Newly renovated water park is great for all ages, but our 10, 7, and 2 year olds all had a ton of fun playing here. A water park and three other inclusive playgrounds, along with basketball and tennis courts makes this a great place to spend hours at on a warm summer day. Highly recommend. Note: I have seen comments regarding slippery parts of the park, and I would agree. My 10 year old son had a slight slip under the timed waterfall and had a goose egg on the back of his dome. Remind your little ones not to run. Hopefully it can be fixed as my son wasn't ripping through, and still had an incident. Update 09.09.2022: Two tennis courts that are in good condition and great to play on.

Great park in Somerset with nice splash park as shown in videos. Lots of play ground, sun clock, picnic benches, you can organize birthday parties, ample washroom. No parking as its only street parking. Kids had a lot of fun in splash park. There is even basket ball and tennis court. Nice short trails around. Over all a great park to spend a nice evening. Check out videos and follow for more.
Playground
Two big playground with slides, swings, monkey bar etc. Plus splash park
Restrooms
Ample male and female washroom
Picnic area
Lots of sheltered and unsheltered picnic benches

What a fun spot! The waterpark and playground both have washrooms really close by which is nice for younger children, and for older children, and for adults... when we went yesterday one of the parks was fun stuff so only the toddler park was available. The paths were nice to walk on. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there’s no separation between the park/ water park and the road that goes all the way around the park, so if you have a runner for a child this might not be the best place for you to go

Incredible park! Lots of great play areas for all ages and abilities. Love the numerous musical play items. Also, there is a splash park, basketball court, lots of green space as well as washrooms. Very highly recommend checking out this park! Don’t forget bathing suits and towels
Playground
Incredible park! Lots of great play areas for all ages and abilities. Love the numerous musical play items.
Restrooms
Very large restrooms, however there is only 1 stall in both male and female restroom.

I wish we had a park like this when I was a kid. I literally had one slide and a sea saw that didn't work, which was challenging for the onion that we wore on our belt (which was the style at the time). It was a rough go, as the winner of the onion run would win 6 moon pies, which we would trade old Mr. McGalley for a ride on his daily trolley trip into town, to barter for salt petre and vegimite.

You have a lot to do in this park. There's a splash pad and playground for the kids and those young at heart. Two tennis courts, and two basketball courts as well. There are benches and tables scattered around the place, which is good for families to lounge around. Happy that this park is near to our place. Your kids will surely love it here.

A beautiful park for kids and grown ups. For playing, water activities and a wick walk. Nicely designed horticulture set up and laid out walking/ Jogging. Stonework and aesthetically erected permanent structures are perfectly blended into park ambience. We were here, while in Calgary for a weekend, and we felt really good to be here!!

Great little splash park, lots of different features to keep the kids interested. There is a large fill up bucket that dumps on the kids that they love, my 11 mo old is much too small for it but he'll love it when he's older. Seems to be a pretty safe place with lots of people around. Lots of parking as well.

Great spray park! Bathrooms are usually clean, the play ground is good for a variety of ages, and I can usually find a place to park and a grassy spot in the shade to sit.
Playground
Friendly for many ages.
Restrooms
Only two but usually clean
Picnic area
Many benches or places to sit.

This park was so fun! This was our first time going here and we will definitely be back often! It's quite large and there's a splash pad, basketball court, lots of grass, 3 playground structures, covered picnic tables. There was lots to do to keep my kids busy! Oh and there's bathrooms!!

Good place to bring children to play with water. There is a splash park that works in July and August. There is also a nice playground area and lots of green spaces for picnics. I could not find any picnic table so we sat on the grass. There are clean washrooms available to change clothes.

  • Cori Bear

Waterpark great for the children! Good way to cool down on a hot day. Close by is the play park which is updated and more exciting. All play parks should be updated to keep the kids busy and interested. I enjoyed being with my grandchildren at this particular waterpark and play park.

A fun place to take kiddos. Has a relatively clean public washroom and outdoor showers to rinse off. Not a lot of shade, I recommend bringing a pop-up shade tent, small cooler with lots of cold drinks and snacks, and towels of course. Most importantly bring waterguns and buckets.

  • Canuck Fan

Great splash park, plenty of green space all around for sun tents etc. Clean bathrooms, playground for all ages. This is the ultimate hot day destination for the deep south. Keep an eye on littles, as the bucket drop will definitely knock a >4yr old on their rear.

  • Shelley Thiemann

Amazing new water park for little and bigs kids. Change room and bathroom is single use. The playground next to it is new as well for all ages and abilities. Definitely recommend a sun shade & bring lots of beverages as there is no store close by. No pets allowed.

Calgary Somerset Waterpark is a fantastic destination for water park lovers. With a refreshing wave pool, and a fun children's area, it offers something for everyone. The park is well-maintained. Highly recommended for a day of exciting water park fun!"

  • James Hertwig

Real fun place to bring kids! Some of the concrete around the actual sprinklers gets slippery when wet depending on the finish--I'd recommend to have your kids wear nice grippy water shoes. Otherwise great with several playgrounds in the area as well!

  • Ajay Lopez

Great park but quite slippery. I've watched countless kids slip on the painted portion of the waterpark. My kid got a huge bump on the back of his head today. The updates are great and so much fun. I'd give 5 stars if it weren't so slippery

  • Bette P

Pretty fun time for all ages to cool down on hot summer days! Caution with toddlers on the big bucket dump. There are 3 playgrounds on the other side. Big green space to set up a base camp. It has a public washroom and shower as well.

  • Corey Zinger

This is a great park and waterparks for kids that are able to walk around for themselves. At the moment our kid is not able to walk yet so there was not much he could do - but for the older kids this is a great park for families.

  • R P

All inclusive for all kids, everything even the water park is wheelchair accessible.. Great play ground, tons of open grass space . Only downside is the garbages are not properly maintained and are constantly over flowing.

  • Dave Church

Great splash park, nice playground, good bathrooms and change area, lots of space to set up near all of them. Docked a start for almost zero shady areas, make sure you bring a beach shelter or an umbrella for that.

  • Riley Jasmine Bernas (Riley)

it is a great place to bond with your kids and family friendly environment.. we love the place and would come back again.. thank you City of Calgary. we had so much fun esp. with the water splash

  • Finding the Silver Lining

Great water park the kids love it, and I love but it's open to the public. Three really decent parks right beside the water park. The only complaint I have is that there's hardly any shade.

  • Luther

Has an excellent set of parks for children! My baby been coming here since she started walking, during the hot season they also have a little water park for children! Overall great place.

  • Cody Topp

Amazing spot in south Calgary for the kiddos or a picnic! Splash park and a full accessible playground as well as a second smaller playground for the Littles. SO MUCH FUN for the family!

  • Maryanne Croft

Love this place. It's great for the kids. I wish the washrooms were open. That's one of the main reasons I come to this park. My kiddos have to pee. Regardless everyone had fun today.

  • denserformula

Amazing 3 parks in one, all with great design choices making for fun that lasts. Add in one of the best splash parks in the city and this place is a go-to outside destination.

  • Amy Cowan

Such a great space to play. Updated playground equipment, lots of room to kick a ball around have a picnic. Splash park in the summer is great. 1 block away from a 7/11.

  • Mohammed Taher

New playground for kids with many fun things for them.

New games.
Restrooms
I saw a temporary one there,but I think there's a permanent one.

  • Christina Raj

Great variety of play items for kids of different ages. I like that they've used foam instead of gravel which is very infant friendly.

  • Luis A
