Hats off to the Manager and her Team on how well they handled the big release today. The line was handled with speed and fairness. I know what it's like to put on an event like this and the Team really did a great job. I was able to get pretty much every single dream bottle I have ever wanted. My girl was there and so her selections is going to friends that couldn't make it today. Just a great event and we had an amazing time. The Police was a very good idea. In the future either the store or the people in line should just form a simple list to make clean who is who. There were a few people to to sneak in and hold spots for people that weren't there to include those at the very front. This just creates animosity among the customers behind them which was a massive line. But those were very minimal and not my focus for this review. I still am in shock at what I was able to purchase today. Yall made so many people's entire year!!! We look forward to more events at this location for sure.

Went looking for something in particular, but they didn't have it, apparently no one in Texas does, guess I need to make a trip to the distillery in New Mexico. The guy at the store had some excellent suggestions about something that was similar. Friendly staff and an excellent selection. Also picked up a bottle of IPA barrel Jameson that I've been wanting to try, as well as a bottle of doppelbock I haven't seen since I was at the brewery in Bamberg many years ago. Nice selection of cigars, not a loser in the bunch.

I've been to numerous Spec's in San Antonio locations and this one, "hands down" is the best. Their bourbon selection is massive and they have many of the "hard to find" bourbons. The staff is very friendly as well as professional. Jake, the liquor manager, is a functional subject manager expert and is a great resource. He will keep you advised on incoming shipments so you can plan to shop on that day. I couldn't be happier with this store. Jake and his staff are that good!!!

First visit to this store. It is very large compared to others I have been in. Very clean. Even the restroom was also. The only thing was 2 cashiers that actually ckd us out asked us if we wanted boxes, yes, not going to carry out 10 bottles of booze in my arms! Got us 2 boxes and left it up to us to put product in, never had that happen before. Surprised to say the least. Mgmt needs to look into this. CS is everything.

Great selection and super helpful staff. I wanted a hard to find bottle that I noticed had just come in from a shipment and the girl doing inventory made sure I got a bottle as soon as she was done checking everything in. Always great prices on bourbons whether allocated or not. No ridiculous overcharging like some of the local privately owned joints around here.

very friendly and helpful staff. love this place. I wish they would have more diversity with whiskey but, given the state of bourbon today, I can understand why. Everything is organized well and even though I also frequent Total Wine, I like Specs better. If you're a bourbon aficionado, then check them out!

Picked up a curbside order and they were very prompt, friendly and professional. Employees were wearing masks, that made me feel safe. They have a great selection of products, including the new & hard to find Ace Cider Multi-Pack with Pear, Apple, Guava & Pineapple flavors. YAAASSS!!!

Excellent service and prices. I recently purchased alcohol for my son’s wedding and Greg the store manager was so professional. He walked me through the entire process and went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Can’t recommend these guys enough!

Friendly staff. They know a good amount. Had some of the specific wines I wanted. Smaller selection of spirits that I was looking for. Good store that is worth a visit. We all left with something we wanted. Some new items and some tried and true.

This location is formerly a Gabriel's, which I miss very much. The feel of the store is cold and aloof compared to what it used to be. Other Specs are the same. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's just not the same.

They had what I was looking for and an item I did not know I wanted to find. Customer service is great and friendly, which helped in narrowing down a search in the wine area. This is well worth the visit.

Large store with a very wide selection. Sometimes difficult to locate an item but it is usually there. A little disappointed in pricing. Online prices don't always match with prices in the store.

This place has a solid variety of different liquors and beers. The employees in the isle are super helpful. The cashier was something to be desired.

The owner is so knowledgeable and everything is easy to find and the prices are great. I prefer the personal and small store over the big chains.
