Enough to ruin the experience of shopping here at this specs was a very rude attitude from one of the cashiers. It was a girl, I didn’t catch her name, but she was a young with an aggressive attitude. She told my wife and I to step back since there was a line forming in the alley of the bottle shelves, but keep in mind if she hadn’t been looking at her phone the entire time, she would’ve noticed that we were the first in that line and walked up as the transaction she finished was done. I get about being called to be next in line in places that have that kind of sign, like “please wait here to be called” but no such thing. So after she gave us a rude scolding to which the people in the long even said that we were next? She continued to take our transaction with very rude customer service… that was enough for this review to be posted as I never had this kind of problem at specs. And management should check these kinds of people especially if they spend more time looking at their phone rather than looking at what’s going on around them.

Had just got off of a flight from D.C. ready to explore San Antonio before I could check into my hotel for the evening. Thought this place may have some good selection because of how big it was. I did not feel welcomed by the associates at all. No greeting and I wandered around a bit looking for specific drinks and couldn't find any and no one approached. I had to walk to the front and ask for help. When they didn't have what I asked for, no suggestion was given in place. An older white woman walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if she needed help. Mind you, she walked out, didn't even purchase anything. I finally settled on something and made my purchase. The cashier was nice but I didn't care for the other guys posting up like security instead of like sales associates and actually helping. I'm new here and this experience put a sour taste in my mouth. Customer service needs major improvement here. All customers should be treated fairly. Won't go back..

I've used their curbside pick up option during the pandemic and now, post pandemic. Their fast and friendly customer service is consistent. You can find almost anything at this location, its a huge store. The other locations I've visited carry limited selections. I ONLY came for some olives. I cannot find olives, any where else, like the ones Spec sells. On this particular Saturday morning there was a gin and burbon sampling. I stopped to check out the gin because I LOVE dirty martinis. I was not prepared to buy a bottle but after sampling, I was SOLD! the same with the borbon. Thank you, Specs, for offering samples which helps consumers make wise buying choices. I left the store feeling joyous!! Come check this store out for yourself!

Specs is a huge store, selling beer, wine, liquor and other alcoholic drinks. They also sell soda and other mixers as well as drink supplies and novelties. Due to their size, they can sell wide selections of all their offerings. They had a nice selection of single-malt Scotch and an impressive variety of sake. Their wine selection was not terribly large or impressive but if you are looking to pick up a quick bottle for a host gift they have you covered! Of course, they have ice and snacks. There were not any employees available to answer questions so if you need help, you might have to rely on Google.

I really like it's new specs store hear at Ingram prices I competitive but any liquor store in the area including HEB for Wines and beer also available nice variety of tobacco's as in cigarettes but no rolling tobacco I talk to the manager I know you said that specs needs a special license to sell rolling tobacco needless to say I think is blowing smoke but we will see other than that very very pleased went to store and staff very helpful an amazing variety I'm liquor store products

Great variety of beer, wine, and spirits. The Staff was very pleasant and helpful in recommending mixer’s. This place is great and big, there is not too many places on this side of town with large selections of alcoholic beverages but this store has an abundance of choices. You don’t have to guess how much something cost because everything is clearly labeled and you can get a discount on some items if you pay in cash. Everything is well light and clean.

Store has a good selection but the past times I've gone the employees were very rude and unpleasant. The cashier I had didn't even answer a question that I asked, he literally gave me the hand, blew me off and got upset when I asked to take off one item out of the many things that I purchased. I recommend going to the Deano's Discount liquor store on Fredricksburg. They have cheaper prices, a great selection and they are such friendly people.

I used to like coming however the selection is considerably limited. In terms of their beer selection, they carry too much of stuff that can easily be purchased at Walmart or HEB. After visiting a Total Wine, it's much better option and honestly, even better and cheaper liquor as well at Total Wine. Specs at this point is like the Walmart of liquor stores, better off making the drive to Total Wine by North Star or The Rim.

Have had poor experiences the two times i ordered online and did curbside recently. First time they never brought out my order and I had to go inside then when I left i saw the order was incomplete so I had to come back. Second time the order was cancelled after I arrived cause it wasn’t in stock. Why was I able to purchase it online for pickup if it wasn’t even in stock? Won’t be ordering here again.

