART was easy but crowded going and out. It is a fun walk to the stadium though with plenty of pubs to stop in before and after the match if you choose to get there that way.
Visited for a world cup warm up match between England and Ireland. Pretty dire result for England but the crowd was great (far better, and cheaper, than Twickenham) and although our seats were virtually at the top of the stadium we had a really good view of the pitch. Easy to get to from the city centre using the Dart and easy to get into the stadium. The queues for drinks were very long but moved fairly easily.
Beautiful stadium modern facilities Easy to reach with the dart train Line for the food and drinks moves relatively fast The screens, though, are smallish. Leaving the stadium, though very organized, still has major congestion problems much less on the dart more in the transport with in the city centre. Finding the correct seat seemed to be a bit of a challenge even though it shouldn't be so complicated.
It's a great stadium. It's situated in a great location, plenty of public transport accommodating travel here. It's also an easy walk into the city centre. There are bar facilities here, some of which are card-only. No smoking permitted anywhere in the stadium. The staff and stewards are all very pleasant and approachable. There are lifts (elevators) for those with limited mobility.
Lovely stadium, easy to access seats and move about. Toilet facilities are good and the queue moves quickly. Didn't try the food but the portions looked good, from people that came by. Parking was OK for us, we had on street parking. Not too sure where to park other than in street. Stewarding was good, stewards were in good humour and good police presence around the stadium.
Easiest stadium to get to by DART. Modern and well laid out. There are plenty of bathrooms and bars across all levels. Wheelchair accessible on different levels, too. Most seats are covered. However, the lower levels closest to the pitch are uncovered, including the North stand. Stadium staff for all events are friendly, polite, and helpful.
Security guard had best view in the stadium. Stood there for the entire game I was back at the ground for another game and security guards were standing in the same spot. Service at half time so slow then not allowed beer to your seat for soccer ( rugby is fine ). Great facility with great access from the North of Ireland.
Went twice to watch a Rugby and Football match here. While, I haven’t been to a lot of stadiums to compare it to but I loved how convenient it is to get in and out of it regardless of the number of spectators (50,000+ attendance) inside. Both the times, I was sitting in different places but got a very good unobstructed view!
Great venue, especially for rugby Well managed crowd control with quick processing for food and drink. Lots of transport links, again well marshaled. Great atmosphere and possibility for very close seating to the pitch area. Large capacity and comfortable enough seats. Be sure to wrap up warm in the winter.
Easy to get into and out of, stewards were well organised. It is a pity that there is no official parking nearby, why can't somewhere like the RDS be used? Better than on street parking. Impossible to see when people out to stand up in the front, seats are provided so be respectful to others behind you
Premium level hasn't enough food outlets to cope with the crowds at half time. It shouldn't be like this when you pay extra for your tickets. Not worth the cue. Guinness stand is ample size for serving the crowds. Delighted to have a stadium all the same, that can deliver matches at the highest level.
As far as stadiums go this experience was great. Going for a football International friendly yet the atmosphere around and in the stadium felt like it was a game of greater significance. Need to allow about 30 minutes to find the right gate and to get through all the checks. So make the time for that.
A decent stadium but the service at the refreshment kiosks is extremely poor. Ten staff standing waiting on 1 tap with queues of hundreds waiting to be served. Extremely poor but not unexpected unfortunately. Missed the start of the second half and two goals due to waiting in this non moving queue.
Season ticket holder for the Boys in Green. It is simply a great place to watch football. Easy to get to and great build up atmosphere before. Nice places for a pint around on the way home. One complaint - food is terrible and can be a long wait to get a pint, never enough bar staff, it seems.
Great view one can observe even from the top seat. The management and the security were fabulous. Every time you travel there, they will handle the crowd and the security properly with providing detailed information about the seats and the blocks. The food was delicious inside the stadium.
Great day had here at recent match. Shame the food and drink is prohibitively expensive and that they are criminally under facilitated with toilets and helpful staff were few and far between... but other than that it was great. And somehow sitting in top tier, we got wet when it rained.
Great facility. However, building operations and food service absolutely sucks. They are clearly ill prepared for an actual full stadium evening event. Out of food before the first half is even over. The food service company should be fired. And they really aren't even bother about it.
Have simply never had a bad experience here, even when Ireland lost narrowly to the All Blacks. Have used it for corporate gigs and attended many rugby matches here, international and inter provincial. A great modern facility and out in front of many away stadiums I have travelled to.
Great venue, especially for football watched the ireland vs northern ireland women's match Well managed crowd control with quick processing for food and drink. Lots of transport links, again well marshaled. Great atmosphere and possibility for very close seating to the pitch area.
Grand stadium. Very easy to get in & out of. Stewards were plentiful & very helpful. Only gripe was that we had seats at the front near the tryline & there was a camera operator standing right in front of us all game which made it a bit awkward to see some parts of the game.
I've been here before for concerts, soccer & most recently the rugby when Ireland played against Italy. We were behind the goal & it was an impressive view & and a great atmosphere. I will be back next year & I will get tickets to both warm-up games at the Avivia stadium.
Attended the Notre Dame / Navy game (2023) at this stadium. Very nice stadium, good seats and bathroom facilities. Food stands had good selection. (Did you know cotton candy is called “candy floss” in Ireland?) The display screens are rather small.
Aviva Stadium is so beautiful! We went for the Ireland v England friendly. It was easy to find our seats and lots of options for beer. I only wish they sold merchandise as we were hoping to have a souvenir from our baby's first rugby match!