Nearly walked out after a rude stock person yelled "Hey! Bring that back! I'm not done with that" when I took and empty cardboard box to carry multiple items. I responded that I was planning on buying a few things, and she advised me of boxes at the register. Needless to say, I bought fewer items than I intended and won't be back even though register personnel made up for the prude in the back....

Wide arrangement of spirits and wines. The store carries just about any alcoholic beverage one may want or need, at very reasonable prices. They also offer discounts for military/veterans. The staff is very friendly and will not hesitate to help you find a particular product you may be interested in. Highly recommend.

Great liqour store huge selection. Very clean and easy to find what you need. Staff was super helpful came up to me to check if I need help. Ask her for a bottle that I did not see on shelf she went check in the back a got me what I was looking for. Overall a awesome spot to pick up your favorites.

Even though they do have every brand and type of alcohol that most people would want, it's too bad their membership app does not have any perks. You earn points for every purchase but that does absolutely nothing in reward deals or specials. That is why I only gave them four stars.

First time shopping at Specs and it was a great experience! Staff is super friendly and helpful, the prices are great. Lots of good deals and great variety of alcohol that is easy to locate throughout the store. They also offer military discount which was also really nice.

Love love love this place. Employees always know their booze, and can always give a really good recommendation if you feel like something new. Aside from times where I have to go somewhere else for a one-off that specs doesn't carry, I refuse to shop anywhere else.

This location is en route from work to home. Store is clean and organized. Easy to find what you want and plenty of it. This location has apple, plum, and grapefruit soju. Along with the Fresh and regular - ack! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable.

The thing I like Spec's is that they do not only stock the usual stuff but harder to find types .. as I'm a fan of rakı, arak, uzo and the like I enjoy shopping here a lot as I can find them! The last time I also bought some pretty decent imported ale too.. nice!

prices seemed a little high for the holidays. They usually have good deals, but this year looks like the same prices they've always had. Their selection is the best and their humidor is pretty good. If you know cigars, you will get great deals as well.

So I called in advance and asked if they had a specific beer I wanted, well I was put on hold and then was told it was in stock. So you can imagine my surprise when I drive 30 minutes to get there and then was told they don’t have it in stock.

Great selection of wine and spirits. The staff is very helpful as well as knowledgeable. If you can't find the wine you want, ask Sandman, he is the wine expert. If they don't have it he will gladly look it up and try to find it for y ou.

Spec's is very well stocked with distilled spirits, beer and wine. If there is a liquor store in San Antonio with lower prices, I haven't found it. The store is clean, well lit, and the staff is very helpful and courteous.

Great selection and great customer service. Guy ahead of me in line dropped and broke a bottle of something and they didn't miss a beat within seconds had another register for me while they cleaned up the mess.

My first time in Spec's. It was an amazing experience. The gentleman helped me find everything I was looking for and even suggested better cheaper brands. My party was a huge success thanks brother!!!!!!

EZ in and out, as far as liquor stores go. Selection is so-so, but easy parking and checkout make up for that. They'll have almost anything you are looking for, except for the hard to find stuff.

We were able to get some drinks for a birthday party and my boyfriend was surprised they had the variety pack of camens. We ended up having a good time at the party without spending too much

It's party city for alcohol. Prices are good and they even have an acceptable selection of cigars. If there's a specific bottle or beer you've been looking for, you'll probably find it here

They dont seem to carry Old Taylor they have Old granddad. They should also include a texas lottery machine so folks can play instead of going through the line to play. Simple in and out.

They have a vast selection of wine, liquor, beer, and cigars at reasonable prices. The staff is always knowledgeable and helpful, and service members/military retirees enjoy discounts!

Ok for a quick, close trip when I'm in this shopping plaza. The Spec's on Dezavala is much nicer. It has a deli counter and much more personalized service, which this store lacks.

Nice selection of liquors, beer, and cider. Oh l, not to mention Mezcal. They even have good pecan pie. It's a bit expensive at over $19, but it is made with Crown Royal. NICE.