A truly fantastic stadium. An interesting fact the IRFU own 8/10 house on the road behind the small stand, the owners would not sell so they had to respect that and made a small stand which I find makes this stadium truly unique.
Great venue for a big match experience, even when Munster come out on top . Great match, great day out had by all. And Munster went on to beat the Stormers in the Final down in South Africa. Making the country proud ☘️☘️ ☘️ …
First time at the stadium to watch Ulster take on Lienster, fantastic stadium, very well kept and easy to navigate. Pity Ulster didn't win Fast food outlets are well run and the food tastes great considering it is fast food!
Awesome stadium with overhead covering so fans do not get wet in typical Dublin rain. The VIP box was very nice. The playing field is real grass and made for multi-types of sporting events. Very nice - try to catch a game there.
Went to watch Bohs and Pats in the FAI cup final today unfortunately it didn't go our way but the atmosphere was great. The pitch and the stadium looked great the everything was well organised hopefully we will be back soon.
The ease with which you can access and egress is amazing. The food hall is excellent and, again, easy to access. Providing you go at half-time. The washroom facilities are plentiful, and I have never had to queue for more
Great place to watch American football or, I suppose, European football (we were there for the Notre Dame v. Navy game}. A lot of covered seating and great access to food and beverage. Curry fries were mind blowing.
Great set up, and superb help in finding our seating area. Lots of food and drinks options in the stadium. Wonderful atmosphere in the stadium, great seating positions.. Will go again for a show or match anytime
First time at the Aviva, great stadium and easy to find seats. The view from a higher tier was great, thought we wouldn't see much but I get the impression that you would have a good view from wherever.
Fantastic night at the Aviva for The Relay of Life, run by the ICS and attended by its Ambassador, Shane Filan of Westlife. A very emotional night with lots of positive and hopeful vibes in the arena!
One bald man steward was very rude and made trouble for some fans who weee just singing at half time. Alcoholic drinks are well priced but the selection is poor! Food is ok, eat before going!
Being able to watch Notre Dame football in this iconic stadium was an amazing experience! Great stadium, doesn't look to be a bad seat in the house. Most seats not exposed to the elements.
Manchester United V Athletic Club Bilbao Great staff. Brilliantly sign posted. Good view from Upper West Stand block 522. No cash accepted at the stadium. Food and drinks over priced imo.
Absolute rip off. I bought 2 pints of Guinness and 4 soft drinks. They charged 27 euros, then as I walked back to watch the match, security wouldn't allow me bring alcohol to my seat!
One of the best stadiums in Europe. A great place to watch sports. The view is great wherever you are seating. Easy to get to with the train and loads of bars and restaurants around.
Not a bad seat in the house!!! Not a big fan of heights, and our seats were kinda high up. Didn't really notice by the way they had the layout to getting to your seats. Nice stadium!
Food and drinks are expensive. The seating is comfortable with good leg space. Be aware that if you are seated near the pitch, there is no roofing to protect you from the elements.
Have a season ticket there for past two years. Great stadium. Doesn't seem to be any real bad seat in it. Does lack a bit of atmosphere at times but when it's good it's very good
Superb stadium, only disappointment was they ran out of curry at the Leinster Ulster match. Have been here for concerts and matches. Great public transport, great parking.
Brilliant atmosphere here, this particular game I went to see was a little flat, but still enjoyed it. The stairs to the upper tiers would kill yah. Love this place.
Great atmosphere & St Pats result. Original seats not good as obstructed by wheelchair area but we got moved as my grandson could only see half the pitch.
Excellent, and a great win for Leinster , The seating was great see the whole play of the game, spotless clean , toilets clean very enjoyable experience,
Watched an Ireland friendly, it was fine, but at about 1/3 capacity and still waited 10 mins for a half time drink & snack. Can't imagine if it was full.
Watched the Notre Dame vs Navy American college football. Great place. Clean and everyone was beyond helpful. Great walk from downtown temple bar area.
Nice sized and easily accessible stadium that has a great atmosphere. Characteristic build style and walking distance to city center and Docklands.
I went to watch a rugby match for the first time, it was amazing. The Aviva stadium is beautiful, very organized, safe with great logistics.
Visited the Aviva for the ROI vs NI women's ⚽️. Great atmosphere pity you couldn't bring your drink down to your seat though. …
World class stadium which was well managed for ladies soccer match. Excellent view of pitch, ample leg space and comfortable seats.
Great view from nosebleed seats. Get any merchandise from building outside of building before entering, not available inside.
Great modern stadium conveniently located near the centre of Dublin city. Great venue for matches, concerts and conferences
Well planned and easy to find your seat. Toilets were clean and in ample numbers. Long lines at the snack counter though.
Went to see the BOI Ire vs Eng game and it was such a great atmosphere. An experience and very happy my team won too!
Great stadium, fantastic atmosphere, really well run event with leinster , very helpful staff , an absolute pleasure
Well laid out and easy to navigate. Unfortunately for some events they close the food and bar services early.
Sat in Block 505 row CC, great view but A LOT of steps to get to our seats. Seat space not too bad either.
Great stadium, not to hard to get into very helpfull staff and a good sound from the crowd at matches.
Impressive stadium. Plenty of space No queues for the ladies No queues for the bar or food Lived it.
My 1st time in Dublin and professional football game. Loved the stadium easy to get in and out.
Fab day out for my son only 5 rows away from pitch. Easy entry staff very present well staffed.
Brought my son and was an awesome experience.his first time to proper stadium and he loved it.
